Description

Title of the invention: Manually transportable panel for wall formwork and associated method technical field

[0001] The present invention relates to the field of formwork using manually transportable panels. A manually transportable panel is a formwork panel that can be moved manually by an operator, in particular, through an opening in a building (door, window, etc.). A manually transportable panel is distinct from a formwork panel, which is moved by crane. Typically, a manually transportable panel has a mass of less than 20 kg.

[0002] In a known manner, a hand-portable panel comprises a frame to which a formwork wall is attached. In practice, the frame comprises a rectangular structure and a plurality of stiffeners connecting the edges of the frame to increase its rigidity. The formwork wall is positioned on a front face of the frame.

[0003] To form a concrete wall, it is known to assemble several hand-portable panels together to form a formwork belt into which concrete in a pasty or liquid state can be poured.

[0004] With reference to [Fig. 1], a top cross-sectional view of an assembly of two hand-portable panels 101A, 101B is shown. Each hand-portable panel 101A, 101B comprises a frame 102 on which a formwork wall 103 is mounted. It is known to assemble hand-portable panels 101A, 101B together, vertically or horizontally, by means of clamping clips 104 that clamp two adjacent frames 102 against each other. This advantageously allows the formwork walls 103 to be aligned to form a continuous formwork surface. Such a clamping clip 104 is, for example, known from patent application DE102022207739A1.

[0005] In practice, with reference to [Fig. 2], when a clamping device 104 is installed, it exerts a compressive force on the frames 102, which deforms them over time. As a result, a gap EC appears between the formwork faces 103, leading to the formation of a raised area on the formwork wall that must be corrected manually. Furthermore, the use of such a clamping device 104 is impractical since it is complex to position to ensure optimal alignment and clamping. In addition, the clamping device 104 must be stored separately, which increases logistical constraints.

[0006] The invention thus aims to eliminate at least some of these drawbacks. PRESENTATION OF THE INVENTION

[0007] The invention relates to a hand-portable panel for the formwork of a wall, the hand-portable panel comprising a chassis including a frame and a formwork wall including a front face configured to form the wall to be formed and a rear face, opposite to the front face, which is mounted securely to the frame, the frame being rectangular and defining two beams of length and two beams of width.

[0008] The invention is remarkable in that each length beam is associated with at least one male connecting member and at least one female connecting member which are permanently connected to the length beam, each male / female connecting member being configured to cooperate with a female / male connecting member of another hand-portable panel.

[0009] Thanks to the invention, a hand-portable panel is available that can be assembled laterally in a very practical and rapid manner, since the connecting elements are not attached but integrated into the hand-portable panel. Furthermore, the presence of two complementary connecting elements on each length of beam allows for various assemblies, which is very advantageous for forming the desired formwork surface.

[0010] According to one aspect, each male / female connecting member is configured to cooperate by screwing with a female / male connecting member of another hand-portable panel.

[0011] A screw connection allows for a durable assembly with reduced wear, since the connecting elements allow for high-quality axial tightening, enabling calibration of the tightening force. A flat contact is thus ensured practically and reliably.

[0012] According to one aspect, a male connecting member of one beam of length is positioned opposite a female connecting member of the other beam of length. This reversed positioning of the connecting members allows a hand-portable panel to be assembled identically when it is turned over. Assembly is thus faster since the orientation of a hand-portable panel is irrelevant.

[0013] According to one aspect, each beam of length is associated only with one male and one female connecting member. This reduces the cost of a manually handled panel while allowing for various assemblies.

[0014] According to one aspect, a spacing height H2 being defined between the male connecting member and the female connecting member of the same beam of length, the beam of length having a height Hl, the parameter H2 / H1 is between 0.3 and 0.6.

[0015] Such a parameter makes it possible to ensure optimal resumption of mechanical forces during an assembly.

[0016] According to one aspect, each length beam has at least one notch opposite a male and / or female connecting member. The presence of a notch in a length beam allows its thickness to be locally reduced This allows for the insertion of a spacer between two beams of adjacent lengths. This eliminates the need to create openings in the formwork wall, which is advantageous. This is particularly beneficial when the formwork wall is made of metal.

[0017] According to one aspect, each length beam and each width beam has connecting openings, each connecting opening being suitable for receiving a male connecting member.

[0018] In one aspect, the connecting openings of a beam are spaced at the same pitch. This allows for various assemblies to be made so that a male connecting member can cooperate with several connecting openings. Preferably, the pitch is the same for all the beams, that is, for the entire frame. Advantageously, add-on connecting members can be used to make opposing connecting openings cooperate to achieve a high-quality axial clamping.

