The base 313 has a front upper surface 313a, a rear upper surface 313b, and a side wall 313c. The front upper surface 313a is a flat surface that is inclined downwards, with the front end side being the lowest and the rear end side being the highest, on the front side of the base 313 in the front-rear direction. The rear upper surface 313b is a flat surface with no height difference between the front end side and the rear end side. The front upper surface 313a and the rear upper surface 313b are arranged continuously in the front-rear direction. The side wall 313c is a peripheral surface of the base 313 that stands up from the bottom surface 310 in the up-down direction. The illumination unit 5 described later is placed on the base 313.
[0019] As shown in Figures 2A and 2C, the claw portion 314 is disposed between the irradiation port 312 and the base portion 313 in the front-rear direction, and at a position slightly offset from the irradiation port 312 and the base portion 313 toward the outside in the width direction of the toilet body 10. The claw portion 314 is formed as a rectangular plate-shaped protrusion that protrudes from the bottom surface portion 310, and as shown in Figure 2C, the tip is bent at a substantially right angle. The width direction of the plate forming the claw portion 314 is aligned with the front-rear direction of the toilet body 10, and the tip is bent toward the center of the bottom surface portion 310 in the width direction.
[0020] The auxiliary protrusion 315 is disposed on the outer side in the width direction opposite the claw portion 314 of the base portion 313, and further rearward than the claw portion 314. The auxiliary protrusion 315 is configured as a substantially rectangular plate-shaped protrusion with a width narrower than the claw portion 314. The auxiliary protrusion 315 protrudes from the bottom surface portion 310 at a height lower than the claw portion 314. The auxiliary protrusion 315 protrudes such that the width direction of the plate is aligned with the width direction of the toilet body 10.
[0021] The waterproof rib portion 316 is a frame-shaped portion disposed behind the nozzle insertion hole 311. The waterproof rib portion 316 is disposed so as to surround the nozzle insertion hole 311, the irradiation port 312, the base portion 313, the claw portion 314, and the auxiliary protrusion portion 315. As shown in FIG. 2A, the claw portion 314 disposed inside the waterproof rib portion 316 is closer to one side in the width direction of the waterproof rib portion 316. The waterproof rib portion 316 has a wider space on the other side in the width direction than on one side. The waterproof rib portion 316 has a standing wall 316a, a protruding portion 316b, and a guide wall 316c.
[0022] The standing wall 316a stands upward from the bottom surface portion 310. The standing wall 316a is formed along the front, rear, and both side portions of the front base portion 31. The width between the rear and front of the standing wall 316a and the width between both side portions are approximately the same, and the standing wall 316a has a shape close to a square.
[0023] The protruding portion 316b protrudes forward in a generally U-shape at a position on the front side of the standing wall 316a, toward one side in the width direction of the toilet body 10. The protruding portion 316b protrudes so as to surround the periphery of the irradiation port 312.
[0024] The guide wall 316c is a portion that extends inward from the frame formed by the upright wall 316a so that the wall on the other side in the width direction of the toilet body 10 of the protruding portion 316b extends in the front-rear direction toward the inside of the waterproof rib portion 316. The guide wall 316c guides the periphery of the lighting unit 5 when positioning the lighting unit 5 described below.
[0025] As shown in Fig. 4, the buttocks washing mechanism 4 is disposed in the approximate center of the front base part 31 in the width direction of the toilet body 10. The buttocks washing mechanism 4 has a nozzle part 41, a cover 42, and a water supply mechanism (not shown). The buttocks washing mechanism 4 is a device that discharges washing water into the toilet bowl part 11 to wash the user's buttocks.
[0026] Nozzle portion 41 is formed in a cylindrical shape and is a pipe that discharges hot and cold water into toilet bowl 11; for example, two pipes are arranged next to each other. Nozzle portion 41 is attached at a downward incline from the rear side to the front side. Nozzle portion 41 passes above waterproof rib portion 316, and its tip is inserted into nozzle insertion hole 311 of front base portion 31. The tip of nozzle portion 41 is arranged at the upper rear part of toilet bowl 11.
[0027] The cover 42 is a cover that covers the pair of nozzle portions 41. The cover 42 is disposed in approximately the center of the front base portion 31 in the width direction so as to extend in the front-rear direction of the toilet body 10.
[0028] The water supply mechanism 43 includes a hose that supplies hot and cold water to the nozzle portion 41, a solenoid valve that opens and closes a valve of a water supply pipe that supplies hot and cold water, a motor that drives these, etc. The water supply mechanism 43 is disposed below and at the rear of the nozzle portion 41.
