Description

Title of the invention: Construction, preferably modular, comprising a wooden ceiling frame and a wooden floor frame FIELD OF THE INVENTION

[0001] The present invention relates generally to constructions. PREVIOUS ART

[0002] Constructions comprising a wooden ceiling frame and a wooden floor frame connected to each other by uprights are known from the state of the art.

[0003] In order to be able to lift the construction, in particular to be able to move it using a crane, it is known to weld lifting parts, such as rings, which extend above the uprights, to which slings can be connected.

[0004] However, welding lifting parts above the uprights can lead to various disadvantages, including increasing the size of the construction, which exposes the construction to a risk of impact during transport. These lifting parts can also hinder the stacking of two construction modules at the uprights of said modules.

[0005] It is also desirable to be able to ensure good sealing of the construction between its leaving the factory and its installation on site before its finalization. For this purpose, it is known to cover the ceiling frame of the construction with a sealing membrane, for example of the EPDM type. However, the presence of lifting parts can hinder the proper installation of the membrane and thus affect the sealing.

[0006] Furthermore, there is a risk of damage to the structure of the building during lifting, particularly in the event of inappropriate distribution of forces in the structure of the building during lifting. To limit the risk of damage, it is known to use a lifting beam with the crane which allows the slings to be oriented vertically in order to obtain vertical tensile forces. However, the use of such a lifting accessory complicates the lifting operation and requires this accessory to be available on the lifting site.

[0007] The aim of the present invention is to propose a new construction and a corresponding manufacturing method making it possible to at least partially overcome all or part of the problems set out above. Summary of the invention

[0008] For this purpose, a construction is proposed, preferably modular, comprising: - a floor frame comprising wooden side members and cross members; - a ceiling frame comprising wooden stringers and crosspieces; - metal uprights connecting the floor frame to the ceiling frame, and, for each upright, a connecting system making it possible to connect the upright to a beam of the ceiling frame and to a crosspiece of said frame; characterized in that the connecting system comprises: - a first assembly fitting system which comprises: a connecting wing to a beam of the ceiling frame, said wing having a fixing part fixed to said beam and an assembly part which extends along the axis of the beam projecting from the end face of the beam; and a connecting wing to a crosspiece of the ceiling frame, said wing having a fixing part fixed to said crosspiece and an assembly part which extends along the axis of said crosspiece projecting from the end face of the crosspiece; the assembly part of at least one of the wings, called lifting wing, of the first assembly fitting system having a cutout, and the first assembly fitting system comprising a connecting piece positioned in the cutout, the connecting piece, called threaded connecting piece, having a threaded orifice in which a lifting piece, such as a ring, is capable of being screwed to be fixed to said connecting piece and unscrewed to be removed, the top of the connecting piece being located at a height less than or equal to that of the upper face of the spar or crossmember to which the lifting wing is fixed; - a second assembly fitting system fixed, preferably welded, to the upright comprising a first assembly wing riveted with the assembly part of the connecting wing to the spar, and a second assembly wing riveted with the assembly part of the connecting wing to the cross member.

[0009] A construction is thus obtained which has screwing zones for lifting parts, usable for lifting the construction, formed from parts which also serve for the connection between the uprights and the ceiling frame. Each of said screwing zones is in fact produced thanks to the cooperation of the threaded connecting part, also called threaded block, and the cutout made in at least one wing of a fitting system which allows the assembly of an upright to the ceiling frame.

[0010] Positioning a threaded connecting piece in a hardware system wing cutout so as not to exceed the height of the upper face of each beam or cross member of the ceiling frame makes it possible to cover the ceiling frame with a sealing membrane, which has orifices positioned opposite the threaded orifices of the threaded connecting pieces, to ensure the sealing of the construction, without being hindered by projecting elements, such as lifting pieces, which can however be screwed (and unscrewed to be removed) into the threaded connecting pieces, through the orifices of the membrane, without impacting the correct positioning of the sealing membrane.

[0011] In particular, the membrane can be fixed, preferably glued, reliably, on the upper face of the beam (spar or crosspiece) of the ceiling frame to which the wing of the fitting system that carries the threaded connecting piece is fixed, as well as, preferably, on an upper flange that covers the threaded connecting piece. According to one embodiment, the membrane is also fixed, preferably glued, to the upper face (edge) of a riser, for example made of wood, such as glued laminated timber, with which the other beam (crosspiece or spar) is provided to which a wing of said fitting system of the ceiling frame is fixed, in order to obtain an upper face (edge) for application of the membrane located substantially at the same height as the upper face of the beam (spar or crosspiece) to which the wing of the fitting system that carries the threaded connecting piece is fixed.According to one embodiment, the membrane also covers the top of the uprights (posts).

