Abstract
Description
Title of the invention: MULTIFUNCTIONAL FOOD PREPARATION APPARATUS Technical field
[0001] The present invention relates generally to the field of food preparation appliances.
[0002] The present invention relates more particularly to food preparation appliances comprising a base forming a plinth configured to receive a working container and a head having a driver arranged above the base and configured to be coupled to a food processing tool extending into the working container. The present invention relates in particular, but not exclusively, to household food preparation appliances. State of the art
[0003] It is known to produce devices of the aforementioned type in which the driver is driven by a planetary movement. This arrangement makes it possible to produce multifunctional devices with interchangeable tools, which have mixing, blending and kneading performances which are satisfactory for several types of preparations.
[0004] A disadvantage of such devices, however, lies in the need to use a sophisticated transmission device to achieve the planetary movement of the driver.
[0005] It is known to produce devices of the aforementioned type in which the driver is simply driven in rotation about one axis, and in which the working container can be mounted mobile in rotation about another axis. Such devices can use a static counter-tool extending into the working container in addition to the food processing tool driven in rotation by the driver. Such embodiments make it possible to obtain satisfactory performance with a simpler construction.
[0006] Such devices are however dedicated to the production of a specific type of preparation, for example the production of a dough. A disadvantage of such devices lies in the fact that such devices are not very suitable for the production of different types of preparations. Summary of the invention
[0007] The present invention aims to remedy these drawbacks.
[0008] The technical problem underlying the invention consists in simplifying the construction of a multifunctional food preparation appliance comprising a base forming a plinth configured to receive a working container and a head having a dragger arranged above the base and configured to be coupled to a food processing tool extending into the work container.
[0009] To this end, the invention relates to a food preparation appliance comprising a base intended to rest on a work surface and a head mounted so as to be movable relative to the base, the base forming a base, the head having a driver arranged above the base, the driver being driven in rotation by a motor about a first axis of rotation, a working container mounted so as to be movable in rotation on the base about a second axis of rotation, the first axis of rotation being off-center relative to the second axis of rotation, a food processing tool coupled to the driver and extending into the working container, and a counter-tool extending into the working container, the counter-tool being able to occupy at least two distinct working positions in the working container,in which said food preparation appliance comprises an operating member configured to move the counter-tool between said at least two distinct working positions. These arrangements make it easier to carry out different types of preparations using a food preparation appliance having a simpler construction than that of appliances using a drive driven by a planetary movement. These arrangements make it possible in particular to bring the counter-tool closer or further away from a side wall of the working container.
[0010] The counter-tool can occupy several other working positions in the working container between said two distinct working positions. If desired, one or more working positions specific to a given type of preparation can be marked on the device.
[0011] The counter-tool can occupy at least one working position in the working container which is off-center relative to the second axis of rotation. This arrangement makes it possible to exert a greater effect on the preparation present in the working container.
[0012] The counter-tool can be moved in translation in the working container. This arrangement makes it possible to simplify the construction of the device.
[0013] The food preparation appliance may include several interchangeable food processing tools. This arrangement makes it easier to prepare different types of food.
[0014] The food preparation appliance may include several interchangeable counter-tools. This arrangement makes it easier to carry out different types of preparations.
[0015] The counter tool may form a spatula having a surface configured to deflect the preparation toward the food processing tool. This arrangement allows for more efficient mixing of the preparation.
[0016] The counter tool may form a scraper having a surface configured to divert the preparation from one side wall of the working container to the inside of the working container. This arrangement allows for more efficient mixing of the entire preparation.
[0017] According to one embodiment, the operating member is mounted movably on the head. This arrangement makes it possible to produce a device having a simple construction. This arrangement also makes it easier to use the device.
[0018] The operating member can be moved in translation relative to the head. This arrangement makes it possible to simplify the construction of the device.
[0019] The operating member can be arranged on a side face of the head. This arrangement makes it possible to simplify the construction of the device. This arrangement also makes it easier to use the device.