[0029] The lighting unit 5 is a light that illuminates the inside of the toilet bowl 11. The lighting unit 5 is disposed behind the toilet bowl 11 and attached to the base unit 3. The overall external shape of the lighting unit 5 is a substantially rectangular parallelepiped, and includes a light source 51 and a wiring unit 52.
[0030] The light source 51 is a light emitting diode optical element, and is covered with a plastic casing. The light source 51 is disposed so as to be located above the irradiation port 312.
[0031] The connection part 52 is disposed behind the light source 51 and connected to the light source 51. The connection part 52 is a part where the wiring 52a that supplies power to the light source 51 is connected and bundled. The connection part 52 is mounted on the base part 313 and is located higher than the light source 51. The connection part 52 is disposed below the nozzle part 41 of the buttocks washing mechanism 4. The connection part 52 is surrounded by a frame-shaped waterproof rib part 316 and is supported by the base part 313 to be located higher. As shown in FIG. 2B and FIG. 6, the connection part 52 is supported by the base part 313, so that the lighting part 5 is inclined from the rear side to the front side. Even if water such as cleaning water discharged from the buttocks washing mechanism 4 enters the front base part 31 side, the connection part 52 is prevented from being submerged.
[0032] As shown in FIG. 3, the lighting unit 5 is sized so that its front end fits into the protruding portion 316b that protrudes in a generally U-shape at the front end side of the upright wall 316a of the waterproof rib portion 316. One end of the lighting unit 5 in the width direction abuts and engages with the claw portion 314. The rear end of the lighting unit 5 is attached so as to be placed on the base portion 313. The end of the lighting unit 5 opposite to the side where the claw portion 314 abuts is aligned with the guide wall 316c of the waterproof rib portion 316, and the lighting unit 5 is pushed forward while being guided by the claw portion 314 and the guide wall 316c, so that the lighting unit 5 fits into the protruding portion 316b. When the front end of the lighting unit 5 fits into the protruding portion 316b, the light source 51 is automatically positioned at the top of the irradiation port 312. The auxiliary protrusion 315 auxiliary guides the lighting unit 5 so that it does not move to the side opposite to the side where the claw portion 314 is provided. Since the distance between the auxiliary protrusion 315 and the standing wall 316a is greater than the distance between the claw portion 314 and the standing wall 316a of the waterproof rib portion 316, if there is a manufacturing error in the positioning of the lighting section 5 or the claw portion 314 within the waterproof rib portion 316, etc., the extra space provided for installation improves workability and makes installation easier.
[0033] FIG. 5 is a schematic cross-sectional view of the lighting unit 5 attached to the front base 31 and emitting light. FIG. 6 is a schematic cross-sectional view of the light source 51 in FIG. 5, which is enlarged. As shown in FIG. 5 and FIG. 6, the rear end of the lighting unit 5 is raised by the base 313, so that the central light X, which is the center of the light emitted by the lighting unit 5, faces the rear of the toilet bowl 11. The central light X is light that travels in the direction with the strongest intensity among the light emitted from the light-emitting diode as the light source 51. The central light X is approximately perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the approximately rectangular parallelepiped shape of the lighting unit 5. The irradiation range E illuminated by the light emitted by the lighting unit 5 is closer to the rear of the toilet body 10. The lighting unit 5 is arranged so that it irradiates light while avoiding the water storage portion 12 of the toilet bowl 11. In other words, the lighting unit 5 is arranged so that the central light X faces other than the water storage portion 12. By being arranged in this manner, the high-intensity light near the central light X hits the wall surface on the rear side of the toilet bowl 11. 5, light that strikes the rear wall of toilet bowl 11 is reflected and illuminates the front side. High-intensity light near central light X does not illuminate water pool 12 directly.
[0034] According to this embodiment, the following effects are achieved. The toilet device 1 is configured to include a toilet body 10 having a toilet bowl 11 with an open top, and an illumination unit 5 that illuminates the inside of the toilet bowl 11. The illumination unit 5 is configured to include a light source 51 and a connection unit 52 to which wiring 52a that is connected to the rear of the light source 51 and supplies power to the light source 51 is connected, and the connection unit 52 is positioned higher than the light source 51. Because the connection unit 52 is positioned higher than the light source 51, water is less likely to splash on the connection unit 52 that is connected to the rear of the light source 51. For this reason, malfunctions are less likely to occur in the connection unit 52, and the inside of the toilet bowl can be stably illuminated.
