Abstract
Description
Description Title of the invention: Assembly comprising at least one rail and a support
[0001] The present invention is in the field of railway infrastructure. relates more specifically to an assembly comprising at least one rail and one support.
[0002] — The rail supports allow the rail to be held in the desired position, thus that the transmission of forces of passage of railway rolling stock, from the rail to foundation.
[0003] — For the standard track, traditional supports consist of sleepers, generally concrete sleeper. To be able to fix the rails to the concrete sleeper, if necessary by via a saddle, appropriate reservations should be made in the concrete crossbeam, and in the right place with good precision, on the order of a millimeter.
[0004] There are crossbeams equipped with a groove for receiving heads of Bolt, to fix the rails to the sleepers. However, these should be cast. in a slab of concrete, the latter being poured into a foundation slab. Implementation is therefore more complex.
[0005] — A track switch is a railway track element that provides support and guidance of railway rolling stock in certain specific cases. The device A track can, for example, be used to create a fork or a crossing. The track switch can also be an expansion joint, particularly in the cases requiring greater free expansion of the rails than that permitted by the joints common, for example on a bridge joint. The geometry of the track switches depends of the railway configuration, and is specific to each situation.
[0006] Various solutions exist for constructing the support for a track switch.
[0007] It is possible to place concrete sleepers on a base following the geometry of the trackwork, then pouring concrete between the sleepers to obtain comprehensive support. Such an installation has the disadvantage of being intolerant to settlements that cannot be compensated for once the sleepers are laid, and that after Once the concrete has been poured, fine adjustments to the position of the track switches are no longer necessary. possible. In order to obtain greater adjustment flexibility after installation of the For support, it is possible to use grooved crossbeams as shown in the document EP2603637. But in these solutions involving poured concrete, a A large quantity of concrete is needed to achieve satisfactory strength, which is expensive, bulky and heavy.
[0008] — Alternatively, there are track switch supports made of prefabricated slabs- Brick-faced slabs, for example those proposed in document AT521653. These slabs are suitable The geometry of the track switches is determined by their shape. The fixing points of the track switches on the slabs can be predefined during the slab manufacturing process, but the drawback is that a large number of different molds are required to produce supports adapted to various track switch geometries. Furthermore, this makes subsequent adjustment of the track switch geometry relative to the slabs complex and limited. The problem that the present invention aims to solve is to provide an assembly comprising a support for running track or track switches whose manufacture, transport, assembly, and / or maintenance are facilitated, and whose design and implementation are independent of the type of fastening devices and the variable geometries of the track switches. The proposed invention makes the track or track switch support independent of the type of fastening devices and therefore of the type of track or track switch. One object of the present invention is to provide a track support or track switch support having a limited number of separate parts. Another object of the present invention is to provide a track switch support compatible with a large number of different track switch geometries. Another object of the present invention is to provide a support for running track or track equipment allowing adjustment after installation. The present invention aims to address, at least in part, the aforementioned objectives by providing a track or track switch mounted on a support comprising prefabricated concrete blocks, allowing for flexible use. To this end, it proposes an assembly comprising a support, at least one rail, and a plurality of devices for fixing said rail to said support. This assembly is particular in that: said support comprises a plurality of concrete blocks, each block being one-piece and comprising at least two grooves, said fastening devices each comprising at least one head arranged in a groove of one of said blocks. Thanks to these provisions, the track support is largely made of standardizable modular blocks, the use of which can be adapted to many different contexts. In standard track, for special geometries, particularly those with high curvature and in cases of varying curvature (gradients of curvature radii), conventional supports, all identical, are unsuitable, and these provisions allow the use of identical blocks for different track geometries. According to other characteristics: said at least two grooves can be straight, which facilitates the fa- bricking of the blocks and adjustment of the placement of the fastening devices by in relation to the grooves, The grooves in a block can all be parallel and spaced at a single interval, preferably between 450 and 750 mm, which further facilitates the manufacture of the blocks. said assembly may include a track switch for a railway vehicle, junction, crossing, expansion joint or other, in which said support is a track switch support