Abstract
Description
Title of the invention: Electrical power supply system for a building
[0001] The invention relates to an electrical power supply system for a building.
[0002] Such a system is electrically connected to an electricity supply network and makes it possible to supply a certain number of receivers arranged in different locations in the building.
[0003] The invention applies in particular, but not exclusively, to a building comprising an infrastructure for recharging electric vehicles. In this case, the electrical supply system comprises, in addition to an installation for supplying the dwellings or offices of the building, a first installation for supplying the electrical recharging terminals, in a car park, and a second, separate installation for supplying the general services (lighting of the stairways, car parks, elevators, etc.). Thus, in the car park, the first and second electrical installations coexist.
[0004] In the event of a fire in the parking lot, the firefighters intervene directly in the parking lot with light means such as fire extinguishers. If, despite this, the fire worsens, the firefighters must use fire hoses. The power supply must then be cut off beforehand to avoid any electrocution.
[0005] The first installation is conventionally cut off at a disconnect switch box located in the car park. On the other hand, the second installation is cut off either from a technical room or from a general collective box located at the roadside. In either case, the firefighters lose valuable time moving from the car park, looking for the technical room or the general collective box, possibly forcing it open, performing the cut off, then returning to the car park where the entire power supply is now cut off, to finally be able to use the water spray.
[0006] Faced with this problem, one difficulty lies in the fact that, in France, the first installation is subject to a first standard (NF C 14-100) and governed by the electricity supply network manager, namely ENEDIS, while the second installation is subject to a second standard (NF C 15-100) and managed by electricians.
[0007] This complicates obtaining a solution to the aforementioned problem, because any electrical component must satisfy one or other of these standards, depending on the installation in which it is installed, it being further specified that the approval of a new component involves an extremely long and restrictive process.
[0008] The invention aims to secure the intervention of firefighters in an area of a building where two separate electrical installations coexist.
[0009] To this end, the invention relates to an electrical power supply system for a building, the electrical power supply system being intended to be electrically connected to an electricity supply network and comprising: - a first installation located in a first area of the building and comprising: - a plurality of first receivers; - a first cable supplying said first receivers; - a cut-off device mounted on the first cable upstream of the first receivers, capable of occupying an inactive state, in normal operation, in which it authorizes the passage of current in the first cable, or an active state in which it prevents the passage of current in the first cable; - a second installation distinct from the first installation and comprising: - a plurality of second receivers, at least one of the second receivers being located in the first zone and at least one of the second receivers being located in a second zone of the building distinct from the first zone; - a second cable supplying said second receivers with a current of intensity I.
[0010] According to a general definition of the invention, the electrical power supply system further comprises a system for cutting off the second installation which is automatically controllable remotely by the cutting device of the first installation and which comprises: - a first electrical distribution device having a first caliber Il < I, controlled by the cut-off device of the first installation between a passing state, in normal operation, and a non-passing state; - a second electrical distribution member having a second gauge 12 > I, connected to the second cable and controlled by the first electrical distribution member so that, when the first electrical distribution member is in the on state, the second electrical distribution member is in the on state and when the first electrical distribution member is in the off state, the second electrical distribution member is in the off state, to authorize or prevent the passage of the electric current in the second cable to the second receivers,
[0011] so that the transition of the cut-off device of the first installation from the inactive state to the active state causes the cut-off of the electrical supply both in the first installation and in the second installation.
[0012] Thus, the invention allows a centralized cut-off of the two separate power supplies, the cut-off of the second power supply being obtained automatically when the cut-off device of the first installation is activated. A person, in particular a firefighter, can thus carry out these two cut-offs very quickly, in a single action, from the same location. This is particularly advantageous in the case where the first and second zones are separated from each other by at least one wall, for example a floor between two floors of the building, and / or by a staircase, which makes moving from one zone to the other relatively long and potentially problematic in the event of a fire.
[0013] Furthermore, by providing two electrical distribution members in the electrical supply system, it can be ensured that each of them is adapted to the electrical installation to which it belongs, that is to say in particular that it meets the corresponding standard. Thus, for example, if it is necessary for the first electrical distribution member to meet the standard governing the first installation, this is not necessary for the second electrical distribution member.