[0019] According to one aspect, the frame comprises at least one plane of symmetry, preferably two planes of symmetry. This allows the hand-portable panel to be used in various orientations.

[0020] According to one aspect, the male connecting member is mounted in translation on a support member fixed to the chassis. This allows it to be guided to ensure tightening while guaranteeing that it does not separate from the chassis.

[0021] According to one aspect, the male connecting member comprises at least one threaded portion capable of cooperating by screwing with the female connecting member.

[0022] According to one aspect, the female connecting member comprises at least one nut mounted in a cage integral with the frame. The female connecting member is thus captive. Preferably, the cage is configured to prevent rotation of the nut to facilitate tightening.

[0023] The invention also relates to a method for assembling a first manually transportable panel as described above to a second manually transportable panel as described above, the assembly method comprising steps consisting of: • Position the first and second manually transportable panels side by side so that their beams of the same length are in contact, • Make the male and female connecting members of the beam length of the first hand-portable panel cooperate with the female and male connecting members of the beam length of the second hand-portable panel so as to align their formwork walls.

[0041] With reference to figures 3 to 5, a hand-portable panel 1 is shown according to one embodiment of the invention for the formwork of a wall, in particular, a concrete wall.

[0042] In this example, the hand-portable panel 1 has a mass of less than 20kg, preferably between 17kg and 19kg.

[0043] As illustrated in [Fig. 3], the hand-portable panel 1 extends laterally in width along an X axis oriented from left to right, in depth along a Y axis oriented from back to front, and in height along a Z axis oriented from bottom to top. The height of the hand-portable panel 1 is also referred to as the "length".

[0044] In this example, the hand-portable panel 1 has a width between 15 cm and 75 cm, a height H1 between 100 cm and 200 cm, and a depth between 5 cm and 10 cm. Such a hand-portable panel 1 is simple and practical to move due to its size and dimensions for a user. Such a hand-portable panel 1 can thus be easily moved through openings in a building, such as a door or window.

[0045] Such a hand-portable panel 1 can be assembled with other panels of the same type in order to form a formwork belt into which a hardening material, for example, concrete, can be poured.

[0046] With reference to [Fig.3], the hand-portable panel 1 comprises a chassis 2 including a frame 20 and a formwork wall 3 attached to the frame 20.

[0047] The formwork wall 3 comprises a front face 3A configured to form the wall to be formed and a rear face 3B which is opposite the front face 3A. The formwork wall 3 is preferably metallic, in particular steel, but it goes without saying that it could be made of wood, plastic or composite material.

[0048] As illustrated in [Fig. 3], the frame 20 is rectangular and defines two beams of length 20a extending along the Z-axis and two beams of width 20b extending along the X-axis. In this example, the corners of the frame 20 are reinforced by reinforcements 23, in particular, angle brackets. Preferably, the frame 20 has a thickness of between 5 cm and 10 cm.

[0049] In this example, the frame 2 further comprises lateral stiffeners 21 extending along the X-axis between two beams of length 20a to increase rigidity. The frame 2 further comprises vertical stiffeners 22 extending along the axis 7 between a beam of width 20b and a lateral stiffener 21. The frame 2 is preferably made of steel.

[0050] In order to facilitate the transport of a hand-portable panel 1 by an operator, the latter also includes handles 24 attached to the lateral stiffeners 21. It goes without saying that they could be positioned differently.

[0051] With further reference to [Fig. 3], each beam of length 20a and each beam of width 20b has connecting openings 7. Each connecting opening 7 is suitable for receiving a male connecting member 4, as will be shown later. Preferably, each connecting opening 7 has a diameter between 15 mm and 20 mm.

[0052] The connecting openings 7 are distributed evenly around the periphery of the frame 20 to allow for various assemblies with several hand-portable panels as illustrated in [Fig. 12].

[0053] Preferably, the connecting openings 7 of a beam of length 20a and / or a beam of width 20b are spaced at the same interval. In this example, the interval is between 30 mm and 70 mm, preferably 50 mm. Such a small interval allows for high precision while maintaining a large connecting opening diameter 7 to withstand high mechanical forces.

[0054] As illustrated in [Fig. 5], the frame 2 comprises two planes of symmetry Q1, Q2 (a horizontal axis Q1 and a vertical axis Q2). This advantageously allows the hand-portable panel 1 to be used in a wide variety of orientations. This enables custom assemblies to be made to achieve the desired dimensions. Furthermore, it allows for the homogeneous distribution of forces.