[0012] Each threaded connecting piece not only allows a lifting piece to be screwed on, but also allows the lifting forces to be transmitted to the corresponding upright (post) and to the ceiling frame by coupling, preferably by welding, the threaded connecting piece with the corresponding wing of the fitting system which is itself fixed to the ceiling frame by its fixing part and to the upright by riveting to another fitting system welded to the upright.

[0013] The use of metal uprights combined with wooden ceiling and floor frames allows for a good weight / rigidity ratio of the construction, while the particular fitting system used to ensure the connection between an upright and a frame allows for good force absorption and allows for reliable lifting of the construction.

[0014] Thanks to the particular design of the fitting systems fixed to beams of the ceiling frame, the lifting forces applied to the lifting parts can be taken up by the fitting systems and transmitted to the uprights and beams of the ceiling frame (spars and / or crosspieces) via the threaded connecting pieces which not only receive the lifting parts, but are also each fixed to a wing of a fitting system, which is fixed to an upright (by riveting to a wing of another fitting system fixed to the upright). Preferably, each threaded connecting piece is also fixed, for example by welding, to the upper flange fixed to a beam, such as a spar, of the ceiling frame.

[0015] The fact of providing an assembly by riveting of the wings of the upper fitting system of each upright to the fitting system fixed to the ceiling frame (and likewise an assembly by riveting of the wings of the lower fitting system of each upright to the fitting system fixed to the floor frame) allows, prior to the riveting operation, to carry out a galvanization of the entire upright and its fitting systems after fixing, preferably by welding, of said fitting systems. fitting to the upright.

[0016] The use of metal wings, preferably steel, for the riveted assembly between metal uprights and wooden frames also makes it possible to limit the number of fixing elements compared to a solution which would consist of screwing the wooden beams of the frames directly onto the connecting parts of the upright. Indeed, the number of fixing elements necessary to pass the high forces would be very large and would therefore require a screwing time incompatible with in-line manufacturing. Riveting with horizontal axis rivets is much faster and more ergonomic.

[0017] According to a preferred embodiment, the use of fittings whose webs (fixing parts) are aligned with the longitudinal axis of the beams (spars or crosspieces) in which they are engaged makes it possible to benefit from a lifting force axis which is coincident with the geometric longitudinal axis of the beams of the ceiling frame, which limits the presence of "parasitic" moments to be taken up mechanically.

[0018] Screwing each lifting part, such as a lifting ring, into a corresponding threaded connecting part, allows the construction to be lifted, for its placement on a transport vehicle or its installation on site. Each lifting part can then be unscrewed and removed after lifting, to allow transport of the construction with a reduced risk of damage to the construction, or after installation on site when lifting is no longer necessary.

[0019] The construction may also include one or more of the following features taken in any technically admissible combination.

[0020] According to one embodiment, the cutout opens onto an upper edge of the lifting wing in which said cutout is formed.

Advantageously, the upper flange is also welded to the upper edge of the wing attachment part. According to a particular aspect, the upper flange is preassembled with the wing attachment part by male female elements such as tabs projecting from the upper edge of the wing attachment part inserted into slots provided in the upper flange. superior.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION

[0057] Embodiments are described below with reference to the accompanying drawings. Like numerals refer to like elements throughout the drawings. However, the invention may be embodied in many different forms and should not be construed as being limited to the embodiments set forth herein. The scope of the invention is defined by the appended claims.

[0058] A reference throughout the specification to "an embodiment" means that a particular feature, structure, or characteristic described in connection with an embodiment is included in at least one embodiment of the present invention. Thus, the occurrence of the phrase "in an embodiment" at various locations throughout the specification does not necessarily refer to the same embodiment. Furthermore, the particular features, structures, or characteristics may be combined in any suitable manner in one or more embodiments.

[0059] With reference to the figures, a construction 1 is proposed which comprises a floor frame 2 and a ceiling frame 3 made of wood, as well as metal uprights 4 connecting the floor frame 2 and the ceiling frame 3 together.

[0060] The construction described below can be installed on site permanently or can be dismantled, for example in the context of a rental.

[0061] Preferably, the construction is a modular construction. The modular construction described can be assembled with other identical or similar modular constructions by juxtaposition and / or superposition to form, for example, office-type buildings, residential buildings and, more generally, any type of establishment open to the public (ERP).