and said track switch includes said rail, thereby enabling the benefit of many advantages of the present invention, at least one block may include a recess configured to allow the installation of at least part of an operating mechanism, such as a motor, a locking system, a chocking system, a redirection system, a linkage, or a heating system, which allows the assembly according to the invention to easily integrate one or more of these elements; at least two blocks may be identical, preferably, where applicable, said trackwork comprising a switch and said two blocks being configured to support at least part of said switch; this allows the reuse of the same mold for two blocks and reduces manufacturing costs. said track switch may include a crossing frog, and said blocks may be configured to support said crossing frog, which allows the assembly according to the invention to easily integrate a crossing frog, said track switch may include any other specific track switch arrangement, which allows the assembly according to the invention to easily integrate such an element, said fastening devices may comprise a saddle having two holes, each of considerable length, the holes being arranged on one side and the other of said rail, said considerable length being parallel to said rail, and of sufficient length to allow the vertical projection of each of said holes to intersect with the same groove on the upper face of a block, which makes it easy to adjust the orientation of the rail relative to the groove, and to use saddles in an assembly according to the invention, without the need to provide a specific saddle for each fastening, and in particular specific for each angle between the rail and a groove, said track switch may include a crossing frog, said assembly may include a frog support disposed between said crossing frog and at least one support block, which allows for optimal integration of the crossing frog into the assembly according to the invention, in particular a frog of crossing manufactured from an existing mold, and which was not specially designed- specifically for an assembly according to the invention, said track device may include a direct track and the grooves may be per- pendulums to the said direct route, which facilitates the use of blocks identical for assemblies with track components of different geometries, The said track device may include a switching zone, and at least one block located at the level of the switching area, said block presenting a larger dimension in the direction of traffic than its dimension in the direction perpendicular to the traffic, which optimizes the di- dimensions of the blocks, particularly for the purpose of their transport, said track switch may include a crossing area and at least one block of the crossing zone, said block having a smaller dimension in the direction of circulation that its dimension in the direction perpen- dicular to circulation, which allows for optimization of block dimensions, particularly for the purpose of their transport, The present invention also relates to a group of at least two assemblies according to the invention, each comprising a portion of a standard track respectively a track switch, in which at least one block of a The first set is identical to at least one block of a second set. the sections of running track, respectively track switches, of the first and second sets presenting different geometries. Thanks to these provisions, it is possible to reuse the same mold for a larger number of blocks, which reduces manufacturing costs on the one hand, but also allows for standardization and thus simplifies the processes of laying and implementing an assembly according to the invention. The present invention further relates to a group of at least two assemblies according to the invention, each comprising a track switch, each comprising at least one point and an operating mechanism including at least one means for applying an operating force to an application point of said point in order to move it between an open position and a closed position, wherein the distance between the nearest application point to the free end of said point and at least one edge of the block above which said application point is located is the same for both assemblies, the track switches of the first and second assemblies having different geometries. Thus, a different positioning distance of the crossing frog relative to the edges of the block(s) supporting the crossing frog will be observed for the two assemblies, the track switches of the first and second assemblies having different geometries. Thanks to these provisions, it also becomes easier to use identical blocks for assemblies with track switches of different geometry; in particular, the block above which said point of application is disposed can more easily be identical, especially when it includes a recess, for assemblies with track switches of different geometry. The present invention further relates to a one-piece concrete block comprising at least two grooves as a spare part or reuse of an assembly according to the invention, which can be intended indifferently for at least two assemblies whose running track parts, respectively track switches, have different geometries. Thanks to these provisions, a reduced stock of spare parts can be expected for a given site, because several blocks at that site are identical; moreover, the reuse of blocks that have become useless at a particular site is facilitated. The present invention further