Pipe fitting body

Abstract

This product is a pipe fitting body that houses the various components that make up a pipe fitting that connects a tube that carries fluid to equipment. As shown in Reference Figure 1, which shows the state of use, the pipe fitting is configured with a collet, collet case, front ring, and tube seal housed inside the body, which is the product, and a cap attached to the opening of the product. As shown in Reference Figure 2, which shows the state of use, when a tube is inserted into the product, the tip surface of the tube abuts the bottom surface of the collet. As shown in Reference Figure 3, which shows the state of use, when the tube is inserted further into the product, the collet is pushed by the tube and moves deeper into the body, and the collet's locking claws abut against the step of the collet case, reducing their diameter. The pipe fitting locks the tube with the reduced diameter locking claws.
