Description

Title of the invention: Device for treating a subject Technical field of the invention

[0001] The present invention relates to the technical field of devices for the treatment of a subject (human or animal) by means of a combination of different techniques, namely in particular lithotherapy, chromotherapy, light therapy or music therapy. State of the art

[0002] Unconventional medicine, also known as “alternative medicine”, encompasses a wide variety of treatment methods.

[0003] For example, we know of treatment methods that use chromotherapy (use of colors), lithotherapy (use of crystals, rocks and minerals), music therapy (use of music) and aromatherapy (use of essential plant oils).

[0004] The practitioner often uses a dedicated device to implement these techniques on the subject to be treated.

[0005] But most current devices are suitable for implementing a single type of treatment.

[0006] There is therefore a need for new devices for the treatment of a subject, which would be able to combine different non-conventional medicine techniques. Presentation of the invention

[0007] In order to overcome the aforementioned drawback of the state of the art, the present invention proposes a device for treating a subject, comprising a pyramid-shaped envelope, which has an apex, a base opposite the apex and a central axis passing through said apex.

[0008] The envelope delimits an internal volume in which are attached light means comprising a body delimiting a directional chamber which is arranged coaxially with said central axis and which opens out on the side of said apex.

[0009] The directional chamber comprises:

[0010] - a quartz crystal, oriented coaxially to said central axis, and

[0011] - a cold light source, preferably white in color, opposite the apex, for the production of a cold light beam intended to pass through said quartz crystal, so as to obtain a treatment light beam which is governed by the passage through said quartz crystal and which is emitted at the level of said apex.

[0012] The processing device comprises control means, for controlling the func- operation of said lighting means.

[0013] Such a treatment device is thus suitable for implementing a combination of different techniques recognized in non-conventional medicine, namely in particular lithotherapy, chromotherapy, light therapy or music therapy.

[0014] Other non-limiting and advantageous characteristics of the product according to the invention, taken individually or in all technically possible combinations, are the following:

[0015] - the envelope has a side to height ratio ranging from 1.5 to 1.8, with for example a side dimension ranging from 225 to 245 mm, and a height dimension ranging from 140 to 180 mm;

[0016] - the directional chamber integrates an optical filter which is implanted between the crystal of quartz and the cold light source;

[0017] - the control means comprise means of connection to a device master treatment comprising: a) light means comprising several light units which are each intended to emit a treatment light beam having a predefined light spectrum, which light units each comprise a body which delimits a directional chamber in which a quartz crystal and means for producing a cold light beam intended to pass through said quartz crystal are attached, which body further comprises an opening at the level of which said treatment light beam is emitted, coming from said production means and governed by the passage through said quartz crystal, said light units each being adapted to be arranged so as to orient their respective openings opposite a point of the body of said subject, b) sound means, intended to diffuse sounds, and c) control means,to control and coordinate the operation of said light means and said sound means;

[0018] - said treatment device comprises a plate which is provided with first symbols and which is crossed by the quartz crystal, which treatment device comprises mechanical connection means to a treatment table comprising second symbols, identical to said first symbols;

[0019] - said processing device comprises electronic connection means to a human-machine interface, for example a portable electronic device, for controlling said control means;

[0020] - the envelope comprises a removable apex piece, oriented coaxially with said axis central, so as to obtain an opening in said envelope at the level of which the directional chamber and said quartz crystal open and at the level of which the treatment light beam is emitted, which envelope advantageously comprises a reservation in its base, to house said removable apex piece;

[0021] - quartz crystal consists of a multifaceted quartz crystal.

[0022] The present invention also relates to a system for treating a subject, comprising:

[0023] - a treatment device according to the invention, and

[0024] - a master processing device comprising:

[0025] a) light means comprising several light units which are each intended to emit a treatment light beam having a predefined light spectrum,

[0026] which light units each comprise a body which delimits a directional chamber in which are reported:

[0027] - a quartz crystal and

[0028] - means for producing a cold light beam intended to pass through said quartz crystal,

[0029] which body also comprises an opening at the level of which said treatment light beam is emitted, coming from said production means and governed by the passage of said quartz crystal,

[0030] said light units each being adapted to be arranged so as to orient their respective openings opposite a point of the body of said subject,

[0031] b) sound means, intended to diffuse sounds, and

[0032] c) control means, for controlling and coordinating the operation of said light means and said sound means.

