[0033] Reference is now made to [Fig. 1] representing a musical device 10 according to the invention.

[0034] The device 10 comprises a music box mechanism 14.

[0035] The music box mechanism 14 comprises a drum 16 with pins which can rotate about a first axis A1, leaf springs 18 arranged perpendicular to the drum 16 and a means 20 for rotating the drum 16.

[0036] The rotation of the drum 16 can be manual, and the rotation means 20 comprises in particular a shaft 21 having at one end a crank 22.

[0037] In particular, the means 20 for rotating the drum is movable in rotation around a second axis A2 perpendicular to the drum 16.

[0038] The shaft 21 is configured to drive the drum 16 in rotation, for example by means of notches made on the shaft 21 and one end 24 of the drum 16 along the first axis AL

[0039] The means for rotating the drum may alternatively comprise a wheel at the end of the shaft or any manual means for rotating the drum.

[0040] In a variant (not shown), the rotation of the drum is automatic. According to this variant, the device comprises a motor capable of rotating the music box drum. The motor is, for example, a mains-powered, battery-powered or photovoltaic cell-powered motor. The means for rotating the drum comprises, for example, a control button placed on the device or a remote control means. The remote control means may comprise a receiver integrated into the housing and a transmitter, for example, a remote control or a user terminal, such as a mobile phone, using a dedicated application installed on the user terminal.

[0041] The device 1 further comprises a receptacle 30 for at least one card 32. The receptacle 30 is configured to hold a plurality of cards 32 while allowing ease of depositing cards in this receptacle 30, and is also configured to allow the driving of at least one card 32 outside said receptacle 30. Preferably, the receptacle 30 is configured to allow the driving of a single card 32 at a time outside said receptacle 30.

[0042] For this purpose, the device 10 may comprise a structure 40 delimiting the receptacle 30.

[0043] The structure 40 visible in Figures 1 and 2 has a bottom 42, two side walls 44, 46 and a rear wall 47 delimiting between them an internal volume VI. Preferably, the bottom 42 is flat.

[0044] In particular, the side walls 44, 46 are substantially perpendicular to the rear wall 47.

[0045] By “substantially perpendicular”, it is understood that each side wall 44, 46 forms an angle with the rear wall 47 of between 89° and 91°.

[0046] For example, each side wall 44, 46 has a length taken along a longitudinal direction X and the rear wall has a width taken along a transverse direction Y perpendicular to the longitudinal direction X, and the length of each side wall is between 1 and 3 times the width of the rear wall 47.

[0047] We define an elevation direction Z perpendicular to the longitudinal directions X and Y.

[0048] The side walls 44, 46 and the rear wall 47 have a border 49 opposite the bottom 42. In an upper part, the structure 40 forms a frame, in particular rectangular or rectangular with rounded edges, and has on at least one side, preferably on one side only, a slot 48 for passing a card 32. The slot 48 is in particular opposite the rear wall 46. The crank 22 for rotating the drum 16 is for example protruding on one side between the slot 48 and the rear wall 46.

[0049] The structure 40 has L-shaped edges 50 for holding cards 32. In particular, the L-shaped edges 50 form an angle of between 0° and 50° relative to a plane perpendicular to the elevation direction Z of the bottom 42 of the structure 40 to the edge 49. The cards 32 are placed on the L-shaped edges 50.

[0050] In this way, the receptacle 30 for at least one card 32 and the driving means 60 are arranged to drive the card(s) 32 at an angle of between 0° and 50° relative to the bottom 42 of the structure 40.

[0051] The L-shaped edges 50 are for example formed by cutting and folding the structure 40.

[0052] The L-shaped edges 50 make it possible to hold the card(s) 32 while limiting the use of material.

[0053] Advantageously, the music box mechanism 14 is fixed to the structure 40 by any technically feasible means. For example, as can be seen in [Fig. 2], the music box mechanism 14 is fixed to the structure 40 by screws 53. The structure 40 has holes 55 provided to receive the means for fixing the music box mechanism 14 to the structure 40. Alternatively, the fixing means may be rivets, glue, or any other technically feasible means. wise.

[0054] The structure 40 may have a cutout 54 in a wall, in particular a side wall 46, to allow the passage of the means 20 for rotating the drum. In [Fig.2], the cutout 54 is perpendicular to the edge 49.

[0055] Advantageously, the frame formed by the structure 40 in the upper part has at least one notch 56. Such a notch 56 allows the passage of fingers to facilitate the gripping of the card 32 in the receptacle 30. In particular, the structure 40 has two lateral notches 56 and a front notch 56.

[0056] The structure 40 is advantageously made of metal. Such a metal structure creates a resonance box when the music box mechanism 14 is put into operation. The structure 40 is for example shaped by folding the metal.

