Abstract

Domestic sorting device dedicated to the recycling of glass and paper. As dropping off at public collection points is perceived as impractical, the device, thanks to removable containers with dimensions adapted to the openings of public collectors, serves to make more accessible, safer, faster and more comfortable the dropping off at collectors and at the same time the storage at home of recyclable glass and paper for individuals. This could also increase the collected quantity of glass for recycling. It consists of: One or two types of containers, several of which are intended to store glass (1) and possibly another for paper (2), manufactured in a format allowing them to be inserted into the opening of public collectors. A receiver (7) dedicated to receiving the containers and allowing their transport. The entire device is particularly suitable for being transported to the collection point in order to dump the contents stored there directly into the dedicated collectors. Description

Title of the invention: Domestic sorting device dedicated to the recycling of glass and paper

[0001] The object of the embodiment concerns the technical field of containers for sorting household recyclable waste.

[0002] Nowadays, recycling is becoming imperative, glass is infinitely recyclable, it is only collected at 67% in Europe. Recyclable glass and paper are the responsibility of users who must store them at home before transporting them to public collectors, to be deposited there. Knowing that some recyclable glass is thrown away with household waste, which disrupts incineration systems.

[0003] Dropping off at a collection point is seen as restrictive, as it is impractical, with broken glass and fly-tipping often occurring at the foot of the collectors.

[0004] Glass sorting and collection poses a safety and cleanliness problem, linked to the way in which it is currently stored and collected. Sometimes broken or chipped, during storage or when it is removed (commonly stored in bags or crates), it can cause injuries when removed and a hygiene problem due to the sticky residue from the contents spilling onto the containers during storage, because the current system imposes on users the restrictive obligation to pick up the containers one by one to place them in the collectors.

[0005] The innovation consists of several removable containers, in which the waste is stored, they are manufactured in a format that allows them to be introduced into the opening of the collector and emptied directly into it, making it easier to deposit them in collectors. The device will also increase the volume of glass collected. Since glass collection points are often accompanied by a collector for paper, a container dedicated to paper can be added to the system.

[0006] The sketches below illustrate the invention, [Fig.l] represents all the elements which make up the device. [Fig.2] illustrates a transparent view of the storage; [Fig.3] illustrates the deposit at collection points.

[0007] Sketch 1 The containers (1) (2) are the removable elements of the device allowing storage and removal. The receiver (7) allows the containers to be gathered in the same device and will be used for transporting the entire device.

[0008] The tubes (1) containing the glass are removable, closed and watertight at the base (4), open on the upper part (5) and equipped with a handle (9). Arranged in the receiver (7), in a vertical position. The diameter of the containers is approximately 10 cm, the latter are intended to receive the glass containers which will be introduced there through the upper part (5) for storage before removal, they have a shock-absorbing base (3), in order to limit the noise of the glass falling into the container during storage and to anticipate premature aging of the container.

[0009] A removable container (2) for recyclable paper, with an opening of 25cm x 10 cm, intended for storing the paper can be added to the system.

[0010] The receiver (7), with dimensions and weight suitable for easy transport, is equipped with a central handle (6), so that it can be carried with one hand and incorporates compartments (8) adapted to the format of the removable containers (1) and (2), in order to gather them together and keep them in position.

[0011] To meet the needs of end users, the device may be offered in a range of several models in different formats and sizes, it will be constructed from a light and rigid material, with a smaller footprint than the bags or bins commonly used today.

[0012] [Fig.2] sorting and storage made easier by stacking glass containers vertically in tubes and paper in the dedicated container, thus improving safety and hygiene.

[0013] [Fig.3] A significant improvement in the process of depositing at the collection point is the main advantage of the device. Its design allows the contents to be poured directly into the collectors. The format of the containers will be adapted to the dimensions of the collector openings. The removable tubes, taken out of the receiver, can be inserted a few centimeters into the opening of the glass collector one by one. Once inserted and then tilted, they will allow all the recyclable glass stored there to be poured into the collectors, in a single movement, directly and simply, in a clean and safe manner, avoiding any risk of soiling or injury. The same principle will be applied for the deposit of paper to be recycled.

[0014] The device is particularly suitable for the disposal in collectors and storage of recyclable glass and paper, and will thus encourage users to sort more efficiently, less restrictively, cleaner and more securely.