[0055] The hand-portable panel 1 is remarkable in that each beam of length 20a is associated with at least one male connecting member 4 and at least one female connecting member 5 which are permanently connected to the beam of length 20a. Thus, the connecting members 4, 5 are permanently attached to the hand-portable panel 1.

[0056] Each male connecting member 4 is configured to cooperate with a female connecting member 5 of another hand-portable panel 1. Similarly, each female connecting member 5 is configured to cooperate with a male connecting member 4 of another hand-portable panel 1.

[0057] In this example, and preferably, each beam of length 20a is associated only with a male connecting member 4 and a female connecting member 5. Preferably, with reference to [Fig. 5], a spacing height H2 is defined between the male connecting member 4 and the female connecting member 5. Preferably, the parameter H2 / H1 is between 0.3 and 0.6. Such a spacing height H2 ensures an optimal assembly for distributing mechanical stresses during formwork.

[0058] According to one aspect, as illustrated in [Fig. 5], a male connecting member 4 of a beam of length 20a is positioned opposite a female connecting member 5 of the other beam of length 20a, that is, at the same height. Thus, when two manually handled panels 1 are assembled laterally (which is the most common use) common), they can be assembled directly together. Such an assembly is even independent of the orientation of the hand-portable panels 1.

[0059] As illustrated in [Fig. 6], the male connecting member 4 is mounted in translation on a support member 49 fixed to the frame 2. Such a support member 49 makes the male connecting member 4 captive, thus ensuring that it is always fixed to the beam of length 20a. With reference to [Fig. 10], the male connecting member 4 extends along a connecting axis L oriented from upstream to downstream. The male connecting member 4 includes at least one threaded portion 41 adapted to cooperate by screwing with the female connecting member 5. The threaded portion 41 forms the downstream end of the male connecting member 4. The threaded portion 41 is adapted to project from the frame 20 as illustrated in [Fig. 9]. In this example, the male connecting member 4 includes, upstream, at least one centering portion 42 in order to align the axis L of the connecting member 4 with the lateral axis X. Preferably, the centering portion 42 has a substantially frustoconical shape. The male connecting member 4 includes, upstream, at least one stop ring 43 to ensure optimal tightening. The male connecting member 4 includes, upstream, at least one clamping portion 44, in particular configured to cooperate with a tightening wrench or impact wrench. In this example, with reference to [Fig. 10], the male connecting member 4 is connected to the support member 49 by a fastener 48 in order to guide the translation during the installation of the male connecting member 4.

[0060] The male connecting member 4 thus moves between a retracted position in which the male connecting member 4 is located within the perimeter of the frame 20 and an extended position in which the male connecting member 4 protrudes from the frame 20 ([Fig. 9]). In the retracted position, the male connecting member 4 is advantageously protected against impacts. Furthermore, its overall size is reduced.

[0061] Each male connecting member 4 is associated with a connecting opening 7 as illustrated in [Fig. 6] and [Fig. 9]. Preferably, the beam of length 20a includes on its outer surface at least one notch 6 opposite the connecting opening 7 associated with the male connecting member 4. Similarly, as illustrated in [Fig. 7] and [Fig. 11], the beam of length 20a includes on its outer surface at least one notch 6 opposite the connecting opening 7 associated with the female connecting member 5. In other words, the beam of length 20a has a reduced thickness opposite the connecting opening 7 associated with each connecting member 4, 5. It is nevertheless understood that a notch 6 could be provided only opposite the connecting opening 7 associated with the male connecting member 4 or the female connecting member 5.

[0062] With reference to [Fig. 11], the notch 6 preferably has a height H6 defined along the Z-axis between 2 cm and 4 cm. The notch 6 preferably has a depth P6 defined along the X-axis between 2 mm and 4 mm.

[0063] As will be shown later in Figures 13 to 15, this allows for the insertion of a spacer 8 whose function is to secure the hand-portable panel 1 to another hand-portable panel positioned opposite it in a formwork to absorb the formwork forces. It is thus unnecessary to drill through the formwork wall. The end of the spacer 8 fits into the notch(s) 6, ensuring optimal lateral contact between the two hand-portable hips 1. Advantageously, the male connecting member 4 contributes to the fixing of the spacer 8 by extending into a lug formed at the end of the spacer 8.