relates to a method for installing an assembly according to the invention, comprising at least the following steps: manufacturing a plurality of concrete blocks, each block being cast in a piece, transport of said blocks, laying the blocks on a foundation, fixing said rail to said blocks. Thanks to these provisions, the assembly according to the invention can be produced in a simple and inexpensive way, allowing for the standardization and thus simplification of the installation and implementation processes. According to other characteristics: said process may include, after the fixing step, an adjustment step. height and / or lateral of a fixing device relative to a block in modifying the position of at least one of said fastening devices in relation to audit support, which allows adjustments after the track equipment has been installed. The present invention finally relates to a method for installing at least two assemblies according to the invention comprising the following steps: manufacturing at least two identical blocks, installation of a first assembly comprising at least one of the said at least two identical blocks, installation of a second set comprising at least one other of the said minus two identical blocks, the sections of running track, respectively track switches, of the first and second sets can have different geometries, which further increases the potential for reusing the molds in which they are cast the blocks, and thus further reduced manufacturing costs by allowing to standardize and thus simplify the installation and implementation processes. [fig.10] Fig.10 is a perspective view of a detail of an assembly according to a particular embodiment of the invention. [fig.11] Fig.11 is a perspective view of a block of an assembly according to a particular embodiment of the invention comprising a recess, The present invention applies to a support and rails of running track, as shown in figs. 3 and 4. It has the advantage of being able to use the same supports for different types of rail or saddles, and avoids the difficulty of having to precisely plan the reservations for the fixings from the manufacturing of the supports. Furthermore, the track support is largely made of standardized modular blocks, the use of which can be adapted to many different contexts. In standard track layouts, for special geometries, particularly those with high curvature and variations in curvature (gradients of curvature radii), conventional, identical supports are unsuitable, and these provisions allow the use of identical blocks for different track geometries. The present invention has many advantages when applied to track equipment, and will be described in more detail in the following section. The assembly according to the invention, shown in [Fig. 1] and [Fig. 2], comprises a track switch for a railway vehicle and a track switch support. The track switch can be of any type: for example, it could be a device adapted for a junction or a crossing, or even an expansion joint; generally speaking, it refers to any device installed on the track for which standard track laying is unsuitable. The track switch may include a turnout, located in a turnout zone 1 and / or a crossing frog located in a crossing zone 2 and / or a transition zone 3. The track switch comprises at least one rail 4 and a plurality of rail 4 fixing devices 5 on the track switch support. In the context of the present invention, a fastening device is understood to mean any device enabling the fastening of a rail, a guard rail, a switch, a guard rail, or a frog of a track switch to the track switch support. Those skilled in the art will be able to choose the most appropriate fastening device for each application. This may be a direct fastening device, in which the rail 4 is fixed directly to the track switch support. It may also be an indirect fastening device, in which an interface piece is fixed to the support by a first fastening means, and the rail 4 is fixed to said interface piece by a second fastening means. Each fastening means may include an elastic fastener, an angle guide, an insulator, a spike, a base plate, or a tilt wedge. The interface piece can then be continuous or discontinuous, particularly in the longitudinal direction of rail 4. The track switch support comprises a plurality of prefabricated concrete blocks 6. The blocks 6 are monolithic, that is to say, each one is cast in one piece, preferably in a mold. As shown in [fig.3] and 4, the blocks 6 each have at least two grooves 7 on their upper face, typically between five and ten grooves 7. The upper face of a block 6 is the face on which part of the track equipment is placed. The fastening devices 5 each include at least one head 8 disposed in a groove 7 of a block 6. The head 8 may be in the form of a screw head, or parallelepiped in shape, or any other shape which prevents the device from being extracted from the groove 7 from above. For indirect mounting, attaching a saddle to block 6 can present a challenge. This is because saddles typically have four mounting holes, two on each side of the rail. However, with blocks 6 of an assembly according to the invention, these two holes are not necessarily located above a groove. In a preferred embodiment of the invention, illustrated in Figs. 5 and 6, the fastening devices 5 comprise a saddle 9 having two long holes 10, for example oblong or rectangular. The holes 10 are arranged in on either side of rail 4, their longest length being parallel to rail 4. The long length