Description

Title of the invention: DEVICE FOR COUPLING A PROPULSION SYSTEM TO A ENGINE PISTON OF AN AIRCRAFT AND CORRESPONDING AIRCRAFT Technical field

[0001] The present invention relates to a device for coupling a propulsion system to the wing of an aircraft. More specifically, the invention relates to a device for coupling a propulsion system to the engine pylon of the aircraft, as well as to an aircraft comprising a propulsion system and at least one such device for coupling the propulsion system to the engine pylon. STATE OF THE PRIOR ART

[0002] Typically, for an aircraft, a propulsion assembly comprises, for example, a turbojet engine which is attached to a wing of the aircraft using a reactor mast. The reactor mast generally consists of a structure comprising a plurality of tubes attached to ribs.

[0003] The turbojet engine is attached to the ribs of the engine pylon by means of engine mounts which conventionally comprise, at the front, a plurality of front engine mounts, and at the rear, a plurality of rear engine mounts. Generally, the turbojet engine is attached, at the front, at its gearbox and, at the rear, at the body of the turbojet engine.

[0004] [Fig. 2] illustrates an example of a prior art attachment 9 for coupling a turbojet engine T to the engine pylon M of an aircraft. The attachment 9 comprises a base 90 in the shape of an inverted T comprising a base 900 from which a wall 902 extends substantially perpendicularly. The base 900 has a generally quadrilateral shape and is intended to be in contact with the turbojet engine T and to be fixed to the turbojet engine T for example using screw elements (at the gearbox for the front attachment and at the body of the turbojet engine for the rear attachment, for example).

[0005] The wall 902 comprises a bore in which is housed a sleeve (not visible) itself having a bore in which is threaded a fixing pin 91 which is fixed to the engine pylon M, for example by screwing. The attachment 9 further comprises damping pads 92 implemented on either side of the wall 902 of the base 90 and held by a set of flanges 93 to partially absorb the forces generated by the turbojet. A attachment 9 implementing pads 92 is also called a flexible attachment. A spacer 94 can also be implemented, around a part of the sleeve, between the base 9 and the engine pylon M.

[0006] Although current installations are satisfactory in terms of fixing the turbojet engine to the engine pylon, the implementation of these installations requires a multiplication of these installations to prevent a possible failure of the attachment, in particular in the event of breakage or cracking of the fixing pin 91. The multiplication of these installations results in an overload and therefore increased fuel consumption, which is not satisfactory.

[0007] It is therefore necessary to provide a solution ensuring optimal and more secure attachment of a turbojet to the wing of an aircraft. Statement of the invention

[0008] An object of the present invention is to provide a device for coupling a propulsion system to the engine pylon secured to a wing of an aircraft, this device providing a more secure solution for fixing a propulsion system in the event of failure of the attachment.

[0009] For this purpose, a device is proposed for coupling a propulsion system to a reactor mast of an aircraft, said device comprising:

[0010] - a base having a substantially inverted T shape, said base comprising a base intended to be fixed to said propulsion system and a first wall extending substantially perpendicular to said base, said first wall comprising a first bore and a second bore extending respectively along a first longitudinal axis and a second longitudinal axis parallel to each other;

[0011] - a first sleeve and a second substantially tubular sleeve comprising each a first portion threaded respectively into said first bore and said second bore, said first and second sleeves each comprising a second portion of which a first end extends in the extension of said first portion in the direction of said reactor mast and of which a second end is intended to cooperate with said reactor mast, said first sleeve comprising a first central bore coaxial with said first longitudinal axis and said second sleeve comprising a second central bore coaxial with said second longitudinal axis;

[0012] - fixing means comprising a first nut and a second nut intended to be secured to said reactor mast, a first fixing screw comprising a first fixing head from which a first threaded rod extends, said first threaded rod being threaded into said first central bore and being screwed to said first nut, and a second fixing screw comprising a second fixing head from which a second threaded rod extends, said second threaded rod being threaded into said second central bore and being screwed to said second nut;

[0013] - a second front flange and a second rear flange, said second flanges being arranged respectively on either side of said first wall, said second front flange comprising an eleventh bore and a twelfth bore extending respectively coaxially to said first and second longitudinal axes, said second rear flange comprising a thirteenth bore and a fourteenth bore extending respectively coaxially to said first and second longitudinal axes;

[0014] - a first and a second spacer intended to be arranged between said second rear flange and said engine mast, said first spacer comprising a third central bore coaxial with said first longitudinal axis so that said first spacer is threaded onto said second portion of said first sleeve, and said second spacer comprising a fourth central bore coaxial with said second longitudinal axis so that said second spacer is threaded onto said second portion of said second sleeve.

