Description

Title of the invention: TRANSPORT PLATFORM COMPRISING MEANS FOR LOCKING LOADS ON THE TRANSPORT PLATFORM TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION

[0001] The present invention relates to a transport tray which comprises a locking system which allows the locking and release of loads arranged on the transport tray. STATE OF THE PRIOR ART

[0002] In the context of container transport, it is known to load the loads onto a transport platform which can be an integral part of a truck trailer or a removable element which is then loaded onto the truck trailer.

[0003] To prevent loads from falling from the transport platform, it is known to install locking systems which lock each load on the transport platform.

[0004] Locking systems are relatively bulky and complex and it is therefore necessary to find a locking system that locks and releases all containers at once and is relatively simple to implement. Statement of the invention

[0005] An object of the present invention is to provide a transport tray on which loads are loaded and which comprises a locking system which locks and releases the loads from the transport tray.

[0006] For this purpose, a transport tray is proposed having a longitudinal direction and comprising:

[0007] - a chassis on which is arranged a storage area for at least one load comprising at least one fixing bar,

[0008] - for the or each fixing bar, at least one mobile attachment system between a locked position in which the hooking system locks the fixing bar preventing it from moving up or down, an intermediate position in which the hooking system does not lock the fixing bar allowing it to move down but preventing it from moving up, and an unlocked position in which the hooking system unlocks the fixing bar allowing it to move up and down,

[0009] - an actuation system intended to be actuated by a user and movable between a first position, a second position and a third position, and

[0010] - a transmission system arranged to move the or each system latching in the locked position when the actuation system is in the first position, in the intermediate position when the actuation system is in the second position and in the unlocked position when the actuation system is in the third position.

[0011] Advantageously, each attachment system comprises a latch, a return element and a locking device controlled by the actuating system, where the latch has a first end mounted to rotate on the chassis about a first axis of rotation parallel to the longitudinal direction and a second end arranged to hook a fixing bar, where the latch is movable between an engaged position corresponding to the locked position and a released position corresponding to the unlocked position, where the locking device is movable between a first locking position corresponding to the first position in which it locks the latch in the engaged position, a second locking position corresponding to the third position in which it locks the latch in the released position, and a free position corresponding to the second position in which it leaves the latch free to move between the engaged position and the released position, and where, in the free position, the return element forces the latch towards the engaged position.

[0012] According to a particular embodiment, the transmission system comprises a main rod movable in rotation relative to the chassis around a third axis of rotation parallel to the longitudinal direction, and each locking device comprises a bar secured to the main rod, a drive device comprising at least one connecting rod with a first end mounted movable in rotation on the latch around a fourth axis of rotation parallel to the longitudinal direction and a second end crossed by an oblong hole, where the bar has a shaft housed in the oblong hole.

[0013] According to a particular embodiment, the transmission system comprises a main rod movable in rotation relative to the chassis around a third axis of rotation parallel to the longitudinal direction, and each locking device comprises a bar secured to the main rod, a drive device comprising at least one connecting rod with a first end mounted movable in rotation on the bar around a fourth axis of rotation parallel to the longitudinal direction and a second end crossed by an oblong hole, where the latch has a shaft housed in the oblong hole.

[0014] Advantageously, the actuation system is a handle mounted to rotate on the chassis around a second axis of rotation parallel to the longitudinal direction, and the chassis has, for each first, second or third position, a cutout in which the handle is housed when it is in said position. [0026] DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF EMBODIMENTS

[0027] In the following description, and by convention, the longitudinal direction of the transport tray is called X, the transverse direction is called Y, and the vertical direction is called Z, these three directions X, Y and Z being orthogonal to each other. In the description, the terms relating to a position are taken with reference to a transport tray as shown in [Fig.l] where the front is represented by the letters AV and the rear by the letters AR.

[0028] [Fig.l] shows a transport tray 100 which is here of the Ampliroll® tray type which is intended to be loaded onto the rear of a truck equipped with a lifting arm, but which can take another form and it can even be integrated into a truck trailer.

[0029] The transport tray 100 is loaded with at least one load 102. In the embodiment of the invention shown in [Fig.l], there are four loads 102 which are deposited on the transport tray 100 and each load here takes the form of a container.

[0030] [Fig.2] shows the transport tray 100 without the loads 102.

[0031] The transport platform 100 has a frame 101 consisting here of beams parallel to the longitudinal direction X, i.e. parallel to the length of the transport platform 100, and beams parallel to the transverse direction Y, i.e. parallel to the width of the transport platform 100.

[0032] The transport tray 100 comprises a storage area 50 which extends over the chassis 101 and on which the loads 102 are placed.

[0033] The transport tray 100 here comprises a front wall 110a, a rear wall 110b and two side walls 110c-d which are integral with the chassis 101 and which extend over the periphery of the transport tray 100. The walls 110a-d together delimit the storage zone 50.

[0034] Each load 102 comprises a structure 102a and, under the structure 102a, at least one fixing bar 102b (Figs. 6, 8 and 10) which is integral with the structure 102a and which here extends parallel to the longitudinal direction X.