of the holes 10 is sufficient to allow the vertical projection of each of the two holes 10 to intersect with the same groove 7 on the upper face of a block. The fastening device 5 can then comprise two rods, each passing through one of the holes 10, and terminating in the head 8 located in the groove 7, on which is arranged a clamping nut (not shown), and optionally a washer, for fixing the saddle 9 to the block 6. This arrangement makes it possible to indirectly fix rails 4 at varying angles in a single groove 7 of a block according to the invention, the rail being fixed to the saddle in a conventional manner, for example by an elastic fastener. Saddles wide enough to be fixed to blocks 6 by two adjacent grooves 7 can also be used. This can be done by means of a long hole as described above, or by saddles specifically adapted to a given profile. In a preferred embodiment of the invention, illustrated in Figures 7 to 8, the fastening device may comprise a rod terminating at its lower end in a head 8 inserted into a groove 7 in a block 6, and allowing the rail 4 to be fixed directly to the block 6, for example by means of a spring clip tightened by a clamping nut and, where applicable, a washer. Depending on the design arrangements, a vertical and / or horizontal stop may be added to the rear of the clip, and / or a base plate between the rail 4 and the block 6. Fig. 9 represents different types of fixing devices 5a, 5b, 5c arranged on a block 6 having grooves 7. Each fixing device 5 fixes a section of rail 4 with an angle between the rail 4 and the groove 7. Going through Fig. 9 from left to right, this angle is 0°, then 10°, 20°, 30° and finally 40°. The groove 7 has a profile adapted to receive the head 8, for example a rectangular profile. The groove 7 preferably has a narrowing 11 on its open end so that the head 8 cannot come out of the groove 7 by a vertical translational movement. The grooves 7 are preferably straight, but can also be curved or have one or more angles. The grooves 7 of a block 6 are preferably parallel to each other and spaced at a single interval, for example between 450 and 750 mm. This spacing is defined according to the class of equipment or the axle load of the rolling stock to run on the track switch, the cross-section of the rail 4, the stiffness of the track, or the location of locking systems, operating or redirecting mechanisms, as well as the crossing frog. The grooves 7 allow for a multiplicity of points on each block 6. potential fixing of a fixing device 5 on the block 6. Thus after the block 6 is installed on the railway site, it is possible to adjust the position of the fixing device 5 on the block 6 along the groove 7, for example transversely to the direction of the rail 1. This also allows the use of identical blocks 6 for different geometries of track switches, for example by placing the fixing devices at different levels of the grooves 7. It is thus possible to define a limited number of different blocks 6 allowing to support a wide variety of track switches. In the context of the present invention, "track switch geometry" refers to all the parameters of the track switches, including the radii of curvature of the diverging track, whether the radius is constant or variable along the switch, the switch tangent, defined as the tangent of the angle between the straight and diverging tracks at the crossing, the rail types, the different classes of switches, etc. Furthermore, "track geometry" refers to all the geometric parameters of the track, including the radii of curvature of the track, whether the radius is constant or variable along the track. According to a particular embodiment of the invention, the assembly according to the invention may comprise at least two identical blocks 6, each located at different positions on the running track or the turnout. This is particularly easy to achieve for turnouts with large radii of curvature, where the rail gauge 4 varies little from one block 6 to the other. For running track, this is especially useful for sharp curves with varying curvatures. If the track switch includes a turnout, the two identical blocks 6 can be configured to support at least part of the turnout. Indeed, at the turnout, the gauge of the rails 4 varies the least, and it is therefore there that two identical blocks 6 can be most easily installed. According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, several identical blocks 6 can be used for several track switches of different geometries; adapting the position of the fixing means in the grooves is sufficient so that the supports comprising these blocks 6 are adapted to different geometries of track switches. We can thus consider a group of at least sets, each comprising a section of track, in which at least one block 6 of a first set is identical to at least one block 6 of a second set, while the geometries of the track sections of the first and second sets are different, exhibiting, for example, different curvatures or variations. The sets of the same group can be installed, for example, on the same construction site, in locations more or less distant from each other. We can also consider a group of at least two sets, each containing a track switch, in which at least one block 6 of the first set is identical to at least one block 6 of the second set, even though the geometries of the track switches in the first and second sets are different. The sets within the same group can be installed, for example, on the same construction