[0057] Alternatively, the structure 40 may be made of plastic. The use of plastic is advantageous in particular for reducing production costs.

[0058] In particular, at least one card 32 is received in the receptacle 30. For reasons of clarity of figures 1 and 2, the cards received in the receptacle are not shown in these figures but are shown in figures 4 and 6 as will be described later.

[0059] Preferably, a plurality of cards 32 are received in the receptacle 30, for example between two and forty-five cards. Each card 32 is for example of the playing card type, made of paper. Preferably, each card 32 is provided with text and / or an illustration on at least one face.

[0060] Each card 32 is preferably not laminated. This prevents a card 32 from slipping when it is being drawn out of the receptacle 30.

[0061] Each card 32 is preferably rectangular. For example, each card 32 has a length and a width taken perpendicular to the length, the length of the card 32 being between 1.1 and 1.5 times the width of the card 32. In a particular example, a card 32 has a length of 74 mm and a width of 55 mm. Each card 32 has, for example, a thickness of between 0.1 and 0.9 mm, preferably equal to 0.5 mm.

[0062] Preferably, each card 32 has dimensions smaller than the dimensions of the receptacle 30.

[0063] Each card 32 carries for example a message, and / or an illustration.

[0064] The device 10 further comprises a drive means 60 configured to train at least one of the 32 card(s).

[0065] The drive means 60 is advantageously placed under the receptacle 30 in the elevation direction Z so as to be located between the bottom 42 of the structure 40 and the receptacle 30.

[0066] The drive means 60 comprises in particular a roller 62 extending along a third axis A3. The roller 62 is mounted to rotate about the third axis A3. In operation, the card(s) 32 slide on the roller 62.

[0067] Preferably, the second axis A2 and the third axis A3 are substantially parallel.

[0068] By “substantially parallel”, it is understood that the second axis A2 and the third axis A3 form an angle between them of between 0° and 1°.

[0069] The drive means 60 extends between two ends along the third axis A3. Each end is in particular fixed to one of the side walls 44, 46 of the structure 40 by any technically conceivable means. For example, each end is fixed to the structure 40 by screws.

[0070] The roller 62 is preferably provided with at least one roller 64. In particular, the roller 62 is provided with three rollers 64 distributed along the roller 62. Such rollers 64 make it possible to drive a single card 32 at a time.

[0071] According to a variant shown in [Fig. 10], the device further comprises a means 66 for exerting pressure on the card(s). This means 66 for exerting pressure comprises for example a spring 66. The spring 66 has for example a tab shape folded down and fixed to the rear wall 47 of the structure 40 and extending at least partly along the receptacle 30 for at least one card and above it. The tab can be fixed to the rear wall 47 by a double-sided adhesive. This makes it possible to exert uniform pressure on the card(s), in particular when there are few left in the receptacle, and thus to ensure the driving of at least one card 32 by the driving means 60. To insert one or more cards 3 into the receptacle 30, the user simply has to lift the spring 66 and insert the card(s) 32 into the receptacle 30 under the spring 66.

[0072] The means 20 for rotating the music box drum is connected to the drive means 60 by a transmission member 70 so as to cause at least one card 32 to be driven by the drive means 60.

[0073] Such a configuration of the device 10 makes it possible to drive at least one card 32 by the drive means 60 simultaneously with the rotation of the music box drum, and therefore the emission of music by the device.

[0074] Advantageously, the transmission member 70 is arranged perpendicular to the second axis A2 and to the third axis A3.

[0075] The transmission member 70 is notably placed outside the internal volume V1 delimited by the bottom 42 and the walls 44, 46, 47 of the structure 40, along a side wall 44.

[0076] The transmission member 70 comprises, for example, a gear of a plurality of toothed wheels 72. In particular, an even number of toothed wheels 72, including a first toothed wheel 72a connected to the means for rotating the drum, and a last toothed wheel 72d connected to the drive means 60. For example, the member 70 transmission comprises four toothed wheels 72a, 72b, 72c, 72d as in Figures 1 to 4, or two toothed wheels as in the embodiment of [Fig.10].

[0077] Choosing an even number of toothed wheels 72 makes it possible to turn the means 20 for rotating the drum in the opposite direction to the direction of exit of a card 32 by the drive means 60 and thus provides ease of use of the device 10.

[0078] According to a variant, the last toothed wheel 72d has a diameter at least twice the diameter of the third axis A3. Thus, the output time of a card 32 from the receptacle 30 is multiplied, which makes it possible to play a sound, in particular music, for a reasonable duration simultaneously with the output of the card 32.

[0079] The output time of the card 32 is in particular approximately ten seconds.

