[01] The present invention belongs to the technical field of low-quality marine green energy utilization, and in particular to a direct seawater circulation and hydrogen production system utilizing low-quality marine new energy, and a working method therefor. BACKGROUND ART

[02] Hydrogen is considered the most promising energy carrier to provide a clean, reliable, and sustainable energy system. In order to transform fossil energy into green and clean energy, it is ideal practice to use water electrolysis based hydrogen production, which is also currently a research focus in the field of new energy. Seawater is known as the most extensive “hydrogen ore” on the earth. Although seawater electrolysis is the optimal solution to hydrogen production, revolutionary breakthrough still has to be made for the industrial popularization. Direct seawater electrolysis based hydrogen production is now basically in the experimental stage all over the world because of its considerable difficulties. The majority of existing seawater based hydrogen production focus on indirect seawater based hydrogen production with the essence of fresh water based hydrogen production. That is, seawater is firstly desalinated into high-purity fresh water for hydrogen production. As a complicated technological process, seawater desalination and purification relies on the combined action of a variety of apparatuses and technologies upon the massive energy and capital investment. Impurities of the complexly-composed seawater will lead to filtration device blockage, catalyst deactivation, a low electrolysis efficiency, a high cost, etc., which has become a critical problem in practical application. Moreover, water-insoluble impurities will deposit and adhere to a catalyst surface and an ion exchange membrane in the process of seawater based hydrogen production. Accordingly, an ion channel and catalytic active sites will be blocked, resulting in catalyst deactivation and ion exchange membrane failure.

[03] Currently, there has not been an effective method for efficiently improving seawater electrolysis based hydrogen production in the prior art. The water electrolysis based hydrogen production still suffers from seawater desalination and purification, strict and complicated technological production requirements, a low electrolysis efficiency, etc., which has a dramatical impact on the economic practicability.