[0062] In the remainder of the description, the terms top, bottom, upper, lower, vertical or horizontal, are considered by reference to an assembled state of the construction which rests on a horizontal ground, the uprights extending vertically.

[0063] Amounts

[0064] Preferably, the metal uprights 4 are hollow posts, which allows rainwater to flow through the posts.

[0065] The use of hollow metal posts, preferably steel, makes it possible to limit the quantity of material used, and facilitates the operation of assembling the construction thanks to the wings fixed, preferably welded, to each post as explained below.

[0066] According to one embodiment, each post 4 has a closed contour section which can also have a local opening, such as the opening 47 shown below.

[0067] Preferably, each post has a rectangular section, the large side of the rectangle being parallel to the side members of the frames.

[0068] According to a particular aspect and as illustrated in Figures 2 and 3, at least one upright comprises an opening 47 formed in the upper part in its peripheral wall, to allow rainwater to be received from a channel arranged in communication with said opening 47, and to allow the water to flow into the post. According to one embodiment, a pipe (not shown) opens into the opening 47 and is connected to an opening 947 formed in a waterproofing membrane 9 (See example in [Fig.8]) arranged on top of the ceiling frame to allow a flow of water to be directed from the opening 947 towards the inside of the post 4 through the opening 47.

[0069] According to one embodiment, the fact that the posts 4 are hollow, and open or openable at the upper end and at the lower end, makes it possible to leave the interior space of the post free to allow the passage of rainwater from an upright of an upper construction module into a corresponding post of a lower construction module. It is possible to provide for all or part of the ends of the posts to be closable depending on the desired configuration of the construction. Thus, in the absence of a second module superimposed on the construction, it is possible to provide for the upper ends of the posts to be closed.

[0070] Advantageously, a funnel-shaped connecting piece is arranged in the upper end of the post of the lower construction module to receive the lower end of the corresponding post of the upper construction module, and to allow the passage of rainwater without leakage from one module to the other in order to avoid the exit of water at the junction of the posts. Conversely, the funnel-shaped connecting piece can be arranged in the lower end of the post of the upper construction module to be inserted into the upper end of the cor- corresponding to the lower construction module.

[0071] For each upright 4, an upper connecting system 5, 6, detailed below, makes it possible to connect the upright 4 (in the upper part) to a side member 31 of the ceiling frame 3 and to a cross member 32 of said frame. Similarly, a lower connecting system 5', 6' is provided which makes it possible to connect the upright 4 (in the lower part) to a side member 21 of the floor frame 2 and to a cross member 22 of said frame.

[0072] Chassis

[0073] The ceiling frame 3 comprises two wooden beams 31 connected to each other by two wooden crosspieces 32. Preferably, each crosspiece is provided with a riser 32A, which preferably extends to the post, to provide an upper face (edge) of height substantially equal to that of the upper face of each beam, which makes it possible to fix the waterproofing membrane 9 on said upper faces effectively to ensure the waterproofing of the construction.

[0074] The floor frame 2 also comprises two wooden side members 21 connected to each other by two wooden cross members 22. As detailed below, each side member is connected to a cross member by a fitting system to allow assembly by riveting of the corresponding frames with the uprights which are provided with fitting systems.

[0075] The floor frame and the ceiling frame may also comprise elements, such as ceiling or floor elements, for example intermediate cross members 23, 33, and / or insulation and "vapor barrier" or "vapor barrier" membranes, which extend between the side members and the cross members of the frame.

[0076] Fitting system fixed to a chassis side member and cross member

[0077] The connection system 5,6 described below for the connection between the upper part of a upright and the ceiling frame is also applicable to the 5', 6' connection system used for the connection between the lower part of the upright and the floor frame. The wing cutout, shown below, may or may not be omitted for the lower part connection system and the connection wing to the side member of one 5' part (assembly fitting system) of the connection system may have the same height as the connection wing to the side member of the other 6' part of the connection system. One or more holes for the passage of a hooking device in the lower part connection system (floor frame fittings) may be used for lifting the floor frame during the manufacturing phase.

[0078] The connecting system 5, 6 comprises an assembly fitting system 5 (see for example [Fig.5] and [Fig.6]). The assembly fitting system 5 comprises a wing 531 which has a fixing part 5310 to the spar 31 and an assembly part 5314 which extends along the axis of the spar projecting from the end face of the spar 31. The term "axis of the spar" or axis of the cross member means the longitudinal axis, preferably central, of said spar or of said cross member.

