Abstract
Description
Title of the invention: Connection profile for components adjacent to the coating FIELD OF THE INVENTION
[0001] The present invention relates to a connection profile for components adjacent to the plaster, in particular, window or door frames as well as roller shutter profiles with a plaster-side hip and a sealing blade which has a component-side fastening means, the sealing blade being connected to the plaster-side leg at least during assembly of the connection profile to the component and the plaster-side leg has a recessed leg oriented substantially perpendicular to the sealing blade as well as a plaster-side blade with a plaster finishing edge. STATE OF THE ART
[0002] In this context, according to document EP 2 093 368 B1, a connection profile is known for components adjacent to the plaster and which has a sealing blade fixed to the component with the interposition of a sealing strip provided with an adhesive layer. The sealing strip with the adhesive can be produced in the form of a double-sided strip. The sealing blade has, in addition, a plaster-side blade coming from the sealing blade at an angle, in the direction of the component and which forms, with an engaged branch, projecting from the sealing blade, practically in the perpendicular direction, a plaster housing. A protective, detachable tab is formed on the front edge of the plaster-side branch by a detachable protective tab connected by a material shrinkage; a protective film is attached to this tab.The sealing blade and the sealing strip form, when the connecting profile is installed, a closed, rectangular-section housing receiving an expanded foam element whose shape is compressed. The sealing strip is fixed by a hooking means to the sealing blade, the hooking force, in comparison with that of the hooking means on the component side, is adjusted so that a tensile or shearing movement makes it possible to detach the sealing strip from the sealing branch and thus release the elastic foam element which expands.
[0003] Document AT 506 410 describes a connecting profile for components adjacent to the plaster such as window or door frames and roller shutter elements with a sealing blade attached to the component, with a sealing strip as well as a recessed branch which has a blade on the plaster side. The sealing blade has a housing first closed by the sealing strip for at less one bent element; the sealing strip detaches from the sealing blade by the enlargement of the gap between the coating and the component by the relative movement of the sealing blade which increases detaches and releases the bent element.
[0004] Document EP 4 036 346 A1 describes a connecting profile for components adjacent to the plaster and having a two-part base branch, the inner branch of which has, on the component side, a fixing means by being connected by an outer branch oriented parallel to the inner branch; the outer branch has an engaged branch practically perpendicular to it and a plaster-side branch with a plaster finishing edge. Between the inner branch and the outer branch, an elastic sealing element or sealing strip at least partially compensates for movements between the plaster and the component; the inner branch fixed to the component by a layer of glue or a thin adhesive strip, has a sealing lip applied against the component.
[0005] Document EP 3 477 013 A1 describes a similar connecting profile which also has a sealing element or a large-volume sealing strip between a sealing leg attached to the adjacent component and a leg engaged in the plaster. Furthermore, the sealing leg has hooking elements or a hooking member and the plaster-side leg has corresponding hooking elements so that the two hooking elements practically form a clip-on connection. Such a clip-on connection allows a certain relative movement of the profile parts in the longitudinal direction of the profiles but not in the other two spatial directions to have the desired 3D mobility.
[0006] PURPOSE OF THE INVENTION
[0007] The present invention aims to develop a connection profile (FAP window connection profile and RAP roller shutter connection profile) for components adjacent to the coating (window or door frame and roller shutter profile) and to improve their manufacture to simplify both manufacture and assembly by ensuring a permanent tight seal between the coating and the component, even in the event of relative movement in the three spatial directions.
[0008] DISCLOSURE AND ADVANTAGES OF THE INVENTION
[0009] For this purpose, the invention is characterized in that the sealing blade and the plaster-side branch, at least during installation of the connecting profile, form a practically closed, robust housing which receives a flexible sealing means, in the form of a flange or loop made of a material which has greater elasticity than that of the sealing blade or the plaster-side branch.
[0010] It is in particular provided that the end of the connecting profile opposite that forming the plaster finishing edge has a connection installation between the sealing blade and the plaster-side branch which, at least during storage and installation of the connecting profile, is engaged and consists largely of a flexible extrudate compared to that of the sealing blade or the plaster-side branch, the latter preferably being extruded in the same manufacturing step as the sealing blade and the plaster-side branch.
[0011] In the space between the sealing blade and the coated side branch, there is, in the invention, no sealing strip corresponding to EP 3 477 013 Al or EP 4 036 346 Al, which has functional advantages and manufacturing advantages.
[0012] According to a preferred variant, the sealing blade and the branch on the coating side are connected at least during assembly of the connection profile by the end zone of a detachable protective tab.
