Abstract

This article is made of metal and is used by being screwed onto the upper end of an anchor bolt installed in the foundation, and is typically a unit that is joined to other adjacent units in the vertical and horizontal directions to form part of the framework of a wooden frame building, and is used to join the unit to the foundation by being received from below into an insertion hole formed in the lower part of the unit, which includes vertical members located at each of the four corners and horizontal members that are respectively installed between adjacent vertical members and form rectangular frames above and below the unit.The article has a female threaded hole that is open at its lower end and continues upward, and an anchor bolt that protrudes above the foundation is received in this female threaded hole from below and screwed into the anchor bolt. The center of the female screw hole (indicated by symbol a in the reference cross-sectional view) is eccentric with respect to the center of the article (indicated by symbol b in the reference cross-sectional view), and the article can be screwed onto the anchor bolt so that the position where the distance between the center of the anchor bolt and the outer periphery of the article screwed onto it is greatest can be changed in the direction around the anchor bolt. This makes it possible to properly insert the article into the fitting hole formed with high precision at a predetermined position on the unit in a factory, even if there is an error in the installation position of the anchor bolt installed on site.
