Description

Title of the invention: Device for receiving and charging electric vehicles. FIELD OF THE INVENTION

[0001] The technical field of the present invention is that of devices for receiving and charging electric vehicles. More particularly, the invention relates to a device for receiving and charging electric vehicles, such as bicycles and scooters, by means of at least one photovoltaic panel. STATE OF THE ART

[0002] Nowadays, the use of electric vehicles such as electric bicycles and scooters is booming, particularly in urban areas, whether for commuting or leisure travel. This mode of transport offers numerous advantages in terms of speed, ease of parking, cost, and reduced environmental impact.

[0003] In order to encourage this sustainable mode of transport and meet users' needs, it is necessary to provide facilities for the secure parking and charging of electric vehicles, whether on public roads or within private spaces such as businesses, condominiums, or shopping centers. In particular, such facilities must allow for the locking of electric vehicles to prevent theft and for their charging to ensure their range.

[0004] There is therefore a growing need for multifunctional devices enabling the reception, locking and charging of electric vehicles such as electric bicycles and scooters.

[0005] Some known devices consist of support structures permanently fixed to the ground, for example by means of concrete slabs or piles driven into the ground. Such fixing methods ensure good stability of the support structure, but prevent any easy relocation of the device. Indeed, moving these devices requires time-consuming operations to unanchor the fixing methods and restore the ground surface, which makes them unsuitable when a change in the device's location is required, for example, to adapt to a change in parking needs.

[0006] Other known devices include reception structures simply placed on the ground, without anchoring. While such devices are more easily moved, they suffer from a lack of stability, particularly in strong winds or when subjected to impact. They can thus tip over or be overturned, which can cause damage to parked electric vehicles and the device itself, and even bodily injury to users.

[0007] Some known devices allow the charging of electric vehicles, such as electric bicycles and scooters, using electrical outlets supplied by the public electricity grid. However, this dependence on the presence of a nearby power supply limits the possibilities for installing these devices. Furthermore, this charging method uses non-renewable energy, which does not contribute to environmental protection.

[0008] Other devices include photovoltaic panels for autonomous electricity production. However, these panels are generally integrated into fixed structures, such as shelters or canopies, making the entire device either unstable if not anchored, or non-movable if anchored to the ground or any other surface.

[0009] There is therefore a need for devices enabling the reception and recharging, by means of a photovoltaic system, of electric vehicles such as electric bicycles and scooters which are easily movable, modular and have good stability. Description of the invention

[0010] The invention therefore relates to a device for receiving and recharging at least one electric vehicle comprising: - a first structure designed to receive, on the one hand, at least one photovoltaic panel and, on the other hand, a second structure, - a second structure removably connected to the first structure and designed to accommodate at least one means of receiving and charging an electric vehicle, - at least one photovoltaic panel removably connected to the first structure, - at least one means of accommodating and charging an electric vehicle, removably connected on the one hand to the second structure and, on the other hand, to at least one photovoltaic panel so as to allow the charging of at least one electric vehicle in the presence of solar radiation, and - a system for stabilizing the device.

[0011] The modular design of the device according to the invention, with a first structure for the photovoltaic panels and a second structure for the means of reception and charging, both connected in a removable way, allows great adaptability in terms of the number of reception places and charging capacity of electric vehicles.

[0012] Furthermore, the removable elements facilitate maintenance and individual replacement of the device's components. This reduces costs and intervention times, and increases the device's availability for users.

[0013] Furthermore, the use of a photovoltaic panel for charging electric vehicles offers both ecological and economic advantages. On the one hand, it provides clean, renewable energy for charging electric vehicle batteries, thus reducing the environmental impact associated with electric vehicle use. On the other hand, it provides energy autonomy to the device, which does not require connection to the electrical grid, and therefore incurs no electricity consumption costs.

[0014] In addition, the use of photovoltaic panels gives the device great adaptability in that it can be installed in many locations, without constraints related to connection to an electrical supply.

