Description

Title of the invention: Tool storage system technical field

[0001] The present invention relates to the field of storage in workshops.

[0002] The present invention relates more particularly to a storage system tools. Previous technique

[0003] To ensure their proper functioning, production or maintenance workshops must be properly organized. In particular, the various tools must be stored in a suitable location so that operators can find them easily and to ensure good working conditions and avoid wasting time.

[0004] Currently, the foam tray is practically the only solution around which the storage of tools is organised in a workshop.

[0005] This is a proven solution, but it has a number of drawbacks: delivery times are long; the positions are final and the cost is high.

[0006] In theory, foams form a very good support. However, in practice, their rigid nature clashes with a need for flexibility.

[0007] As the storage foams are used, some spaces become unused or unusable and end up being used as catch-alls, or are cut out by hand.

[0008] Furthermore, the storage foams do not allow for detailed marking of the references. Description of the invention

[0009] The invention aims to remedy the disadvantages of the prior art by proposing an alternative solution to storage foams in the organization of a workshop, which is simple to implement, instantaneous, modular and with more precise referencing.

[0010] For this purpose, the invention relates to an element for storing tools, comprising a body having a recess suitable for receiving a screw, as well as at least two elements positioned vertically along said body, said body being made of a harder material than said elements positioned vertically along said body.

[0011] The difference in hardness of the materials allows the tool to be properly held under pressure.

[0012] According to one embodiment, said elements positioned vertically along said body are brightly colored to facilitate the positioning of said tools.

[0013] Advantageously, said body is suitable for receiving a closing piece on its part superior.

[0014] According to one embodiment, said body is made of one of the following materials: polypropylene (PP), glycolized polyethylene terephthalate (PETG), acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS).

[0015] Advantageously, said body comprises a non-slip lower part.

[0016] According to a particular embodiment, said tool storage element further comprises a complementary lifting element.

[0017] The present invention also relates to a system for storing tools, comprising a plurality of previously mentioned elements for storing tools, as well as a tray.

[0018] According to one embodiment, said tray is covered with a thin, soft layer.

[0019] According to one embodiment, said tray is made of one of the materials following: polyvinyl chloride (PVC), composite, high-density polyethylene (HDPE), Trespa (registered trademark), phenolic (compact laminate or HPL), sandwich composite, wood, wood particles. [0030] The present invention relates to an element 100 for tool storage, and to a system 200 for tool storage, comprising a plurality of elements 100 for tool storage and a tray 210.

[0031] More particularly, the present invention relates to a tool storage element 100, comprising a body 110 having a recess adapted to receive a screw, as well as at least two elements 120, 130 positioned vertically along said body 110, said body 110 being made of a harder material than said elements 120, 130 positioned vertically along said body (110).

[0032] The difference in hardness of the materials allows the tool to be properly held under pressure.

[0033] Element 100 for tool storage according to the invention can be seen in Figures IA, IB, IC, 2A and 2B.

[0034] The [Fig. 1 A] is a right-side view of the element according to the present invention.

[0035] Fig. IB is a front view of the element according to the present invention.

[0036] Fig. IC is a left view of the element according to the present invention.

[0037] Fig. 1D is a top view of the element according to the present invention.

[0038] Fig. 2A is an isometric view of the element according to the present invention.

[0039] Fig. 2B is an isometric view of the element according to the present invention.

[0040] These Figures show the element 100 with its body 110 and the two elements 120 and 130 positioned vertically along the body 110.

[0041] Fig. 3 is a cross-sectional view with screws of the element according to the present invention.

[0042] There are different sizes of elements 100 in order to allow for proper storage of all tools present in a workshop.

[0043] In one embodiment, said elements 120, 130 positioned vertically along said body 110 are brightly colored to facilitate the positioning of said tools.

[0044] This color, for example red, blue or yellow, is intended to indicate the inside of the tool placement area.

[0045] In one embodiment, said body 110 is able to receive a closing piece on its upper part.

[0046] In one embodiment, said body 110 is made of one of the following materials: polypropylene (PP), glycolized polyethylene terephthalate (PETG), acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS).

[0047] The body 110 is made of a harder material than said elements 120, 130 positioned vertically along said body (110).

[0048] In one embodiment, said body 110 comprises a non-slip lower part.

[0049] In one embodiment, said tool storage element (100) further comprises a complementary lifting element (140). This element is superimposed to provide vertical support in case a tool cannot lie flat. There is a corresponding model for each type of element 100.

[0050] Fig. 4 illustrates different elements according to the present invention, of different sizes.

[0051] Figure 4 also shows elements 100 comprising two elements 120, 130 positioned vertically along said body 110 as well as elements 100 comprising four elements 120, 130 positioned vertically along said body 110. In this last configuration, we have an alignment of tools.

[0052] The present invention also relates to a system 200 for tool storage, comprising a plurality of elements 100 for tool storage as previously mentioned, as well as a tray 210.

[0053] Fig. 5 represents the system according to the present invention, with a tray and a plurality of elements.

[0054] Fig. 6 illustrates the system of Fig. 5, with a plurality of tools.

[0055] Figure 6 shows the very good tool storage capacity offered by the present invention.

[0056] In one embodiment, said tray 210 is covered with a thin, soft layer.

[0057] In one embodiment, said tray 210 is made of one of the following materials: polyvinyl chloride (PVC), composite, high-density polyethylene (HDPE), Trespa (registered trademark), phenolic (compact laminate or HPL), sandwich composite, wood, wood particles.

[0058] The system according to the present invention has the following advantages: - It is simple and quick to set up; - It does not have any waiting periods, unlike personalized foams; - It allows for more detailed referencing; - It is modular; - It offers a truly advantageous cost.

[0059] We detail below the implementation of the invention:

[0060] Initially, as with the foam supports, the tool positions must be determined beforehand. It is not necessary to mark the position on paper or on the foam before placing the order. Next, the element 100 is screwed onto the plate 210, then the closing piece is placed on the upper part of the element 100, and a marking is made on the plate 210 near the element.

[0061] If a change is necessary, the old holes can be filled using a silicone kit. An adhesive kit can also be useful for more securely fixing element 100 to the plate 210.

[0062] The system according to the present invention also incorporates accessories: a set of screws, washers and closing parts.
