Description

Title of the invention: Vehicle wiping device with plug-in attachment part for the wiping lip FIELD OF THE INVENTION

[0001] The present invention relates to a wiping device for a motor vehicle comprising a windscreen wiper arm and a wiper blade which has a fixing part for being connected to the windscreen wiper arm as well as a wiping lip. STATE OF THE ART

[0002] Such a wiping device is already known for vehicles, in particular passenger vehicles and heavy goods vehicles.

[0003] According to document DE 198 54 307 A1, such a wiping device for vehicle windows is known. This known wiping device comprises a system of brackets holding the wiping blade.

[0004] DISCLOSURE AND ADVANTAGES OF THE INVENTION

[0005] The present invention relates to a vehicle wiping device overcoming the drawbacks of known devices and comprising a wiping arm with a wiper blade having a fixing part for being fixed to the wiper arm as well as a wiping lip, this device being characterized in that the wiper arm has a receiving member, elongated along a longitudinal extension, one end of the receiving member has an open hollow profile and the hollow profile has a fixing slot along the longitudinal extension and into which the fixing part slides along the longitudinal extension, from the open end.

[0006] The wiping device according to the invention has the advantage of a better structure and better operation. The wiping device has a simpler structure which facilitates the replacement of the wiper blade.

[0007] Advantageously, the fixing slot is made on the side of the receiving member of the wiper arm facing the wiping lip. Thus, during operation, there is better application pressure against the window. In addition, the fixing to the slot has the advantage of receiving the forces produced by friction against the window.

[0008] Advantageously, the fastening part has a spacer which passes through the fastening slot of the hollow profile and the fastening part engages inside the hollow profile behind the hollow profile with its head blade. This results in a reliable connection, in particular a form connection, reliable throughout the service life of the wiper blade.

[0009] Advantageously, the device comprises a tip removably connected to the end of the receiving member and this tip is fixed to the receiving member against its outlet along the longitudinal extension, when the fixing part is installed.

[0010] The fixing part is not necessarily connected to the end piece which can advantageously be connected in a simple and reliable manner to the receiving member by the user, which simplifies the replacement of the wiper blade.

[0011] Advantageously, the tip is connected to the receiving member by a clip-on connection, which corresponds to a removable connection that can be opened or closed simply and intuitively by the user. It should be noted that it is possible to have a reusable tip.

[0012] Advantageously, the end piece has a connecting element, in particular a hooking element, for connecting the end piece to the receiving member by penetrating into the recess of the hollow profile. This makes it possible to produce a reliable connection, simple to open and nevertheless resistant even to heavy loads.

[0013] Advantageously, the fixing part has, on at least one of its long sides, a recess into which a rib of the end piece penetrates, thus creating an advantageous form-fitting connection, safely preventing the fixing part from being released from the hollow profile of the wiping arm.

[0014] Advantageously, the fixing part has a longitudinal groove which extends on at least one of its long sides along its long sides, this groove receiving a rib of the end piece. The end piece can thus be detachably connected to the fixing part.

[0015] According to another advantageous feature, the wiping lip has a retaining blade extending along the longitudinal extension, this retaining blade being inserted into a housing of the fixing part along the longitudinal extension, the retaining blade and the fixing part being connected to each other by a form connection and / or a chemical bond. This allows the wiper blade to be produced in at least two parts. It is thus possible to simply combine different materials. However, according to a variant, it is possible to have a combination of different materials or materials, for example, in the case of coextrusion. Furthermore, the fixing part and the retaining blade can also be made of the same material.

[0016] Advantageously, the fixing part is deformable on at least one of its long sides, in particular by the action of heat and / or by a mechanical action so as to form the fixing part at one of its long sides in the housing of the fixing part. This produces a connection by the shape which avoids any displacement along the longitudinal extension.

[0017] Advantageously, the tip and the fixing part are not connected, which allows the fixing part to be reused after the wiping lip has been replaced. In addition, this simplifies, where appropriate, the manufacture of the separate parts.

[0018] Advantageously, the fastening part has a head blade and recesses oriented transversely to the longitudinal extension, the average distance between the recesses in the installed state decreasing towards the end of the hollow profile. The recesses make it possible to influence the average elasticity or flexibility in a targeted manner. Thus, the elasticity or flexibility can be increased towards the end, which generally improves the wiping action of the window.

