Pipe fittings

Abstract

This product is a pipe fitting for connecting a tube that carries fluid to equipment. As shown in the reference exploded perspective view, this pipe fitting has a body that houses a collet, collet case, front ring, and tube seal, and a cap attached to the opening of the body. As shown in Reference Figure 1, which shows the state of use, when the tube is inserted into the body, the tip surface of the tube abuts the bottom surface of the collet. As shown in Reference Figure 2, which shows the state of use, when the tube is inserted further into the body, the collet is pushed by the tube and moves deeper into the body, and the collet's locking claws abut against the step of the collet case, reducing their diameter. This product locks the tube with the reduced diameter locking claws.