[0014] Such a two-part implementation of the cut-off function also makes it possible to overcome the rating constraints for the first electrical distribution member. It is thus possible to implement a first electrical distribution member having a rating that is insufficient for the second electrical installation, but which is suitable for this first electrical distribution member to be able to be controlled by the cut-off device of the first installation and for it to be able to control the second distribution member. By "rating" of an electrical component is meant the maximum current admissible by this component.
[0015] In practice, each of the first and second cables may include a neutral conductor and at least one phase conductor.
[0016] The first electrical distribution member is for example connected to the first cable, preferably downstream of the cut-off device of the first installation.
[0017] The cut-off device of the first installation is for example located in the first zone of the building.
[0018] According to one embodiment, the first installation is governed by a first standard and managed by a first user, and the second installation is governed by a second standard, distinct from the first standard, and managed by a second user. For example, the first standard may be the NF C 14-100 standard, the first user being an employee of the electricity supply network manager, namely ENEDIS, while the second standard may be the NF C 15-100 standard, the second user being an electrician. In addition, the first electrical distribution member complies with both the first standard and the second standard, and the second electrical distribution member complies with the second standard, for example only to the second standard.
[0019] The invention thus makes it possible to use a first electrical distribution member which is approved for both installations but does not have a sufficient rating to be connected directly to the second installation, in a context where no electrical distribution member of sufficient rating is approved for the first installation.
[0020] According to a possible embodiment, each of the first and second electrical distribution members comprises an input portion and an output portion. The input portion of the first electrical distribution member can be connected to the first cable, downstream of the cut-off device of the first installation; the output portion of the first electrical distribution member can be connected to the input portion of the second electrical distribution member and can be connected to the second cable; the output portion of the second electrical distribution member can be connected to the second cable.
[0021] The input portion and the output portion may each comprise two terminals, namely respectively two input terminals and two output terminals.
[0022] The input terminals of the first electrical distribution member can be connected one to the neutral conductor and the other to a phase conductor of the first cable.
[0023] An output terminal of the first electrical distribution member may be connected to an input terminal of the second electrical distribution member, and the other output terminal of the first electrical distribution member may be connected to one of the phase conductors of the second cable (or the neutral conductor), while the other input terminal of the second electrical distribution member is connected to the neutral conductor of the second cable (or, respectively, to one of the phase conductors). The connection may be made by a single wire.
[0024] The output terminals of the second electrical distribution member may be connected to the same phase conductor of the second cable. More specifically, the output portion of the second electrical distribution member may be placed in series in a phase conductor of the second cable.
[0025] The first and / or second electrical distribution member may comprise - or consist of - a relay. Such a relay may comprise: - a transmission circuit equipped with a switch which is in the closed position during normal operation; - and a control circuit capable of allowing the switch to move to an open position, said control circuit preferably comprising an actuator coupled to the switch and an electromagnet capable of moving the actuator.
[0026] The closed position of the switch corresponds to the on state of the control member. electrical supply, allowing the passage of electric current; the open position of the switch corresponds to the non-conducting state of the electrical distribution device, preventing the passage of electric current.
[0027] According to a possible embodiment, at rest, that is to say when no force is applied to it, the switch is in the open position. The control circuit, when powered, causes the switch to move to its closed position and ensures that it is maintained in this position. From this state, when the control circuit ceases to be powered, it can no longer maintain the switch in the closed position and therefore allows the switch to return to the open position.
[0028] In such an embodiment, the transmission circuit corresponds to the input part of the electrical distribution member, and the control circuit corresponds to the output part.
[0029] The control circuit of the first relay can be connected to the first cable, downstream of the cut-off device of the first installation. The control circuit of the second relay can be connected to the transmission circuit of the first relay, and can be connected to the second cable. The transmission circuit of the second relay can be connected to the second cable.
[0030] For example, the supply current I of the second receivers is greater than 15 A, 20 A, 30 A or 50 A. The rating II of the first electrical distribution member may be less than 10 A, 5 A or 3 A.
[0031] According to one possible embodiment, the first receivers are electric vehicle charging stations. The first installation is therefore an electric vehicle charging installation, the first area of the building typically being a parking lot. Other embodiments are however possible. Thus, the first receivers could be photovoltaic panels, for example located on the roof of the building.