[0015] Said first portion of said first sleeve is threaded into said eleventh and thirteenth bores of said second flanges.

[0016] Said first portion of said second sleeve is threaded into said twelfth and fourteenth bores of said second flanges. Each fixing head bears against said second front flange.

[0017] In this way, if one of the first or second fixing screws fails, the other fixing screw ensures that the coupling of the propulsion system to the engine mast is maintained. The risk of complete loss of the device for coupling the propulsion system to the engine mast is therefore reduced.

[0018] According to a particular aspect of the invention, said first longitudinal axis and said second longitudinal axis extend parallel in a plane generally parallel to said base.

[0019] According to another particular aspect of the invention, said first longitudinal axis and said second longitudinal axis extend parallel in a plane generally perpendicular to said base.

[0020] According to a particular aspect of the invention, said base comprises a first and a second base part, each of said first and second parts being in the form of an L, where said first part comprises a first base wall from which extends perpendicularly a second wall comprising a fifteenth bore and a sixteenth bore extending respectively coaxially to said first and second longitudinal axes, and where said second part comprises a second base wall from which extends perpendicularly a third wall comprising a seventeenth bore and an eighteenth bore extending respectively coaxially to said first and second longitudinal axes. tudinal.

[0021] Said first and second base parts are joined against each other so that said second wall and said third wall together form said first wall of said base, that said first and second base walls together form said base of said base, and that said fifteenth and seventeenth bores together form said first bore and that said sixteenth and eighteenth bores together form said second bore.

[0022] According to a particular aspect of the invention, the device comprises means for centering along said longitudinal axes of said first and second base parts relative to each other.

[0023] According to another particular aspect of the invention, said centering means comprise a first male cylinder coaxial with said first longitudinal axis and a second male cylinder coaxial with said second longitudinal axis, said first and second male cylinders projecting from a first contact face of said second wall, or respectively of said third wall, and a first cylindrical housing coaxial with said first longitudinal axis and a second cylindrical housing coaxial with said second longitudinal axis for the respective reception of said first male cylinder and second male cylinder, said first and second cylindrical housings being provided at a second contact face of said third wall, or respectively of said second wall, said first and second contact faces being arranged opposite each other when said first and second parts of the base are assembled.

[0024] According to another particular aspect of the invention, the device also comprises: - a first front flange and a first rear flange, said first front and rear flanges being fixed respectively on either side of said first wall, said first front flange comprising a third bore and a fourth bore extending respectively coaxially with said first and second longitudinal axes, said first rear flange comprising a fifth bore and a sixth bore extending respectively coaxially with said first and second longitudinal axes; and - a front pad and a rear pad which are arranged respectively against said first front flange and against said first rear flange, said front pad comprising a seventh bore and an eighth bore extending respectively coaxially with said first and second longitudinal axes, said rear pad comprising a ninth bore and a tenth bore extending respectively coaxially with said first and second longitudinal axes.

[0025] According to this aspect of the invention, said first portion of said first sleeve is threaded into said third and fifth bores of said first flanges and into said seventh and ninth bores of said bearings, and said first portion of said second sleeve is threaded into said fourth and sixth bores of said first flanges and into said eighth and tenth bores of said bearings.

[0026] The invention also proposes an aircraft comprising a propulsion system, a reactor mast and at least one device as described previously, said propulsion system being coupled to the reactor mast by said at least one device, where said base is fixed to said propulsion system and where said first and second nuts are integral with said reactor mast. [0036] DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF AN EXAMPLE OF EMBODIMENT

[0037] [Fig.l] shows an aircraft 10 which comprises a propulsion system 102, for example of the turbojet or turboprop type. The propulsion system 102 is linked to a wing 104 of the aircraft 10 via a reactor mast 106.

