Abstract

A battery (1) comprising a cover assembly (11), a cell (13) and a housing (12); wherein the cell (13) is accommodated in the housing (12); the cover assembly (11) is connected to the cell (13) and the housing (12), respectively; characterized in that the cover assembly (11) comprises: a busbar plate (112) arranged in the housing (12) and connected to the upper end of the cell (13) so as to be connected to the first electrode tab (131) of the cell (13); and a plastic insert (1142) arranged between the housing (12) and the busbar plate (112); wherein the edge of the plastic insert (1142) extends in a direction close to the busbar plate (112) to form an insulating portion (11423); the plastic insert (1142) covers the busbar plate (112) with the insulating part (11423); and one side of the insulating part (11423) fits the inner wall of the housing (12).
