Abstract

This article is a metal fitting for fastening an object to be fixed, such as an angle bar that supports a supported object, such as a cable rack or earthquake-resistant frame, to a structure such as an H-shaped steel beam, and is made up of a clamping bracket that is formed in a roughly triangular shape in plan view and a roughly L-shaped shape in side view, a hexagon socket head bolt with a pointed tip that is screwed into a screw hole provided in the clamping bracket and attached so as to protrude towards the structure, an adjustment bolt with a recessed tip that is screwed into a screw hole provided in the clamping bracket and can advance and retreat relative to the structure, and a connection between the head of the adjustment bolt and the clamping bracket. and a locking nut threaded onto the adjustment bolt between the clamping bracket and the hexagon socket head bolt, the protruding portion of the hexagon socket head bolt being abutted against the upper surface of the flange of the structure, a clamping bolt inserted into an insertion hole of the fixed object being inserted into an insertion hole of the clamping bracket and a clamping nut being threaded onto the upper surface of the clamping bracket, the fixed object being disposed between the clamping bracket and the head of the clamping bolt, and the structure and the fixed object being clamped together by tightening the clamping bolt. As shown in Reference Figures 1 to 3 showing a usage state, the length of protrusion of the adjustment bolt from the underside of the clamping bracket is adjusted according to the flange thickness of the H-shaped steel structure, and the height of the clamping bracket relative to the angle iron being the fixed object is adjusted, thereby maintaining the clamping bolt approximately perpendicular to the joint surface between the H-shaped steel and the angle iron, and the clamping bolt is inserted into the insertion hole of the angle iron to attach the article to the angle iron. The tightening bolts in the reference diagrams showing the state of use are fully threaded with torque control nuts attached to the heads of the tightening bolts. The product is then positioned so that the flange of the H-beam is clamped between the protruding portion of the hexagon socket head bolt of the clamping bracket and the angle bar, and the tightening bolt is then tightened, clamping and fixing the end of the hexagon socket head bolt to the flange of the H-beam and the adjustment bolt to the angle bar.
