Abstract
A variable evaporation radiator humidifier 1 occupies the space underneath a radiator between the radiator and the floor below to keep it as close to the floor as possible. A water tank 7 sits on the floor and metal filaments 8 are used to conduct heat from the back of the radiator above towards the water in the tank through the slots 5 provided in the hinged covers 4 and are held in place by magnets on the radiator. The rate of evaporation can be increased by opening more covers 4. A fascia panel 12 with magnets 14 attached to the top is hung vertically at the bottom of the radiator to conceal the humidifier 1.
