Abstract
Description
Title of the invention: Door lock
[0001] The invention relates to a door lock and a method for detecting an attempted break-in using this lock.
[0002] A door lock is known from application DE3913204A1. This lock comprises an anti-drill pad present in front of the key channel entrance of the lock cylinder rotor. Thus, this lock is robust against break-in attempts by drilling the cylinder rotor. In addition, this lock is advantageous in that it comprises a break-in attempt detection device capable of detecting a break-in attempt by drilling the cylinder rotor. For this purpose, the break-in detection device comprises conductive tracks which are damaged when the rotor is drilled. It is the damage to these conductive tracks which triggers the signaling of a break-in attempt. Such a break-in detection device is reliable in the sense that there are very few false positives.
[0003] However, the attempted break-in is detected late, that is to say at a time when the cylinder is already seriously damaged.
[0004] The invention aims to remedy this drawback by proposing a lock equipped with a device for detecting attempted break-ins which has the same advantages while allowing faster detection of an attempted break-in by drilling the cylinder rotor.
[0005] The subject of the invention is a door lock comprising:
[0006] - a lock cylinder comprising:
[0007] - a fixed stator,

[0025] - the anti-drill pad has a rim capable of coming directly into contact with the support face of the protective part when the anti-drill pellet is pushed towards the inside of the lock.
[0026] 3) the lock comprises an external armor capable of being mounted on an external face of the door located on the side opposite its inner face, this external armor comprising:
[0027] - a front plate intended to rest on the outer face of the door when the lock is mounted on the door, this front plate having an opening through which the anti-drill pellet is accessible from the outside of the lock,
[0028] - a rear tubular portion mounted, sliding along the axis of rotation, around the protective part, this tubular portion being fixed on the rear plate using screws that extend parallel to the axis of rotation.
[0029] 4) the break-in attempt detection module is configured to, when the existence of an attempted break-in is not established while, at the same time, a predetermined number of complete turns of the anti-drill pellet is detected, trigger the signaling of a normal unlocking or a normal locking of the lock using the cylinder.

[0070] In these figures, the same references are used to designate the same elements. In the remainder of this description, the characteristics and functions well known to those skilled in the art are not described in detail.
[0071] In this description, detailed examples of embodiments are first described in a chapter I with reference to the figures. Then, in a chapter II, variants of these embodiments are introduced. Finally, the advantages of the different embodiments are specified in a chapter III.
[0072] Chapter I: Example of embodiment
[0073] [Fig.l] represents a system 2 for controlling access to a home. The system 2 ensures that an unauthorized person cannot enter the home or can do so with great difficulty. Subsequently, for example, the person authorized to enter the home is the owner. For this purpose, system 2 includes:
[0074] - an entrance door 4,
[0075] - a remote terminal 6 intended to be used by the owner, and
[0076] - an electronic lock 8 mounted on the door 4.
[0077] Subsequently, the lock 8 is described in the particular case where it is a strip of door. Therefore, the numerical reference 8 is also used to designate the door strip.
[0078] Door 4 is located at the entrance to the home. This door 4 delimits the interior of the home from the exterior of the home. Hereinafter, the terms "interior" and "exterior" are used to designate what is located, respectively, inside and outside the home. For example, door 4 is a landing door of an apartment or a house or any other dwelling. Door 4 has an interior face facing the interior of the home and, on the opposite side, an exterior face. The interior and exterior faces extend mainly in parallel vertical planes. Door 4 is movable between an open position, shown in [Fig.l], and a closed position. In the open position, a person can enter the interior of the home and therefore move from outside the home to the interior. Conversely, in the closed position, a person cannot enter the home.
[0079] Terminal 6 is for example located outside the home and may be several kilometers away from the home. To simplify [Fig.l], only one terminal 6 is shown. However, in practice, there are often several examples of terminal 6 which operate in the same way. Only terminal 6 is described in more detail below.
[0080] The terminal 6 is capable of establishing videophone communication with a person located on the outside of the door 4. It is also capable of sending an unlocking command to the strip 8. For this, it comprises:
[0081] - a memory 16 comprising the data and instructions necessary for its functioning,
[0082] - a microprocessor 18 capable of executing the instructions recorded in the memory 16,
[0083] - a human-machine interface 20, and
[0084] - a transceiver 22.
[0085] The interface 20 comprises, for example, one or more buttons that can be operated by the owner. Here, it comprises in particular a button 26 for triggering the sending of the unlocking command.
[0086] The transceiver 22 makes it possible to connect the terminal 6 to the strip 8 via a long-distance telecommunications network 28 such as a wireless telephone network or the Internet network.
[0087] Terminal 6 is, for example, the owner's smartphone.
[0088] The strip 8 is a multi-point door strip. The strip 8 is mounted, without no degree of freedom, on the inner face of door 4.
[0089] The strip 8 is in the form of a single piece inside which are housed the various components described with reference to [Fig.2]. For this purpose, the strip 8 is in the form of a rigid housing 30 inside which its various components are fixed. The housing 30 is here fixed along the vertical edge of the door 4 located on the side opposite the hinges. The housing 30 is fixed to the inner face of the door 4, for example, using screws. Thus, advantageously, the strip 8 can be installed on the inner face of a pre-existing door.
