Mount assembly

Abstract

A mount for isolating vibrations between vehicle components. The mount includes first anchor 104 defining an aperture 108, first resilient portion 111 extending into the aperture from first side of the aperture; second resilient portion 112 extending into the aperture from second side of the aperture opposite the first side. First and / or second resilient portion has a tapered face 113, 114 to form an inwardly tapering aperture opening (fig 7). Second anchor 105 (fig 6) is within the aperture between the two resilient portions and may be removeable. The second anchor may have inwardly curved concave engagement faces 155, 156 corresponding to outwardly curved convex taper faces between ledges 157. Additional resilient portions 115, 116 may form continuous resilient ring with first and second resilient portions. Second anchor may include wings 161, 162 outside the aperture.