[0033] The treatment system according to the invention also advantageously comprises the aforementioned treatment table.

[0034] Of course, the various features, variants and embodiments of the invention may be combined with each other in various combinations to the extent that they are not incompatible or mutually exclusive. Detailed description of the invention

[0035] Furthermore, various other characteristics of the invention emerge from the appended description given with reference to the drawings which illustrate non-limiting forms of embodiment of the invention and where:

[0036] [Fig-1] is a general and perspective view of a device according to the invention, for the treatment of a subject;

[0037] [Fig.2] is a general and perspective view of the treatment device according to [Fig.l], and in which a removable apex piece is removed;

[0038] [Fig.3] is a general and schematic view, along a vertical section plane, of the treatment device according to [Fig.l];

[0039] [Fig.4] is a general and perspective view of the treatment device according to the [Fig.l], seen from below;

[0040] [Fig.5] is a general and perspective view of a master processing device adapted to be connected to the processing device according to the invention.

[0041] It should be noted that, in these figures, the structural and / or functional elements common to the different variants may have the same references.

[0042] As shown in the figures, the present invention thus relates to a device 1 for the treatment of a subject, also called “treatment device 1”.

[0043] The treatment device 1 is intended to be used by a practitioner for the treatment of a subject.

[0044] By “treatment” we mean conventional medical treatment and / or non-conventional medical treatment (also known as “alternative medicine”).

[0045] By “subject” we advantageously mean a vertebrate being, and more preferably a human or animal being.

[0046] This treatment device 1 according to the invention is for example intended:

[0047] - to acupuncturists, osteopaths, physiotherapists, energy therapists, naturopaths, so phrologists, reflexologists and others;

[0048] - to the medical profession as a whole;

[0049] - to palliative care professionals;

[0050] - to hospitals;

[0051] - to medical and biomedical research laboratories;

[0052] - to natural care and fitness centers;

[0053] - to thalassotherapy;

[0054] - to massage centers.

[0055] In this case, the treatment device 1 according to the invention is advantageously adapted to the implementation of a set of non-conventional and non-invasive medical treatments, in a controlled and coordinated manner, namely chosen for example from:

[0056] - light therapy, through the use of light flux,

[0057] - chromotherapy, through the use of colors,

[0058] - lithotherapy, through the use of quartz crystals,

[0059] - or even music therapy, through the use of chosen musical themes which are advantageous tagly embedded and at a defined frequency, advantageously generated by a master processing device described below in relation to [Fig.5].

[0060] For this, the treatment device 1, according to the invention, comprises an envelope 2 which delimits an internal volume 3 in which are attached light means 4 cooperating with control means 5 (adapted to control the operation of these light means 4). Envelope

[0061] The envelope 2 is in the shape of a pyramidion.

[0062] By "pyramidion" we advantageously mean a small quadrangular pyramid which usually crowns the top of a monument (for example a pyramid or an obelisk).

[0063] The envelope 2 thus advantageously consists of a quadrangular pyramid with five facets, namely:

[0064] - a base 21, in the shape of a quadrilateral (advantageously square), and

[0065] - four triangular lateral facets 22.

[0066] The envelope 2 also comprises an apex 23 which is opposite the base 21 and which advantageously forms the top of the envelope 2.

[0067] The envelope 2 also comprises a central axis 2' passing through the aforementioned apex 23.

[0068] Generally speaking, the pyramidion has different dimensions, in particular:

[0069] - a side dimension, corresponding to the dimension of the edges of the base 21, and

[0070] - a height dimension, corresponding to the dimension going from the base 21 to the apex 23.

[0071] The ratio of side to height is advantageously 1.5 to 1.8.

[0072] For example again, envelope 2 has the following dimensions:

[0073] - a side dimension ranging from 225 to 245 mm, and

[0074] - a height dimension ranging from 140 to 180 mm.