[0013] Thus, the detachable protective tab is fixed in the area of the plaster finishing edge of the plaster-side branch and the opposite end area of the sealing blade; after this separation - at the end of the plastering work - the housing can open and guarantee independent 3D mobility between the sealing blade and the plaster-side branch. [0035] DESCRIPTION OF EMBODIMENTS OF THE INVENTION
[0036] The window or door connection profile 10 shown in Figures 1a-1e for components 30 adjacent to the plaster 31a has a sealing blade 11 which is fixed in place with an adhesive strip 17, for example, a double-sided adhesive strip, to the component 30 as well as a plaster-side leg 12 opposite it. The plaster-side leg 12 has an engaged leg 13 projecting, substantially perpendicular to the sealing blade 11, as well as a plaster-side tab 14 with a front, plaster-finishing edge 15.
[0037] Between the sealing blade 11 and the coating-side branch 12 there is a volume or housing 16, initially closed, receiving a sealing means which here is in the form of a thin-walled sealing loop 21 made of a material which, in comparison with the sealing branch 11 or the coating-side branch 12, has greater elasticity. The sealing loop 21 is, for example, made of a flexible PVC / TPE material.
[0038] The loop-shaped sealing means is fixed on one side to the sealing blade 11 and on the other side to the coated-side branch 12 and it is folded into the housing 16 at least during assembly.
[0039] The housing 16 receiving the sealing loop 21 is fixed to the back, that is to say on the side opposite the finishing edge of the coating 15 by a support and connection installation 25, between the sealing blade 11 and the plaster-side branch 12 which is engaged, at least during storage and assembly of the connecting profile 10; it is composed largely of an extrudate, for example, flexible PVC / PTE, compared to the sealing blade 11 or the plaster-side branch 12.
[0040] In the example shown in Figures 1a-1c, the connection installation 24 has a connecting blade 26 fixed, preferably, by coextrusion on the sealing blade 11 while being movably connected to the plaster-side branch 12 by a groove / tongue connection 27 in the longitudinal direction of the profile - as well as in a direction which moves away from the sealing blade 11. The connecting blade 26 is made of an extrudate having an H-shaped section and comprising a U-shaped housing 32 receiving a tongue 29 produced on the plaster-side branch 12 (see [Fig. 1b]).
[0041] The tongue 29 may have notches or teeth to better fit in the U-shaped housing 32. Naturally, the connecting blade 26 could also be fixed to the coated-side branch 12 and have a groove / tongue connection 27 oriented towards the sealing blade 11 (see [Fig.3a], [Fig.3b]).
[0042] The sealing blade 11 and the plaster-side branch 12 are connected after manufacture and at least during assembly of the connecting profile 10 until the end of the plastering work by the end region of a detachable protective blade 28. The end region of the protective blade 28 may have a T-shaped widening.
[0043] The compact starting shape of the connecting profile 10 with the housing 16 closed on both sides for the sealing loop 21 facilitates handling both when gluing the profile to the component 30 and also for plastering work.
[0044] The detachable protective tab 28 is fixed both in the area of the plaster finishing edge 15 of the plaster-side tab 14 and also at the opposite end area of the sealing blade 11; after having detached it (double separation) - after the end of the plastering work - the housing 16 is opened and thus there is a 3D, independent mobility between the sealing blade 11 and the plaster-side branch 12.
[0045] Small relative movements between the sealing blade 11 and the plaster-side branch 12 can be compensated by the tongue / groove connection 27 and by the flexibility of the H-shaped connecting blade 26, which is flexible. For larger relative movements, the tongue 29 comes out of the U-shaped housing 32 of the connecting blade 26 and the seal is ensured solely by the sealing loop 21 which deploys (see [Fig.lb]).
[0046] The connecting profile 10 in the representations of figures 1a-5b is a window or door connecting profile (FAP); the sealing blade 11 has, on the component side, an adhesive strip 17 by which the profile is fixed to the window or door frame.
[0047] The advantages of the invention presented in connection with the profile variant according to figures 1a-1c also apply to all the variants described below in relation to figures 2a-9b.
[0048] The door or window connection profile 10 according to [Fig. 2a] and [Fig. 2b] differs from the variant of FIGS. 1a-1c in that the connecting strip 26 of the connecting device 25 has, in cross-section, an F-shape and a U-shaped housing 33 for the end region of the plaster-side branch 12. For relatively large movements of the components, the end region of the plaster-side branch, due to the deformability of the flexible connecting strip 26, can protrude from the U-shaped housing 33 (see [Fig. 2b]). An elastic sealing lip 20 can be formed on the component-side sealing strip 11.
