Abstract
Description
[Technical field]
[0001] The present invention relates to a composite structural member having a steel structural member with a circular through hole and a wood material that stiffens at least the periphery of the circular through hole in the steel structural member. [Background technology]
[0002] Traditionally, concrete and steel structural members have been widely used in mid-rise and high-rise buildings in Japan due to their strength and cost, but in recent years, wood materials have been used in consideration of the environment, design, and workability. Hybrid structures that combine steel structural members and wood materials have also been proposed to take advantage of the aforementioned advantages of each material.
[0003] Steel structural members such as H-shaped steel beams are often used as beams in buildings, but these beams can sometimes be deformed by external forces such as earthquakes. Figure 10 shows the deformation of a beam that occurs during an earthquake. Figure 10 shows the state in which an external force is applied to a steel structural member 3 (H-shaped steel) used as a beam and it is deformed. As shown in Figures 10(a) and 10(b), when an external force 19 is applied to the steel structural member 3 due to an earthquake or the like, local buckling 39 occurs near the joint with the column 13. When local buckling 39 occurs in a beam, the strength and deformation capacity of the beam decrease, posing a danger.
[0004] In particular, in recent years, there has been a tendency to increase the thickness of the flanges 11 and reduce the thickness of the webs 9 in order to improve the efficiency of rigidity and strength in the strong axis direction of the beam, and there is an increasing demand for construction methods that suppress buckling of the webs 9. In response to this, Patent Document 1 proposes a technique in which wooden members are attached to both sides of a steel web and the wooden members are connected to each other with connecting members to stiffen the steel web.
[0005] Furthermore, in recent buildings, multiple through holes are sometimes provided in the webs of beams to increase the flexibility of piping. Figure 11 shows an example of a steel structural member 3 with a circular through hole in the web. As shown in Figures 11(a) and 11(b), when a circular through hole 15 is provided in the web 9, local buckling 39 is likely to occur near the circular through hole 15 when the steel structural member 3 is deformed by an external force. In response to this, Patent Documents 2 and 3 propose metal fittings that reinforce through holes provided in the webs of beams. [Prior art documents] [Patent documents]
[0006] [Patent Document 1] JP 2020-84406 A [Patent Document 2] Patent No. 7061401 [Patent Document 3] Patent No. 3837450 Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]
[0007] FIG. 12 shows an example in which the steel structural member 3 in FIG. 10 is stiffened by the method disclosed in Patent Document 1. 12(a) and 12(b) show an example in which wooden pieces 5 are placed on both sides of a portion of a web 9 where local buckling 39 is likely to occur, and the wooden pieces 5 are connected to each other by connecting members 41 inserted through the web 9 and the wooden pieces 5. In this way, the wooden pieces 5 suppress the out-of-plane deformation of the web 9 as shown by the dashed line in Fig. 12(b), thereby increasing the strength and deformation capacity of the steel structural member 3.
[0008] Since the wooden material 5 is lightweight and has excellent design and workability, it is useful as a member for stiffening the web 9 of a beam. However, in order to fix the wooden material 5 to the web 9, it is necessary to drill multiple holes 43 in the web 9 for inserting the connecting material 41 therethrough.
[0009] In particular, when fitting wooden material 5 into the circular through hole 15 of the web 9, as shown in Figures 13(a) and 13(b), multiple holes 43 for inserting connecting materials 41 must be drilled around the circular through hole 15, which poses a problem of reducing the strength, deformation capacity, and workability of the steel structural member 3.
[0010] The present invention has been made to solve the above-mentioned problems, and has an object to provide a composite structural member in which, in a steel structural member having a circular through hole, buckling that occurs near the circular through hole can be suppressed by using wood material without drilling holes in the steel structural member. [Means for solving the problem]
[0011] (1) A composite structural member according to the present invention comprises a steel structural member having a steel plate portion with a circular through hole, a pair of wood members having an opening portion with a diameter equal to or smaller than that of the circular through hole and arranged to sandwich the steel plate portion at least around the circular through hole in the steel structural member, and a pipe member inserted into the circular through hole and the opening portion, The pair of wooden pieces are connected by the pipe member, and the steel plate portion is sandwiched between the pair of wooden pieces.