[0020] The counter-tool can be mounted removably relative to the operating member. This arrangement allows the use of different counter-tools.
[0021] According to another embodiment, the operating member can be formed on the counter-tool. This arrangement also makes it possible to produce a device having a simple construction.
[0022] The food preparation appliance may then comprise a cover arranged above the working container, the counter-tool being mounted movably in a receiving opening provided in the cover. This arrangement makes it possible to produce an appliance which is simple to produce and to use, and in which the risk of projections outside the working container is limited.
[0023] The counter-tool can be moved in translation in the receiving opening. This arrangement makes it possible to simplify the construction of the device.
[0024] The food preparation appliance may comprise a housing comprising the base and the head, in which the cover may be pivotally mounted relative to the housing. This arrangement allows access to the working container without having to raise the head.
[0025] The cover can be pivotally mounted relative to the head. This arrangement makes it possible to reduce the dimensions of the cover and to facilitate the production of a movable cover allowing easy access to the working container.
[0026] The counter-tool can be mounted to move transversely relative to a free end of the head extending above the working container. This arrangement makes it easier to use the device. Brief description of the figures

[0036] Only the elements necessary for understanding the invention have been shown.
[0037] Figures 1 to 4 illustrate a first exemplary embodiment of a food preparation appliance 100 according to the invention. The preparation appliance 100 comprises a base 111 intended to rest on a work surface and a head 115 mounted to move relative to the base 111. The base 111 forms a base 112. The head 115 has a driver 116 arranged above the base 112. The driver 116 is driven in rotation by a motor (not shown in the figures). The driver 116 is driven in rotation about a first axis of rotation 119.
[0038] The food preparation appliance 100 comprises a working container 120 mounted on the base 112. The working container 120 is mounted to rotate on the base 112 about a second axis of rotation 129. The first axis of rotation 119 is off-center relative to the second axis of rotation 129 when the food preparation appliance 100 occupies the operating position illustrated in FIGS. 2 and 3. According to one embodiment, the working container 120 can be mounted to rotate freely. The working container 120 can then be manually rotated by the user. According to another embodiment, the working container 120 can be rotated. The working container 120 can then be rotated by the aforementioned motor or by another motor.
[0039] In the embodiment illustrated in Figures 1 to 4, the first axis of rotation 119 and the second axis of rotation 129 are parallel. More particularly, the first axis of rotation 119 and the second axis of rotation 129 are perpendicular to the support plane of the base 112.
[0040] In the embodiment illustrated in Figures 1 to 4, the head 115 is pivotally mounted relative to the base 111. The head 115 is pivotally mounted between a raised position, illustrated in Figures 1 and 4, and a lowered position, illustrated in Figures 2 and 3. The lowered position of the head 115 corresponds to the operating position of the food preparation appliance 100 used for preparing food. When the head 115 occupies the raised position, the working container 120 can be placed on the base 112 or removed from the base 112. Alternatively, the head can in particular be slidably and / or removably mounted relative to the base, to move the head away from the base in order to place or remove the working container.
[0041] In the embodiment illustrated in Figures 1 to 4, the food preparation appliance 100 comprises a housing 110 comprising the base 111 and the head 115. The motor driving the drive 116 in rotation is arranged in the housing 110. The motor may in particular be arranged in the head 115 or in the base 111.
[0042] The food preparation appliance 100 comprises a cover 125 configured to cover the working container 120 in the operating position of the food preparation appliance 100, as shown in Figures 1 and 4. The cover 125 has a food introduction opening 127. The food introduction opening 127 may be configured to provide wide access to the working container 120. The cover 125 is advantageously made of transparent or translucent material, or advantageously comprises a portion made of transparent or translucent material.
[0043] In the embodiment illustrated in Figures 1 to 4, the cover 125 is carried by the head 115. Thus when the head 115 occupies the raised position, the cover 125 is also raised, as shown in Figures 1 and 4.