[0079] According to one embodiment, the assembly portion 5314 is coplanar with the fixing portion 5310. The assembly portion 5314 extends vertically and extends the fixing portion 5310.

[0080] Advantageously, the fixing part 5310 extends into a slot provided vertically at one end of the spar 31 in the vertical mid-plane of the spar.

[0081] According to one embodiment, the fixing portion 5310 is fixed to an elongated metal plate, called the upper flange 5311, which extends over and along an end portion of the upper face of the spar 31, preferably in a reservation provided at one end of the upper face of the spar so that the flange extends into the overall thickness of the spar. Advantageously, the upper flange 5311 is fixed to the spar on the side of the upper face of the spar. Advantageously, the upper face of the upper flange, which may include a compensation plate (not shown), extends substantially flush with the upper face of the spar. The attachment portion 5310 of the wing 531 may be pre-assembled to the upper flange 5311, by tabs 5310A cut from an upper edge of the attachment portion 5310 which engage in corresponding slots provided through the upper flange. The fixing portion 5310 is preferably welded to the upper flange 5311.

[0082] The attachment portion 5310 is preferably also attached to another elongated metal plate, called the lower flange 5312, which extends against and along an end portion of the underside of the spar, preferably in a recess provided at one end of the underside of the spar so that the flange extends into the overall thickness of the spar. The attachment portion 5310 may be pre-assembled to the lower flange 5312, by tabs 5310B cut from an upper edge of 5310 which engage in corresponding slots provided through the lower flange. The attachment portion 5310 is preferably welded to the lower flange 5312.

[0083] The or each sole extends orthogonally (horizontally) to the fixing portion, to be fixed to the spar.

[0084] The upper sole 5311 has a portion 5318 which extends above the assembly portion 5314. Said portion 5318 of the upper sole 5311 thus extends in cantilever from the spar 31 in the fixed state of the upper sole to the spar.

[0085] The threaded connecting piece 85 extends through the cutout 58 provided in the upper part of the assembly part 5314 and has a preferably blind, threaded orifice 856. The orifice 856 preferably opens onto an orifice 5316 provided through the upper sole 5311 to allow a lifting piece 86 to be screwed into the threaded connecting piece 85 through the orifice 5316 provided in the part 5318 of the upper sole 5311.

[0086] The upper sole 5311 is fixed, preferably welded, to the wing 531. It can thus be provided that the upper sole 5311 is welded to the fixing part 5310 and preferably to the assembly part 5314. Advantageously, the threaded connecting part 85 is welded to the part 5318 of the upper sole 5311.

[0087] The threaded orifice 856 of the connecting piece 85 makes it possible to fix the lifting piece 86 so that it extends upwards (in particular on the side of the sole 5311 opposite the connecting piece 85). Thus, in the fixed state, the lifting piece 86 can extend upwardly from the upper sole 5311 to allow the passage of a hook engaged with the lifting piece 86. The lifting piece 86 remains removable (unscrewable), in particular during transport of the construction, and also once the construction is installed on a site, to limit the height requirement. The positioning of the threaded connecting piece 85, in a wing cutout, at a height which does not exceed the height of the spar, makes it possible to effectively place a sealing membrane 9 to cover the spars of the ceiling frame, without being hindered by the lifting assistance system formed by the lifting piece 86 which is unscrewable and therefore removable, and the threaded connecting piece 85 which remains in the space occupied by the ceiling frame. The sealing membrane 9 can be simply pierced to obtain an orifice 985 at the level of the opening of the threaded orifice 856 of each connecting piece 85, in order to be able to mount and dismount the lifting piece 86 at different times during the life of the construction (transport, installation on site).According to a particular aspect, the membrane 9 covers the inner faces of the beams and crosspiece extensions of the ceiling frame and is fixed, for example glued, to the upper faces of the beams and crosspiece extensions, as well as to the upper flanges. The membrane preferably has edges falling on the outside of the construction so as to cover the outer faces of the beams and crosspiece extensions and / or crosspieces of the ceiling frame.