[0080] As a variant, the transmission member comprises a wheel connected to the second axis and a wheel connected to the third axis around which a smooth or toothed belt is arranged.

[0081] According to other variants, the transmission member can have any technically conceivable shape.

[0082] According to a particular embodiment, the means 20 for rotating the drum is movable in both directions and the drum 16 comprises a safety device preventing the emission of sound when the drum 16 is rotated in the opposite direction to its operating direction. In such an example, the means 20 for rotating the drum is movable in a first direction in which the music plays and at least one card 32 comes out, and in a second direction opposite to the first direction in which the music does not play and a card 32 placed on the drive means 60 returns towards the receptacle 30.

[0083] Figures 3, 4 and 6 to 9 represent an assembly E comprising a musical device 10 as described above and a housing 100 housing the device 10.

[0084] The housing 100 is configured to allow the exit of at least one card 32 present in the receptacle 30 outside the housing 100.

[0085] As visible in [Fig.5], the housing 100 has at least one bottom wall 102, on which the housing 100 rests, and a peripheral side wall 104. The bottom wall 102 and the peripheral wall 104 delimit between them an internal volume V2 of the housing. In particular, the peripheral wall 104 has an orifice for the passage of the means 20 for rotating the drum.

[0086] In the example shown, the bottom wall 102 is flat and the peripheral side wall 104 has a cross-section in the shape of a square with rounded edges. According to variants, the cross-section of the peripheral side wall 104 is of any other shape, for example rectangular, trapezoidal, polygonal, a circle, an oval or any other shape.

[0087] Advantageously, the housing 100 is provided with at least one slot 110, preferably a single slot 110, for the passage of at least one card 30 between the inside and the outside of the housing 100. The slot 110 is for example provided in the peripheral side wall 104 parallel to the bottom wall 102 of the housing 100.

[0088] The device 10 is housed in the internal volume V2 of the housing 100.

[0089] The device 10 is fixed to the housing 100 by any technically possible fixing means faceable. In particular, the bottom 42 of the structure of the device 10 is fixed to the bottom wall of the housing 100.

[0090] Preferably, the device 10 is fixed to the housing 100 by a reversible fixing means. For example, the bottom wall 102 of the housing has tapped blind holes 106 and the bottom 42 of the structure 40 of the device 10 has holes 55 for the passage of screws 53. The music box mechanism 14 carries the screws 53, and the device 10 is screwed to the bottom wall 102 of the housing 100.

[0091] The device 10 can thus easily be installed or removed from the housing 100 in the event of maintenance, for example, or if a user wishes to change the music and therefore the music box mechanism.

[0092] The slot 48 for passing a card 32 of the device 10 is arranged opposite the slot 110 of the housing 100.

[0093] The transmission member 70 is for example placed between a side wall 44 of the device and the peripheral side wall 104 of the housing 100.

[0094] In the example shown, the housing 100 has in the peripheral lateral wall 104 a bore 108 for the crank 22 to pass through, in particular in a face 109 opposite the transmission member 70. As a variant, the housing has in the peripheral lateral wall a bore for the crank to pass through, in particular in a face on the same side as the transmission member. The second axis A2 and the third axis A3 are preferably substantially parallel to the slot 110.

[0095] According to an embodiment visible in Figures 3 to 9, the housing 100 comprises on an external face 111, in particular of the peripheral lateral wall 104, a system 112 for attaching a card 32 in a removable manner.

[0096] The attachment system 112 comprises for example a pair of magnets 114. In particular, a first magnet is arranged on the peripheral side wall 104 outside the housing 100 so as to hold a card 32 vertically when the latter is placed between the two magnets, and a second magnet is provided in a decorative element 116, for example in the shape of a heart such as in FIGS. 3 and 6 to 9, or any other technically conceivable shape, for example a star, a flower, a sun, a rainbow, a face, etc.

[0097] In the example shown, the attachment system 112 is arranged on the same external face 111 as the slot 110. As a variant, the attachment system 112 and the slot 110 are arranged on two separate external faces of the housing 100.

[0098] Alternatively, the attachment system 112 comprises, for example, a clamp, a fixing paste, a pin or any other reversible fixing system that can be envisaged.

[0099] It is thus possible to display a card 32 outside the housing 100, for example just after having removed it from the housing 100.

[0100] The housing 100 is for example made of wood. Alternatively, the housing is made of plastic, metal or any other technically feasible material.

[0101] In the example shown, the housing 100 is made of an opaque material. Alternatively, it can be made of a transparent material.

[0102] The assembly E preferably comprises a cover 120 of the housing 100. When the cover 120 is placed on the housing 100, the receptacle 30 of the device 10 is concealed inside the housing 100 if the latter is opaque.