[0032] According to a possible embodiment, the second installation is the installation of the general services of the building, comprising the common areas and the technical rooms.
[0033] The electrical supply system may further comprise a third installation located in a third zone of the building and comprising a third cable for supplying power to rooms of the building, such as dwellings or offices, the power supply by said third installation being independent of the cut-off device of the first installation and of the cut-off system of the second installation. By "independent" is meant that neither the cut-off device of the first installation nor the cut-off system of the second installation can cause the power supply to be cut off via the third cable.
[0034] Furthermore, the electrical power supply system may comprise a general cut-off device arranged between, on the one hand, the electricity supply network and on the other hand the first and second installations (as well as the third installation, when present), upstream of the cut-off device of the first installation.
[0035] According to one embodiment, the first installation comprises a housing comprising a base and a cover forming an enclosure which receives: - a portion of the first cable which includes a junction zone of said first cable with the first electrical distribution member; - the first electrical distribution body; - connecting wires between the first cable and the first distribution member electric;
[0036] the enclosure being closed except for downstream and upstream orifices for the passage of conductors of the first cable and orifices for the passage of connection wires between the first electrical distribution member and the second electrical distribution member.
[0037] The housing further comprises first locking means between the base and the cover which can only be manipulated by a first user.
[0038] In addition, the cover comprises a main wall provided with an opening and a cover capable of being placed in a closed position, in which the cover closes said opening, or in an open position allowing access only to a connection zone to an output part of the first electrical distribution member (namely, preferably, a part intended to be connected to the second electrical distribution member and to the second cable), the housing comprising second locking means for holding the cover in the closed position, which can be manipulated only by a second user.
[0039] The first user may be an employee of an electricity supplier; the first locking means may include a seal. The second user may be an electrician; the second locking means may include a lock. Each of the users thus only has access to the equipment and components on which he is authorized to work.
[0040] According to a possible embodiment, it is possible to provide in each junction zone a branch connector comprising on the one hand a clamping jaw for a conductor of the first cable and on the other hand a terminal to which a connecting wire is connected between the first cable and the first electrical distribution member.
[0041] A possible embodiment of the invention is now described, by way of non-limiting example, with reference to the appended figures:
[0042] [Fig-1] is a schematic view of a building comprising a power supply system electric according to one embodiment of the invention;
[0043] [Fig.2] is a schematic view of part of the electrical power supply system of [Fig.l];
[0044] [Fig.3] is a schematic view of a housing belonging to the power supply system of [Fig.l].
[0045] [Fig.l] represents a building 1 equipped with an electrical supply system 2. By “building” is meant any construction (residential or tertiary building, factory, etc.), whether for private or public use.
[0046] The electrical power supply system 2 is electrically connected to an electricity supply network 3, via a general cut-off device 4 which is for example located at the edge of the property and may also include a protection device.
[0047] The electrical power supply system 2 comprises a first installation 100 which comprises a plurality of first receivers 101 and a first cable 102 connecting the general cut-off device 4 to said first receivers 101 for supplying the latter with electricity. The first installation 100 is located in a first zone 103 of the building 1.
[0048] In the embodiment illustrated by way of example, the first installation 100 is an electric vehicle charging installation 104. The first receivers 101 are thus electric vehicle charging stations. The first zone 103 of the building 1 is then a parking lot, which may perhaps be at ground level, underground or elevated.
[0049] According to an alternative embodiment not shown, the first installation could be an installation of solar panels located for example on the roof of the building.
[0050] The electrical power supply system 2 also comprises a second installation 200 which comprises a plurality of second receivers 201 and a second cable 202 supplying said second receivers 201 with a current of intensity I, from the electricity supply network 3. At least one of the second receivers 201 is located in the first zone 103 of the building 1, and at least one of the second receivers 201 is located in a second zone 203 of the building 1 which is distinct from the first zone 103.
[0051] The value of I is for example between 15 and 60 A.
[0052] In the embodiment illustrated by way of example, the second installation 200 is the general services installation of the building 1, comprising the common areas and the technical rooms. The second receivers 201 may in particular include light sources in stairways of the building 1, in the parking lot, the elevators, etc.