[0015] Finally, the ballast system integrated into the charging and reception device according to the invention ensures its stability without the need for anchors to the ground or any other surface. This allows the device to be installed on a wide variety of terrains, even uneven or undeveloped ones, without requiring costly and disruptive civil engineering work. Furthermore, the ballast allows the device to be easily moved if necessary, thus offering multiple possibilities for use.

[0016] Advantageously, the ballast system is represented by at least one reservoir connected to the first structure and intended to receive ballast in a removable manner.

[0017] Using a tank as a ballast system allows for easy adjustment of the mass and ballast distribution according to the device's stability requirements. Furthermore, using a tank facilitates installation of the device on any type of terrain and reduces ballast costs, while simplifying device handling. In addition, the tank allows for the use of a wide variety of ballast.

[0018] Advantageously still, at least one reservoir constitutes a foot of the first structure.

[0019] The fact that the tank forms a base for the first structure ensures the stability and proper load distribution of the device according to the invention. The first structure can be considered the main load-bearing structure. Indeed, the first structure supports all the elements of the device, including the photovoltaic panel(s), the second structure, and at least one charging and storage means. By placing the ballast at the base of the first structure, the center of gravity of the device is lowered and the transmission of forces to the ground is optimized, thus reinforcing the stability of the entire device.

[0020] According to one embodiment of the invention, the ballast is represented by gravel, sand, water, concrete, recycled material and / or metal.

[0021] The use of materials such as gravel, sand, water, concrete, recycled materials, and / or metal as ballast offers several advantages. These materials are inexpensive and readily available, reducing costs and simplifying the implementation of the system. Furthermore, their high density allows for a significant mass within a small volume, thus optimizing the footprint of the ballast tank. In addition, these materials are durable and weather-resistant, ensuring the long-term viability of the ballast.

[0022] Advantageously, the ballast is contained in a resealable container.

[0023] According to yet another embodiment of the invention, at least one means of reception and charging includes a locking system for at least one electric vehicle.

[0024] The presence of a locking system in the docking and charging station provides protection against theft or unauthorized use of the electric vehicle while it is parked in the device. Furthermore, the locking system can be coupled with a user identification system, enabling controlled access management and traceability of device usage.

[0025] According to yet another embodiment of the invention, the locking system comprises a ring disposed outside of at least one means for receiving and recharging.

[0026] The locking ring located outside the docking and charging means allows a wide variety of electric vehicles, regardless of their shape or dimensions, to be locked simply by using a cable or padlock passed through the ring.

[0027] According to yet another embodiment of the invention, the locking system comprises: - a first notch arranged in a first wall of at least one means of reception and recharging, and - a second notch arranged in a second wall of at least one means of receiving and recharging, opposite the first wall,

[0028] the first notch and the second notch being coaxial and cooperating with a door of at least one reception and charging means to allow the locking of at least one electric vehicle.

[0029] This embodiment of the invention is particularly suited to locking electric vehicles such as electric bicycles and electric scooters. The coaxial notches allow protruding and / or elongated elements, such as the stem of an electric bicycle or the mast of an electric scooter, to be inserted into the receiving and charging means. Thus, the electric vehicle can be inserted into the means reception by these structural elements, which are generally standardized and offer a good grip for locking.

[0030] The door then closes and locks the docking and charging station by aligning itself with the notches. This locks the vehicle, which is thus held inside the docking and charging station and cannot be removed without opening the door.

[0031] In addition, the notched locking system can be combined with the locking ring.

[0032] According to yet another embodiment of the invention, the device comprises at least one additional battery connected on the one hand to at least one photovoltaic panel so as to be recharged by at least one photovoltaic panel in the presence of solar radiation and, on the other hand, to at least one reception and recharging means so as to allow the recharging of at least one electric vehicle in the absence of solar radiation.

[0033] In addition, the additional battery improves the availability of the docking and charging device, making it less dependent on sunlight conditions.