[0044] As shown in Figures 1 and 2, the food preparation appliance 100 comprises a food processing tool 130 coupled to the driver 116. The food processing tool 130 illustrated in Figures 1 and 2 is intended, for example, to produce preparations of the egg white type. As shown in [Fig. 2], the food processing tool 130 extends into the working container 120 when the head 115 occupies the lowered operating position of the food preparation appliance 100.
[0045] The food processing tool 130 is removable. When the head 115 occupies the raised position illustrated in [Fig.l], the food processing tool 130 can be placed on the driver 116 or removed from the driver 116.
[0046] As shown in Figures 3 and 4, the food preparation appliance 100 comprises a food processing tool 130' coupled to the driver 116. The food processing tool 130' illustrated in Figures 3 and 4 is intended for example to produce preparations of the bread dough type. As shown in [Fig.3], the food processing tool 130' extends into the working container 120 when the head 115 occupies the lowered operating position of the food preparation appliance 100.
[0047] The food processing tool 130' is removable. When the head 115 occupies the raised position illustrated in [Fig. 4], the food processing tool 130' can be placed on the driver 116 or removed from the driver 116.
[0048] The food preparation appliance 100 thus comprises two interchangeable food processing tools 130; 130'. If desired, the food preparation appliance 100 may comprise other interchangeable food processing tools. If desired, the food preparation appliance 100 may comprise more than two interchangeable food processing tools. Alternatively, the food preparation appliance 100 could comprise only one food processing tool.
[0049] As shown in Figures 1 and 2, the food preparation appliance 100 comprises a counter-tool 140 arranged laterally with respect to the food processing tool 130. As shown in [Fig. 2], the counter-tool 140 extends into the working container 120. The counter-tool 140 occupies a first working position in the working container 120 relatively central with respect to a side wall 121 of the working container 120.
[0050] As shown in Figures 3 and 4, the food preparation appliance 100 comprises a counter-tool 140' arranged laterally with respect to the food processing tool 130'. As shown in [Fig. 3], the counter-tool 140' extends into the working container 120. The counter-tool 140' occupies a second working position in the working container 120 closer to the side wall 121 of the working container 120. The first working position and the second working position are distinct.
[0051] The food preparation appliance 100 comprises an operating member 145 configured to carry one of the counter-tools 140; 140'. For this purpose, each of the counter-tools 140; 140' is removably mounted relative to the operating member 145. When the head 115 occupies the raised position, the counter-tool 140, 140' can be fixed to the operating member 145 or be removed from the operating member 145.
[0052] The culinary preparation appliance 100 thus comprises two counter-tools 140; 140 interchangeable. If desired, the food preparation appliance 100 may include more than two interchangeable counter-tools. Alternatively, the food preparation appliance 100 could include only one counter-tool.
[0053] The operating member 145 is configured to move the counter-tool 140; 140' mounted on the operating member 145 between the two aforementioned distinct working positions. In the exemplary embodiment illustrated in FIGS. 1 to 4, the operating member 145 can move said counter-tool 140; 140' to a third working position in which said counter-tool 140; 140' would be even closer to the side wall of the working container 120, such a configuration not being illustrated.
[0054] The working positions may be defined so that the counter-tool 140; 140' extends away from the side wall 121 of the working container 120, or so that the counter-tool 140; 140' can come into contact with said side wall 121 when said counter-tool has a deformable wall. The counter-tool 140; 140' may in particular form a spatula having a surface configured to deflect the preparation towards the food processing tool 130; 130', or a scraper having a surface configured to deflect the preparation close to the side wall 121 of the working container 120 towards the inside of the working container 120.
[0055] More particularly in the embodiment illustrated in Figures 1 to 4, the operating member 145 is mounted movably on the head 115. The operating member 145 is arranged on a lateral face 117 of the head 115. The operating member 145 is movable in translation relative to the head 115 between a first control position close to the free end of the head 115, shown in Figures 1 and 2 and a third control position (not shown) closer to an upright connecting the head 115 to the base 112 via a second intermediate control position shown in Figures 3 and 4.
