Abstract
Description
Title of the invention: Spacer device for formwork panels and associated methods Technical field
[0001] The present invention relates to the field of construction formwork, and more particularly to formwork panels.
[0002] As illustrated in [Fig.l], in order to form a concrete wall, also called a "concrete wall", it is known to form a formwork with two formwork panels B10, B20, mounted opposite each other. In a known manner, each formwork panel B10, B20 comprises a formwork face F10, F20 intended to come into contact with the concrete. There is a front formwork panel B10 and a rear formwork panel B20 defined along an axis X which extends orthogonally relative to the formwork faces F10, F20 of the formwork panels B10, B20. The axis X extends on [Fig.l] from right to left, that is to say, from front to rear. In this document, the terms "front" and "rear" refer to a user positioned facing the front formwork panel B10.
[0003] With reference to [Fig.l], to obtain a concrete wall of the desired thickness, it is necessary to precisely adjust the spacing between the formwork faces F10, F20. For this purpose, it is known to place spacing cones 102 between said formwork faces F10, F20. Each spacing cone 102 has a length corresponding to the thickness of the concrete wall to be produced. In other words, it is necessary to have spacing cones 102 of different lengths in order to form walls of different thicknesses.
[0004] In a known manner, with reference to [Fig. 2], each formwork face F10, F20 of a formwork panel B10, B20 comprises a plurality of orifices 010, 020 which pass through it transversely. It is known to guide a spacer rod 101 in each through orifice 010, 020, so as to securely connect the formwork panels B10, B20. During a formwork operation, the spacer rod 101 penetrates the through orifice O10 of the front panel B10, then the spacing cone 102 and the through orifice 020 of the rear panel B20. In a known manner, each spacer rod 101 is tightened at its ends, for example by means of a nut 103, to constrain the formwork faces F10, F20 against the ends of the spacing cone 102 into which the spacer rod 101 is introduced.
[0005] When the concrete in a pasty state is introduced into the formwork, that is to say when the concrete is poured, the latter fills the formwork with the exception of the internal cavities 102c of the spacer cones 102 which are sealed.
[0006] After the concrete has dried and hardened, an operator can loosen the spacer rods 101 to remove them. A spacer rod 101 can be easily removed since it extends into the interior cavity 102c of a spacer cone 102 and is not in contact with the concrete. The formwork panels B10, B20 are then removed to reveal the wall.
[0007] However, the use of spacer cones 102 requires an operator to insert the spacer rod 101 into the front formwork panel B10 and then position the spacer cone 102 on standby on the spacer rod 101 between the two formwork panels B10, B20. For safety reasons, it is desirable to avoid an operator being positioned between the two formwork panels B10, B20. In addition, the positioning of the spacer cones 102 disrupts the installation of reinforcement between the formwork panels B10, B20.
[0008] The invention thus aims to eliminate at least some of these drawbacks by proposing a new type of spacer rod which makes it possible to do without the use of spacer cones and which can be used to form walls of different thicknesses. PRESENTATION OF THE INVENTION
[0009] The invention relates to a spacer device configured to be positioned between a front formwork panel, designated the introduction panel, and a rear formwork panel, designated the receiving panel, positioned opposite each other for the formwork of a wall, the introduction panel and the receiving panel each comprising a formwork face, the spacer device comprising: • A rod extending longitudinally along a rod axis oriented from front to rear, the rod comprising a first threaded end configured to be screwed into the receiving form and a second end configured to be manipulated by an operator from the introduction form, • At least one protective member mounted on the rod and configured to extend between the formwork faces, • At least one sealing member mounted on the rod in front of the protection member, • A compression member, integral with the rod and positioned in front of the sealing member, configured to compress the sealing member in order to ensure the sealing of the formwork face of the introduction formwork, • A stop member, integral with the rod and positioned in front of the compression member, configured to come into abutment against the introduction formwork so as to calibrate the compression applied to the sealing member by the compression member when screwing the rod.
[0010] The spacer device according to the invention makes it possible to directly plug the receiving orifice and the introduction orifice into which the rod is inserted. The use of a compressed sealing member makes it possible to ensure optimal sealing. Advantageously, the compression member makes it possible to compress the sealing member optimally to obtain the desired seal. The stop member makes it possible to limit the compression applied to the sealing member. The spacer device can thus be used in a practical manner with a motorized tightening tool such as a screwdriver or bolter. Advantageously, the thickness of the wall is not determined between the formwork faces as in the prior art but between the formwork face of the receiving formwork and a clamping wall of the introduction formwork, which goes against current practices.