[0053] In [Fig.l] a boundary 5 is shown between the first and second zones 103, 203. This boundary 5 may for example comprise a wall, such as here a horizontal wall separating an underground car park and the space of the building located above ground.
[0054] The electrical power supply system 2 may further comprise a third installation 300 located in a third zone 303 of the building 1. The third installation 300 comprises a third cable 302 supplying rooms 301 of the building 1 such as dwellings or offices. The rooms of the building, or each of the electrical equipment contained in these rooms, are third receivers.
[0055] The first cable 102 connects the general cut-off device 4 and each of the first receivers 101, a cut-off device 105 being placed in series in the first cable 102 upstream of the first receivers 101 and downstream of the general cut-off device 4. The cut-off device 105 can occupy an inactive state, in normal operation, in which it allows the passage of current in the first cable 102, or an active state in which it prevents the passage of current in the first cable 102.
[0056] The first receivers 101 may be arranged on branches 106 in parallel, which may each include a counter and a circuit breaker in the form of a protective fuse (not shown). Alternatively, a single counter and a single circuit breaker may be provided upstream of the branches 106.
[0057] Furthermore, according to a possible embodiment, the third cable 302 connects the general cut-off device 4 and an input distributor 305 downstream of which are connected on the one hand the parts 301 of the third installation 300, via other distributors 106, and on the other hand the second cable 202 of the second installation 200. The input distributor 305 can be located in a technical room of the building 1; it can include protective fuses.
[0058] In the embodiment shown, each of the first, second and third cables 102, 202, 302 comprises at least one phase conductor 6, here three phase conductors 6a, 6b, 6c, and a neutral conductor 7.
[0059] The electrical power supply system 2 further comprises a system 400 for cutting off the second installation 200, which can be controlled remotely.
[0060] The cut-off system 400 comprises a first electrical distribution member 410 which, in the embodiment shown, consists of a first relay.
[0061] The first relay 410 comprises a transmission circuit 411 provided with a switch 412, and a control circuit 413 capable of controlling the switch 412. The control circuit 413, which corresponds to an input part of the first relay 410, comprises two input terminals 414, and the transmission circuit 411, which corresponds to an output part of the first relay 410, comprises two output terminals 415.
[0062] The control circuit 413 of the first relay 410 is connected to the first cable 102, downstream of the cut-off device 105 of the first installation 100. More specifically, the input terminals 414 are connected one to the neutral conductor 7 and the other to a phase conductor 6 of the first cable 102, for example by wires 416.
[0063] The control circuit 413 may comprise an electromagnet 417 capable of acting on the movable part of the switch 412 to move it. For this purpose, the control circuit 413 may comprise an actuator (not shown) coupled to the switch 412 and capable of being moved by the electromagnet 417.
[0064] Thus, in normal operation, the cut-off device 105 being in the inactive state, that is to say authorizing the passage of current in the first cable 102, the first receivers 101 of the first installation 100 are powered by the first cable 102. In addition, the control circuit 413 is powered and maintains the switch 412 in the closed position. Current therefore flows in the transmission circuit 411. Thus, the first relay 410 is in the on state.
[0065] The cut-off system 400 also comprises a second electrical distribution member 420 which, in the embodiment shown, consists of a second relay.
[0066] The second relay 420 comprises a transmission circuit 421 provided with a switch 422, and a control circuit 423 capable of controlling the switch 422. The control circuit 423, which corresponds to an input part of the second relay 420, comprises two input terminals 424, and the transmission circuit 421, which corresponds to an output part of the second relay 420, comprises two output terminals 425.
[0067] The control circuit 423 of the second relay 420 is connected to the transmission circuit 411 of the first relay 410. More specifically, one of the output terminals 415 of the first relay 410 is connected to one of the input terminals 424 of the second relay 420 and the other of the output terminals 415 of the first relay 410 is connected to one of the phase conductors 6 of the second cable 202. These connections can each be made by a single wire 426. As for the other of the input terminals 424 of the second relay 420, it is connected to the neutral conductor 7 of the second cable 202. The connection can be made by a single wire 429.
[0068] Furthermore, the transmission circuit 421 of the second relay 420 is connected to the second cable 202, upstream of the second receivers 201. More specifically, the transmission circuit 421 of the second relay 420, and therefore in particular the switch 422, is placed in series in a phase conductor 6 of the second cable 202.