[0090] In [Fig.l], only the components of the strip 8 which protrude from the housing 30 on the inner side or cross the vertical edge of this housing 30 are visible. Thus, only the following components of the strip 8 are visible in [Fig.l]:
[0091] - a 36 half-turn bolt,
[0092] - a handle 38,
[0093] - deadbolts 42,
[0094] - a touch screen 44, and
[0095] - a lock cylinder 46.
[0096] The bolt 36 is movable by the handle 38 from an extended position (shown in [Fig.l]) to a retracted position. The bolt 36 is permanently pushed back to an extended position by a return spring. The distal end of the bolt 36 is beveled so that when the door 4 is slammed from its open position to its closed position, by shape cooperation between the beveled end and an upright 40, the bolt 36 sinks inside the housing 30 against the force of the return spring in order to allow the door 4 to reach its closed position. The upright 40 is fixed, without any degree of freedom, on the frame of the door 4.
[0097] Each of the deadbolts 42 is movable between an extended position and a retracted position. In the extended position, each bolt 42 is received in a corresponding cavity provided in the jamb 40 to lock the door 4 in its closed position. In its retracted position, each bolt 42 is retracted inside the housing 30 and located outside the cavity provided in the jamb 40. Thus, when all the bolts 42 are in their retracted position, the door 4 is unlocked and can be freely moved from its closed position to its open position after pressing the handle 38. Here, the strip comprises at least five bolts 42.
[0098] In [Fig.l], four deadbolts 42 are shown in their extended position to make them more visible even if the door 4 is in its open position. For example, each bolt 42 is a cylindrical bar that can be moved in translation between its extended and retracted positions. Unlike the bolt 36, the distal ends of the bolts 42 are not beveled.
[0099] The touch screen 44, the lock cylinder 46 and the reading head 48 are accessible by a person located inside the home.
[0100] [Fig.l] also represents an orthogonal XYZ reference frame. The Z direction of this reference frame corresponds to the vertical. The X and Y directions are horizontal. The X direction is parallel to the vertical plane in which the door 4 mainly extends when it is in its closed position. The X direction is directed from the edge of the door along which the strip 8 is fixed, towards the hinges of this door. The Y direction is directed from the inside of the home to the outside of the home. Terms such as "front" and "rear" are defined with respect to the Y direction.
[0101] [Fig.2] schematically represents the interior architecture of the strip 8 as well as various elements connected to this strip 8.
[0102] The strip 8 comprises, mainly housed inside the housing 30, a bolt mechanism 50 and a system 52 for actuating the mechanism 50.
[0103] The mechanism 50 includes the bolts 42 as well as the linkage necessary to move them between their extended and retracted positions. On the other hand, in this embodiment, the mechanism 50 does not include the bolt 36.
[0104] The actuating system 52 moves the mechanism 50 from a protruding state to a retracted state and vice versa. In the protruding state, at least one bolt 42 is in its extended position. Here, in the protruding state, all the bolts 42 are in their extended position. In the retracted state, all the bolts 42 are in their retracted position. For this purpose, for example, the system 52 comprises a toothed wheel meshed with a rack of the bolt mechanism 50. When this toothed wheel rotates, in a first direction, this moves the mechanism 50 from its protruding state to its retracted state. When this same toothed wheel rotates in the opposite direction, this moves the mechanism 50 from the retracted state to its protruding state. In this embodiment, the system 52 does not allow the bolt 36 to be moved. The bolt 36 can only be moved using the handle 38.
[0105] To move the mechanism 50 between its protruding and retracted states, the system 52 comprises an electric motor 60 and the cylinder 46.
[0106] The cylinder 46 makes it possible in particular to move the mechanism 50 from its protruding state to its retracted state even in the event of unavailability of the electric motor 60. The motor 60 is said to be "unavailable" when it cannot be used to move the mechanism 50 from its protruding state to its retracted state. Such unavailability may result from a failure of the motor 60 or another element of the actuation system 52. This unavailability may also result, for example, from a cut in the electrical power supply to the motor 60.
[0107] In this embodiment, the cylinder 46 is a mechanical cylinder devoid of any electronic component that requires power to operate. Here, the cylinder 46 is a mechanical cylinder in European format. In this embodiment, it comprises an inner half-cylinder and an outer half-cylinder 61 ([Fig.3]) accessible, respectively, from the inner and outer sides of the door 4. Thus, the cylinder 46 can be used both from the outer side of the door 4 and from its inner side. For this, the strip 8 comprises a housing passing right through the housing 30 in the Y direction and into which the inner half-cylinder of the cylinder 46 is inserted. This housing is located opposite a hole passing through the door 4 in the Y direction and into which the outer half-cylinder 61 of the cylinder 46 is inserted. The mounting of the outer half-cylinder 61 in the door 4 is described in detail in the following figures.Conventionally, the cylinder 46 is only fixed, without any degree of freedom, to the door 4 using a screw whose screw head is only accessible from the vertical edge of the door 4 or the housing 30.
