Abstract

A hydraulic pump apparatus 100 comprising a housing 154; a drive shaft 132; a hydraulic fluid inlet fluidly connected to one or more low-pressure manifolds 136 within the housing; first to third hydraulic fluid outlets fluidly connected to respective first to third high pressure manifolds 138A, 138B, 138C within the housing; and a plurality of piston cylinder units; the plurality of piston cylinder units comprises first to third cylinder groups 140A,140B, 140C each comprising one or more of the piston cylinder units, where each piston cylinder unit of the first cylinder group comprises a high-pressure valve 120A which is fixedly connected to the first hydraulic fluid outlet via the first high-pressure manifold, where each piston cylinder unit of the second cylinder group comprises a high-pressure valve 120B which is fixedly connected to the second hydraulic fluid outlet via the second high-pressure manifold and where each piston cylinder unit of the third cylinder group comprises a high-pressure valve 120C which is fixedly connected to the third hydraulic fluid outlet via the third high-pressure manifold.
