Abstract

To enable a passenger to understand a front-rear relation between images by performing control so that vertical positions of the images to be displayed do not overlap even when the passenger changes his or her eye positions in a height direction.SOLUTION: There is provided a head-up display device 100 which projects one or more images one over the other in a display area virtually set in front of a vehicle over the foreground so as to let a passenger to view, and the head-up display device has: a display part 120 which projects and displays a first image and a second image in the display area VA; and a control part 160 which displays the images at a display part with the first image more on an inner side than the second image viewed from the passenger. The control part performs first control to arrange the first image and / or the second image at different display position and / or in different display modes based upon the height-directional positions of the eyes of the passenger, and also performs second control to rearrange the first image and / or the second image to avoid an overlap if the first image and the second image vertically overlap each other under the first control.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