[0088] The threaded connecting piece 85 may have a section whose shape is complementary to the shape of the cutout 58 made in the assembly part 5314 of the wing 531, so that the forces applied to the lifting part, for example a lifting ring, (in particular bending or torsion) can be transmitted efficiently from the connecting piece to the wing. It can be provided that the transmission of force is carried out by the shape cooperation between the contour of the cutout 58 and the connecting piece 85, without the need for welding, when the shape of the cutout opposes a withdrawal of the connecting piece 85 by the open edge of the cutout 58 (for example in a vertical direction). An example of such a shape is illustrated in Figures 6 and 7, with an inverted trapezoid shape, i.e. where the open edge of the cutout forms the small base of the trapezoid. When the shape of the cutout does not prevent the part 85 from being removed by the open edge of the cutout 58, as for example illustrated in [Fig.4] and 5, with a . rectangular shape, preferably square (i.e. where the open edge of the cutout forms one side of the square), then the connecting piece 85 is welded to the part 5314 of the wing 531 and preferably to the upper flange 5311 to ensure good transmission of forces.

[0089] Similarly, the assembly fitting system 5 also comprises a wing 532 having a fixing part 5320 fixed to the crosspiece 32 and an assembly part 5324 which extends along the axis of the crosspiece projecting from the end face of the crosspiece 32.

[0090] According to one embodiment, the assembly portion 5324 is coplanar with the fixing portion 5320. The assembly portion 5324 extends vertically and extends the fixing portion 5320.

[0091] The fixing portion 5320 extends into a slot provided vertically at one end of the crosspiece 32 in the vertical mid-plane of the crosspiece.

[0092] The fixing part 5320 may be provided with one (or more) fixing soles 5321 extending orthogonally (horizontally) to the fixing part, to be fixed on a lower (or upper) face of the crosspiece.

[0093] Each fixing part 5310, 5320 thus forms a core for fixing the assembly wings to a beam (spar or cross member) of the chassis, preferably in the longitudinal axis of the beam and in the vertical median plane of the beam.

[0094] According to a preferred embodiment, the fixing part 5320 and the fixing part 5310 are connected to each other by a connecting part 533.

[0095] According to a particular aspect, the fixing portion 5320 and the fixing portion 5310 are formed in a single piece (for example by a cut and folded metal blank).

[0096] Wing cutting and insertion of a threaded connecting piece

[0097] As recalled above, the assembly part 5314 of the wing 531 of the assembly fitting system 5 has a cutout 58 in the upper part to allow the insertion into the cutout of the threaded connecting part 85, which has a threaded orifice 856 adapted to the fixing by screwing in said connecting part 85, of a lifting part 86, such as a ring. The ring 86 comprises a threaded external part 865 capable of cooperating with the thread 856 of the connecting part 85.

[0098] The cutout advantageously has a shape complementary to a section of the connecting piece 85. According to one embodiment, for example illustrated in [Fig.4] or 5, the cutout is rectangular, preferably square and the connecting piece 85 is a parallelepiped, for example a cube. According to one embodiment, for example illustrated in [Fig.6] or 7, the cutout is in the shape of an inverted trapezoid and the connecting piece 85 is a piece having a section in the shape of an inverted trapezoid.

[0099] Hardware system fixed to the upright

[0100] The connection system also comprises a fixed assembly fitting system 6, preferably welded, to the peripheral wall of the upright 4.

[0101] The assembly fitting system 6 comprises a first assembly wing 61, for assembly by riveting with the assembly part 5314 of the wing 531 connecting to the beam 31 of the ceiling frame 3; and a second assembly wing 62, for assembly by riveting with the assembly part 5324 of the wing 532 connecting to the cross member 32 of the ceiling frame 3.

[0102] The wing 61 extends orthogonally to a face 461 of the upright, and the wing 62 extends orthogonally to a face 462 of the upright, adjacent to the face 461. Each wing thus extends in a vertical plane, orthogonally to the face of the upright to which it is fixed, preferably at a distance from the planes of the faces of the upright which are adjacent to the fixing face. Advantageously, each wing 61, 62 extends along a median longitudinal axis of the face 461, 462 to which said wing is fixed.

[0103] Preferably, the fitting system 6 comprises a connecting part 63 which connects the two wings 61, 62. The two wings 61, 62 extend orthogonally to each other.

[0104] According to one embodiment, the assembly fitting system 6 is made in a single piece by cutting and folding a sheet metal blank. Alternatively, it is possible to provide for the wings 61, 62 to be formed from two separate pieces welded to the upright 4.

[0105] According to a particular aspect, the wing 62 extends below the opening 47 formed in the face 462 of the upright to which it is fixed, said opening 47 being intended to collect water from a channel of the construction.

[0106] Each of the wings 61 and 62 extends parallel to the longitudinal axis of the upright, orthogonally to the face of the upright 4 to which it is fixed. When the construction is on a horizontal ground, each upright is then vertical and the wings 61, 62 also extend vertically and from the upright towards a crosspiece or a beam of the ceiling frame.