[0108] The cylinder 46 comprises a rotor 62 rotatably mounted inside a fixed stator 64. The stator 64 is fixed, without any degree of freedom, to the door 4. The rotor 62 comprises a key channel 66 which opens on the inside and outside. This channel 66 is intended to receive a key. The rotor 62 can be rotated about an axis 63 (Figures 3 to 5, 7 and 8) of rotation only when an authorized key is inserted inside the channel 66 and then turned. An authorized key is a key authorized to move the mechanism 50 to its retracted state. Conversely, in the absence of a key inside the channel 66 or in the presence of an unauthorized key inside the channel 66, the rotor 62 is blocked in rotation and cannot rotate about its axis 63 of rotation.
[0109] Typically, for this purpose, the cylinder 46 comprises a first set of pins that can be moved in translation inside the stator 64 and, opposite, a second set of pins that can be moved in translation inside the rotor 62 by the key inserted into the channel 66. The pins of the first set are also known as "counter pins". When an authorized key is inserted inside the channel 66, the interfaces between the pins of the first and second sets of pins are all located at the interface between the rotor 62 and the stator 64, which releases rotation of the rotor 62. The interface between the rotor 62 and the stator 64 is also known as the "break line".Conversely, in the absence of a key in the channel 66 or in the presence of an unauthorized key, the interfaces between the pins of the first and second sets of pins are not all located at the interface between the rotor 62 and the stator 64, which prohibits rotation of the rotor 62.
[0110] The cylinder 46 also includes a bit 68. The bit 68 is rotated by the rotor 62 when this rotor rotates. It is the rotation of this bit 68 which activates the movement of the mechanism 50 towards its retracted state.
[0111] The motor 60 comprises a drive shaft 70. When the motor 60 is controlled to move the mechanism 50 to its retracted state, it is the rotation of the shaft 70 which actuates the movement of the mechanism 50.
[0112] The system 52 comprises an output shaft 72 and a mechanism 74 for mechanically coupling the bit 68 and the shaft 70 to this shaft 72 to drive it in rotation. The shaft 72 moves the mechanism 50 from its protruding state to its retracted state when it is rotated in one direction and from its retracted state to its protruding state when it is rotated in the opposite direction.
[0113] The coupling mechanism 74 transmits the rotational movement of the bit 68 to the shaft 72 when the rotor 62 is rotated by the authorized key. Alternately, it transmits the rotational movement of the shaft 70 to the shaft 72 when the motor 60 rotates this shaft 70. For this, for example, the coupling mechanism 74 comprises:
[0114] - a differential comprising a first and a second input shaft and the shaft 72 of exit,
[0115] - a mechanical connection which permanently mechanically connects the shaft 70 to the first input shaft, and
[0116] - a mechanical connection which mechanically connects the bit 68 to the second shaft entrance.
[0117] For example, the coupling mechanism 74 is identical to one of those described in the French patent application filed under number FR2203725 on 04 / 21 / 2022 by the company COGELEC.
[0118] To control the motor 60, the system 52 comprises a control unit 80. This unit 80 is configured to implement the method of [Fig. 15]. For this purpose, the unit 80 comprises:
[0119] - a memorandum 82,
[0120] - a programmable microprocessor 84,
[0121] - a transmitter / receiver 86,
[0122] - the touch screen 44, and
[0123] - an information transmission bus 88 which connects the different components of unit 80.
[0124] The memory 82 is a non-volatile memory containing the instructions to be executed by the microprocessor 84. The memory 82 contains all the instructions and data necessary to execute the various functions described in this text. In particular, it contains:
[0125] - the instructions of a software module 90 for detecting an attempted break-in, and
[0126] - the instructions of an access control software module 92.
[0127] The transmitter / receiver 86 is capable of establishing a wireless communication link with the terminal 6 via the network 28.
[0128] The badge reading head 48 is connected to the unit 80 to transmit to the module 92 of the unit 80 the access rights read in the memory of a badge 94. The badge 94 is a badge that can be carried by hand by a human being. If the access rights read in the badge 94 correspond to access rights authorized to unlock the strip 8, the module 92 controls the motor 60 to move the mechanism 50 into its retracted state. Otherwise, the mechanism 50 remains in the protruding state. For example, the badge 94 is a transponder badge that transmits the access rights contained in its memory only when it is presented near the head 48.
[0129] The strip 8 also includes an angular sensor 98 connected to the control unit 80 and housed inside the housing 30.
[0130] The control unit 80 is also connected to the following external elements:
[0131] - a videophone device 96 for establishing videophone communication with a person located on the outside of door 4, and
[0132] - an external head 100 for reading badges.
[0133] The apparatus 96 comprises a camera, a loudspeaker and a microphone. This apparatus 96 is, for example, mounted on the outer face of the door 4.
[0134] The outer head 100 is used to acquire the access rights of a person located on the outer side of the door 4 and, in response, unlock the door 4 if the acquired access rights authorize this unlocking. Here, the head 100 is capable of reading the access rights recorded in the same badges as those used with the head 48. Thus, the same badge 94 can be used with both the head 48 and the head 100. For this, in this embodiment, the head 100 is structurally identical to the head 48 except that it is located on the outer side of the door 4. For example, the head 100 is mounted on the outer face of the door 4.