site, in locations that are more or less distant from each other. For example, the set according to [fig.2] comprises ten blocks (from 6a to 6j), all different. The set according to [fig.1], which is longer and has a larger radius of curvature for the diverging track, could include, for example, one 6a block, one 6b block, two 6c blocks, one 6d block, one 6e block, one 6f block, two 6g blocks, and two 6h blocks. For an even longer turnout, the same 6-block units can be used in greater quantities. For example, with ten different 6-block units, most turnout supports of any geometry can be manufactured. The 6a blocks are arranged identically between the assembly in [Fig. 1] and that in [Fig. 2] with respect to the needle point. More precisely, the distance between the point of application closest to the free end of said needle and at least one edge of the block above which said point of application is located is the same for both assemblies. This allows, in particular, the use of the same type of 6a block for both assemblies at the needle point, even if the 6a block has a recess to accommodate at least part of the operating mechanism. The 6g blocks located at the crossover zone 2 can be used for both sets even if the crossover core is not located in the same way for both sets, in particular if the tip of the crossover core is not positioned at the same distance from the edge of the 6g block. We will thus observe a different positioning distance of the crossing heart in relation to the edges of the block(s) supporting the crossing heart for the two sets, the track switches of the first and second sets having different geometries. The present invention thus enables the reuse of identical block 6 molds for a large number of different track switches. Many different assemblies can therefore be produced with a reduced number of molds into which the block 6s are cast. Costs are lowered thanks to the small number of molds, which can be used for different track switch geometries, and studies are simplified due to a high degree of standardization. For track devices with a straight direct track 12, the grooves 7 of the blocks 6 can be arranged perpendicular to the direct track, which facilitates such use of identical blocks 6. To further optimize this advantage, as illustrated in [Fig. 10], a block 6 can be positioned at the tip of a switch 13, identically for several assemblies whose track switches have different geometries. Each of these assemblies includes a switching mechanism comprising at least one means for applying a switching force to an application point 14 of a switch 13 in order to move it between an open and a closed position. It can thus be assumed that the distance between the application point 14 of the switching force closest to the free end of the switch 13, and a transverse wall of the block 6 on which said application point is located, is the same for all these assemblies. This application point 14 can then be taken as the reference point for positioning the blocks 6 along the track switch. It is known that short points 13 can be operated by a single point of application of the operating force, in which case this point of application 14 will be considered as the closest to the free end of the point 13. For longer points, it is necessary to provide two or more points of application of the operating force, in which case the point of application 14 to be considered will be the closest to the point of the point 13. In some cases, a locking mechanism for the point 13 is provided in the closed position, and / or in the open position; such a locking mechanism is generally located near the point of application 14 of the operating force closest to the point of the point 13. We can thus consider a group of at least two assemblies according to the invention, in which each assembly comprises at least one switch 13 and one operating mechanism. Each operating mechanism includes at least one means 14 for applying an operating force to an application point of said switch 13 in order to move it between an open position and a closed position. The distance between the application point 14 nearest to the free end of said switch 13 and at least one edge of the block 6 above which said application point 14 is located is the same for both assemblies, even though the track switches of the first and second assemblies have different geometries. The assemblies of the same group can be installed, for example, on the same construction site, at locations more or less distant from each other. One advantage of the invention is that after the installation of the fixing device 5, it is still possible to make adjustments by moving the fixing device 5 along the groove 7. A given block 6 can be considered a spare part for an assembly according to the invention. Such a block 6 can then be used interchangeably for several assemblies whose track switches have different geometries. This allows for the optimization of spare parts inventory, particularly for a site including track equipment of different geometries, and promoting better use of these parts. Furthermore, while usually the parts composing track switch supports are discarded after use because they are too specific to a track switch with a particular geometry, the present invention makes it possible to increase the potential for reusing blocks 6. This makes it possible to reduce the number of new parts to be manufactured and therefore reduces the consumption of raw materials. The one-piece nature of block 6 allows for