[0034] When there is sufficient sunlight, the additional battery recharges using the energy produced by the photovoltaic panel(s), thus storing electricity for later use.

[0035] When an electric vehicle is connected to the docking and charging system, it can be powered either directly by the photovoltaic panels if energy production is sufficient, or by the additional battery if sunlight is weak or nonexistent, or by both. Thus, charging an electric vehicle remains possible in low light or no light, for example at night or on cloudy days. Furthermore, the additional battery ensures continuous charging of the electric vehicle(s) parked in the device according to the invention when a large number of electric vehicles are parked in the device.

[0036] According to yet another embodiment of the invention, the device includes at least one inverter capable of protecting at least one means of receiving and recharging from overloads, short circuits and / or overvoltages.

[0037] Furthermore, the inverter protects the electronic components of the device, and in particular the electronic components embedded in at least one means of docking and charging at least one electric vehicle. Similarly, the inverter protects the battery of at least one electric vehicle from overloads, short circuits, and / or overvoltages.

[0038] According to yet another embodiment of the invention, at least one electric vehicle is an electric bicycle or an electric scooter.

[0039] The invention is particularly suited to the reception and recharging of electric bicycles and electric scooters.

[0040] A first advantage of the present invention lies in the modularity of the reception and charging device.

[0041] Another advantage of the present invention lies in the use of photovoltaic panels for energy autonomy and ecological charging of electric vehicles.

[0042] Another further advantage of the present invention lies in the integrated ballast system, which ensures the stability of the device without requiring anchoring to the ground or any other surface, thus facilitating its installation and movement.

[0043] Another advantage lies in the ballast tank which allows easy adjustment of the mass and distribution of the ballast according to stability requirements.

[0044] Another advantage lies in the locking system of electric vehicles, which offers protection against theft and unauthorized use during charging.

[0045] Another advantage lies in the additional battery which ensures the continuity of charging of the electric vehicle, even in the absence of solar radiation. Brief description of the drawings

[0046] Other features, advantages and details of the invention will be better understood upon reading the supplementary description that follows in relation to the drawings in which:

[0047] [Fig. 1] represents the reception and charging device according to an embodiment of the invention, and

[0048] [Fig.2] represents the means of reception and recharging according to an embodiment of the invention. DETAILED DESCRIPTION

[0049] In the context of the present invention, the term "electric vehicle" means a means of transport using one or more electric motors for its propulsion, powered by an on-board electrical energy source, generally a rechargeable battery. An electric vehicle according to the invention is preferably an electric bicycle or scooter.

[0050] In the context of the present invention, the term "photovoltaic panel" means a device that converts light energy, primarily from the sun, into electrical energy through the photovoltaic effect. Furthermore, a photovoltaic panel produces electrical energy in the presence of light and / or solar radiation.

[0051] In the context of the present invention, a "docking and charging means" means a structure or device that accommodates an electric vehicle while also allowing the electric vehicle to be charged. Furthermore, the docking and charging means allows the electric vehicle's battery to be charged.

[0052] In the context of the present invention, a "ballasting system" is defined as a system designed to increase the mass and lower the center of gravity of a structure in order to improve its stability and resistance to overturning or tipping under the effect of external forces. Furthermore, the ballasting system makes it possible to stabilize the device according to the invention without requiring anchoring to the ground or any other surface, thus allowing for its easy movement while ensuring good stability and resistance to weathering and impacts.

[0053] In the context of the present invention, "reservoir" means a structure comprising an opening allowing the introduction of an element such as ballast into the internal compartment of the reservoir.

[0054] In the context of the present invention, "ballast" means an additional mass, for example made of a dense material, placed in a receptacle such as a tank, a container or a cavity, in order to increase the total mass and lower the center of gravity of the device.

[0055] Fig. 1 represents the reception and charging device 1 according to one embodiment of the invention.

[0056] Device 1 includes a first structure 2 supporting all the elements of the reception and charging device 1.