[0135] The unit 80 is also capable of controlling the motor 60 to rotate the shaft 70 in the opposite direction and thus return the mechanism 50 to its projecting state. For example, after a predetermined time DF has elapsed since the door 4 was placed in its closed position, the unit 80 automatically controls the motor 60 to return the mechanism 50 to its projecting state. To know if the door 4 is in its closed position, the strip 8 comprises a sensor 102 for opening / closing the door 4 connected to the control unit 80.
[0136] Other features of unit 80 are described later.
[0137] The mounting of the outer half-cylinder 61 on the door 4 is now described with reference to figures 3 to 14.
[0138] The housing 30 of the strip 8 comprises a rear plate 120 (Figures 3 to 6) fixed, without any degree of freedom, on the inner face of the door 4. For example, this rear plate is fixed using screws on the inner face of the door 4. Preferably, this rear plate is made of metal. This plate 120 comprises a through orifice 122 ([Fig. 3]) which allows the half-cylinder 61 to protrude from the outer side of the plate 120 while the inner half-cylinder is largely contained inside the housing 30. Here, the cross-section of this orifice 122 follows the periphery of the half-cylinder 61.
[0139] The plate 120 also comprises:
[0140] - a through hole 124 for the passage of a return rod 126 (Figures 4 and 5),
[0141] - four through holes 128 ([Fig.5]) for the passage of screws for fixing a part 130 (Figures 7, 8 and 9) for protecting the cylinder 46, and
[0142] - four through holes 132 ([Fig.5]) for the passage of fixing screws of a external armor 134 ([Fig. 10] to 14).
[0143] Only three holes 128 and three holes 132 are visible in [Fig. 5]. The four holes 128 and 132 are distributed around the orifice 122. The holes 128, 132 have not been shown in the other figures.
[0144] To protect the cylinder 46 against break-in attempts by drilling the rotor 62 using a drill, the strip 8 has an anti-drilling pad 140 (Figures 4 to 8, 10 and 12 to 14). The pad 140 is located in front of the external entrance of the key channel 66 and mounted to rotate freely around the axis 63. Thus, if the end of a drill bit is applied to the pad 140, the latter is driven in rotation around the axis 63. Since the pad 140 then rotates at the same speed as the drill bit, this makes it very difficult to drill the rotor 62.
[0145] The pellet 140 has a slot 142 located in front of the external entrance of the channel 66. The dimensions of the cross-section of this slot 142 are large enough to allow the passage of the blade of the authorized key. Thus, the blade of an authorized key can pass through the slot 142 and then be introduced into the channel 66. Conversely, the dimensions of the cross-section of the slot 142 are small enough to prevent the passage of a drill bit of 6 mm or 8 mm in diameter. For example, here, the slot 142 is a rectangular slot whose width is less than 5 mm or 3 mm.
[0146] The pellet 140 comprises a metal cylinder 144 (Figures 4, 5, 7, 8) of circular cross-section and whose axis of revolution coincides with the axis 63. The slot 142 passes right through this cylinder 144 to open out opposite the entrance to the channel 66.
[0147] To detect an attempted break-in by drilling the rotor, the strip 8 comprises a unit 150 for measuring the rotation of the pellet 140. This measuring unit 150 therefore comprises the angular sensor 98 which is housed inside the housing 30 of the strip 8. To transmit the rotational movement of the pellet 140 to the sensor 98 so that it can measure this movement, the unit 150 also comprises in this embodiment:
[0148] - a pinion 152 (Figures 4 to 8) fixed without any degree of freedom on the cylinder 144, And
[0149] - the return rod 126.
[0150] The axis of rotation of the pinion 152 coincides with the axis 63. Here, the pinion 152 extends along the outer periphery of the cylinder 144 and goes completely around the cylinder 144. It is fixed on the end of the cylinder 144 facing the inner side of the door 4. In this embodiment, the pinion 152 forms only a single block of material with the anti-drilling pellet 140.
[0151] The rod 126 transmits the rotational movement of the pellet 140 to the angular sensor 98. For this purpose, in this embodiment, it extends parallel to the axis 63 from an inner end located near the sensor 98 to an outer end meshed with the pinion 152. Thus, when the pinion 152 rotates, the rod 126 also rotates at a speed which is proportional to the rotational speed of the pinion 152. Here, the outer end of the rod 126 comprises a pinion 154 (Figures 4 to 8) whose teeth are directly engaged with the teeth of the pinion 152.
[0152] The inner end of the rod 126 comprises a permanent magnet 156 ([Fig.8]) fixed without any degree of freedom on this inner end. For example, for this, the inner end of the rod 126 comprises a housing 158 ([Fig.7]) inside which the magnet 156 is fixed.
[0153] The sensor 98 measures the angular position of the inner end of the rod 126. For this purpose, here, it measures the angular position of the magnet 156. For this purpose, the sensor 98 is a magnetic field sensor which delivers to the unit 80 an electrical signal representative of the angular position of the magnet 156 around the axis of rotation of the rod 126. This electrical signal is also representative of the angular position of the pellet 140 around the axis 63.