greater mechanical resistance; indeed, the entire block 6 can contribute to absorbing the stresses exerted at the grooves 7. The assembly according to the invention can therefore be used for relatively heavy rolling stock, with a support containing a moderate amount of concrete. The height of the blocks 6 is determined by a person skilled in the art to ensure the proper mechanical stability of the assembly. In order to accommodate all the elements of the track switch, this height sometimes needs to be adjusted to obtain a constant level of the rail 4. For example, it is possible to use one height for all the blocks located in the switch zone 1, a second height for the blocks located in the transition zone 3, and a third height for the blocks located in the crossing zone 2. Preferably, the height of the blocks 6 allows the use of maintenance tools such as clamping C-clamps, the installation of glued insulating joints, or the execution of welds. According to two particular embodiments of the invention, where the assembly includes a switching zone 1, at least one block located in the switching zone 1 may have a larger dimension in the direction of travel of the railway vehicle than its dimension in the direction perpendicular to the traffic. Where the assembly includes a crossing zone 2, at least one block located in the crossing zone 2 may have a smaller dimension in the direction of travel of the railway vehicle than its dimension in the direction perpendicular to the traffic. In both cases, the overall size and the number of blocks are optimized, as they are adapted to the horizontal dimensions of the track switch. The blocks 6, viewed from above, have a preferably quadrilateral shape, such as a rectangle or a trapezoid. The blocks 6 can be configured in any way to support a specific element of a track switch, for example, a crossing frog. The assembly according to the invention may also include a frog support, located between the crossing frog and at least one block 6. Such a support can be configured to receive fastening devices anywhere along its length; this facilitates the use of identical blocks with other assemblies having different crossing frogs, and simplifies the installation of crossing frogs. manufactured in existing molds in assemblies according to the invention. As illustrated in [Fig. 11], block 6 may include a recess 15 configured to accommodate at least part of a control mechanism 16. For the purposes of this invention, a control mechanism 16 is defined as all or part of the device that enables the movement, locking, or positioning of points. The control mechanism 16 may, for example, include one or more elements such as a motor, a locking system, a positioning system, a redirection system, a linkage, or a heating system. As illustrated in [Fig. 11], block 6 may also include a widening in the direction transverse to the rail 4 to accommodate a control mechanism 16. According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, the blocks 6 can be designed to be easily transportable; for example, all blocks 6 can be made with their smallest dimension not exceeding the maximum dimension permitted for transport on a railway wagon, or the maximum dimension permitted for transport on a truck. For example, in the switch area 1, where the transverse dimension to the traffic flow is sufficiently small, the longitudinal dimension can be larger, for example, more than 4 or even 5 meters, whereas in the crossing area, where the transverse dimension to the traffic flow must be larger, the longitudinal dimension will be kept, for example, less than 3.5 meters. We can also choose the dimensions of the 6 blocks so that they do not exceed a maximum weight, to facilitate the handling of these blocks on a construction site. The assembly according to the invention can be installed using a method comprising the following steps: manufacturing a plurality of 6 concrete blocks, each 6 block being cast in one piece, transport of said blocks 6, in particular to the installation site of said together, laying the blocks 6 on a base, for example a concrete slab, fixing of a running track or a track switch on said blocks 6, in particular through the fastening devices 5. The above process may include, after the fixing step, a height and / or lateral adjustment step of a fixing device 5 relative to a block 6. This adjustment step allows in particular to modify the position of at least one of said fixing devices 5 relative to said support. Two assemblies according to the invention, each comprising a section of running track and respectively a track switch, can be laid according to a method comprising the following steps: manufacturing at least two identical blocks, for example by molding, installation of a first assembly comprising at least one of the said at least two identical blocks, installation of a second set comprising at least one other of the said minus two identical blocks. In the above process, the two installation stages can be carried out, for example, on the same construction site, at locations more or less distant from each other. Furthermore, the geometries of the running tracks, and of the track switches, in the first and second assemblies, can be different. Although the above description is based on particular embodiments, it is in no way limiting of the scope of the invention, and modifications may be made, in particular by substitution of technical equivalents or by different combination of all or part of the features developed above.