[0103] The cover 120 may be provided to be removed entirely from the housing 100.

[0104] The cover 120 advantageously has a central symmetry. Thus, it is possible to close the case 100 with the cover 120 without worrying about the direction of the cover 120.

[0105] In the example shown and visible in [Fig.6], the cover has four corners 122, and at each corner 122 a lug 124 projecting from the cover 120 and intended to guide the cover 120 when it is placed on the housing 100.

[0106] Alternatively, the cover is attached to the housing on one side, for example by a hinge.

[0107] The cover 120 is for example made of the same material as the housing 100. Alternatively, the cover is made of any other technically feasible material.

[0108] The housing 100 provides practicality of use for the device 10 and compactness as well as an aesthetic character by concealing the device or on the contrary by leaving it visible if the housing is transparent.

[0109] According to one embodiment, the music box mechanism 14 is disengageable. In this way, when the mechanism is disengaged, the rotation of the drum 16 takes place without contact with the leaf springs 18. The mechanism thus does not emit any sound. This allows a user to continue to use the device 10 without the emission of sound if the sound bothers him.

[0110] According to another variant, the device further comprises a light element capable of lighting up when the means 20 for rotating the drum is put into operation. For example, the light element comprises a coil of light-emitting diodes without power supply.

[0111] According to another variant of the device, the music box mechanism is devoid of a drum and leaf springs but comprises an electronic system. For example, the music box mechanism comprises at least one loudspeaker, a memory capable of recording a plurality of sounds, a processor capable of receiving the sounds and transmitting them to the loudspeaker and a means for triggering the emission of a sound by the device.

[0112] A method of using a musical device 10 as defined previously will now be described.

[0113] At least one card 32 is provided in the receptacle 30.

[0114] The drum 16 is rotated by the rotation means 20. In particular, as seen in [Fig.7], the crank 22 is rotated in one direction, preferably the opposite direction to the direction of card 32 exiting the receptacle 30. According to the variants of the rotation means 20 mentioned above, the wheel is turned, or the control button placed on the device is activated, or the remote control means is activated.

[0115] The rotation of the drum 16 causes the emission of a sound by contact between the pins of the drum 16 and the leaf springs 18, in particular of a piece of music.

[0116] The rotation of the drum 16 is transmitted to the drive means 60 by the transmission member 70. In particular, the rotation of the shaft 21 around the second axis A2 is transmitted to the toothed wheels 72. The toothed wheels 72 begin to rotate, causing the rotation of the roller 62 around the third axis A3.

[0117] The drive means 60 drives at least one card 32 outside the device 10, in particular through the slot 48 provided for this purpose.

[0118] The rotation of the drive means 60 around the third axis A3 drives at least one card 32 outside the receptacle 30.

[0119] Preferably, a single card 32 is driven by the drive means 60. The drive means 60 being advantageously placed under the receptacle 30, the card 32 driven is the card below in the elevation direction Z when several cards 32 are present in the receptacle 30.

[0120] As soon as the drum 16 is set into rotation, the steps of emitting a sound, transmitting the rotation of the drum 16 to the drive means 60 by the transmission member 70, and driving at least one card 32 by the drive means 60 are implemented concomitantly. Thus, the emission of music is synchronized with the driving of the card(s) 32.

[0121] If the means 20 for rotating the drum is actuated in the other direction, the card(s) 32 can be driven towards the inside of the receptacle 30, or blocked.

[0122] As visible in [Fig.8], when the device 10 is housed in a housing 100 to form the assembly E, the rotation of the drum 16 by the rotation means 20 drives the transmission member 70 which in turn drives the drive means 60.

[0123] The drive means 60 drives at least one card 32 outside the housing 100, in particular through the slot 110 provided for this purpose.

[0124] In particular, the rotation of the shaft 21 around the second axis A2 is transmitted to the toothed wheels 72. The toothed wheels 72 begin to rotate, causing the rotation of the roller 62 around the third axis A3.

[0125] The rotation of the drive means 60 around the third axis A3 drives at least one card 32 outside the housing 100, in particular through the slot 110 provided for this purpose.

[0126] Preferably, a single card 32 is driven by the drive means 60.

[0127] Thus, the emission of sound, in particular of a piece of music, by the device 10 and the driving of at least one card 32 outside the housing 100 are synchronized. Generally, the device 10 is arranged so that the duration of the output of the card 32 outside the housing 100 and the duration of the piece of music are almost identical, in particular around ten seconds. By "almost identical", it is understood up to one second of difference between the two.

[0128] An output card 32 can be held outside the housing 100 by means of the attachment system 112, as shown in [Fig.9].