[0056] The operating member 145 is configured to move said counter-tool between the two aforementioned distinct working positions. Thus, in the exemplary embodiment illustrated in FIGS. 1 to 4, the counter-tool 140; 140' carried by the operating member 145 is movable in translation in the working container 120. In other words, the counter-tool 140 illustrated in [Fig. 2] can be moved to the position of the counter-tool 140' illustrated in [Fig. 3], and vice versa. As shown in [Fig. 3], the counter-tool 140' occupies a working position in the working container 120 which is off-center relative to the second axis of rotation 129 of the working container 120. In the exemplary embodiment illustrated in FIGS. 1 to 4, the operating member 145 can move said counter-tool to a third working position in which said counter-tool would be even closer to the side wall 121 of the working container 120, such a configuration not being illustrated. Alternatively, the counter-tool 140; 140' carried by the operating member 145 could occupy several other working positions in the working container 120 between said two distinct working positions.
[0057] Figures 5 to 8 illustrate a second exemplary embodiment of a food preparation appliance 200 according to the invention. The food preparation appliance 200 comprises a base 211 intended to rest on a work surface and a head 215 mounted to move relative to the base 211. The base 211 forms a base 212, visible in Figures 7 and 8. The head 215 has a driver 216, visible in Figures 5 and 6. The driver 216 is arranged above the base 212. The driver 216 is driven in rotation by a motor (not shown in the figures). The driver 216 is driven in rotation about a first axis of rotation 219.
[0058] The food preparation appliance 200 comprises a working container 220 mounted on the base 212. The working container 220 is mounted to rotate on the base 212 about a second axis of rotation 229. The first axis of rotation 219 is off-center relative to the second axis of rotation 229 when the food preparation appliance 200 occupies the operating position illustrated in FIGS. 7 and 8. According to one embodiment, the working container 220 can be mounted to rotate freely. The working container 220 can then be manually rotated by the user. According to another embodiment, the working container 220 can be rotated. The working container 220 can then be rotated by the aforementioned motor or by another motor.
[0059] In the embodiment illustrated in Figures 5 to 8, the first axis of rotation 219 and the second axis of rotation 229 are parallel. More particularly, the first axis of rotation 219 and the second axis of rotation 229 are perpendicular to the support plane of the base 212.
[0060] In the embodiment illustrated in Figures 5 to 8, the head 215 is pivotally mounted relative to the base 211. The head 215 is pivotally mounted between a raised position, illustrated in Figures 5 and 6, and a lowered position, illustrated in Figures 7 and 8. The lowered position of the head 215 corresponds to the operating position of the food preparation appliance 200 used for preparing food. When the head 215 occupies the raised position, the working container 220 can be placed on the base 212 or removed from the base 212. Alternatively, the head can in particular be mounted sliding and / or removable relative to the base, to move the head away from the base in order to place or remove the working container.
[0061] In the embodiment illustrated in Figures 5 to 8, the food preparation appliance 200 comprises a housing 210 comprising the base 211 and the head 215. The motor driving the driver 216 in rotation is arranged in the housing 210. The motor may in particular be arranged in the head 215 or in the base 211.
[0062] The food preparation appliance 200 comprises a cover 225 configured to cover the working container 220 in the operating position of the food preparation appliance 200, as shown in FIGS. 7 and 8. The cover 225 has a food introduction opening 227. The food introduction opening 227 may be configured to provide wide access to the working container 220. The cover 225 is advantageously made of transparent or translucent material, or advantageously comprises a portion made of transparent or translucent material.
[0063] In the embodiment illustrated in Figures 5 to 8, the cover 225 is pivotally mounted relative to the housing 210. More particularly, the cover 225 is pivotally mounted relative to the head 215. Thus the cover 225 can be raised or lowered independently of the head 215.