[0035] According to this embodiment, the lighting unit 5 is inclined downward from the rear side to the front side. By arranging the lighting unit 5 at an angle, the connection part 52 can be easily arranged at a higher position than the light source 51. Therefore, water is less likely to splash on the connection part 52. Therefore, the connection part 52 is less likely to malfunction, and the inside of the toilet bowl can be stably illuminated. Furthermore, by inclining the lighting unit 5 downward, the central light X of the light illuminated by the lighting unit 5 faces backward, and the light is not directly irradiated onto the water storage part 12 in which flush water is stored in the toilet bowl 11. This makes it possible to prevent people who use the toilet at night from feeling dazzled by the light reflected from the water storage part 12 and waking up.
[0036] According to this embodiment, the buttocks washing mechanism 4 is further included, which discharges washing water into the toilet bowl 11 and washes the buttocks of the user. The buttocks washing mechanism 4 is configured to include a nozzle part 41 that supplies washing water into the toilet bowl 11, and the nozzle part 41 is attached with a downward inclination from the rear side to the front side. The connection part 52 is disposed below the nozzle part 41. Since the connection part 52 is disposed below the nozzle part 41, the lighting part 5 can be attached by efficiently using the space in the front base part 31. Since the nozzle part 41 itself is inclined downward, it is difficult to arrange the lighting part 5 upright, but by arranging the connection part 52 at a position higher than the light source 51, the space can be efficiently used and the connection part 52 can be protected.
[0037] According to this embodiment, the lighting unit 5 is positioned so that the central light X faces the rear of the toilet bowl 11. This prevents the light from being directly irradiated onto the water pool 12 of the toilet bowl, and prevents people who use the toilet at night from being dazzled by the light reflected from the water pool 12 and being awakened.
[0038] According to this embodiment, toilet bowl 11 is configured to include a water storage section 12 that stores flush water at the bottom, and lighting section 5 is positioned so that central light X faces a portion other than water storage section 12. This prevents light from being directly irradiated onto water storage section 12 of the toilet bowl, providing the same effect as above.
[0039] According to this embodiment, the configuration further includes a base portion 3 to which the illumination unit 5 is attached. The base portion 3 includes a pedestal portion 313 that supports the rear portion of the illumination unit 5. This makes it easier to reliably position the connection portion 52 at a position higher than the light source 51, and makes it difficult for water to get on the connection portion 52. This provides the same effect as above.
[0040] According to this embodiment, the base part 3 includes a frame-shaped waterproof rib part 316 surrounding the periphery of the connection part 52, and a claw part 314 that is disposed inside the waterproof rib part 316 and engages with the lighting part 5. The claw part 314 is disposed closer to one side in the width direction of the waterproof rib part 316. Since the periphery of the connection part 52 is surrounded by the frame-shaped waterproof rib part 316, it is possible to prevent water from splashing on the connection part 52 even if water infiltrates into the front base part 31. Furthermore, since the lighting part is engaged along the claw part 314 and there is a space on the other side of the claw part 314, the installation of the lighting part 5 is facilitated and the work efficiency is improved.
[0041] According to this embodiment, the toilet device 1 is configured to include a toilet body 10 having a toilet bowl 11 with an open top, and an illumination unit 5 that illuminates the inside of the toilet bowl 11. The toilet bowl 11 is configured to include a water storage unit 12 that stores flushing water at its lower part, and the illumination unit 5 is positioned so that central light X faces a part other than the water storage unit 12. Since light is not directly irradiated onto the water storage unit 12 in which flushing water is stored within the toilet bowl 11, it is possible to prevent people who use the toilet at night from feeling dazzled by light reflected from the water storage unit 12 and being awakened.
[0042] According to this embodiment, the external shape of the illumination unit 5 is formed into a substantially rectangular parallelepiped shape, and the central light X of the illumination unit 5 is irradiated so as to be substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the substantially rectangular parallelepiped shape. As a result, the central light X is irradiated so as to face the rear of the toilet bowl 11, and is disposed so as to face a portion other than the water collecting portion 12, thereby achieving the same effect as above.
[0043] The present disclosure is not limited to the above-described embodiment, and modifications, improvements, and the like are included in the present disclosure. For example, the illumination unit does not have to be attached to the base unit. The shape of the illumination unit is not particularly limited. [Explanation of symbols]
