Abstract

To provide a power supply device capable of stably supplying electric power.SOLUTION: A power supply device is mounted on a mobile object that moves along a route on which a power reception antenna and a position marker indicating a position of the power reception antenna are arranged. The position marker includes: an antenna portion indicating a range of the power reception antenna; and a gate portion positioned on a front side of the antenna portion with respect to a direction of travel of the mobile object. The power supply device comprises: an image acquisition unit that acquires an image capturing a direction in which the position marker is arranged at predetermined time intervals; a marker detection unit that detects a range in which the position marker is being captured from the image; a distance estimation unit that, upon the gate portion being detected from the image, estimates an opposing distance to the position marker on the basis of the range of the gate portion contained in the image; a power setting unit that sets a transmission power on the basis of the opposing distance; and a power transmission control unit that performs control for transmitting a power transmission signal in the direction in which the power reception antenna is arranged at the transmission power while the antenna portion is being detected from the image.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