[0038] In the following description, the terms relating to a position are taken with reference to an aircraft in normal flight position, that is to say as it is shown in [Fig.l] and the "front" and "rear" positions are taken with respect to the front and rear of the propulsion system 102 and with respect to the direction of advance F of the aircraft 10 when the propulsion system 102 is operating.

[0039] In the following description, and by convention, we call X the longitudinal direction of the propulsion system which is horizontal when the aircraft is on the ground, we calls Y the transverse direction which is horizontal when the aircraft is on the ground, and Z the vertical direction which is vertical when the aircraft is on the ground, these three directions X, Y and Z being orthogonal to each other.

[0040] The reactor mast 106 and the propulsion system 102 have a vertical median plane XZ and the propulsion system 102 is here a turboprop with a propeller 102a, but it could be of the double-flow turbojet type with a nacelle.

[0041] The principle of the invention consists in providing a device 2 for coupling a propulsion system 102 to the engine pylon 106 of an aircraft 10 using at least two fixing screws which are arranged adjacently and which therefore extend parallel to each other. As described in more detail below, the fixing screws may for example extend next to each other, in an axis substantially parallel to the horizontal plane XY (as illustrated in Figs. 3 to 5), or one above the other, in a plane substantially parallel to the vertical plane XZ (as illustrated in Figs. 6 and 7). Other arrangements of the at least two fixing screws, not illustrated, may also be envisaged.

[0042] The implementation of at least two adjacent fixing screws makes it possible to provide a solution in the event of failure of the single fixing screw generally implemented. The risk of complete loss of the device 2 for coupling the propulsion system 102 to the engine mast 106 is therefore reduced. The arrangement of the fixing screws next to each other or above each other (or any other arrangement) may in particular be chosen as a function of the direction of the dominant forces that the coupling device 2 will undergo and / or as a function of the space available within the engine mast 106 to fix the propulsion system 102 there.

[0043] Furthermore, this solution makes it possible to provide a multiple path (via the different fixing screws) for transferring the forces generated by the propulsion system 102 to the reactor mast 106.

[0044] Figs. 3 and 4 show a device 2 for coupling a propulsion system 102 to the engine pylon 106 of the aircraft 10 according to a main embodiment of the invention. The device 2 is here illustrated horizontally so that the elements can be described in relation to the orthonormal reference frame X, Y and Z described above. It is obviously understood that the device 2 can be arranged and oriented differently in order to adapt to the propulsion system 102 and the engine pylon 106 to which the device is attached. [Fig.4] illustrates a top view in section along the section plane A. The section plane A is a plane parallel to the horizontal plane XY passing through the axis of the first and second fixing screws described in more detail in the remainder of this description.

[0045] In this example, the device 2 for coupling a propulsion system 102 to the reactor mast 106 uses two fixing screws which are arranged side by side and which extend parallel to each other. A greater number of fixing screws is possible without departing from the principle of the invention.

[0046] In this example, the device 2 comprises a base 20 having a substantially inverted T shape. This base 20 comprises a substantially planar base 200, which in this illustration extends in a plane parallel to the horizontal plane XY. The base 200 is intended to be fixed to the propulsion system 102 by fixing means such as serial screw elements.

[0047] To do this, the base 200 has, in this example, holes 205 provided at least at each corner of the base 200. The holes 205 are each intended to receive a fixing screw to allow fixing by screwing. Other techniques for fixing the base to the propulsion system are conceivable, such as riveting or welding in particular.

[0048] The base 20 comprises a first wall 201 which extends substantially perpendicular to the base 200, that is to say in a plane parallel to the vertical plane YZ. The first wall 201 comprises a first bore 202a (here port) and a second bore 202b (here starboard), which extend respectively along a first longitudinal axis 5a and a second longitudinal axis 5b which are here shown substantially parallel to the base 200 of the base 20, that is to say in a plane parallel to the horizontal plane XY. In this example, the first 202a and second 202b bores are adjacent and more particularly arranged next to each other (in the orientation illustrated in this example).

[0049] The base 20 may also comprise, as in this example, reinforcing side walls 203 extending between the base 200 and the first wall 201, at the lateral edges of the base 20, so as to absorb mechanical forces. In this example, the side walls 203 have a triangular shape.