[0075] More preferably, the envelope 2 comprises a removable apex piece 2a, oriented coaxially with said central axis 2'.

[0076] The removable apex piece 2a also advantageously has a quadrangular pyramidal shape.

[0077] The envelope 2 then advantageously comprises:

[0078] - the removable apex piece 2a, carrying the apex 23 and formed by an upper part of the four triangular lateral facets 22, and

[0079] - a base 2b, in the shape of a truncated pyramid, formed by the base 21 and a part lower of the four triangular lateral facets 22.

[0080] Preferably, as illustrated in [Fig. 3], the removable apex piece 2a and the base 2b cooperate by removable assembly means 2c, for example by fitting together by elastic deformation (also called by clipping).

[0081] The base 2b advantageously encloses the lighting means 4 and the control means 5.

[0082] As shown in [Fig.2], the removable apex piece 2a makes it possible to obtain an opening 26 in this envelope 2 (and in particular at the level of the base 2b) at the level of which the light means 4 emerge.

[0083] The removable apex piece 2a thus forms a cover which is adapted to close the opening 26 of this envelope 2.

[0084] In this case, the envelope 2 (and in particular its base 2b) comprises advantageously gentely a reservation 27 in its base 21, to house the removable apex piece 2a when the opening 26 is released (see figures 3 and 4). Light sources

[0085] The light means 4 comprise a body 41 delimiting a directional chamber 42 which is arranged coaxially with the central axis 2' and which opens out on the side of the apex 23.

[0086] Preferably, the body 41 is secured to the base 2b, at its opening 26.

[0087] The body 41 advantageously has a generally tubular shape which delimits the directional chamber 42.

[0088] In this case, the directional chamber 42 opens at the level of the opening 26 carried by the base 2b of the casing 2.

[0089] The directional chamber 42 comprises:

[0090] - a quartz crystal 45, oriented coaxially to the central axis 2', and

[0091] - a cold light source 46, opposite the apex 23, for the production of a cold light beam intended to pass through the quartz crystal 45.

[0092] The quartz crystal 45 advantageously consists of a multi-faceted quartz crystal 45 (for example with twelve facets).

[0093] Generally speaking, by "quartz" is meant the mineral species of the silicate group, subgroup of tectosilicates, composed of silicon dioxide (silica), with traces of different elements.

[0094] The quartz crystal 45 is advantageously colorless. This quartz crystal 45 is advantageously technologically clear or optically clear.

[0095] This quartz crystal 45 can be chosen and selected for example from translucent rock crystals, without inclusion or with low inclusion.

[0096] This quartz crystal 45 advantageously has a shape cut to form three polyhedral coaxial parts, along a longitudinal axis 45', namely:

[0097] - a first terminal part 451, conical and wide, to form a female point, here on the side of the cold light source 46 and advantageously housed within the base 2b,

[0098] - an intermediate part 452, truncated cone-shaped, and

[0099] - a second terminal part 453, conical and narrow, to form a male point, here on the side of the apex 23 and advantageously located outside the base 2b (advantageously under the removable apex piece 2a).

[0100] The truncated intermediate part 452 advantageously comprises a decreasing section from the first terminal part 451 to the second terminal part 453.

[0101] The two terminal parts 451, 453 advantageously comprise an included angle between 40° and 55°.

[0102] Generally, the quartz crystal 45 is here arranged so that its longitudinal axis 45' is coaxial with the central axis 2' of the envelope 2.

[0103] The quartz crystal 45 here passes through the opening 26 carried by the base 2b of the envelope 2, so that this quartz crystal 45 extends on either side of this opening 26.

[0104] A section of the intermediate part 452 and the second terminal part 453 are then free, projecting from the opening 26.

[0105] The cold light source 46 preferably generates a cold light of white color.

[0106] The cold light beam is intended to pass through the quartz crystal 45, so as to obtain a treatment light beam which is governed by the passage through this quartz crystal 45 and which is emitted at the level of the apex 23.

