Abstract
This article is a nylon cord cutter for mowing grass that is attached to the tip of a brush cutter. As shown in the reference diagram, this article includes a case and cover that form a housing, a line holder and a spring housed inside the housing, and a ground striker attached to the lower part of the housing via a bolt. Two holes are formed in the peripheral wall of the cover, and a cord outlet is fitted into each hole from the inside. When in use, a nylon cord is wound around the line holder, and an end of the nylon cord is pulled out to the outside from the cord outlet. When the brush cutter is driven, the entire article rotates, allowing grass to be mowed with the nylon cord. When the ground striker hits the ground during rotation of the article, the line holder is lifted against the bias of the spring, and the locked state of the line holder by the lock mechanism (not shown) is temporarily released. At this time, the centrifugal force of the nylon cord pulled out from the cord outlet acts on the line holder, so that the line holder rotates relative to the housing and the nylon cord is automatically paid out.
