Abstract

To provide a method of controlling a virtual-space event allowing for smoothly performing an event.SOLUTION: A method of controlling a virtual-space event includes: allowing first and second avatars to be participants in an event to be performed in a virtual space, the first avatar being set in a visible state to be visually recognized from another first avatar and the second avatar and in a contactable state allowed to contact another first avatar and the second avatar being set, as an initial state, in a non-visible state not to be visually recognized from the first avatar and in a non-contactable state not allowed to contact the first avatar (S1); changing the second avatar from the non-visible state to the visible state to be visually recognized from the first avatar if a first situation takes place (S3); and changing the second avatar into the contactable state allowed to contact the first avatar if a second situation takes place (S5).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