[0011] Thanks to the invention, the spacer device can be put in place simply and quickly between the two formwork hips without requiring the prior installation of a spacer cone. It is therefore no longer necessary for an operator to position himself between the formwork hips and hold the spacer cone, which limits its difficulty. The spacer device can be put in place and removed by an operator from a front position. This is very advantageous when the receiving form is difficult to access, in particular, suspended from the introduction form. In addition, the spacer device can be put in place after the reinforcement between the hips.
[0012] Preferably, the protective member has a front diameter smaller than the diameter of the sealing member. Thus, the sealing member makes it possible to fill the mounting clearance between the protective member and the introduction orifice to ensure sealing.
[0013] Preferably, the compression member is spaced from the stop member by a longitudinal distance of between 15cm and 25cm, preferably between 18cm and 19cm. This makes it possible to precisely calibrate the compression on the sealing member. Preferably, this longitudinal distance corresponds substantially to the distance between the formwork face of the introduction formwork and the clamping wall of a spacer block of the introduction formwork.
[0014] Preferably, the protective member is removably mounted on the rod. This makes it possible to select a protective member of a length adapted to the thickness of the wall to be formed.
[0015] According to one aspect of the invention, the protective member comprises a main body of flared shape. This makes it easier to remove the protective member in a horizontal forward movement.
[0016] Preferably, the protective member comprises a locking element which locks the position of the main body towards the front. The protective member is thus mounted on the rod to facilitate its handling by an operator, any accidental loss is avoided.
[0017] The invention also relates to an assembly of a front formwork panel, designated the introduction panel, and a rear formwork panel, designated the receiving panel, positioned opposite each other for the formwork of a wall, the introduction panel and the receiving panel each comprising a formwork face, the formwork face of the introduction panel comprising at least one introduction orifice, the formwork face of the receiving panel comprising at least one receiving orifice aligned with the introduction orifice, the assembly comprising a spacer device, as presented previously, mounted in the receiving orifice and the introduction orifice, the protective member extending between the formwork faces.
[0018] The spacer device makes it possible to adjust the spacing between the formwork faces while adjusting the thickness of the wall to be formed and while absorbing the formwork forces.
[0019] Preferably, the introduction orifice has a diameter greater than the diameter of the receiving orifice. Thus, the protective member can be inserted from the introduction formwork while abutting against the formwork face of the receiving formwork.
[0020] Preferably, the introduction formwork comprising at least one spacer block associated with the introduction orifice, the spacer block comprises a clamping wall configured to cooperate with the stop member of the spacer device. Such a spacer block makes it possible to adjust the compression applied to the sealing member and to adjust the thickness. Advantageously, the thickness of the wall is not determined between the formwork faces as in the prior art but between the formwork face of the receiving formwork and the clamping wall of the introduction formwork, which goes against current practices.
[0021] Preferably, the clamping wall is offset from the formwork face of the introduction formwork by a distance of between 15cm and 25cm.
[0022] The invention also relates to a method for mounting a spacer device, as presented previously, between a front formwork panel, designated the introduction panel, and a rear formwork panel, designated the receiving panel, positioned opposite each other for the formwork of a wall, the introduction panel and the receiving panel each comprising a formwork face, the formwork face of the introduction panel comprising at least one introduction orifice, the formwork face of the receiving panel comprising at least one receiving orifice aligned with the introduction orifice, the method comprising steps consisting of: Insert the first threaded end of the rod into the insertion hole of the insertion form in a front to back movement, so as to successively pass through the introduction orifice and the receiving orifice, the protection member extending between the formwork faces, Screw the first threaded end into the receiving formwork so as to compress the sealing member with the compression member in order to ensure the sealing of the formwork face of the introduction formwork and Stop screwing when the stop member is in abutment against the introduction formwork so as to calibrate the compression applied to the sealing member by the compression member.
[0023] The invention further relates to a method for dismantling a spacer device, as presented previously, between a front formwork panel, designated the introduction panel, and a rear formwork panel, designated the receiving panel, positioned opposite each other for the formwork of a wall, the introduction panel and the receiving panel each comprising a formwork face, the formwork face of the introduction panel comprising at least one introduction orifice, the formwork face of the receiving panel comprising at least one receiving orifice aligned with the introduction orifice, the spacer device being in the receiving orifice and the introduction orifice, the protective member extending between the formwork faces, the method comprising steps consisting of: Unscrew the first threaded end of the rod, from the introduction form, so as to stop the compression of the sealing member by the compression member, Remove the rod successively from the receiving hole and the introduction hole by a backward to forward movement from the introduction plate. [0036] With reference to [Fig. 3], there is shown a front formwork panel, designated introduction panel B1, and a rear formwork panel, designated reception panel B2, positioned opposite each other for the formwork of a wall having a predetermined thickness EP.