[0107] As recalled above, an assembly fitting system which may be identical or similar to the assembly system 6, is fixed in the lower part of the upright. As a reminder, the terms top, or upper, and bottom, or lower, are defined by reference to a positioning of the construction on a horizontal ground, the uprights then being vertical. The assembly fitting system in the lower part of the upright has a wing parallel to the wing 61, and another wing parallel to the wing 62 of the upper assembly fitting system.

[0108] In the assembled state of the upright 4 to the ceiling frame via the fitting systems 5, 6, the upper edge 68 of the wing 61 is located flush with or below the bottom 586 of the cutout 58 of the assembly part 5314 of the corresponding wing 531 of the assembly fitting system 5.

[0109] The assembly part 5314 of the wing 531 of the assembly fitting system 5, at through which the cutout 58 is formed, is spaced from the inner vertical face of the spar 31 to which said assembly part 5314 of the wing 531 is fixed, which allows the connecting piece 85 to extend across the cutout 58, without encroaching inside the space delimited by the beams of the ceiling frame.

[0110] The inner vertical face of the side member 31 is the face of the side member which is opposite the other side member of the chassis. The side member has an outer vertical (or lateral) face, parallel to the inner vertical (or lateral) face, but whose normal is oriented towards the outside of the chassis, and upper and lower (horizontal) faces.

[0111] The assembly wing 61 of the fitting system 6 is assembled by riveting with the assembly part 5314 of the wing 531 (connecting to the spar 31) of the fitting system 5. Similarly, the assembly wing 62 of the fitting system 6 is assembled by riveting with the assembly part 5324 of the wing 532 connecting to the cross member 32.

[0112] The arrangement of the cutout 58 in the wing 531, and of the upper edge 68 of the wing 61 allows the positioning of the threaded connecting piece 85 through the cutout 58 of the wing 531, and above the upper edge 68 of the wing 61.

[0113] Preferably, the upper edge of the assembly part 5314 of the wing 531 and the upper edge of the wing 61 are located at a height which remains lower than the upper end of the upright.

[0114] Alternatively or additionally, it could be provided that the cutout which receives the threaded connecting piece is made in the assembly part of the wing fixed to the crosspiece of the ceiling frame.

[0115] Lifting function

[0116] The lifting function is thus enabled by the integration into the fitting system of a threaded connecting piece 85 which not only forms a receiving piece for the screwing fixing of a lifting piece 86 (such as a lifting ring) easily mounted and dismounted from the construction, but which also ensures good transmission and distribution of the lifting forces between the posts 4 and the beams 31, 32 of the ceiling frame, by - its coupling, preferably with welding, to the cutout 58 made in a wing of the fitting system, which is fixed by means of another wing of the fitting system to a post, - and, preferably, by its fixing (advantageously by welding) to the upper sole 5311.

[0117] This design makes it possible to distribute the forces to be transmitted during lifting between the wings of the two fitting systems 5, 6. The wings fixed to the ceiling frame take up the forces due to the dead weight of the ceiling (roof) and the wings of the upright take up the forces due to the weight of the posts (uprights) and the floor.

[0118] Method

[0119] An example of a method of manufacturing and assembling a modular construction, as presented above, is described below.

[0120] The method is described for fixing a fitting system 6 to an upright 4 (in the upper part of the upright) with a view to assembling by riveting the fitting system 6 with a fitting system 5 fixed to a beam 31, which in the examples is a side member 31, and to a beam 32, which in the examples is a cross member 32 of the ceiling frame. Although less advantageous, it could be provided that the beam 31 is a cross member and the beam 32 is a side member.

[0121] The method can also be applied to the fixing of an additional 6' fitting system, in the lower part of the upright, with a view to assembling by riveting the additional 6' fitting system (in the lower part of the upright) with another 5' fitting system fixed to a side member and to a cross member of the floor frame.

[0122] The fitting systems used in the lower part of the upright may be identical or similar to those used in the upper part. It should be noted that the fitting systems for the connection in the lower part of the upright with the floor frame may or may not have one or more cutouts or orifices for the passage of a hooking member or element for receiving a lifting part, such as a ring, which itself may be intended to be crossed by a hook for lifting. It may be provided that the fitting systems used at the top and bottom are identical to limit the number of different parts to be used.

