Abstract

The article according to the design of this application is a sample pretreatment device that includes a pretreatment device that performs pretreatment such as centrifugation, liquid removal, reagent supply, mixing, and extraction on a sample such as a culture medium, and a sample storage device that stores a large number of sample containers. A user opens the door of the sample storage device, places a sample container in the device, and closes the door to issue an instruction to start the pretreatment operation. The sample stored in the sample storage device is transported to the pretreatment device or an analyzer by a transport mechanism.