[0012] (2) Furthermore, in the above-mentioned (1), the circular through hole and the opening have the same diameter and have female threaded portions on their inner surfaces, and the outer surface of the pipe member has a male threaded portion that screws into the female threaded portion, and by screwing the male threaded portion and the female threaded portion together, the pair of wooden pieces are connected by the pipe member and the steel plate portion is clamped by the pair of wooden pieces.
[0013] (3) Furthermore, in the above-mentioned (1), the circular through hole has a larger diameter than the opening and has a female threaded portion on the inner peripheral surface of the opening, and the outer peripheral surface of the pipe member has a male threaded portion that screws into the female threaded portion, and by screwing the male threaded portion and the female threaded portion together, the pair of wooden pieces are connected by the pipe member and the steel plate portion is clamped by the pair of wooden pieces.
[0014] (4) In the above-mentioned (1), the pipe member comprises a first pipe member having an outward flange portion at one end whose outer diameter is larger than the opening and a male thread portion at the other end, and a second pipe member having an outward flange portion at one end whose outer diameter is larger than the opening and a female thread portion that screws into the male thread portion at the other end, The first pipe member and the second pipe member are inserted into the circular through hole and the opening and the male threaded portion and the female threaded portion are screwed together, thereby connecting the pair of wooden pieces with the pipe members and clamping the steel plate portion between the pair of wooden pieces.
[0015] (5) Furthermore, in the product described in (4) above, the outward flange portion is fixed to the wooden material, whereby the pair of wooden materials are connected by the pipe member and the steel plate portion is clamped by the pair of wooden materials.
[0016] (6) Furthermore, in the above (1), the circular through hole has a larger diameter than the opening, the pipe member has outward flange portions at both ends whose outer diameter is larger than the opening and smaller than the circular through hole, the wooden material is divided into left and right parts by the circular through hole when viewed from the front of the through hole, and the outward flange portions are fixed to the wooden material to connect the pair of wooden materials by the pipe member and clamp the steel plate portion by the pair of wooden materials. Effect of the Invention
[0017] In the present invention, since a pair of wooden members is connected by a pipe member inserted into a circular through hole of a steel structural member, there is no need to drill a new hole in the steel structural member, and therefore the vicinity of the circular through hole can be stiffened by the wooden member without reducing the strength, deformation capacity, and workability of the steel structural member. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
[0019] [Embodiment 1] A composite structural member 1 according to a first embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIG. As shown in FIG. 1, a composite structural member 1 of this embodiment includes a steel structural member 3, a pair of wooden members 5, and a pipe member .
[0020] The steel structural member 3 is an H-shaped steel having a web 9 (steel plate portion of the present invention) and a flange 11, and is used as a beam of a building, for example, with its end joined to a column 13 as shown in FIG. 1(a). The web 9 is formed with a circular through hole 15 for passing a pipe or the like therethrough, and the circular through hole 15 has an internal thread portion 15a formed on its inner peripheral surface. A pair of wood pieces 5, each having an opening 17 with the same diameter as the circular through hole 15, are disposed around the circular through hole 15 so as to sandwich the web 9. The inner peripheral surface of the opening 17 has a female thread 17a formed thereon, similar to the circular through hole 15.
[0021] Furthermore, a gap S is provided between the flange 11 of the steel structural member 3 and the wooden material 5 (see FIG. 1(b)). The reason for providing the gap S is as follows. When the steel structural member 3 is deformed by external forces due to an earthquake, the flange 11 of the steel structural member 3 comes into contact with the wooden material 5, causing in-plane bending of the wooden material 5 and resulting in damage to the wooden material 5. In this regard, by providing a gap S between the flange 11 and the wooden material 5, the flange 11 is less likely to come into contact with the wooden material 5 when the steel structural member 3 is deformed, so that the in-plane bending of the wooden material 5 can be reduced and premature damage to the wooden material 5 can be prevented. Furthermore, if there was no gap S, there was a risk that it would not be possible to install the wood material 5 between the upper and lower flanges 11 if an error occurred in the position at which the circular through hole 15 was formed or the position at which the opening 17 was formed; however, by setting the gap S, such construction errors can be absorbed.