[0019] According to the development, one or more of the following features may be advantageously used.

[0020] The wiper arm has a wiper blade that can be replaced by a plug-in module, which allows an advantageous embodiment in four or more components. The wiper arm can be driven at least indirectly by a rotary motor. The fastening part can serve as a plug-in module and receive or, if necessary, hold a wiping lip. The wiping lip can be a rubber element. In addition, an end piece having the function of an end cap can be provided. The end piece can serve to fix the fastening part in the form of a plug-in module to the wiper arm.

[0021] In combination with the end piece, the wiper arm can have a holding function and / or a releasing function and / or a wiper blade replacement function or the fastening part can be implemented as a plug-in module. The end piece is preferably provided at the end of the wiper arm corresponding to the outer path, in particular the outer circular path of the wiping movement.

[0022] The plug-in module comprises the wiping lip in addition to the fastening part. The fastening part and the wiping lip can be securely connected to each other. The end piece can hold the plug-in module in its position relative to the wiper arm. For example, actuating the button provided on the end piece allows the end piece to be released from the wiper arm again.

[0023] The wiper arm may comprise a hollow profile which supports the attachment part over its entire extension (length). According to a variant, the wiper arm supports the attachment part only in parts and / or in segments on one or more segments.

[0024] The fixing part may have a profile-shaped housing which holds the wiping lip over its entire longitudinal extension. According to an alternative embodiment, the fixing part holds the wiping lip only by parts and / or by segments.

[0025] The fixing part and the wiping lip may be connected to each other along their extension. This connection may be made by raised or recessed parts and / or recesses and / or by the action of heat and / or by mechanical deformation and / or chemical bonding. Such a connection may also be provided at least essentially for fixing along the longitudinal extension or to perform this function.

[0026] The fixing part and the wiping lip can thus be fixed relative to each other according to their extension. This can be done in whole or in part with the end piece. The end piece can also be designed to block both the fixing part and the wiping lip in movement according to their longitudinal extension on the wiper arm. For this purpose, the end piece can preferably be connected by a form-fitting connection to the fixing part and the wiping lip, for example, by at least one rib preferably made on the end piece. This rib can then come into recesses, in particular cutouts in the fixing part and the wiping lip.

[0027] The end piece may also have a release function implemented with the actuation button of the end piece. According to an alternative embodiment, the actuation button is produced on the wiper arm. The end piece and the wiper arm can then be fitted into each other and be removably connected.

[0028] When the end piece is installed on the wiper arm, the latter can move freely, according to a possible embodiment of the attachment part with the wiping lip along its extension, and this free movement is then limited by the end cap. A certain amount of play can be left in the movement so that the attachment part can move freely with the wiping lip between a stop provided on the wiper arm and the end cap. The end piece can also be removed when replacing the attachment part with the wiping lip.

[0029] The end piece can hold the fastening piece to indirectly support the wiping lip during the wiping movement. At the same time, the end piece closes the end so that the fastening piece cannot come out of the wiper arm. The wiping lip is thus preferably securely connected to the fastening piece.

[0030] The attachment part comprises a profile for receiving the wiping lip. Such a profile may have a head blade with recesses that increase elasticity or flexibility. The number and arrangement of the recesses makes it possible to optimize elasticity and flexibility. In particular, this makes it possible to increase local elasticity or local flexibility up to the outer end of the wiper arm. For this purpose, recesses are provided, depending on the longitudinal extension of the head blade. transverses spaced apart from each other and the gap between neighboring recesses decreases towards the outer end. [0053] DESCRIPTION OF EMBODIMENTS OF THE INVENTION

[0054] [Fig.l] shows a wiping device (windscreen wiper device) with a wiper arm 2 and a wiper blade 3 in a schematic perspective view of a first embodiment. The wiping device 1 is intended in particular for a motor vehicle. Furthermore, [Fig.2] shows the wiper arm 2 of the wiper device of [Fig.l] in a schematic perspective view of the first embodiment.