[0050] The device 2 also comprises a first sleeve 50a (here port) and a second sleeve 50b (here starboard). The first 50a and second 50b sleeves are similar here and therefore each comprise a first portion 502a (here port), 502b (here starboard), at least a part of which is respectively received in the first 202a and second 202b bores of the base 20. The first 50a and second 50b sleeves each comprise a second portion 504a (here port) and 504b (here starboard), a first end of which extends from and in the extension of the first portion 502a, 502b in the direction of the engine pylon 106. As illustrated in [Fig.4], the free end of the second portion 504a, 504b is intended to cooperate with the engine pylon 106.More precisely, the free ends of the second portions 504a, 504b are each fitted into a housing, respectively first housing 107a (here port) and second housing 107b (here starboard), arranged in the reactor mast 106.

[0051] In this example, the first 502a, 502b and second 504a, 504b portions are separated by a shoulder, respectively 508a (here port) and 508b (here starboard), making it possible to optimize the positioning of the sleeves 50a, 50b.

[0052] The first sleeve 50a further comprises a first central bore 506a (here port) extending coaxially to the first longitudinal axis 5a while the second sleeve 50b comprises a second central bore 506b (here starboard) extending coaxially to the second longitudinal axis 5b. The first 506a and second 506b central bores are intended to receive respectively a first fixing screw 221a (here port) and a second fixing screw 221b (here starboard) described below.

[0053] The device 2 comprises fixing means 22 which make it possible to fix the device 2 to the reactor mast 106. To do this, the fixing means 22 comprise a first nut 220a (here port) and a second nut 220b (here starboard) secured to the reactor mast 106 and a first fixing screw 221a (here port) and a second fixing screw 221b (here starboard). In this example, the first 220a and second 220b nuts secured to the reactor mast 106 are of the captive type, but any other type of nut which can be secured to the reactor mast can be used.A mounting clearance is provided between the free ends of the second portions 504a, 504b of the sleeves 50a, 50b and the first 220a and second 220b nuts, so as to allow the deformation of the bearings described below when tightening the first 221a and second 221b fixing screws and so as to allow compression of the spacer 30 between the second rear flange 282b and the engine mast 106.

[0054] The first 221a and second 221b fixing screws respectively comprise a first 222a (here port) and a second 222b (here starboard) fixing head arranged opposite the engine pylon 106 and bearing against a second front flange 282a (described below). The first 221a and second 221b fixing screws respectively comprise a first 223a (here port) and a second 223b (here starboard) threaded rod. The first threaded rod extends from the first fixing head 222a along the first longitudinal axis 5a while the second threaded rod 223b extends from the second fixing head 222b along the second longitudinal axis 5b.

[0055] The first 223a and second 223b threaded rods are respectively threaded into the first 506a and second 506b central bores of the first 50a and second 50b sleeves. The first 223a and second 223b threaded rods have a length greater than the length of the first 50a and second 50b sleeves so that they can be screwed respectively into the first 220a and the second 220b nuts secured to the engine pylon 106. The sleeves 50a, 50b make it possible to transfer the shear forces generated by the propulsion system 102 to the engine pylon 106, in particular via the fixing means 22.

[0056] This particular arrangement of the fixing screws 221a, 221b next to each other, i.e. parallel in a plane parallel to the horizontal plane XY, makes it possible to provide a solution in the event of failure of one of the fixing screws. Arranging the fixing screws 221a, 221b adjacent and parallel in a plane parallel to the horizontal plane XY makes it possible to provide a device 2 particularly suitable for supporting the forces generated by the propulsion system 102 having a dominant direction along the Y axis, by providing the possibility of taking up the moment Mz.

[0057] The device 2 further comprises a pair of first flanges comprising a first front flange 242a and a first rear flange 242b. The first front flange 242a and rear flange 242b are fixed respectively on either side of the first wall 201 of the base 20. In this example, the fixing of the first front flange 242a and rear flange 242b to the first wall 201 is carried out by screw elements located near the lateral edges of the first wall 201. It is understood, however, that other fixing means can be envisaged without departing from the principle of the invention.

[0058] The first front flange 242a comprises a third bore 244a (here port) and a fourth bore 244a' (here starboard) extending respectively coaxially to the first longitudinal axis 5a and to the second longitudinal axis 5b. The first rear flange 242b comprises a fifth bore 244b (here port) and a sixth bore 244b' (here starboard) extending respectively coaxially to the first longitudinal axis 5a and to the second longitudinal axis 5b.