[0064] According to one aspect, with reference to [Fig. 7] and [Fig. 11], the female connecting member 5 comprises at least one nut 51 mounted in a cage 52 integral with the frame 2, in particular, integral with the beam of length 20a. Thus, the female connecting member 5 is captive. The cage 52 is in the form of a metal piece that prevents the nut 51 from rotating. Thus, when the threaded portion 41 of the male connecting member 4 is screwed into the nut 51 of the female connecting member 5, the nut 51 does not rotate and the screwing is effective in achieving tightening. The cage 52 has an opening 520 to allow the passage of the free end of the male connecting member 4. The length of the male connecting member 4 is preferably greater than the thickness of the cage 52 because it allows for the optional attachment of a clevis to a support strut.

[0065] It goes without saying that the male connecting member 4 and the female connecting member 5 could have different shapes. The important thing is that they can cooperate in such a way as to achieve optimal tightening and thus allow a robust assembly.

[0066] An example of implementing a method for assembling a first hand-portable panel 1' to a second hand-portable panel 1” will now be presented with reference to [Fig. 12]. In this example, the assembly is of the lateral type, and the assembly method includes a step consisting of positioning the first hand-portable panel 1' and the second hand-portable panel 1” side by side so as to bring their beams of length 20a', 20a”. The contact between the beams of length 20a', 20a” is achieved in a stable manner, with flat surfaces in contact.

[0067] With reference to [Fig. 13], the assembly method includes a step of making the male connecting member 4' and the female connecting member 5' of the beam of length 20a' of the first hand-portable panel 1' cooperate with the female connecting member 5" and the male connecting member 4" of the beam of length 20a" of the second hand-portable panel 1" so as to align their formwork walls 3', 3". The threaded portion 41' cooperates with the nut 51” to ensure tightening while the centering portion 42' ensures the alignment of the hand-portable panels 1', 1”.

[0068] As illustrated in [Fig. 13], one end of a spacer 8 is mounted on the male connecting member 4' and allows for a connection with opposing hand-portable panels as shown in [Fig. 15]. When the male connecting member 4' is tightened, the two beams of length 20a', 20a” come into precise planar contact, ensuring a high-quality assembly as illustrated in [Fig. 15]. The end of the spacer 8 is then precisely positioned between the two beams of length 20a', 20a” in the notches 6', 6”.

[0069] Advantageously, with reference to [Fig. 15], due to the presence of notches at the interface of the connecting members, spacers for the transfer of forces can pass through the formwork without requiring drilling the formwork wall or affecting the performance of the assembly.

[0070] Thanks to the invention, the hand-portable panels 1', 1" can be assembled directly without the use of additional clamping clips. Indeed, the connecting elements 4', 4", 5', 5" are captive and therefore integrated into the hand-portable panels 1', 1", which significantly speeds up assembly.

[0071] Furthermore, a clamping action of the connecting elements 4', 4”, 5', 5” allows for a much higher quality axial clamping compared to a clamping tool. Indeed, axial tightening by screwing ensures perfect alignment during assembly, with the formwork walls 3', 3” being flush. The mechanical forces are absorbed axially thanks to the advantageous characteristics of the connecting elements (centering portion, nut orientation, etc.).

[0072] In addition, as illustrated in [Fig. 12], several types of assembly can be carried out in a complementary manner due to the regular spacing of the through openings at the periphery of the frame 20.

[0073] Thus, still referring to [Fig. 12], a third hand-portable panel 1” can be positioned above the two hand-portable panels 1’, 1” in order to secure the beam of length 20a”’ to the beams of width 20b’, 20b” of the hand-portable panels 1’, 1”. For this purpose, added connecting members can be used to achieve axial clamping by taking advantage of the connecting openings which can be aligned. The captive connecting members of the hand-portable panels 1”, 1’”, 1” can in particular be used with added members.

[0074] Similarly, a fourth 1" hand-portable panel can be positioned laterally to the second 1" hand-portable panel and the third 1" hand-portable panel. For this purpose, added connecting members can be used to achieve axial clamping by taking advantage of the connecting openings which can to be matched. The permanently mounted connecting elements of the hand-portable panels 1', 1”, 1”' can in particular be used with added elements.

[0075] Thanks to the invention, the hand-portable panel can be conveniently and quickly assembled to other hand-portable panels with precision and robustness. A variety of assemblies can be achieved. The presence of integrated connecting elements makes it possible to accelerate conventional lateral assemblies while ensuring a robust assembly and low wear.
