Spot Joining Machine

Abstract

This article is a spot joining machine that is mainly attached to an industrial robot and used to join workpieces. As shown in the reference diagram showing the usage state, a movable electrode and a fixed electrode are attached to a C-shaped frame so as to face each other. The frame is connected to the industrial robot via an arm. The movable electrode is driven by the drive unit so that it can move toward and away from the fixed electrode. This article joins the workpieces by applying a voltage to the workpieces held between both electrodes.
