The ammonia combustion bed burner auxiliary combustion chamber of this design has an inclined wall above the auxiliary combustion chamber and a triangular recess inside the chamber, creating a high-temperature back-step flow (recirculation). This suppresses the spread of the flame, improves flame stability, and enables stable combustion of flame-retardant ammonia fuel.
