Abstract
Method for controlling the drift of a leak detector and associated equipment. The invention relates to a method for controlling the drift of measurements of a leak detector (1) of a tracer gas in a piece of equipment (100), capable of performing a leak test cycle on a part to be tested (A) placed in a measuring chamber (101). The method comprises the following steps: injection of the tracer gas with a predefined concentration value into a pipe communicating with the leak detector (1); the leak detector (1) measures an internal concentration of the tracer gas; comparison of the measured value with the predefined concentration value; in case of a difference, determination of a correction factor; and application of the correction factor to the measured value of the tracer gas concentration in the measuring chamber (101) during said test cycle. The invention also relates to the equipment (100) for implementing said method. Figure for the abstract: Fig.1 .