[0064] As shown in Figures 5 and 7, the food preparation appliance 200 comprises a food processing tool 230 coupled to the driver 216. The processing tool 230 illustrated in Figures 5 and 7 is intended, for example, to produce preparations of the egg white type. As shown in [Fig. 7], the food processing tool 230 extends into the working container 220 when the head 215 occupies the working position.
[0065] The food processing tool 230 is removable. When the head 215 occupies the raised position illustrated in [Fig. 5], the food processing tool 230 can be placed on the driver 216 or removed from the driver 216.
[0066] As shown in Figures 6 and 8, the food preparation appliance 200 comprises a food processing tool 230' coupled to the driver 216. The processing tool 230' illustrated in Figures 6 and 8 is intended for example to produce preparations of the bread dough type. As shown in [Fig.8], the food processing tool 130' extends into the working container 120 when the head 215 occupies the lowered operating position of the food preparation appliance 200.
[0067] The food processing tool 230' is removable. When the head 215 occupies the raised position illustrated in [Fig. 8], the food processing tool 230' can be placed on the driver 216 or removed from the driver 216.
[0068] The food preparation appliance 200 thus comprises two interchangeable food processing tools 230; 230'. If desired, the food preparation appliance 200 may comprise other interchangeable food processing tools. If desired, the food preparation appliance 200 may comprise more than two interchangeable food processing tools. Alternatively, the food preparation appliance 200 could comprise only one food processing tool.
[0069] As shown in Figures 5 and 7, the food preparation appliance 200 comprises a counter-tool 240 arranged laterally relative to the food processing tool 230.
[0070] As shown in Figures 6 and 8, the food preparation appliance 200 comprises a counter-tool 240' arranged laterally relative to the food processing tool 230'.
[0071] As best seen in Figures 7 and 8, the cover 225 has a receiving opening 226. The receiving opening 226 is configured to receive the counter tool 240 or the counter tool 240'. The counter tool 240 and the counter tool 240' are removable from the cover 225.
[0072] The culinary preparation appliance 200 thus comprises two counter-tools 240; 240 interchangeable. If desired, the food preparation appliance 200 may include more than two interchangeable counter-tools. Alternatively, the food preparation appliance 200 could include only one counter-tool.
[0073] The counter-tool 240; 240' mounted in the receiving opening 226 comprises a lower part 241; 241' extending into the working container 220 and an upper part 242; 242' extending above the cover 225, this upper part 242; 242' forming an operating member 245; 245' configured to be manipulated by the user, as well as a retaining member 243; 243' configured to bear on the cover 225. Thus the operating member 245; 245' is formed on the counter-tool 240; 240'.
[0074] More particularly in the embodiment illustrated in Figures 5 to 8 the counter-tool 240; 240' is movable in translation in the receiving opening 226 by means of the operating member 245; 245'. Thus the counter-tool 240; 240' is movable in translation in the working container 220 when the head 215 occupies the lowered operating position of the food preparation appliance 200 shown in Figures 7 and 8. The receiving opening 226 is arranged transversely relative to a free end of the head 215. Thus the counter-tool 240; 240' is mounted to move transversely relative to the free end of the head 215 extending above the working container 220, as shown in Figures 7 and 8. The retaining member 243; 243' bears against an external rib 228 of the receiving opening 226. The external rib 228 extends outside the working container 220. The receiving opening 226 extends at a distance from the second axis of rotation 229. Thus the counter-tool 240; 240' can occupy in the working container 220 at least one working position which is off-center relative to the second axis of rotation 229.
[0075] As shown in [Fig.7], the counter tool 240 extends into the working container 220. The counter tool 240 occupies a first working position in the working container 220 relatively central with respect to a side wall 221 of the working container 220.
[0076] As shown in [Fig.8], the counter tool 240' extends into the working container 220. The counter tool 240' occupies a second working position in the working container 220 closer to the side wall 221 of the working container 220. The first working position and the second working position are distinct.