[0069] According to a variant, instead of being connected to one of the phase conductors 6 of the second cable 202, the relevant output terminal 415 of the first relay 410 could be connected to the neutral conductor 7 of the second cable 202 and, instead of being connected to the neutral conductor 7 of the second cable 202, the relevant input terminal 424 of the second relay 420 would then be connected to one of the phase conductors 6.
[0070] As for the transmission circuit 421 of the second relay 420, it could be placed in series in the neutral conductor 7 of the second cable 202.
[0071] The control circuit 423 may comprise an electromagnet 427 capable of acting on the movable part of the switch 422 to move it. For this purpose, the control circuit 423 may comprise an actuator (not shown) coupled to the switch 422 and capable of being moved by the electromagnet 427.
[0072] Thus, in normal operation, the transmission circuit 411 of the first relay 410 being powered, the control circuit 423 of the second relay 420 is also powered and keeps the switch 422 in the closed position. Current therefore flows in the transmission circuit 421 and, consequently, in the second cable 202. Thus, the first relay 410 is in the on state. The second receivers 201 of the second installation 200 are therefore powered.
[0073] The first electrical distribution member 410 - or first relay 410 - is controlled by the cut-off device 105 of the first installation 100 between the on state, in normal operation, and a non-on state. The second electrical distribution member 420 - or second relay 420 - is controlled by the first relay 410, that is to say indirectly controlled by the cut-off device 105.
[0074] Thus, from the normal operating state, where: - the cut-off device 105 of the first installation 100 is in the inactive state, that is to say authorizes the passage of current in the first cable 102, and therefore the power supply of the first receivers 101; - the first relay 410 is in the on state, with the first switch 412 in the closed position; - the second relay 420 is in the on state, with the second switch 422 in the closed position, the passage of current in the second cable 202 thus being authorized and the second receivers 201 being powered;
[0075] the cut-off system 400 makes it possible to remotely control the cut-off of the power supply to the second installation 200, i.e. to prevent the power supply to the second receivers 201.
[0076] To do this, a user switches the cut-off device 105 of the first installation 100 from the inactive state to the active state, which prevents the flow of current in the first cable 102 and therefore cuts off the power supply to the first receivers 101. As a result, the control circuit 413 of the first relay 410 is no longer powered and the switch 412 therefore switches to an open position. Consequently, the control circuit 423 of the second relay 410 is no longer powered either and the switch 422 therefore also switches to an open position. It follows that the power supply to the second receivers 201 is no longer provided by the second cable 202.
[0077] In summary, the transition of the cut-off device 105 of the first installation 100 from the inactive state to the active state causes the power supply to be cut off at the same time in the first installation 100, directly, and in the second installation 200, via the cut-off system 400.
[0078] On the other hand, the power supply of the third receivers 301 by the third installation 300 is independent of the cut-off device 105 of the first installation 100 and of the cut-off system 400 of the second installation 200.
[0079] Symmetrically, the transition of the cut-off device 105 of the first installation 100 from the active state to the inactive state allows the return of the electrical power supply both in the first installation 100 and in the second installation 200.
[0080] A notable point is that the first electrical distribution member 410 has a relatively low first caliber II, lower than the intensity I of the current supplying the second receivers 201. For example, 11 is of the order of 2 A. As for the second electrical distribution member 420, it has a larger second caliber 12, greater than or equal to the intensity I of the current supplying the second receivers 201. For example, 12 is between 20 and 60 A, and may be of the order of 30 A. With these caliber values, the first electrical distribution member 410 cannot be placed in series in the second cable 202, but the second electrical distribution member 420 can.
[0081] This configuration of the electrical supply system 2 with two relays 410, 420 of different calibers II, 12 finds a practical application in the case where two electrical installations subject to different standards coexist in the same area of the building.
[0082] This is precisely the case in the embodiment shown where the first installation 100 is governed by a first standard (NF C 14-100) and is the responsibility of the electricity supply network manager, namely ENEDIS, while the second installation 200 is governed by a second standard (NF C 15-100) and managed by electricians. In zone 103, there is cohabitation of these two installations 100, 200. In [Fig. 2], the dotted line referenced 8 schematically symbolizes the separation of the components according to whether they meet one or other of the aforementioned standards.
