Abstract

To provide a surge pressure absorption device with a new configuration.SOLUTION: An absorption device 2 includes a container 61 and a gas pressure circuit 71. The container 61 includes a space for storing gas. The container 61 receives fluid from a head side chamber 45h side where the capacity is reduced when an advancing / retreating member 41 that can advance inside the metal mold 101 and retreat to the opposite side retreats by the pressure of molten metal 109 in a metal mold 101 of a fluid pressure type or gas type surge cylinder 43 fixed to the advancing / retreating member 41, accompanied by the compression of the gas in the container 61. The gas pressure circuit 71 adjusts the pressure in a gas chamber 61b by at least one of supply of gas to the gas chamber 61b and discharge of gas from the gas chamber 61b.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
