Capping machine

Abstract

The article of the design is a capping machine for sealing a container by placing a lid on the opening of the container. This capping machine is used in conjunction with a coffee machine or a beverage dispenser, such as a juice dispenser, in convenience stores or fast food restaurants. It is configured to place a separate lid on the opening of a container containing contents and then seal the lid to the container, thereby sealing the container. The capping machine includes a support for supporting the container and positioning the lid over the opening, and a heater for heat-sealing the lid to the container. As shown in Reference Figure 1, the heater is initially positioned further back than the container placement position on the support. When the user operates the lever forward, the heater moves to a position above the lid and container, as shown in Reference Figure 2. When the lever is further rotated downward, the heater also moves downward, eventually pressing the lid against the container and heating it, sealing the container and the lid together. In addition, the capping machine of this design is formed to be approximately the same size as an extractor or server, or smaller than an extractor or server.