[0037] Each formwork panel B1, B2 comprises a vertical wall PI, P2 comprising a formwork face F1, F2, intended to be arranged inside the formwork and to be in contact with the poured material, and an external face, respectively opposite the formwork face F1, F2. In this example, each formwork panel B1, B2 is defined in an orthogonal reference frame (X, Y, Z) in which the X axis extends horizontally from back to front, the Y axis extends laterally from right to left ([Fig.4]) and the Z axis extends vertically from bottom to top.
[0038] With reference to [Fig.4] and [Fig.5], the vertical wall PI of the introduction formwork B1 comprises in this example four introduction orifices 01 extending perpendicular to the plane (Y, Z) defined by the formwork face F1 to each receive a spacer device 1 according to the invention. It goes without saying that the number of introduction orifices 01 could be different. In particular, the introduction formwork B1 could comprise only two introduction orifices 01 in the low position. This is for example the case when the hips B1, B2 are equipped in the upper part with spacing devices.
[0039] Similarly, the vertical wall P2 of the receiving formwork B2 comprises in this example four receiving orifices O2 (not shown) extending perpendicular to the plane (Y, Z) defined by the formwork face F2. It goes without saying that the number of receiving orifices O2 could be different. In particular, the receiving formwork B2 could comprise only two receiving orifices O2 in the low position.
[0040] In this example, with reference to [Fig.5], the receiving orifices 02 have a standard diameter so as to allow the passage of a rod. For this purpose, each receiving orifice 02 is tapped. Preferably, each receiving orifice 02 has a diameter D2 of between 24mm and 35mm.
[0041] In this example, each introduction orifice 01 has a diameter DI which is greater than the diameter of a receiving orifice 02. Preferably, each introduction orifice 01 has a diameter DI between 40mm and 70mm.
[0042] As illustrated in Figures 4 and 5, the vertical wall PI of the introduction formwork B1 comprises a spacer block 10 mounted opposite each introduction orifice O1. With reference to [Fig.5], the spacer block 10 comprises a clamping wall 11 which extends parallel to the formwork face F1 and offset relative to the latter by a spacing distance E11 which is predetermined. Preferably, the spacing distance E11 is between 150mm and 250mm. Originally, the clamping wall 11 is used as a reference surface for adjusting the thickness of the wall to be formed.
[0043] The clamping wall 11 comprises a through opening 012 which is aligned along a longitudinal axis XE with the introduction orifice 01 associated with the spacer block 10. In this example, the through opening 012 has a diameter D12 which is greater than the diameter DI of the introduction orifice 01. Preferably, the through opening 012 has a diameter D12 of between 50mm and 100mm.
[0044] Preferably, the vertical wall P2 of the receiving panel B2 comprises a receiving block 20 mounted opposite each receiving orifice O2. With reference to [Fig. 5], the receiving block 20 comprises a receiving member 21, in particular, a threaded receiving nut for cooperating with a threaded end of a spacer rod. The receiving member 21 is aligned with a receiving orifice O2.
[0045] When connecting the formwork hips B1, B2 opposite each other, the introduction orifices O1 and reception orifices O2 are aligned along the longitudinal axis XE as illustrated in [Fig.5].
[0046] A spacer device 1 according to one embodiment of the invention will now be presented with reference to FIGS. 6 to 8.
[0047] The spacer device 1 comprises a rod 2 extending longitudinally along a rod axis T oriented from front to rear. The rod 2 comprises a first threaded end 2A (rear end) configured to be screwed into the formwork of reception B2 and a second end 2B (front end) configured to be handled by an operator from the introduction form B1. Preferably, the rod 2 is made of metal to take up the concreting forces. Preferably, the rod 2 has a length of between 500mm and 1000mm and a diameter of between 15mm and 32mm. In this example, only the end 2A is threaded but it goes without saying that the thread could extend over other portions of the rod 2.
[0048] The spacer device 1 further comprises at least one protective member 3 mounted on the rod 2 and configured to extend between the inner formwork faces F1, F2 of the formworks B1, B2. In this example, the protective member 3 has a conical shape that flares from the rear to the front so as to facilitate the removal of the spacer device 1 by translation towards the front along the rod axis T as will be presented later. The protective member 3 can be made of plastic.