[0059] The dimensions of these bores 244a, 244b and 244a', 244b' are configured to allow the reception respectively of the first portion 502a of the sleeve 50a and the first portion 502b of the sleeve 50b. In this example, a radial mounting clearance is provided between the bores 244a, 244a', 244b, 244b' and the first portions 502a, 502b of the sleeves 50a, 50b, to allow deformation of the bearings (described below) up to a predetermined load level.

[0060] The device 2 comprises at least one pair of pads which allows a predetermined deformation of the device 2 in order to absorb at least part of the forces generated by the propulsion system 102. The implementation of these pads makes it possible to obtain a “flexible attachment”.

[0061] In this example, the device 2 comprises two pads, namely a front pad 262a and a rear pad 262b. The front pads 262a and rear pads 262b are arranged respectively to bear against the first front flange 242a and the first rear flange 242b.

[0062] The front bearing 262a comprises a seventh bore 264a (here port) and an eighth bore 264a' (here starboard) extending respectively coaxially with the first longitudinal axis 5a and to the second longitudinal axis 5b. The rear bearing 262b comprises a ninth bore 264b (here port) and tenth bore 264b' (here starboard) extending respectively coaxially to the first longitudinal axis 5a and to the second longitudinal axis 5b.

[0063] The dimensions of these bores 264a, 264b and 264a', 264b' are configured to allow the reception respectively of the first portion 502a of the first sleeve 50a and of the first portion 502b of the second sleeve 50b. In this example, a radial mounting clearance is provided between the bores 264a, 264a', 264b, 264b' and the first portions 502a, 502b of the sleeves 50a, 50b, to allow deformation of the bearings up to a predetermined load level. In this example, the bearings 262a, 262b are made of elastomer whose elasticity can be selected according to the desired maximum deformation, for example.

[0064] The device 2 further comprises a pair of second flanges comprising a second front flange 282a and a second rear flange 282b. The second front flange 282a and rear flange 282b are arranged respectively on either side of the first wall 201 of the base 20. More precisely, the second front flange 282a and rear flange 282b respectively bear against the front 262a and rear 262b pads so that the front pad 262a is sandwiched between the first front flange 242a and the second front flange 282a and the rear pad 262b is sandwiched between the first rear flange 242b and the second rear flange 282b.

[0065] The second front flange 282a comprises an eleventh bore 284a (here port) and a twelfth bore 284a' (here starboard) extending respectively coaxially to the first longitudinal axis 5a and to the second longitudinal axis 5b. The second rear flange 282b comprises a thirteenth bore 284b (here port) and a fourteenth bore 284b' (here starboard) extending respectively coaxially to the first longitudinal axis 5a and to the second longitudinal axis 5b.

[0066] The dimensions of these bores 284a, 284b and 284a', 284b' are configured to allow the reception respectively of the first portion 502a of the first sleeve 50a and of the first portion 502b of the second sleeve 50b. In this example, no radial mounting clearance is provided between the bores 284a, 284a', 284b, 284b' and the first portions 502a, 502b of the sleeves 50a, 50b in order to allow joint radial displacement between the sleeves 50a, 50b and the second front 282a and rear 282b flanges. In particular, the first and second base portions 21, 22 move relative to the sleeves 50a and 50b and to the second front 282a and rear 282b flanges due to the deformation of the pads 262a, 262b. The sleeves 50a, 50b will drive the second front 282a and rear 282b flanges, which in turn cause the deformation of the pads 262a, 262b.

[0067] The second front flange 282a and rear flange 282b each comprise, on their face 287a, 287b being located opposite each other when the device 2 is assembled, that is to say on the face in contact with a bearing, first 288a and second 288a' recesses and third 288b and fourth 288b' recesses. More precisely, the second front flange 282a comprises a first recess 288a (here port) arranged on the face 287a allowing the free end of the first portion 502a of the first sleeve 50a to be received and a second recess 288a' (here starboard) arranged on the face 287a allowing the free end of the first portion 502b of the second sleeve 50b to be received. In this example, a mounting clearance is provided between the recesses 288a, 288a' and the first portions 502a, 502b of the sleeves 50a, 50b to allow deformation of the pads 262a, 262b when screwing in the first fixing screws 221a, 221b.