[0057] In the embodiment shown in [Fig.1], the first structure 2 comprises two feet 6a and 6b intended to be in contact with the ground or the surface on which the device 1 rests. The feet 6a and 6b have, for example, a rectangular shape and each have two opposing longitudinal walls, two opposing lateral walls and a lower wall intended to be in contact with the surface on which the device 1 rests.

[0058] Each foot 6a 6b delimits an internal space open at its upper end, opposite the lower wall. Thus, in the embodiment shown in [Fig. 1], each foot 6a, 6b defines a reservoir 6a, 6b suitable for receiving a material such as ballast.

[0059] A first valve or hatch is optionally arranged in one of the walls of the foot or reservoir 6a, 6b so as to allow the introduction and / or exit of material from the internal space.

[0060] Optionally, each foot or reservoir 6a, 6b is closed by a cover (not shown in a figure) at its upper end. A second hatch or valve is then arranged in the cover so as to allow the introduction of material into the foot or reservoir 6a, 6b.

[0061] Longitudinal bars 23a, 23b, 24a, 24b, 25a, 25b and 26a, 26b are arranged around the perimeter of each foot or reservoir 6a, 6b. According to the embodiment shown in [Fig. 1], the longitudinal bars 23a, 23b, 24a, 24b, 25a, 25b and 26a, 26b are arranged at each intersection of the longitudinal and lateral walls of the feet or reservoirs 6a, 6b.

[0062] Thus, each foot or reservoir 6a, 6b comprises respectively: - a first longitudinal bar 23a, 23b, - a second longitudinal bar 24a, 24b, - a third longitudinal bar 25a, 25b, and - a fourth longitudinal bar 26a, 26b.

[0063] Each longitudinal bar 23a, 23b, 24a, 24b, 25a, 25b and 26a, 26b extends from the lower wall of each foot or tank 6a, 6b to an upper end.

[0064] Optionally, the longitudinal bars 23a, 23b, 24a, 24b, 25a, 25b and 26a, 26b are parallel to each other.

[0065] The first longitudinal bar 23a, 23b and the second longitudinal bar 24a, 24b have an equal or substantially equal length.

[0066] The third longitudinal bar 25a, 25b and the fourth longitudinal bar 26a, 26b have an equal or substantially equal length.

[0067] The length of the first and second longitudinal bars 23a, 23b and 24a, 24b is less than the length of the third and fourth longitudinal bars 25a, 25b and 26a, 26b.

[0068] The number and length of the longitudinal bars 23a, 23b, 24a, 24b, 25a, 25b and 26a, 26b can be adapted according to device 1.

[0069] A first crossbar 21 connects the third and fourth longitudinal bars 25a and 26a of the foot or reservoir 6a to the third and fourth longitudinal bars 25b and 26b of the foot or reservoir 6b.

[0070] A second crossbar 22 connects the first and second longitudinal bars 23a and 24a of the foot or reservoir 6a to the second and third longitudinal bars 23b and 24b of the foot or reservoir 6b.

[0071] In addition, the first crossbar 21 and the second crossbar 22 are parallel.

[0072] The cross bars 21 and 22 are respectively removably connected to the third and fourth longitudinal bars 25a, 25b and 26a, 26b and to the first and second longitudinal bars 23a, 23b and 24a, 24b. For example, by means of screws.

[0073] Two photovoltaic panels 3 are removably connected to the first and second cross bars 21 and 22.

[0074] Thus, the first structure 2 supports at least one photovoltaic panel 3. The difference in length between the first and second longitudinal bars 23a, 23b and 24a, 24b and the third and fourth longitudinal bars 25a, 25b and 26a, 26b allows the photovoltaic panel(s) 3 to be tilted. This allows the capture of solar energy to be optimized according to the latitude and orientation of the device 1 and therefore to optimize the production of electricity.