[0049] With reference to [Fig.8], the protective member 3 has a length L3 which corresponds substantially to the desired spacing between the formwork panels B1, B2, that is to say, the thickness EP of the wall to be formed. The protective member 3 is removably mounted on the rod 2 so as to be able to adapt the thickness of the wall to be formed by using a protective member 3 having a suitable length L3. In practice, a front part of the protective member 3 extends in front of the formwork face F1, by a distance of the order of 6 mm.
[0050] In this example, the protection member 3 is made in two parts and comprises a main body 30, here flared, and a locking element 31 which locks the position of the main body 30 towards the rear. The locking element 31 is in the form of a threaded nut to retain the main body 30 during removal of the rod 2. It goes without saying that the protection member 3 could be made in a single piece or more than two pieces.
[0051] With reference to [Fig. 8], the protective member 3 has a rear diameter D31 (at its rear end) which is greater than the diameter D2 of the receiving opening 02 in order to come into abutment against the formwork face F2 during assembly ([Fig. 10]). The protective member 3 has a front diameter D32 (at its front end) which is less than the diameter DI of the introduction orifice 01 in order to be able to pass through the introduction formwork B1 and position itself between the two formworks B1, B2 ([Fig. 10]).
[0052] According to one aspect of the invention, the protection member 3 is radially deformable relative to the rod axis T. Also, it can have, at rest, a front diameter D32 which is greater than the diameter DI of the introduction orifice 01 and, in the stressed state, a front diameter D32 which is less than the diameter DI of the introduction orifice 01. Preferably, the protection member 3 deforms radially when it is introduced into the introduction form BL.
[0053] The spacer device 1 further comprises at least one sealing member 4 mounted on the rod 2 in front of the protection member 3 in order to ensure the sealing of the formwork face F1 of the insertion hip B1. In this example, with reference to FIGS. 6 to 8, two sealing members 4 are shown but it goes without saying that their number could be different. Each sealing member 4 is in the form of a washer, in particular made of elastomer, which can be compressed against the protection member 3 and against the face F1' opposite the formwork face F1 of the vertical wall P1 so as to close the insertion orifice O1. A sealing member 4 makes it possible in particular to close the annular mounting space resulting from the difference in diameters between the front diameter D32 of the protection member 3 and the diameter DI of the insertion orifice O1.Preferably, the vertical wall PI may comprise one or more intermediate pieces to allow optimal cooperation between a sealing member 4 and the opposite face Fl' to the formwork face Fl of the vertical wall PI.
[0054] Preferably, with reference to [Fig.8], the sealing member 4 has a diameter D4 which is greater than the diameter DI of the introduction orifice 01 in order to come into abutment against the opposite face F1' to the formwork face F1. The diameter D4 of the sealing member 4 is less than the diameter D12 of the through opening 012 of the clamping wall 11 of the spacer block 10 in order to be able to be introduced into the spacer block 10. Preferably, the sealing member 4 has a diameter D4 of between 50mm and 90mm. The sealing members 4 are preferably mounted in a removable manner so that they can be replaced in the event of wear.
[0055] In this example, an interface element 8 is mounted between the protection member 3 and the sealing members 4. The interface element 8 is configured to extend into the introduction orifice 02 and has a thickness substantially equal to that of the wall in which the introduction orifice 02 is formed. The interface element 8 has in this example a diameter equal to the front diameter D32 of the sealing member 3. According to one aspect, the interface element 8 is integral with the protection member 3 or with a sealing member 4. It makes it possible to separate the protection member 3, the length L3 of which is predetermined, from the sealing member 4 while taking into account the thickness of the wall PI, which makes it possible to respect the dimension chains.
[0056] Still with reference to Figures 6 to 8, the spacer device 1 further comprises at least one compression member 5, integral with the rod 2, configured to compress the sealing member 4 against the opposite face F1' of the formwork face F1 in order to ensure the sealing of the formwork face F1 of the introduction form BL. Preferably, the compression member 5 is welded to the rod 2 or made from the material of the latter.
[0057] Preferably, with reference to [Fig. 5], the compression member 5 comprises a diameter D5 which is less than the diameter D12 of the through opening 012 of the clamping wall 11 of the spacer block 10 in order to be able to be inserted into the spacer block 10. Preferably, with reference to [Fig.8], the compression member 5 has a diameter D5 of between 50mm and 90mm.
[0058] With reference to Figures 6 to 8, the spacer device 1 further comprises at least one stop member 6, integral with the rod 2 and positioned in front of the compression member 5, configured to come into abutment against the introduction form B1 so as to limit the screwing of the first end 2A. In particular, the stop member 6 is configured to come into abutment against the clamping wall 11 of the spacer block 10 of the introduction form B1. This advantageously makes it possible to limit the compression of the sealing members 4 by the compression member 5 and to adjust the thickness EP of the wall. Preferably, the stop member 6 is welded to the rod 2 or made from the material thereof.