[0035] The transport tray 100 also comprises at least one locking system 150 which comprises, for the or each fixing bar 102b, at least one attachment system 152.

[0036] The locking system 150 also comprises an actuation system 154 intended to be actuated by a user and a transmission system 156 arranged to transmit the movements of the actuation system 154 to each attachment system 152.

[0037] [Fig.3] shows hooking systems 152 and [Fig.4] shows the actuation system 154 which is actuated by a user and movable between a first position, a second position and a third position.

[0038] Figs. 5, 7 and 9 show different positions of the actuation system 154 and the transmission system 156 and Figs. 6, 8 and 10 show different positions of the attachment system 152 and the transmission system 156.

[0039] Figs. 5 and 6 show a locked position in which the hooking system 152 locks the fixing bar 102b preventing it from moving up or down.

[0040] Figs. 7 and 8 show an intermediate position in which the hooking system 152 does not lock the fixing bar 102b but where the hooking system 152 prevents the movement of the associated fixing bar 102b upwards to prevent the removal of the load 102 and where the hooking system 152 allows the movement of the associated fixing bar 102b downwards to allow the depositing of the load 102 on the transport platform 100.

[0041] Figs. 9 and 10 show an unlocked position in which the hooking system 152 unlocks the fixing bar 102b allowing it to move up and down to allow the removal of the load 102 and / or the depositing of the load 102 on the transport tray 100.

[0042] In the embodiment of the invention shown in [Fig. 2], there is a locking system 150 per side of the transport tray 100, i.e. there is one on the port side and one on the starboard side. There is therefore here an actuation system 154 and a transmission system 156 per side and there are hooking systems 152 on the port and starboard sides. to lock both sides of each load 102. But in another embodiment not shown, it is possible to keep attachment systems 152 on the port and starboard sides while having a single actuation system 154 for both sides and a common transmission system 156.

[0043] The transmission system 156 is arranged to move the or each attachment system 152 into the locked position when the actuation system 154 is in the first position, into the intermediate position when the actuation system 154 is in the second position and into the unlocked position when the actuation system 154 is in the third position.

[0044] With such an arrangement, the placement, removal and locking of the loads 102 are simple to implement.

[0045] Each attachment system 152 comprises a latch 302 which has a first end mounted to rotate on the chassis 101 about a first axis of rotation 11 by a pivot connection with the chassis 101. The first axis of rotation 11 is parallel to the longitudinal direction X and a second end of a latch 302 is hooked so as to be able to hook a fixing bar 102b. The hooked part extends here parallel to the transverse direction Y.

[0046] The latch 302 is thus movable in rotation alternately between an engaged position corresponding to the locked position where its second end is above a fixing bar 102b to hold it and a released position corresponding to the unlocked position where its second end is offset transversely relative to the fixing bar 102b to allow it to pass. In the intermediate position, the latch 302 maintains the same position as in the engaged position even if it can move as explained below.

[0047] Each attachment system 152 comprises a locking device 306 which is movable between a first locking position corresponding to the first position (locked position) in which it locks the latch 302 in the engaged position, a second locking position corresponding to the third position (unlocked position) in which it locks the latch 302 in the released position, and a free position corresponding to the second position (intermediate position) in which it leaves the latch 302 free to move between the engaged position and the released position.

[0048] The movement of the locking device 306 is also controlled by the actuation system 154.

[0049] Each attachment system 152 also comprises a return element 304 which, in the free position of the locking device 306, forces the latch 302 towards the engaged position while allowing it to pivot around the first axis of rotation 11. The return element 304 is here a tension spring fixed between the chassis 101 and the first end of the latch 302.

[0050] [Fig.4] shows an example of an actuation system 154 which takes the form of a handle 402 which can be manipulated by a user and the handle 402 is secured to a handle shaft 403 mounted to rotate on the chassis 101 around a second axis of rotation 12 ([Fig.5]) by a pivot connection with the chassis 101. The second axis of rotation 12 is here parallel to the longitudinal direction X.

[0051] To ensure the three stable positions of the handle 402, the chassis 101 has, for each first, second or third position, a cutout 402a-c in which the handle 402 is housed when it is in said position. To be moved, the handle 402 must therefore be shifted in the direction of the longitudinal direction X to exit the cutout 402a-c and then moved in rotation to reach another cutout 402a-c where it is released. There is thus a cutout 402a corresponding to the locked position, a cutout 402b corresponding to the intermediate position and a cutout 402c corresponding to the unlocked position.

[0052] The transmission system 156 comprises a set of connecting rods which ensure the movement of the latch 302 as a function of the movement of the handle 402.

[0053] In the embodiment of the invention shown in Figs. 3 and 5 to 10, the transmission system 156 comprises a main rod 308 which is parallel to the longitudinal direction X and movable in rotation relative to the chassis 101 around a third axis of rotation 13 by a pivot connection with the chassis 101. The third axis of rotation 13 is parallel to the longitudinal direction X. The main rod 308 extends over a sufficient length to actuate each attachment system 152.