[0075] In the embodiment shown in [Fig.1], the ballast system is represented by the tanks or feet 6a, 6b connected to the first structure 2. The ballast system 6a, 6b is intended to receive ballast in a removable manner so as to lower the center of gravity of the device 1.

[0076] Ballast can take various forms, such as liquids, bulk materials, prefabricated blocks, or dense objects. Ballast is chosen based on criteria such as its density, cost, availability, ease of implementation, and durability.

[0077] The quantity and distribution of ballast in the foot(s) or reservoir(s) 6a, 6b are determined to optimize the stability of device 1 while taking into account weight, volume, and cost constraints. The ballast system 6a, 6b thus constituted makes it possible to stabilize device 1 without resorting to permanent anchors to the ground or any other surface, thereby facilitating the movement and adaptation of device 1 to different configurations and host surfaces.

[0078] Preferably, the elements of the first structure 2 are made of a material that provides mechanical strength to the device 1 and is weather-resistant. For example, the elements of the second structure 4 are made of metal.

[0079] The second structure 4 is removably connected to the first structure 2. In addition, the second structure 4 is connected to the first structure 2 at the level of the third and fourth longitudinal bars 25a, 25b and 26a, 26b of the first structure 2.

[0080] The second structure 4 comprises at least one crossbar 41 removably connected to the third and fourth longitudinal bars 25a, 25b and 26a, 26b of the first structure 2. According to the embodiment shown in [Fig.1], the second structure 4 comprises two crossbars 41 and 42 removably connected to the third and fourth longitudinal bars 25a, 25b and 26a, 26b of the first structure 2.

[0081] In addition, at least one crossbar 41 or 42 is arranged so as, on the one hand, to reinforce the mechanical resistance and stability of the device 1 and, on the other hand, to allow connection to the first structure 2 of at least one means of reception and charging 5a, 5b.

[0082] Preferably, the elements of the second structure 4 are made of a material that provides mechanical strength to the device 1 and is weather-resistant. For example, the elements of the second structure 4 are made of metal.

[0083] The second structure 4 is intended to receive at least one means of receiving and charging 5a, 5b of an electric vehicle (not shown in a figure).

[0084] The charging and reception means 5a, 5b enables the charging of the electric vehicle and, more specifically, the electric vehicle's battery. The charging and reception means 5a, 5b is an integral part of device 1 in that it is removably connected to the second structure 4, which is itself removably connected to the first structure 2 supporting the photovoltaic panel(s) 3.

[0085] The docking and charging means 5a, 5b is also removably connected to the photovoltaic panel(s) 3. In addition, the docking and charging means 5a, 5b integrates all the components necessary for the transmission of electrical energy from the photovoltaic panel(s) 3 to the battery of the electric vehicle, for example a connection module to the battery of the electric vehicle.

[0086] In the embodiment of the invention shown in [Fig.1], the device 1 comprises four reception and charging means 5a and two reception and charging means 5b which differ only in their dimensions.

[0087] It is understood that the number of charging and docking points 5a, 5b, as well as the number of feet or reservoirs 6a, 6b of the device 1, are adjustable according to the desired size and dimensions of the device 1 and the desired capacity for charging electric vehicles. The device 1 according to the invention may comprise a single foot 6a or 6b and a single charging and docking point 5a, 5b.

[0088] According to an embodiment not shown in [Fig.1], the device 1 includes one or more additional batteries enabling the recharging of an electric vehicle even in the absence of solar radiation.

[0089] The additional battery or batteries are connected on one side to at least one photovoltaic panel 3 so as to be recharged in the presence of light radiation.

[0090] On the other hand, the additional battery or batteries are connected to the reception and charging means 5a, 5b so as to allow the charging of the electric vehicle or vehicles even in the event of insufficient or even non-existent light radiation.

[0091] The number of additional batteries is adaptable depending on the capacity of device 1 and the level of sunlight in the environment where device 1 is installed. Furthermore, the additional battery or batteries are configured to allow continuous charging of electric vehicles, even overnight.