[0059] Preferably, with reference to [Fig.8], the stop member 6 is spaced from the compression member 5 by a spacing distance L56 which is substantially equal to the spacing distance El 1 defined between the clamping wall 11 and the formwork face Fl.
[0060] With reference to Figures 6 to 8, the spacer device 1 further comprises a clamping member 7, integral with the rod 2 and positioned in front of the stop member 6 so as to rotate the rod 2 around its rod axis T to allow the screwing / unscrewing of the first end 2A. The clamping member 7 is preferably formed at the second end 2B.
[0061] In this example, the clamping member 7 is configured to cooperate with a clamping tool, for example, a tightening wrench or a screwdriver / bolter. Preferably, the clamping member 7 has a polygonal shape, in particular, hexagonal.
[0062] Preferably, the clamping member 7 is welded to the rod 2 or made from the latter's material. According to a preferred aspect, the clamping member 7 is integral in translation with the stop member 6 but is not integral in rotation. In other words, the clamping member 7 is mounted "loosely" relative to the stop member 6. This makes it possible to limit the clamping forces.
[0063] An example of implementation of a method for mounting a spacer device 1 will be presented with reference to FIGS. 9 and 10. In this example, the hips B1, B2 are positioned opposite each other and the receiving orifice O2 is aligned with the introduction orifice O1 along an axis XE.
[0064] In this example, the operator is located at the front of the introduction formwork B1 and no operator is positioned between the hips B1, B2. The protection member 3 has a length L3 corresponding substantially to the thickness EP of the wall to be formed. The blocking element 31 makes it possible to block the main body 30, which facilitates the handling of the spacer device 1.
[0065] The method comprises a step of introducing the first threaded end 2A of the rod 2 into the insertion orifice 01 of the insertion formwork B1 in a front-to-rear movement, so as to successively pass through the insertion orifice 01 and the receiving orifice 02 of the protective member 3 extending between the formwork faces F1, F2. During the introduction, the rod axis T of the spacer device 1 is aligned with the axis XE in the spacer block 10 and introduced into the through opening 012. The rear end 3A of the protective member 3 abuts against the formwork face F2 of the receiving formwork B2. The protective member 3 has a front diameter D32 smaller than the diameter DI of the insertion orifice 01 and there is a mounting clearance.
[0066] The method comprises a step consisting of screwing the first threaded end 2A into the receiving formwork B2 so as to compress the sealing member 4 with the compression member 5 in order to ensure the sealing of the formwork face F1 of the introduction formwork B1. The compression member 5 moves backwards during screwing and gradually compresses the sealing member 4 at the periphery of the introduction orifice O1, which makes it possible to ensure the sealing by filling the assembly clearance. During this step, the operator preferably uses a screwdriver or an electric bolter on the clamping member 7, which reduces its difficulty.
[0067] The method comprises a step consisting of stopping the screwing when the stop member 6 is in abutment against the introduction formwork B1, in particular against the clamping wall 11 of the spacer block 10, so as to calibrate the compression applied to the sealing member 4 by the compression member 5. Advantageously, the stop member 6 makes it possible to stop the compression and makes it possible to ensure that the wall to be formed has the correct thickness EP. In the stop position, it is no longer possible to tighten, which is practical for the operator.
[0068] Several spacer devices 1 are preferably positioned between the hips B1, B2 so that the wall to be formed has the correct thickness EP.
[0069] A hardening material such as concrete can then be injected into the formwork delimited by the formwork hips B1, B2. The rod 2 advantageously allows the concreting forces to be taken up. Once the concrete has set, the spacer devices 1 can be removed by an operator located at the front of the introduction form BL.
[0070] An example of implementation of a method for dismantling a spacer device 1 will be presented with reference to Figures 9 and 10. The method comprises a step consisting of unscrewing the first threaded end 2A of the rod 2, from the introduction form B1, so as to stop the compression of the sealing member 4 by the compression member 5. This step is preferably carried out by rotation of the front end 2B (clamping member 7) by means of a screwdriver. Due to its flared shape, the main body 30 of the protective member 3 can be conveniently removed by horizontal translation along the XE axis.
[0071] The method comprises a step of removing the rod 2 successively from the receiving orifice 02 and from the introduction orifice 01 by a backward to forward movement from the introduction hip Bl. Thus, an operator can carry out all the manipulations from the introduction hip Bl. This is more practical and increases safety. An operator is no longer forced to position himself between two hips or on the side of a hip located near the void.
