Abstract

This tent, used for outdoor camping, has a hexagonal roof in a plan view. Semicircular pole insertion sections are formed at the lower front and back sections of the roof, and the lower section is rounded, with a slight upward rise, rather than a simple slope. This expands the space underneath the tent and improves its usability. The rounded lower sections at the front and back are equipped with zippers that can be used to open and close the tent. As shown in gray in the figure, mesh panels are arranged on each side of the hexagon, providing breathability and light transmission. The hexagonal roof can also be used alone, and when used alone, it can be used as a waterproof sheet or sunshade.