[0092] In addition, device 1 is configured to allow simultaneous charging of the electric vehicle(s) in parking as well as the additional battery(ies) present.

[0093] According to another embodiment of the invention, the device 1 includes at least one inverter to protect the electrical components of the device 1 and in particular the electrical components present in the reception and charging means 5a, 5b.

[0094] The inverter is located between the photovoltaic panels 3 and the electric vehicle battery and, where applicable, the additional battery or batteries. Furthermore, the inverter converts the direct current generated by the photovoltaic panels 3 into alternating current compatible with the electric vehicle batteries.

[0095] Optionally, the inverter incorporates a maximum power point tracking system which continuously adjusts the electrical load of the photovoltaic panels 3 to optimize energy production according to sunlight and temperature conditions.

[0096] The inverter also incorporates electrical protection systems that ensure the safety of users and connected equipment. It also ensures the quality of the supplied alternating current to preserve the integrity of the electrical grid and the proper functioning of the electric vehicle's battery.

[0097] Optionally, the inverter is configured to allow real-time monitoring of the energy production of the photovoltaic panels 3, the electrical consumption, and the state of charge of the electric vehicle(s). This data can be viewed locally on a screen or transmitted via a wireless connection to a visualization system such as a user interface or an application.

[0098] Figure 2 represents a means of receiving and recharging 5a according to a mode of realization of the invention.

[0099] The receiving and charging means 5a is in the form of a housing with an opening closed by a door (not shown in [Fig. 2]). Furthermore, the receiving and charging means 5a allows for the secure storage of items such as an electric vehicle battery. The door is capable of assuming an open position in which the opening of the receiving and charging means 5a is not closed, and a closed position in which the opening of the receiving and charging means 5a is closed. When the door is in the closed position and under normal operating conditions of the device 1, the interior of the receiving and charging means 5a is inaccessible.

[0100] The reception and charging means 5a enables the charging of electric vehicle batteries in that it integrates all the means for connecting the batteries to the photovoltaic panel(s) 3.

[0101] According to the embodiment shown in [Fig.2], the reception and charging means 5a comprises: - a first notch 51 arranged in a first wall 54, and - a second notch 52 arranged in a second wall 55 opposite the first wall 54, - a third wall 56, - a fourth wall 57 opposite the third wall 56, - a fifth wall 58 connected to the first, second, third and fourth walls 54, 55, 56, and 57, and - a door connected to the first, second, third and fourth walls 54, 55, 56, and 57 and arranged to allow or prohibit access to the internal compartment of the reception and recharging means 5a.

[0102] The first notch 51 and the second notch 52 are coaxial and cooperate with the door to allow the electric vehicle to be locked in the docking and charging means 5a. Furthermore, the notches 51 and 52 are designed to receive an element of the electric vehicle, such as a support arm or any suitable component. The interaction of the door and the notches 51 and 52 allows the electric vehicle to be locked in the docking and retrieval means when an element of the electric vehicle is positioned in the notches 51 and 52 and the door is in the closed position.

[0103] A ring 53 is also located on the fourth wall 57 of the docking and charging means 5a. The ring 53 allows an electric vehicle to be locked using a padlock or chain supplied by the user. Furthermore, the ring 53 can be positioned on any wall 54 to 58.

[0104] Furthermore, the reception and charging means 5b illustrated in [Fig. 1] differs from the reception and charging means 5a shown in [Fig. 2] only in its dimensions allowing the device 1 to be adapted to all types of electric vehicle.

[0105] The docking and charging means 5a, 5b also allows for the storage of user accessories such as a helmet, gloves and / or clothing. Similarly, the electric vehicle battery can be placed in the compartment of the docking and charging means 5a, 5b.

[0106] The invention is particularly suited to the docking and charging of electric bicycles and scooters. The user wishing to use the device 1 only has to connect the battery of their vehicle to the docking and charging means 5a or 5b and then lock their vehicle using the locking system 51, 52 and / or 53.
