Abstract
This article is an earth retaining wall made by combining liner plates, each of which has flanges attached to the four sides of a corrugated steel plate, and joining them in a rectangular shape in plan view in order to prevent the collapse of the earth wall surface of a shaft excavated in the ground. In this earth retaining wall, adjacent flanges on the left and right that form the vertical joints between the liner plates of the same tier are joined with bolts, and adjacent flanges on the top and bottom that form the horizontal joints between the liner plates of upper and lower tiers are joined by hooking metal fittings. In addition, adjacent hooking metal fittings are attached in alternating hooking directions so that the flanges of the liner plates do not fall off when a shear force acts in a direction that causes them to shift relative to each other.