[0107] The cold light source 46 is advantageously chosen from lamps emitting cold white light, possibly having ultraviolet efficiency in the visible range and devoid of infrared.

[0108] The cold light source 46 advantageously has a low luminous efficiency, for example less than 90 lumens.

[0109] By “cold light” is meant light emitted by luminescence and advantageously by electroluminescence, for example by means of a light-emitting diode (LED).

[0110] By "white color" is meant a light whose spectrum covers uniformly, or at least approximately uniformly, the visible spectrum.

[0111] By "visible spectrum" or "optical spectrum" is meant the part of the electromagnetic spectrum visible to the human eye, that is to say a representation of all the monochromatic components of visible light.

[0112] This visible spectrum is in particular delimited by the wavelengths ranging from 380 nm to 780 nm, in a vacuum.

[0113] By "infrared-free" is meant in particular light devoid of electromagnetic rays whose wavelength is greater than that of visible light.

[0114] By “ultraviolet yield” is meant the possible presence of radiation having a wavelength of less than 380 nm, generally between 10 nm and 380 nm.

[0115] Generally speaking, the directional chamber 42 advantageously integrates an optical filter 47 which is implanted between the quartz crystal 45 and the cold light source 46.

[0116] The optical filter 47 is advantageously intended to define the color of the beam light treatment (advantageously by an absorption filtering phenomenon). Means of ordering

[0117] The control means 5 consist for example of a printed circuit on which there is a microcontroller associated with different input / output interfaces.

[0118] The microcontroller can be programmed to analyze and produce electrical signals, so as to perform very diverse tasks, from a custom-adapted computer program.

[0119] The control means 5 advantageously comprise first connection means 11, adapted for connection to a master processing device 10.

[0120] A master processing device 10 is for example illustrated in [Fig.5] and described in detail in document FR-3 045 392.

[0121] Generally speaking, the master processing device 10 advantageously comprises:

[0122] a) light means 10a comprising several light units 10al which are each intended to emit a treatment light beam having a predefined light spectrum,

[0123] b) sound means 10b, intended to diffuse sounds, and

[0124] c) control means 10c, for controlling and coordinating the operation of the light means 10a and the sound means 10b.

[0125] The light units 10al each comprise a body which delimits a directional chamber in which are attached:

[0126] - a quartz crystal, and

[0127] - means for producing a cold light beam intended to pass through said quartz crystal.

[0128] The body also comprises an opening at the level of which said treatment light beam is emitted, coming from said production means and governed by the passage of said quartz crystal.

[0129] The light units 10al are each adapted to be arranged so as to orient their respective openings opposite a point on the subject's body.

[0130] In this case, the treatment device 1 is advantageously located under the treatment table on which the subject rests.

[0131] The treatment device 1 can also be oriented on different points in reverse, or in opposition, to the subject's body.

[0132] The processing device 1 also advantageously comprises electronic connection means 12 adapted for connection to a human-machine interface (not shown), for example a portable electronic device, for controlling the control means 5. Plate

[0133] Preferably, the processing device 1 comprises a plate 8 which is provided with first symbols and which is crossed by the quartz crystal 45.

[0134] The treatment device 1 comprises mechanical connection means to a treatment table (not shown) comprising second symbols, identical to said first symbols.

[0135] By “mechanical connection means” is advantageously meant an elongated part, for example a metal cable, which is connected to the plate 8 and to the treatment table. Subject processing system

[0136] The present invention also advantageously relates to a system for treating a subject, comprising:

[0137] - the processing device 1 according to the invention,

[0138] - the aforementioned master processing device 10, and

[0139] - possibly the aforementioned treatment table. Implementation

[0140] The processing device 1 advantageously operates simultaneously with the master processing device 10, or independently of the master processing device 10.

[0141] It is operated according to a defined programming which, without being limited by any theory, allows:

[0142] - vibrational information by torsion field passing through the aforementioned treatment table for an action on the subject body, or

[0143] - vibration information by mechanical and torsion field on the treatment table aforementioned for an action on the subject body.

[0144] Of course, various other modifications may be made to the invention within the scope of the appended claims.