[0054] Each locking device 306 comprises a bar 306a secured to the main rod 308 and which bears against the latch 302 in the first locking position ([Fig. 6]) and which is at a distance from the latch 302 in the second locking position and in the free position (Figs. 8 and 10). In the first locking / engaged position, the bar 306a pushes the latch 302 against the fixing bar 102b, that is to say it is arranged on the side opposite the fixing bar 102b with respect to the latch 302.

[0055] Each locking device 306 also comprises a drive device 306b which is arranged between the latch 302 and the bar 306a. The drive device 306b comprises at least one connecting rod 306c, here two in number arranged on either side of the bar 306a and the latch 302.

[0056] Each connecting rod 306c has a first end which is mounted to move in rotation on the latch 302, around the same fourth axis of rotation 14 by a pivot connection with the latch 302. The fourth axis of rotation 14 is here parallel to the longitudinal direction X.

[0057] Each connecting rod 306c has a second end crossed by an oblong hole 306d and the bar 306a has a shaft 306e housed in the oblong hole 306d. The oblong hole 306d has a first end oriented towards the latch 302 and a second end oriented towards bar 306a.

[0058] The oblong hole 306d is arranged so that in the first locking position, the bar 306a bears against the latch 302 which is in the engaged position and the shaft 306e is on the side of the first end, without necessarily reaching it, and so that in the free position, the bar 306a is at a distance from the latch 302 and the shaft 306e is at the level of the second end. The oblong hole 306d thus allows movement of the bar 306a between the first position and the free position without the latch 302 moving.

[0059] A movement of the bar 306a beyond the free position to the second locking position will cause the latch 302 to move from the engaged position to the released position by driving the latch 302 by the link 306c because the shaft 306e is at the second end and pulls on the link 306c.

[0060] The operation is then as follows from a situation where the loads 102 are on the chassis 101.

[0061] The actuating system 154 is in the first position ([Fig.5]) and each hooking system 152 is in the locked position ([Fig.6]). The latch 302 is in the engaged position and hooks the fixing bar 102b of the load 102 and it is locked in this position by the bar 306a which is in the first locking position. The load 102 is locked and cannot be lifted from the chassis 101 to be unloaded. In the same way, it is not possible to deposit a load 102 on the chassis 101.

[0062] The actuating system 154 is moved into the second position ([Fig.7]) and each hooking system 152 is in the intermediate position ([Fig.8]). The latch 302 remains in the engaged position under the action of the return element 304 and hooks the fixing bar 102b of the load 102 but it is no longer blocked by the bar 306a which is in the free position. The load 102 remains locked and cannot be lifted from the chassis 101 to be unloaded. But a load 102 can be deposited on the chassis 101, because when descending, the fixing bar 102a will come into contact with the latch 302 and move it towards the released position to pass underneath before the latch 302 returns to the engaged position under the action of the return element 304. The movement of the latch 302 is possible due to the presence of the oblong hole 306d which allows the movement of the link 306c relative to the shaft 306e.

[0063] The actuating system 154 is in the third position ([Fig. 9]) and each hooking system 152 is in the unlocked position ([Fig. 10]). The latch 302 is in the released position and is therefore spaced from the fixing bars 102b which can pass freely up and down. The latch 302 is locked in this position by the bar 306a which is in the second locking position by pulling on the connecting rod 306c. A load 102 can then be freely loaded or unloaded.

[0064] Return to the starting position is effected by moving the handle 402 into the first position and the return element 304 returns the latch 302 to the engaged position.

[0065] Of course, it is possible to make a reverse arrangement not shown with a connecting rod with a first end mounted mobile in rotation on the bar around a fourth axis of rotation parallel to the longitudinal direction X and a second end crossed by an oblong hole, where the latch 302 has a shaft housed in the oblong hole.

[0066] The oblong hole has a first end oriented towards the latch 302 and a second end oriented towards the bar 306a.

[0067] The oblong hole is arranged so that in the first locking position the bar 306a is in abutment against the latch 302 which is in the engaged position and the shaft 306e is on the side of the second end, without necessarily reaching it, and so that in the free position, the bar 306a is at a distance from the latch 302 and the shaft is at the level of the first end. The oblong hole thus allows movement of the bar 306a between the first position and the free position without the latch 302 moving.

[0068] A movement of the bar 306a beyond the free position to the second locking position will cause the latch 302 to move from the engaged position to the released position by driving the latch 302 by the link 306c because the shaft is at the first end and pulls on the link 306c.

[0069] In the embodiment of the invention shown in Figs. 5, 7 and 9, the transmission system 156 comprises a set of connecting rods which connect the handle shaft 403 and the main rod 308.

[0070] The transmission system 156 comprises a first connecting rod 502, a first end of which is secured to the handle shaft 403, a second connecting rod 504, a first end of which is secured to the main rod 308 and a third connecting rod 506, a first end of which is connected by a pivot connection to the second end of the first connecting rod 502 and a second end of which is connected by a pivot connection to the second end of the second connecting rod 504, where the axes of the two pivot connections are parallel to the longitudinal direction X.