[0083] The invention uses a combination of a first relay 410, meeting both the first standard and the second standard but not having a sufficient gauge to be connected directly to the second cable 202, and a second relay 420 meeting the second standard but not the first standard, therefore not being able to be mounted on the first cable 102, and having a sufficient gauge to be connected directly to the second cable 202. The combination of the two relays 410, 420 therefore has all the properties required for its implementation in the power supply system 2 of the building 1, whereas any one of the relays 410, 420 would not have all the required properties on its own.
[0084] The invention also makes it possible to ensure galvanic isolation between the first installation 100 and the second installation 200 since there is no current flow between the first and second cables 102, 202.
[0085] We now refer to [Fig. 3] which illustrates a possible practical mode of installation of the first relay 410 in the first installation 100.
[0086] In this embodiment, the first installation 100 comprises a housing 150 comprising a base 151 and a cover 152 forming an enclosure.
[0087] In this enclosure is housed the first electrical distribution member - or first relay - 410. The enclosure also receives a portion 130 of the first cable 102 which includes a junction zone 135 of said first cable 102 with the first relay 410. Said portion 130 can include the corresponding portions of all the conductors 7, 6a, 6b, 6c of the first cable 102, as illustrated in [Fig. 3], or only the corresponding portions of the two conductors 6, 7 of the first cable 102 which are connected to the first relay 410.
[0088] The connecting wires 416 between the conductors 7, 6 of the first cable 102 and the input terminals 414 of the first relay 410 are also housed in the enclosure. According to a possible embodiment, a branch connector 140 is provided in each junction zone 135, illustrated schematically in [Fig. 3]. Such a branch connector 140 may comprise, on the one hand, a clamping jaw for the conductor 6, 7 concerned of the first cable 102, and, on the other hand, a terminal to which the connecting wire 416 to the first relay 410 is connected. Optionally, each branch connector 140 may comprise a protective fuse.
[0089] The enclosure is closed except for downstream orifices 133 and upstream orifices 134 for the passage of conductors 7, 6a, 6b, 6c of the first cable 102 and orifices 136 for the passage of the connection wires 426 between the output terminals 415 of the first relay 410 and the second relay 420 and the second cable 202.
[0090] In order to ensure that no unauthorized person can have access to the first cable 102, while guaranteeing the possibility for an electrician to connect to the output of the first relay 410, the arrangement described below can be provided.
[0091] The housing 150 comprises first locking means 161 between the base 151 and the cover 152 which can only be manipulated by a first user (or a group of first users), typically an employee of the electricity supply network manager. In concrete terms, the cover 152 can be assembled to the base 151 by any fastening means, including reversible means, such as screws 153. In addition, first locking means 161 are provided preventing the voluntary separation of the cover 152 and the base 151, unless this separation is carried out by the first user. These may be breakable means, showing that the housing 150 has been opened, and which can only be replaced by similar intact means by the first user. The first locking means 161 may for example include or consist of a seal.
[0092] Furthermore, the cover 152 comprises a main wall 154 provided with an opening 155 which is located opposite a connection zone 157 to the output part of the first relay 410. This connection zone 157 includes the space adjacent to the orifices 136 for the passage of the wires 426 and can extend to the first relay 410, including the output part of the first relay 410, or only the output terminals 415 of the first relay 410, or any other component itself connected to the output terminals 415 and which can be connected to the wires 426, such as a cage terminal 158 or the like.
[0093] The cover 152 further comprises a lid 156 capable of being placed in a closed position in which the cover 152 closes the opening 155 (as seen in [Fig. 3]), or in an open position. In the open position of the cover 156, the opening 155 allows access only to the connection zone 157 to the output part of the first relay 410. But the opening 155 does not allow access to other parts of the first relay 410, in particular the input part, nor to the first cable 102, which are parts managed exclusively by the employees of the electricity supply network manager.
[0094] The housing 150 further comprises second locking means 162 for holding the cover 152 in the closed position, which can be manipulated only by a second user. It may be a lock operable by a key possessed only by the second user (or a group of second users), but not by the first user.
[0095] It goes without saying that the invention is not limited to the embodiment described above by way of example but that it includes all technical equivalents and variants of the means described as well as their combinations.