[0049] The window or door connection profile 10 according to [Fig. 3a] and [Fig. 3b] has a flange-shaped sealing means designed as a sealing flange 22 fixed to the sealing blade 11 and projecting from the component 10; this flange is made of a flexible PVC / TPE material. The end zone 23 is, if necessary, made of hard PVC, slidably and tightly housed in a U-shaped recess 34 of the plaster-side branch 12. The back of the profile has a connecting blade 26 of H-shaped recess which has a U-shaped recess 32 for a tab 29 of the sealing blade 11. The detachable protective tab 28 can be removed at the end of the plastering work by a double separation from the plaster-side tab 14 and the sealing blade 11.
[0050] The explanations concerning the variant of [Fig. 3a] and [Fig. 3b] apply practically to the window and door connection profile 10 according to [Fig. 4a] and [Fig. 4b]. The difference lies mainly in that the connecting blade 26, on the rear side, has an I-shaped cross-section and enters a U-shaped recess 19 in the end region of the plaster-side branch 12. The U-shaped recess 19 can be produced by shaping the plaster-side branch from a flexible material. The end region of the connecting blade 26 can be made of hard PVC.
[0051] The simple profile variant according to [Fig.5a] and [Fig.5b] corresponds, up to the attachment of the detachable protective tab 28, in principle to the variant of figures 1a-1c. The protective tab 28 is here detachably connected only to the coated-side tab 14 of the coated-side branch 12.
[0052] The roller shutter connecting rail 10 shown in [Fig.6a]-6c for components 30 adjacent to the coating 31 (for example, roller shutter rails) has a sealing blade 11 which has, on the construction side, a sealing strip 18 perpendicular to the sealing blade 11 and projecting therefrom. This blade is fixed to the component 30 by an adhesive strip 17, for example, a double-sided strip. Furthermore, the roller shutter rail 10 has a plaster-side branch 12 with an engaged branch 13 as well as a plaster-side tab 14 with a plaster finishing edge 15.
[0053] A sealing means in the form of a thin-walled sealing loop 21 is provided in the housing 16 firstly closed between the sealing blade 11 and the plaster-side branch 12; this material has a greater elasticity than that of the sealing blade 11 or the plaster-side branch 12. The sealing loop 21 is, for example, made of a flexible PVC / TPE material.
[0054] The housing 16 for the sealing loop 21 is closed on the back, i.e. on the side opposite the plaster finishing edge 15 by a support and connection installation 25 between the sealing blade 11 and the plaster-side branch 12 which is engaged at least during storage and assembly of the connecting profile 10; and is largely made of a flexible extrudate (e.g. flexible PVC / PTE) compared to the sealing blade 11 or the plaster-side branch 12 (e.g. flexible PVC / PTE extrudate.
[0055] For the rest, we have the same explanations for the roller shutter connection profile according to figures 6A-6C as those given in connection with the window or door profile shown in figures 1a-1c.
[0056] The roller shutter connecting profile 10 according to [Fig. 7a] and [Fig. 7b] differs from the variant of Figures 6a-6c in that the connecting branch 26 of the connecting installation 25 has, in section, an F-shape and a U-shaped housing 33 for the end region of the plaster-side branch 12. For large movements of the components, the end region of the plaster-side branch can protrude from the U-shaped housing 33 (see [Fig. 7b]) due to the deformability of the adjustable connecting branch 26.
[0057] The roller shutter connecting profile 10 according to [Fig.8a] and [Fig.8b] has a flange-shaped sealing means made in the form of a sealing flange, fixed to the sealing blade 11; a sealing flange 22 projecting from the component 30 and whose end zone 23 made of hard PVC is slidably and tightly housed in a U-shaped cross-sectional housing 34 of the plaster-side branch 12. The back of the connecting blade profile 26 has an H-shaped cross-section, with a U-shaped housing 32 for the tab 29 of the sealing blade 11. The detachable protective tab 28 will be removed at the end of the plastering work by tearing it off from both sides of the plaster-side tab 14 and the sealing blade 11.
[0058] For the roller shutter connecting profile 10 according to [Fig.9a] and [Fig.9b], the explanations are practically the same as above concerning the variant of [Fig.8a] and [Fig.8b]. The difference lies mainly in that the cross-section of the connecting blade 26 on the rear side has an I-shape coming into a U-shaped housing 19 in the end zone of the plaster-side branch 12. The U-shaped housing 19 U-shaped is made by shaping the coated side branch into a flexible material. The end zone of the connecting blade 26 which enters the U-shaped housing is made of hard PVC.
[0059] The sealing loop 21 or the sealing flange 22 of the single variant is entirely or largely made of a flexible PVC / TPE material, preferably being shaped as coextrudates.
[0060] For all the variant embodiments of the connecting profile 10, a hanging grid 24 is fixed to the embedded branch 13, preferably with coextruded fixing strips.