[0055] The wiping device 1 comprises several parts, namely the wiper arm 2 and the wiper blade 3. The wiper blade 3 itself comprises a fixing part 4 by which the wiper blade 3 is fixed to the wiper arm 2 and a wiping lip 5. The wiper arm 2 comprises an elongated receiving member 7, extending in a longitudinal extension direction 6. The receiving member 7 has an open profile 9 at one end 8.

[0056] The profile 9 has a fixing slot 10 along its longitudinal extension 6. The fixing slot receives the fixing part 4 which is threaded from the open end 8 along the longitudinal extension 6.

[0057] The wiper arm also has a fixing member 11 with a fixing eyelet 12. The fixing eyelet 12 attaches to the output shaft of an electric motor.

[0058] [Fig. 3] shows in a schematic perspective view, an end piece 18 of the wiping device 1 of [Fig. 1] for a first embodiment. [Fig. 4] shows the fixing part 4 of the wiping device 1 of [Fig. 1] in a schematic perspective view corresponding to the first embodiment. [Fig. 5] shows a schematic perspective view of the wiping lip 5 of the wiping device 1 of [Fig. 1] for the first embodiment.

[0059] [Fig. 6] shows the wiping device of [Fig. 1] in a schematic perspective view showing the situation of the wiper blade change 2. The fastening part 3 with the wiping lip 5 is engaged according to the double arrow 13 according to the longitudinal extension 6 in the fastening slot 10 of the wiper arm 2 or is extracted therefrom in the same way. This simplifies the replacement of the wiper blade 3.

[0060] [Fig. 7] shows the wiper arm 2 of the wiping device 1 of [Fig. 1] in a schematic perspective view and detail of the fixing part 4 to describe the construction and operation of this first embodiment. The fixing slot 10 is made in the side 15 of the receiving member 7 of the wiper arm 2 facing the wiping lip 5.

[0061] When the wiper blade is installed, the spacer 16 of the fixing part 4 passes through the fixing slot 10 of the hollow profile 9. The fixing part 4 of this exemplary embodiment has a head blade 17 which, in the installed state, is inside the hollow profile 9. The fixing part 4 comes to take, by its head blade 17 behind the hollow profile 9.

[0062] The end piece 18 is removably connected to the end 8 of the receiving member 7. The end piece 18 connected to the receiving member 7 retains the fixing part 4 in the receiving member against disengagement along the longitudinal extension 6, i.e. the movement opposite that of the double arrow 13 shown in [Fig.6]. Depending on the embodiment, there may or may not be a certain clearance between the fixing part 4 and the end piece 18.

[0063] [Fig.8] shows the fixing part 4 and the wiping lip 5 of the windscreen wiper blade 3 according to a schematic perspective view of the detail of the first embodiment; the figure shows a possible embodiment of the connection between the fixing part 4 and the wiping lip 5.

[0064] The wiping lip 5 of this embodiment has a retaining blade 20 extending along the longitudinal extension 6. The retaining blade 20 can be slid along the longitudinal extension 6 in the housing 21 of the fixing part 4. The holding blade 20 and the fixing part 4 are then connected by at least one form connection. In addition or alternatively, it is also possible to have a chemical connection between the wiping lip 5 and the fixing part 4. This allows for a reliable connection between the wiping lip 5 and the fixing part.

[0065] [Fig. 9] shows, according to a schematic perspective view of detail of the wiping lip 5 of the wiper blade 3 for the first embodiment; the figure shows the recess 23 of the wiping lip 5 used to make the connection. [Fig. 10] shows the fixing part 4 and the wiping lip 5 of the wiper blade 3 according to a schematic perspective view of detail corresponding to the first embodiment showing the state for making a connection between the fixing part 4 and the wiping lip 5. The action of heat is represented by the arrows 29. [Fig. 1 1] shows the fixing part 4 and the wiping lip 5 of the wiper blade 3 according to a schematic perspective view of detail of the first embodiment corresponding to a supplement to the embodiment of [Fig. 10], the connection between the fixing part 4 and the wiping lip 5.