[0068] The second rear flange 282b comprises a third recess 288b (here port) arranged on the face 287b, making it possible to receive the shoulder 508a separating the first 502a and second 504a portions of the first sleeve 50a. The second rear flange 282b comprises a fourth recess 288b' (here starboard) arranged on the face 287b making it possible to receive the shoulder 508b separating the first 502b and second 504b portions of the second sleeve 50b.

[0069] The device 2 also comprises, for each sleeve 50a and 50b, a spacer 30a, 30b intended to be arranged between the second rear flange 282b and the engine mast 106, and to bear against the second rear flange 282b and the engine mast 106 when the device 2 is assembled. In this example, a single spacer 30a, 30b is implemented for each sleeve 50a and 50b. When the first 221a and second 221b fixing screws are tightened, the spacers 30a, 30b are therefore compressed between the second rear flange 282b and the engine mast 106.

[0070] The first spacer 30a (here port) comprises a third central bore 32a extending coaxially to the first longitudinal axis 5a and the second spacer 30b (here starboard) comprises a fourth central bore 32b (here starboard) extending coaxially to the second longitudinal axis 5b. The dimensions of the third 32a and fourth 32b central bores are configured to allow the reception respectively of the second portion 504a of the first sleeve 50a and of the second portion 504b of the second sleeve 50b. More specifically, the first spacer 30a is threaded onto the second portion 504a of the first sleeve 50a and therefore extends around the second portion 504a of said first sleeve 50a, while the second spacer 30b is threaded onto the second portion 504b of the second sleeve 50b and therefore extends around the second portion 504b of said second sleeve 50b.

[0071] The first portion 502a of the first sleeve 50a is therefore threaded into the third 244a and fifth 244b bores of the first flanges 242a, 242b, in the seventh 264a and ninth 264b bores of the bearings 262a, 262b, in the eleventh 284a and thirteenth 284b bores of the second flanges 262a, 262b.

[0072] Furthermore, the first fixing head 222a of the first fixing screw 221a bears against the second front flange 282a and the first threaded rod 223a of the first fixing screw 221a is threaded through the first central bore 506a of the first sleeve 50a to be screwed to the first nut 220a secured to the engine mast 106.

[0073] In the same way, the first portion 502b of the second sleeve 50b is therefore threaded into the fourth 244a' and sixth 244b' bores of the first flanges 242a, 242b, into the eighth 264a' and tenth 264b' bores of the bearings 262a, 262b, into the twelfth 284a' and fourteenth 284b' bores of the second flanges 262a, 262b.

[0074] Furthermore, the second fixing head 222b of the second fixing screw 221b bears against the second front flange 282a and the second threaded rod 223b of the second fixing screw 221b is threaded through the second central bore 506b of the second sleeve 50b to be screwed to the second nut 220b secured to the engine mast 106.

[0075] Thus, the implementation of the spacers 30a, 30b and the second flanges 282a, 282b therefore makes it possible, when screwing the first 221a and second 221b fixing screws, to tighten the elements of the device 2 together.

[0076] The device 2 can optionally implement a first cylinder 60a and a second protective cylinder 60b which are respectively fitted onto at least a portion of the first portion 502a of the first sleeve 50a and onto at least a portion of the first portion 502b of the second sleeve 50b. The cylinders 60a, 60b make it possible to protect the sleeves 50a, 50b from possible contact and friction of the latter with the base 20 during the deformation of the pads 262a, 262b.

[0077] In a first variant of the main embodiment, and as illustrated in [Fig. 5], the first 221a and second 221b adjacent fixing screws are no longer arranged next to each other but one above the other. In other words, in this variant, the first 5a and second 5b longitudinal axes are arranged parallel in a plane generally perpendicular to the base 200 of the base 20, that is to say in a plane generally parallel to the vertical plane XZ. This particular arrangement of the fixing screws 221a, 221b one above the other (in the orientation illustrated) makes it possible to provide a solution in the event of failure of one of the fixing screws. Arranging the fixing screws 221a, 221b adjacent and parallel in a plane parallel to the vertical plane XZ makes it possible to provide a device 2 particularly suitable for supporting the forces generated by the system propulsion 102 having a dominant direction along the Z axis, providing the possibility of resuming the moment My.

