Mold cooling pipe

Abstract

The article is a mold cooling pipe that supplies cooling water to a mold, and as shown in the reference front view, it comprises a hose connection portion through which cooling water is supplied, a main body portion that is inserted into the hose connection portion, and a C-shaped snap ring that secures the main body portion to the hose connection portion. As shown in the reference left side view, the snap ring attached to the main body portion is provided with a pair of through holes into which a jig is inserted when attaching or detaching the snap ring to the main body. A step is formed in part of the end face of the hose connection portion on the snap ring side, with part of the end face recessed toward the pipe. The gap formed by the step between the end face of the hose connection portion and the snap ring can receive the tip of a jig inserted into the through hole.
