Abstract

This article is a climbing step to be installed on temporary scaffolding, etc., formed by assembling single pipes, etc., and is attached at predetermined intervals via fixing means to the single pipes installed vertically on the temporary scaffolding. The step portion on which the worker places his / her feet is rotatably attached so as to rotate upward to a mounting base equipped with fixing means to the single pipes. The mounting base does not have a drive source for rotating the step portion or a mechanism for maintaining the rotated upward state, so the step portion is maintained in a horizontal position when attached to the single pipe. The fixing means equipped on the mounting base can be selected from either a pipe clamp for fixing, or a bolt and nut for fixing to a through-hole provided in the single pipe.
