Preferably, the vehicle tail light 4 comprises a main support 28 adapted to hold the first light segment, the second light segment and the additional light segment 12, 14, 16 on the hollow structure 8. For example, the main support 28 is connected to the mechanical structure 22 of the additional light segment 16. The main support 28 may also hold the motor 10 of the vehicle taillight 4 on the hollow structure 8.
[0029] The motor 10 of the vehicle taillight 4 can move the first and second light segments 12, 14 inside the hollow structure 8 along the direction from the rear surface 18 of the hollow structure 8 to the front surface 20 of the hollow structure 8. This movement improves the appearance of the vehicle taillight 4 and can indicate the movement of the motor vehicle 2. The aesthetic effect of the vehicle taillight 4 can make a driver who sees the vehicle taillight 4 more attentive. For example, the motor 10 can move the first and second light segments 12, 14 when the motor vehicle 2 is moving and immobilize the first and second light segments 12, 14 when the motor vehicle 2 is stopped.
[0030] Optionally, the motor 10 comprises a stepper motor provided with a threaded rod 30, the mechanical structure 22 of the first light segment 12 comprising a complementary thread 32. [0032] In another embodiment, the second light segment 14 comprises the first connection member 40, the first light segment 12 comprising the first rail 34.
[0033] When the first light segment 12 is moved by the motor 10 of the vehicle tail light 4 from the rear surface 18 to the front surface 20, the first connecting member 40 moves inside the first rail 34 from the first rear stop 38 to the first front stop 36. When the first connecting member 40 comes into contact with the first front stop 36, the first connecting member 40 sets the second light segment 14 in motion. Preferably, the additional light segment 16 comprises a second rail 42 provided with a second front stop 44 and a second rear stop 46, the mechanical structure 22 of the second light segment 14 comprising a second connecting member 48 connected to the second rail 42. When the second light segment 14 is moved by the first light segment 12 from the rear surface 18 to the front surface 20, the second connecting member 48 moves inside the second rail 42 from the second rear stop 46 to the second front stop 44 which limits the movement of the second light segment 14 inside the hollow structure 8.
[0034] The first and second light segments 12, 14 are shown in a first extreme position in [Fig. 2], the first connection member 40 being in contact with the first rear stop 38, the second connection member 48 being in contact with the second rear stop 46.
[0035] The first and second light segments 12, 14 are shown in a second extreme position in [Fig. 3], the first connection member 40 being in contact with the first front stop 36, the second connection member 48 being in contact with the second front stop 44.
[0036] In the second extreme position, the first and second light segments 12, 14 are on different planes, said different planes being orthogonal to the direction of movement of the first and second light segments 12, 14.
[0037] Advantageously, the first front and rear stops 36, 38 and the second front and rear stops 44, 46 each comprise a magnet to avoid shaking the first and second light segments 12, 14 during their movements.
