Abstract

The invention relates to an electric cooking appliance comprising a housing having a cooking vessel which delimits a cooking chamber, a lid (5) and a heating device. The lid (5) includes a first passage opening (6.1) having an air intake device (11.1) movablely mounted in the first passage opening (6.1) and having at least one air intake opening (12.1), and a second passage opening (6.2) having an air exhaust device (11.2) movablely mounted in the second passage opening (6.2) and having at least one air exhaust opening (12.2). The air intake device (11.1) and the air exhaust device (11.2) are movable between a raised configuration in which the air intake device (11.1) and the air exhaust device (11.2) hermetically seal the first and second passage openings (6.1; 6.2), and a lowered configuration.
