Abstract

This article is a climbing step that is installed on temporary scaffolding, etc., formed by assembling single pipes, etc., and is attached at predetermined intervals via fixing means to the single pipes that are installed vertically on the temporary scaffolding. The step portion on which the worker places his / her feet is rotatably attached so that it can rotate upward to a mounting base that has fixing means for the single pipes. The step portion is equipped with a non-slip surface to prevent the worker's feet from slipping when placed on it. The mounting base does not have a drive source for rotating the step portion or a mechanism for maintaining the rotated upward state, so the step portion is maintained in a horizontal position when attached to the single pipe. The fixing means provided on the mounting base can be selected from either a pipe clamp for fixing or a bolt and nut for fixing to a through-hole provided in the single pipe.
