Abstract

A computer-implemented method for proving that a data item is included in a set of data items, comprising for each data item, generating a first private key, generating a public key that may be based on a second private key which has been generated by aggregating the first private keys, generating a proof of inclusion based on the respective data item and the second private key, and making the data item and / or a commitment thereof, the public key, and the respective proof of inclusion available to a verifying party for verifying that the data item belongs to the dataset.