[0154] The combination of the unit 150 for measuring the rotation of the pellet 140 and the detection module 92 forms a device for detecting an attempted break-in capable, in particular, of detecting an attempted break-in by drilling the rotor 62.
[0155] The protective part 130 makes it possible in particular to protect the cylinder 46 against blows applied to the pellet 140. Here, it also makes it possible:
[0156] - to maintain the pellet 140 opposite the entrance of the channel 66,
[0157] - to serve as a bearing for the rod 126, and
[0158] - to serve as a guide for the external armor 134.
[0159] The part 130 comprises a barrel 160 (Figures 7 to 9) which extends along the axis 63 from a rear face 162 (Figures 7 to 9, 12) to a front face 164 (Figures 7 to 9, 10, 13 to 14). Here, the faces 162 and 164 are flat and parallel to the rear plate 120.
[0160] The rear face 162 is fixed, without any degree of freedom, on the plate 120 and directly in mechanical support on this plate 120. For this, it comprises four tapped holes 166 (Figures 7 and 9) which come opposite the holes 128 so as to allow the fixing of the barrel 160 on the plate 120 by four fixing screws.
[0161] The barrel 160 has a blind bore 170 (Figures 7, 9, 12) for receiving the lower part of the stator of the half-cylinder 61 and a stop 176 (Figures 7 to 9, 12). This bore 170 opens into the rear face 162. The stator of the half-cylinder 61 is slidably received inside the bore 170. More precisely, the outer portion of the stator 64 of the cylinder 46 is introduced inside the bore 170 by sliding, in the Y direction, the half-cylinder 61 inside the bore 170. The bore 170 is deeper than the length of the half-cylinder 61 so that there is a hollow space between the outer end of the half-cylinder 61 and a wall 172 (Figures 7 and 8) which forms the bottom of this bore 170. The wall 172 extends mainly in a vertical plane parallel to the X and Z directions. The outer face of the wall 172 forms the front face 164 of the barrel 160.
[0162] The wall 172 has a through hole centered on the axis 63 and in which the cylinder 144 of the pellet 140 is received, free to rotate. For this purpose, the diameter of this hole through hole is slightly larger than the diameter of the cylinder 144. In addition, here, the diameter of this through hole is also smaller than the diameter of the pinion 152 so that the pinion 152 also forms a rim which retains the pellet 140 inside the part 130. Here, the length of the cylinder 144 is chosen so that the slot 142 is flush with the front face 164 or is slightly set back inwards relative to the front face 164.
[0163] In this exemplary embodiment, the inner face of the wall 172 comprises a recess in which the pinions 152 and 154 are housed. The bottom of this recess extends in a vertical plane Pi72 ([Fig.8]), parallel to the directions X and Z.
[0164] The stop 176 prevents that, when the pellet 140 is pushed towards the inside of the part 130, this pellet comes to bear on the half-cylinder 61. For this purpose, the stop 176 comprises a bearing face 178 (Figures 7 and 8) which extends in a vertical plane P 178 ([Fig.8]) parallel to the directions X and Z. This plane P178 is located behind the plane P172. The bearing face 178 partially closes the recess in which the pinions 152 and 154 are housed so that the pinions 152 and 154 are wedged in a cavity delimited by the planes P[72 and Pi78. The thickness of this cavity in the Y direction is greater than the thickness of the pinions 152 and 154 so that they can freely rotate around their respective axes of rotation. The plane P[72 is also located in front of the vertical plane in which the outer end of the half-cylinder 61 extends. Thus, if the pellet 140 is pushed towards the inside of the part 130, the pinion 152 only comes to bear on the bearing face 178 of the stop 176 and not on the outer end of the half-cylinder 61.
[0165] In addition, the stop 176 is fixed without any degree of freedom on the barrel 160 by means of a screw 179 (Figures 9 and 12) screwed into a tapped hole made on the rear face 162. Here, once assembled in the barrel 160, the rear face of the stop 176 is flush with the rear face 162 so that the stop 176 is directly in mechanical support on the plate 120.
[0166] Under these conditions, since the outer end of the half-cylinder 61 does not come to bear against the wall 172 and the sides of the half-cylinder 61 are also not fixed to the inside of the bore 170, if a blow is applied to the front face 164 or to the pellet 140, the energy of this blow is transmitted, by the part 130, directly to the plate 120 without passing through the intermediary of the half-cylinder 61. Thus, the half-cylinder 61 is protected against this type of attempt to destroy the half-cylinder 61.
[0167] Here, the stop 176 is also crossed by a rectilinear channel 180 (Figures 7 and 8) inside which the return rod 126 is housed. This rectilinear channel 180 acts as a bearing for the rod 126 and serves to guide this rod 126 in rotation around its axis.
[0168] As illustrated in Figures 9 and 12, the stop 176 is shaped to receive, by sliding, the upper part of the half-cylinder 61. For this purpose, here, the portion central part of the stop 176 has a shape which matches the shape of the upper part of the half-cylinder 61.
