Abstract

This product is a sample preparation tube strip used to extract or purify target substances from samples, such as in nucleic acid isolation. It is used in combination with other sample preparation devices, as shown in the "Reference Diagram Showing the Usage State." The numbers 1 through 6 in the "Front View" of this product correspond to the six holes 1 through 6 in the "Top View" of this product. In the nucleic acid isolation process, first, a magnetic stirring ball and magnetic stirring ball diluent are placed in hole 1, a dissolving solution in hole 2, different types of cleaning solutions in holes 3, 4, and 6, and an eluent in hole 5. The following steps are then performed: (1) One or more of this product are placed in a sample preparation tube strip rack, a magnetic stirring bar cover is inserted into hole 1, and the sample to be processed or purified is placed in hole 2. (2) The magnetic stirring bar cover is driven by a drive mechanism and rotates within hole 1, adsorbing the magnetic stirring ball to its outer surface. (3) The magnetic stirring bar cover with the magnetic stirring ball adsorbed to its outer surface is moved into hole 2, where the magnetic stirring ball adsorbs the nucleic acid in the sample. (4) The magnetic stir bar cover that has undergone the process (3) is moved in the order of hole 3, hole 4, and hole 6, and impurities in the sample are washed away. (5) The magnetic stir bar cover that has undergone the process (4) is moved into hole 5, and the nucleic acid is released from the magnetic stir ball under heating conditions. (6) The magnetic stir bar cover that has undergone the process (5) is returned to hole 1, and the nucleic acid remains in hole 5.