[0078] In this variant, the elements constituting the device 2 are identical (with the exception of the arrangement of the first 5a and second 5b longitudinal axes) and are therefore not described again. It is obviously understood that the arrangement of the different bores of the device 2 is adapted to the arrangement of the first 5a and second 5b longitudinal axes.

[0079] In this example, the device 2 for coupling a propulsion system 102 to the reactor mast 106 uses two fixing screws which are arranged one above the other and which extend parallel. A greater number of fixing screws is conceivable without departing from the principle of the invention.

[0080] According to a third and a fourth variant, illustrated respectively in Figs. 6 and 7 and compatible with the examples described previously, the device 2 implements a solution in the event of failure of the base 20 (such as a crack at the base 200, for example). To do this, the base 20 is divided so as to comprise a first 21 and a second 23 base parts 20. In this way, if one of the first 21 or second 22 base parts 20 fails, the other base part makes it possible to ensure that the propulsion system 102 is coupled to the engine pylon 106. The risk of complete loss of the device 2 for coupling the propulsion system 102 to the engine pylon 106 is therefore reduced. In addition, this solution also makes it possible to provide a multiple path (via the first and second base parts) for transferring the forces generated by the propulsion system 102 to the reactor mast 106.

[0081] More precisely, each of the first 21 and second 23 parts is in the form of an L whose vertical portions are joined to each other during the assembly of the device 2. The first part 21 comprises a first base wall 210 extending in a plane parallel to the horizontal plane XY from which a second wall 212 extends perpendicularly, which therefore extends in a plane parallel to the vertical plane YZ. The second wall 212 comprises a fifteenth and a sixteenth bore (not visible in the figures) extending respectively coaxially to the first longitudinal axis 5a and to the second longitudinal axis 5b.

[0082] The second part 23 of base 20 comprises a second base wall 230 extending in a plane parallel to the horizontal plane XY and from which a third wall 232 extends perpendicularly, which therefore extends in a plane parallel to the vertical plane YZ. The third wall 232 comprises a seventeenth bore and an eighteenth bore (not visible in the figures) extending respectively coaxially to the first longitudinal axis 5a and to the second longitudinal axis 5b.

[0083] The first 21 and second 23 base parts 20 are arranged to bear against each other against each other so that: the second wall 212 and the third wall 232 are placed against each other and together form the first wall 201 of the base 20, the first base wall 210 and the second base wall 230 together form the base 200 of the base 20, the fifteenth and seventeenth bores together form the first bore 202a of the base 20, the sixteenth and eighteenth bores together form the second bore 202b of the base 20.

[0084] It is therefore understood that this variant, implementing a base 20 comprising a first 21 and a second 23 base parts, can be used whatever the arrangement of the fixing screws, such as for example one next to the other according to [Fig.6], one above the other according to [Fig.7], or any other arrangement which is not illustrated.

[0085] In another variant, illustrated in [Fig.8], it is conceivable that the base 20 comprising two parts 21, 23 further comprises centering means 40 for the first 21 and second 23 base parts 20 relative to each other relative to the direction X, and more precisely relative to the first 5a and second 5b longitudinal axes. These centering means 40 make it possible to facilitate the positioning of the first 21 and second 23 base parts 20 with respect to each other and the assembly of the different elements of the device 2. The centering means 40 also make it possible to improve the holding of the first 21 and second 23 base parts 20 relative to each other, for example during a failure of one of the first 21 and second 23 base parts 20.

[0086] For example, such centering means 40 may comprise a first male cylinder 41a and a second male cylinder 41b extending respectively coaxially to the first longitudinal axis 5a and to the second longitudinal axis 5b. These first and second male cylinders 41a, 41b are carried and project from a first contact face of the part 21 or of the part 22 of the base 20. Each of the first and second male cylinders 41a, 41b is intended to cooperate respectively with a first female cylindrical housing 42a and a corresponding second female cylindrical housing 42b extending respectively coaxially to the first longitudinal axis 5a and to the second longitudinal axis 5b. The first and second female cylindrical housings 42a, 42b are provided in a second contact face of the other of the parts 21, 22. The first and second faces are arranged opposite each other when the first 21 and second 23 parts of the base 20 are assembled.