[0169] Between the faces 162 and 164, the periphery of the barrel 160 is formed by a cylindrical face 184 ([Fig.9]) of constant circular section. An oblong groove 186 ([Fig.9]) is hollowed out in this face 184. This groove 186 extends mainly parallel to the direction Y. The groove 186 is used to guide in translation a pin 190 (Figures 9 to 11) of the external armor 134.
[0170] The armor 134 comprises a front plate 200 (Figures 10 to 14) intended to be pressed directly against a counter-plate 202 ([Fig. 14]). The plate 200 comprises an opening 201 ([Fig. 10]) through which the front face 164 of the part 130 opens.
[0171] The counter plate 202 bears directly on the outer face of the door 4. For example, it is made of metal to be resistant to break-in attempts. Here, the counter plate 202 also includes an external handle 204 ( [Fig. 14]) which allows the door 4 to be moved from its open position to its closed position.
[0172] Here, the armor 134 is made so that it can be mounted on doors of different thicknesses. For this, behind the plate 200, the armor 134 is extended by a tubular portion 206 (Figures 10 to 12) which can slide along the face 184 of the part 130. More precisely, the tubular portion 206 and the front plate 200 here form only one block of material. The armor 134 has a recess 208 ([Fig. 12]) which passes right through the tubular portion 206 and the front face 200. The recess 208 extends parallel to the direction Y. The cross section of the recess 208 is circular and constant. The recess 208 opens into the plate 200 to form the orifice 201. The part 130 is received inside the recess 208. There is a clearance between the part 130 and the recess 208 which allows the armor 134 to be moved in translation, parallel to the direction Y, relative to the part 134.
[0173] To limit the angular movement of the armor 134, the pin 190 is fixed, without any degree of freedom, on the tubular portion 206. The free end of this pin 190 is received in the groove 186. Thus, the pin 190 allows translational movement of the armor 134 along the part 130 in the Y direction while limiting or preventing angular movement of the armor 134 around the part 130.
[0174] The tubular portion 206 comprises a rear face 210 ([Fig. 12]) in which are arranged four tapped holes 212 ([Fig. 12]) capable of coming opposite the holes 132 of the plate 120. The distance Li34 between the rear face 210 and the outer face of the front plate 200 is less than the length Lno of the part 130 between its rear 162 and front 164 faces. Typically, the difference between the lengths Li34 and Li30 is greater than 1 mm and, preferably, greater than 3 mm or 5 mm. Thus, when the fixing screws which pass through the holes 132 are screwed into the holes 212, this causes the armor 134 to slide along the part 130 until the front plate 200 is firmly pressed against the counter-plate 202. Under these conditions, the front plate 200 makes it difficult to attempt to destroy the strip 8 using, for example, a crowbar. Indeed, there is no gap between the front plate 200 and the counter-plate 202 so that it is difficult to insert between these two parts the blade of an object which could then be used to make a lever and thus tear off the armor 134.
[0175] The operation of system 2 will now be described with reference to [Fig. 15].
[0176] During a step 300, the sensor 98 continuously measures the angular position of the rod 126 and transmits to the unit 80, at regular intervals, an electrical signal representative of the angular position of the pellet 140.
[0177] In parallel, during a step 302, the module 90 acquires the measurements from the sensor 98 and deduces therefrom a rotation speed of the pellet 140. Preferably, the deduced rotation speed is an average of several instantaneous rotation speeds measured over an interval greater than 1 s or 2 s or even an average of the instantaneous speeds measured over a complete revolution or several complete revolutions of the pellet 140.
[0178] During a step 304, the module 90 establishes, from the measurements of the sensor 98, the existence or not of an attempted break-in. In this embodiment, for this, the module 90 compares the deduced rotation speed with a maximum threshold Si pre-recorded in the memory 82. During an attempted break-in by drilling the rotor, a drill is applied to the anti-drilling pellet 140. The rotation of the drill causes the pellet 140 to rotate at a high speed around the axis 63. The rotation of the pellet 140 causes the pinion 152 to rotate, which itself drives the rod 126 in rotation. A high speed is typically a rotation speed of the pellet 140 greater than 50 rpm or 100 rpm. Thus, here, the threshold Si is chosen to correspond to a rotation speed of the pellet equal to or greater than 50 rpm or 100 rpm or 150 rpm. The threshold Si cannot therefore be exceeded during normal use of the strip 8.The threshold Si is also chosen to correspond to a rotation speed of the pellet 140 which is systematically exceeded during an attempt to break in by drilling the rotor. For this purpose, here, the threshold Si is therefore also chosen to correspond to a rotation speed of the pellet 140 less than 5000 rpm or 3000 rpm and, preferably, less than 1000 rpm or 300 rpm.
[0179] If the rotation speed is lower than the threshold Si, the module 90 does not establish the existence of an attempted break-in and the method returns to step 302.
[0180] If the rotation speed is greater than the threshold Si, the module 90 establishes the existence of an attempted break-in and, in response, during a step 306, the module 90 triggers the signaling of an attempted break-in.
[0181] In response to the reporting of an attempted break-in, during a step 310, the module 90 triggers one or more countermeasures. For example, these countermeasures are chosen from the following countermeasures:
[0182] - the triggering of an alarm,
[0183] - activation of a blocking device which prevents the lock from being unlocked using the cylinder,
[0184] - sending an alert message to terminal 6.