[0066] The fixing part 4 is deformable on its longitudinal sides 24, 25. For example, as shown in [Fig. 10], by acting on the heat 29, the fixing part is formed, on the one hand, on its long side 24 in the housing 21 of the holding blade 20 and, on the other hand, on its long side 25 in a corresponding housing. This thus results in a withdrawal 29 in the long side 24. A corresponding withdrawal or cavity is also produced in the long side 25. The deformation of the fixing part can, moreover, be carried out additionally or alternatively, mechanically, as explained in [Fig. 10] by the tool 34. In addition, a chemical bond can be produced. Thus, the wiping lip 5 is then fixed in particular along the longitudinal extension 6 relative to the fixing part 4.

[0067] [Fig. 12] shows, in a schematic perspective view, the fixing part 4 and the wiping lip 5 of the wiper blade 3 as well as the end piece 18 according to a second embodiment. [Fig. 13] shows, in a schematic perspective sectional view, the fixing part 4 and the wiping lip 5 of the wiper blade 3 and the end piece 18 of this second embodiment; the figure also shows a possible embodiment of the connection between the end piece 18 and both the fixing part 4 and the wiping lip 5.

[0068] [Fig. 14] shows the wiping lip 5 in a schematic perspective view of detail of the second embodiment. A recess 23 has been made in the wiping lip 5 for a possible embodiment of the connection between the end piece 18 and the wiping lip 5. [Fig. 15] further shows the fixing part 4 in a schematic perspective view of detail of the second embodiment, having a recess 26 for a possible embodiment of a connection between the end piece 18 and the fixing part 4. [Fig. 16] is a schematic perspective view of the detail of the end piece 18 of the second embodiment; the figure shows a possible embodiment of the ribs 28, 32, 33 for producing the connection between the end piece 18 and both the fixing part 4 and the wiping lip 5.

[0069] On its long side 24, the fixing part 4 has a recess 26, 27. In this embodiment, a rib 28 of the end piece 18 engages in the recess 26, 27; figures 13 and 16 only show one rib 28 of the long side 24. In addition, the fixing part 4 has on its long sides 24, 25 longitudinal grooves 30, 31 extending along the long sides 24, 25 and receiving the ribs 32, 33 of the end piece 18.

[0070] [Fig. 17] shows, in a schematic perspective view of detail, the wiping device 1 according to a third embodiment with a possible embodiment of the connection between the end piece 18 and the wiper arm 2 by a clip-on connection.

[0071] The end piece 18 is connected to the receiving member 7 by a clip-on connection. For this purpose, the end piece 18 is engaged in the direction of the arrow 39 in the open end 8 of the hollow profile 9 of the wiper arm 2. The end piece 18 has a connecting element 40 which, in this embodiment, is in the form of a clip-on element 40. The clip-on element 40 engages, in the assembled state, in a recess 41 made in the hollow profile 9 as shown, for example, in [Fig.l].

[0072] [Fig. 18] shows the wiping device 1 in a schematic perspective view of a fourth embodiment in the assembled position. [Fig. 19] shows, in a schematic perspective view, the wiping device 1 of [Fig.18] according to the fourth embodiment in the assembled state. The end piece 18 and the fixing part 4 are not connected to each other. The fixing part 4 and the wiping lip 5 connected to the fixing part 4 can move in either direction along the longitudinal extension 4 in the fixing slot 10, the anti-loss locking being ensured by the end piece 18.

[0073] [Fig.20] shows, in a schematic perspective view, a fixing part 4 according to a possible embodiment. [Fig.21] shows the fixing part 4 of [Fig.20] in the bent state to explain the variable elasticity or flexibility depending on the longitudinal extension of the fixing part 4 in a simplified representation.

[0074] In this exemplary embodiment, the fixing part 4 has a head blade 17 with recesses 45A-45G transverse to the longitudinal extension 6. The recesses 45A-45G of this exemplary embodiment are oriented at least substantially at 90° relative to the longitudinal extension 6 of the head blade 17. The average distance L between the recesses 45A-45G decreases towards the end 8 of the hollow profile 9. For example, the distance L1 between the recesses 45A, 45B closest to the end 8 is less than the distance L2 between the recesses 45F-45G further from the end 8. This results in a variable flexibility according to the longitudinal extension 6 as shown in [Fig.21].