[0123] Furthermore, the description given below for an upright located in a corner of the construction applies to the other uprights located in the other corners to connect to each of these other uprights a crosspiece and a beam of the ceiling frame, and to connect to each of these other uprights a crosspiece and a beam of the floor frame.

[0124] Welding of assembly wings to a post

[0125] The method thus comprises the following steps for each amount. As a reminder, the terms top, or upper, and bottom, or lower, are defined by reference to a positioning of the construction on horizontal ground, the amounts then being vertical.

[0126] The assembly fitting system 6 is welded to the upright in the upper part of the upright. The two wings 61, 62 extend orthogonally to each other and parallel to the longitudinal axis of the upright. The wing 62 is below the opening 47 intended to collect water from a channel of the construction.

[0127] As recalled above, an assembly fitting system 6' which may be identical to the assembly system 6, is fixed in the lower part of the upright. The assembly fitting system has a wing parallel to the wing 61, and another wing parallel to the wing 62.

[0128] Ceiling frame connection fitting system

[0129] The fitting system 5 comprises, as recalled above, a connecting wing 531 to the spar 31 and a connecting wing 532 to the cross member 32. Advantageously, the fitting system 5 also comprises the upper flange 5311 which is welded to the upper edge of the fixing part 5310 of the connecting wing 531, and preferably welded to the threaded connecting piece 85 housed in the cutout 58 formed in the upper part of the assembly part 5314 of the connecting wing 531. Preferably, the upper flange 5311, by its part 5318, is welded to the assembly part 5314 of the wing 531. Advantageously, the threaded connecting piece 85 is also welded to the assembly part 5314 of the wing 531 in particular along the edges of the cutout 58.

[0130] According to one embodiment, for which the fitting system 5 also comprises the lower sole 5312, said lower sole 5312 is welded to the lower edge of the fixing part 5310 of the connecting wing 531.

[0131] Galvanization

[0132] The entire upright and hardware systems can then be galvanized.

[0133] The entire upright and the fitting systems welded to it (before as assembly by riveting with the other hardware systems fixed to the frames), preferably by welding, maintains a limited size which allows it to be easily transported and galvanized. The corrosion resistance of the assembly is also high because the weld beads applied to the hardware systems are protected by the zinc of hot-dip galvanizing.

[0134] The wings of the fitting systems pre-welded to the post which are intended to be riveted to the corresponding wings of the fitting systems of the floor and ceiling frames, make it possible not to have to carry out welding on the assembly site (also called 3D layout) of the construction module during the assembly of the uprights with the floor and ceiling frames. Conversely, in the event of an absence of assembly wings fixed to the uprights intended to be riveted to the corresponding assembly parts of the wings fixed to the frames, and if it was necessary to carry out welding between a galvanized upright and connecting fittings fixed to the frames, it would be necessary to locally remove a layer of galvanization on the upright in order to be able to weld the upright to the connecting fittings fixed to the frames.

[0135] During the 3D layout, the assembly by riveting without welding of the wooden frames, equipped with fitting systems fixed to the beams of the frames, with metal uprights equipped with pre-welded fitting systems, also makes it possible to pre-equip parts of the construction such as the ceiling and floor frames, before the assembly corresponding to the 3D layout, without risk of damage to said equipment which could occur (during the 3D layout) if the assembly were carried out by welding, due to possible projections.

[0136] Attaching wings to a spar and to a cross member of the ceiling frame

[0137] The wing 531 of the fitting system 5 is fixed to a beam 31 of the ceiling frame by the fixing part 5310 which is inserted into a slot provided in one end of the spar 31, preferably in the vertical median plane of the spar 31.

[0138] Preferably, the fixing part 5310 is in the form of a plate which extends vertically inside the spar and which is extended by the assembly part 5314 which projects from the end of the spar and which is intended to be riveted to the wing 61 fixed to the post 4. Advantageously, the assembly part 5314 and the fixing part 5310 of the wing 531 extend along the longitudinal axis of the spar 31.

[0139] Similarly, the wing 532 is attached to the cross member 32 of the ceiling frame by the attachment portion 5320 which is inserted into a slot provided in one end of the cross member 32, preferably in the vertical median plane of the cross member.

[0140] Preferably, the fixing part 5320 is in the form of a plate which extends vertically inside the crosspiece and which is extended by the assembly part 5324 which projects from the end of the crosspiece 32 and which is intended to be riveted to the wing 61 fixed to the post 4. Advantageously, the assembly part 5324 and the fixing part 5320 of the wing 532 extend along the longitudinal axis of the crosspiece 32.