[0185] The blocking device used is for example that described in the French patent application filed under number FR2203726 on 04 / 21 / 2022 by the company COGELEC.
[0186] If, during step 304, the existence of an attempted break-in is not established while, at the same time, the module 90 has detected that the pellet 140 has made KN complete turns, the module 90 triggers, during a step 312, the signaling of a normal unlocking or a normal locking of the strip 8. To know whether it is an unlocking or a locking, the direction of rotation of the rod 126 is deduced from the measurements of the sensor 98. The number KN is a predetermined number of complete turns corresponding to the number of complete turns of the pellet 140 during a normal locking / unlocking of the cylinder. Typically, the number KN is equal to one or two. The number of complete turns made by the pellet 140 is also obtained from the measurements of the sensor 98.
[0187] In response to this signaling of a normal unlocking or a normal locking of the strip 8, during a step 314, the module 90 timestamps this event and records it in the memory 82. The module simultaneously records information which indicates whether this event is a normal unlocking or a normal locking. The module 90 can also, in parallel, instantly transmit this event to the terminal 6 which displays it on the screen 10.
[0188] The events recorded in the memory 82 can be consulted by the owner, for example, using his terminal 6.
[0189] In parallel with step 302, during a step 320, the module 90 detects, at a time t0, an opening of the door 4 from the measurements transmitted to it by the sensor 102.
[0190] In response to the detection of an opening of the door 4, during a step 322, the module 90 determines whether the mechanism 50 should normally have been in its projecting state. For this, during step 322, the module 90 verifies that the following two conditions are simultaneously satisfied:
[0191] - Condition 1): no unlock command has been received by unit 80 at inside a sliding window preceding time t0.
[0192] - Condition 2): no normal unlocking of the strip 8 using the cylinder 46 was not detected within a sliding window preceding time t0.
[0193] For example, to check whether condition 1) is satisfied, the module 90 acquires each unlocking command and records its time of reception in the memory 82.
[0194] Thus, to check whether conditions 1) and 2) are satisfied or not, the module 90 uses the list of time-stamped events recorded in the memory 82.
[0195] If both conditions 1) and 2) are satisfied, the method continues with step 306 of reporting an attempted break-in. Otherwise, the method returns to step 320.
[0196] For example, the sliding windows of conditions 1) and 2) are the same. This sliding window has a duration DG and ends at time t0. The duration DG is long enough to allow time for a user to open the door 4 after the strip 8 has been unlocked using an authorized key or in response to receiving an unlocking command. For example, the duration DG is greater than or equal to the duration DF. Typically, the duration DG is greater than 10 s or 30 s or 1 min.
[0197] Chapter II: Variants:
[0198] Variants of the unit of measurement:
[0199] Alternatively, the pinion 152 is attached to the cylinder 144 and does not form a single block of material with the anti-drilling pad 140.
[0200] In another embodiment, the magnet is directly attached to the cylinder 144 of the anti-drill pad 140 and the sensor 98 is housed inside the outer end of the part 130 so as to be exposed to the magnetic field of the magnet. In this case, the return rod 126 and the pinion 152 are omitted.
[0201] Alternatively, the angular sensor 98 of the measuring unit 150 directly generates a signal representative of the angular velocity of the pellet 140 instead of generating a signal representative of its angular position. In this case, the module 90 does not have to calculate an angular velocity from measured angular positions.
[0202] The angular position or angular velocity of the anti-drill pad 140 can also be measured using other angular sensors than a magnetic field sensor. Indeed, there are many different sensor technologies for doing this. For example, the angular sensor 98 is replaced by an alternator meshed with the inner end of the return rod 126. In this case, the intensity of the current or voltage generated by this alternator is representative of the rotational speed of the anti-drill pad. The angular sensor can also be an optical encoder or a potentiometer.
[0203] Variants of the anti-drill pad:
[0204] Alternatively, the anti-drill pad has a rim, distinct from the pinion 152, located on the inner end of the cylinder 144. This rim comes to bear on the bearing face 178 when the anti-drill pad 140 is pushed inwards. In this case, the pinion 152 does not also fulfill the function of rim of the anti-drill pad which rests on face 178.
[0205] Other arrangements are possible for holding the anti-drill pellet 140 in front of the entrance to the key channel 66. For example, the dimensions of the orifice 201 of the front face 200 of the armor 134 are modified so that the dimensions of this orifice 201 are just greater than that of the cylinder 144. The cylinder 144 is then received, free in translation and rotation, inside the orifice 201. The pinions 152 and 154 are then housed in a cavity arranged between the front plate 200 and the front face 164 of the part 130. In such an embodiment, the front face 164 is not visible from the outside of the lock.
[0206] Variants of the protective part:
[0207] Other embodiments of the protective part 130 are possible. For example, the number of fixing screws used to fix it on the plate 120 can be greater than four or less than four.
[0208] Alternatively, the rectilinear channel 180 is arranged directly in the barrel 160 and not in the stop 176.