[0077] The working positions may be defined so that the counter-tool 240; 240' extends away from the side wall 221 of the working container 220, or so that the counter-tool 240; 240' can come into contact with said side wall 221 when said counter-tool has a deformable wall. The counter-tool 240; 240' may in particular form a spatula having a surface configured to deflect the preparation towards the food processing tool 230; 230', or a scraper having a surface configured to deflect the preparation close to the side wall 221 of the working container 220 towards the inside of the working container 220.
[0078] The food preparation appliance 100 according to the first exemplary embodiment illustrated in FIGS. 1 to 4 is used and operates in the following manner.
[0079] The user raises the head 115 to mount on the driver 116 a food processing tool 130; 130' adapted to the type of preparation to be carried out. The user can also mount on the operating member 145 a counter-tool 140; 140' adapted to the type of preparation to be carried out. The user then lowers the head 115 to place the selected food processing tool 130; 130' and the counter-tool 140; 140' in the working container 120. The user can then place the operating member 145 in a control position corresponding to the desired working position for the counter-tool 140; 140'. The rotation of the food processing tool 130; 130' along the first axis of rotation 119 of the driver 116 separate from the second axis of rotation 129 of the working container 120 makes it possible to achieve a more homogeneous mixture than with a simple rotation of the food processing tool 130; 130'.The presence of the counter-tool 140; 140' makes it possible to improve the efficiency of the mixing operation. The movable nature of the counter-tool 140; 140' in the working container 120 further makes it possible to improve the efficiency of the mixing operation. The user can select the desired working position of the counter-tool 140; 140' by choosing the corresponding control position of the operating member 145. When the preparation produced is not too viscous and / or too sticky, the user can consider moving the counter-tool 140; 140' while the preparation is being carried out, for example to prevent the formation of a ball of dough, or to collect the preparation extending over the side wall 121 of the working container 120.
[0080] The culinary preparation appliance 200 according to the second exemplary embodiment illustrated in FIGS. 5 to 8 is used and operates in the following manner.
[0081] The user raises the head 215 to mount on the driver 216 a food processing tool 230; 230' adapted to the type of preparation to be carried out. The user then lowers the head 115 to place the selected food processing tool 130; 130' in the working container 120. The user lowers the cover 225 onto the working container 220 to introduce the counter-tool 240; 240' adapted to the type of preparation to be carried out in the receiving opening 226 of the cover 225. The retaining member 243; 243' then bears against the external rib 228 of the receiving opening 226 of the cover 225. Thus the operating member 245; 245' remains outside the cover 225 while the lower part 241; 241' of the counter tool 240; 240' extends into the work container 220.The user can then place the operating member 245; 245' of the counter-tool 240; 240' in the control position corresponding to the desired working position for the counter-tool 240; 240'. The rotation of the food processing tool 230; 230' along the first axis of rotation 219 of the driver 216 distinct from the second axis of rotation 229 of the working container 220 makes it possible to achieve a more homogeneous mixture than with a simple rotation of the food processing tool 230; 230'. The presence of the counter-tool 240; 240' makes it possible to improve the efficiency of the mixing operation. The movable nature of the counter-tool 240; 240' in the working container 220 makes it possible to further improve the efficiency of the mixing operation. The user can select the working position of the counter-tool 240; 240' by selecting the control position of the operating member 245; 245'.When the preparation produced is not too viscous and / or too sticky, the user may consider moving the counter-tool 240; 240' while the preparation is being produced, for example to prevent the formation of a ball of dough or to collect the preparation extending over the side wall 221 of the working container 220.
[0082] These arrangements make it possible to obtain culinary preparation appliances 100; 200 adapted to carrying out different types of preparation implementing an operation of mixing different ingredients, with a good quality of result, while using a simpler construction than those of the appliances implementing a food processing tool driven by a planetary movement.
[0083] Various modifications and / or improvements obvious to those skilled in the art may be made to the embodiments of the invention described herein. description as long as it does not depart from the scope of the invention defined by the claims.