[0141] Fastening elements, such as pins or screws, are driven into the corresponding beams (side member and cross member) of the chassis to fix each fastening part 5310, 5320 engaged in a side member slot 31 or cross member 32. The fastening elements extend transversely to the side member or cross member and pass through said fastening part 5310, 5320. Holes may be preformed in the fastening part 5310, 5320 for the passage of the fastening elements or may be formed by the fastening elements themselves when they are put in place (for example with self-drilling screws). It is also possible to use fastening elements (such as screws) which extend vertically through the sole 5311, and, possibly, the sole 5312.

[0142] The wings 531, 532 are made of metal, preferably steel, as are the wings 61, 62 to which the wings 531, 532 are riveted.

[0143] When present, the lower flange 5312 which is welded to the wing 531 is fixed to the spar on the side of the lower face of the spar. When present, the or each flange 5321 is welded to the fixing part 5320.

[0144] Assembly of the upright wings with the wings fixed to the side member and the cross member

[0145] For the assembly of the construction (3D layout), the wings 531, 532 of the system of fitting 5, which are fixed to the beams 31, 32, are positioned opposite the wings 61 respectively 62 of the amount. Wing 531 is then riveted with wing 61, and wing 532 is riveted with wing 62. Several rivets are used to ensure good fixing of the wings together. In the example illustrated in the figures, the connecting part 533 is superimposed on the connecting part 63.

[0146] The assembly part 5314 of the wing 531 is in particular positioned against the wing 61 so as to position the bottom of the cutout 58 flush with or above the upper edge 68 of the wing 61, to allow the passage of the threaded connecting piece 85.

[0147] Preferably, the wings 61, 62 and 531, 532 do not protrude from the upper end of the upright 4. The threaded connecting piece 85 which is housed in the cutout 58 and which extends above the upper edge 68 of the wing 61, remains included in the size (volume) of the construction delimited by the uprights and the ceiling and floor frames.

[0148] Furthermore, the fact that the connecting fitting formed by the wing 531, and that the connecting fitting formed by the wing 532, extend along the longitudinal axis of the spar 31, respectively of the cross member 32, and in particular extend in the vertical mean plane of said spar or of said cross member, allows good distribution of forces during lifting, and a limitation of parasitic moments.

[0149] The assembly by riveting of the wings of the lower part of the upright with the corresponding wings of a side member and a cross member of the floor frame, can be carried out as described above for the wings of the upper part of the upright with the corresponding wings of a side member and a cross member of the ceiling frame.

[0150] The assembly operations between an upright and each frame are carried out for each upright, which makes it possible to obtain the 3D layout of the construction.

[0151] The construction can be lifted by hooking sling hooks (connected to a crane) to lifting parts 86, such as rings, which are screwed into the threaded connecting parts 85 and which extend projecting from the beams of the floor frame (and the upper flanges 5311) by being screwed into the threaded connecting parts 85, preferably through said upper flanges 5311.

[0152] As recalled above, the presence of the metal posts 4 as uprights, and the arrangement of the connecting fittings between posts and beams of the frames in the beam axis, make it possible to ensure good rigidity of the construction and good absorption of forces, which avoids having to use a lifting beam.

[0153] Superposition of construction modules

[0154] It is possible to provide for superimposing two construction modules, in particular in the event of a need for extension following the installation of a first construction module, as presented above, by positioning a second construction module above the first module, so as to connect the uprights of the second module. construction to the uprights of the first construction module to allow water circulation from the uprights of the second construction module through the uprights of the first construction module.

[0155] Juxtaposition of construction modules

[0156] Provision may be made to position a second modular construction juxtaposed to a first modular construction. When two modular constructions are juxtaposed longitudinally, a sealing strip (e.g., made of EPDM) may be added to extend over the two neighboring side members to cover and seal the space between the neighboring side members of the two juxtaposed modular constructions. With the lifting pieces removed, the sealing strip also preferably covers at least a portion of the corresponding orifices 985 provided through the sealing membrane 9 which extend opposite the corresponding threaded orifices 856 of the connecting pieces 85.

Accordingly, it should be understood that, where the features mentioned in the appended claims are followed by reference signs, these signs are included solely for the purpose of improving the intelligibility of the claims and are in no way limiting the scope of the claims.

[0158] Furthermore, the term "comprising" does not exclude other elements or steps. Furthermore, features or steps that have been described with reference to one of the embodiments set forth above may also be used in combination with other features or steps of other embodiments set forth above.