[0209] In another embodiment, the stop 176 is omitted. For example, the stop 176 and the barrel 160 form a single piece and are made from the same block of material. In this case, for example, the wall 172 is removable so that the pinions 152 and 154 can be inserted into the recess located between the planes Pi78 and P172-
[0210] In a simplified embodiment, the part 130 is omitted. The cylinder 46 can then be more easily damaged, for example, by hammer blows. However, the detection of an attempted break-in by drilling the rotor 62 remains effective.
[0211] Variants of the external armor:
[0212] Other embodiments of the outer armor 134 are possible. For example, the number of fixing screws used to secure it to the plate 120 may be greater than four or less than four.
[0213] In a simplified embodiment, the armor 134 is fixed, without any degree of freedom, directly on the protective part 130 and cannot slide along the part 130. In this case, it is not necessary to provide screws to fix the armor 134 directly on the plate 120. Indeed, the armor 134 is fixed on the plate 120 by means of the protective part 130. For example, the armor 134 forms only a single block of material with the protective part 130. Such an embodiment is intended for the case where the thickness of the door 4 is precisely known in advance.
[0214] In another simplified embodiment, the armor 134 is omitted. The robustness of the door strip against break-in attempts is then reduced. However, the detection of an attempted break-in by drilling the rotor 62 remains effective.
[0215] Other variants:
[0216] The counter plate 202 does not necessarily include a handle.
[0217] The counter plate 202 can also be omitted. In this case, the front plate 200 comes directly resting on the outer face of door 4.
[0218] The lock may take other forms than that of a door strip. For example, in another embodiment, the lock is not a multi-point lock so that on the inside, it does not form a strip that extends over the entire height of the door.
[0219] In a simplified variant, the electric motor 60 is omitted. In this case, the movement of the bolt mechanism 50 can only be actuated using the cylinder 46.
[0220] The cylinder 46 can also be an electronic lock cylinder, for example, in European format.
[0221] Other methods are possible for deducing a rotational speed of the pellet 140 from the measurements of the sensor 98. For example, the deduced rotational speed is taken equal to a number of complete revolutions made by the pellet 140 during a predetermined time interval. For this, the predetermined interval begins to be counted from a triggering event. The triggering event is, in one possible embodiment, a new rotational movement of the pellet 140 which occurs after the module 90 has finished counting the previous predetermined interval. For example, the triggering event is a rotation of the pellet 140 of at least 0 degrees, where 0 is a predetermined value greater than 5° or 10° or 90° in order not to take into account a slight accidental rotation of the pellet 140.In this case, the measurements from sensor 98 are used to count the number of complete revolutions of pellet 140 during the predetermined interval.
[0222] During step 304, the module 90 may take into account additional conditions to establish the existence of a break-in attempt. For example, as a variant, a break-in attempt is established only if the following two conditions are satisfied:
[0223] - Condition 1): the deduced rotation speed is greater than the threshold Si, and
[0224] - Condition 2): the number of complete turns made by the pellet 140 is greater to three.
[0225] Steps 312, 314 may be omitted. Similarly, steps 320, 322 may also be omitted.
[0226] Several of the variants described above can be combined in the same embodiment.
[0227] Chapter III: Advantages of the described embodiments:
[0228] The presence of the anti-drill pellet 140 makes it possible to make the lock robust against break-in attempts by drilling the cylinder rotor. Measuring the rotation speed of this pellet 140 to detect such a break-in attempt makes it possible to quickly detect these break-in attempts with a high level of reliability even before the anti-drill pellet is completely destroyed or torn off.
[0229] The use of the return rod 126 makes it possible to house the angular sensor 98 on the inside of the door 4. This increases the robustness of the lock because the sensor 98 is thus very difficult to access from the outside of the door.
[0230] Thanks to the cylinder protection part 130, if hammer blows are applied to the anti-drill pellet 140, the energy of these blows is mainly transmitted to the plate 120 of the lock housing 30 without passing through the cylinder 46. This therefore makes it more difficult to degrade or damage the cylinder 46 by applying such hammer blows to the anti-drill pellet 140.
[0231] The fact that the tubular portion of the external armor 134 can slide along the protective part 130 makes it possible to firmly press the front plate of this external armor 134 against the outer face of the door for different door thicknesses. Thus, the assembly of this external armor 134 is tolerant of errors in the thickness of the door 4.
[0232] Using the same angular sensor 98 to detect an attempted break-in by drilling the cylinder and to signal normal unlocking or normal locking of the lock using the cylinder 46 makes it possible to simplify the structure of this lock. In addition, this way of detecting normal unlocking or normal locking of the lock using the cylinder 46 is compatible with the use, as cylinder 46, of a mechanical cylinder, that is to say a cylinder devoid of any electronic component. In other words, this way of detecting normal unlocking or normal locking of the lock using the cylinder works independently of the type of cylinder used.
[0233] The detection of the opening of the door in the absence of rotation of the pellet 140 and in the absence of the reception of an unlocking command to actuate the motor 60, makes it possible to reliably detect an attempted break-in. In particular, this arrangement makes it possible not to signal an attempted break-in when the lock is unlocked by normal use of the cylinder 46 or when the lock is unlocked in response to the reception of an unlocking command without it being necessary to first deactivate the countermeasures such as the alarm system.