[0022] The pipe member 7 is a member that is inserted through the circular through-hole 15 of the steel structural member 3 and the opening 17 of the wooden material 5 to connect a pair of wooden materials 5 arranged on both sides of the web 9 . In this embodiment, a male threaded portion 7a is formed on the outer circumferential surface of the pipe member 7, which screws into the female threaded portions 15a, 17a of the circular through hole 15 and the opening 17. The pipe member 7 connects the pair of wood materials 5 by inserting the pipe member 7 through the circular through hole 15 and the opening 17 with the male threaded portion 7a screwed into the female threaded portions 15a, 17a.
[0023] FIG. 2 shows the composite structural member 1 constructed as described above in a deformed state due to the application of an external force caused by an earthquake. When an external force 19 due to an earthquake is applied to the composite structural member 1, the steel structural member 3 is deformed as shown in Fig. 2(a). If the wooden member 5 were not provided, out-of-plane deformation would occur around the circular through-hole 15 in the web 9 as shown by the dashed line in Fig. 2(b). In contrast, in this embodiment, the portion in question is sandwiched between a pair of wooden members 5, so that out-of-plane deformation is suppressed as indicated by the arrows in FIG. 2(b), and buckling of web 9 can be prevented.
[0024] As described above, in this embodiment, a pair of wooden pieces 5 arranged to sandwich a web 9 are connected by screwing together the female thread 17a formed in the opening 17 of the wooden piece 5 and the male thread 7a formed on the outer circumferential surface of the tube member 7. In the example of Fig. 1, the circular through hole 15 of the web 9 is also provided with a female thread 15a to screw together with the tube member 7, but it is not essential that the tube member 7 be screwed together as long as it is inserted into the circular through hole 15. As another aspect of this embodiment, an example in which the circular through hole 15 is not provided with a female thread 15a is shown in Fig. 3.
[0025] A composite structural member 21 shown in Fig. 3 has a configuration similar to that of the composite structural member 1 in Fig. 1, but the circular through hole 15 in the web 9 has a larger diameter than the opening 17 in the wooden material 5, and no female thread portion 15a is formed on the inner circumferential surface of the circular through hole 15. A male thread portion 7a and a female thread portion 17a are formed on the outer circumferential surface of the pipe member 7 and the inner circumferential surface of the opening 17 in the wooden material 5, as in Fig. 1.
[0026] With the pipe member 7 inserted into the circular through hole 15, the male threaded portions 7a are screwed into the female threaded portions of the openings 17 of the pair of wooden pieces 5, and as in Figure 1, the pair of wooden pieces 5 are connected by screwing together the male threaded portions 7a of the pipe member 7 and the female threaded portions 17a of the wooden pieces 5.
[0027] In this case too, the peripheral portion of the circular through hole 15 in the web 9 is clamped by a pair of wooden pieces 5, and as shown in Figures 4(a) and 4(b), when the steel structural member 3 is deformed by an external force 19, the pair of wooden pieces 5 suppress the out-of-plane deformation of the web 9, thereby preventing buckling of the web 9.
[0028] [Embodiment 2] A composite structural member 23 according to a second embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to Fig. 5. In Fig. 5, parts common to the composite structural members 1 and 21 of the first embodiment are given the same reference numerals. The steel structural member 3 and the pair of wooden members 5 in the composite structural member 23 of this embodiment are mainly similar to those in FIG. 1, however, the female thread portions 15a, 17a are not formed on the inner surface of the circular through hole 15 and the inner surface of the opening 17. In this embodiment, there are differences from the first embodiment in the configuration of the pipe member 25 and the method of connecting the pair of wooden pieces 5 by the pipe member 25, and these differences will be described below.
[0029] The tubular member 25 of this embodiment is composed of two tubular members, a first tubular member 27 and a second tubular member 29, as shown in FIG. The first pipe member 27 has an outward flange portion 27a at one end, the outer diameter of which is larger than the opening 17 of the wood material 5, and a male thread portion 27b is formed at the other end. The second pipe member 29 has an outward flange portion 29a at one end whose outer diameter is larger than the opening 17 of the wood material 5, and a female threaded portion 29b at the other end which screws into the male threaded portion 27b of the first pipe member 27.
[0030] 5(b), in the composite structural member 23 of this embodiment, the first pipe member 27 and the second pipe member 29 are inserted into the circular through hole 15 of the steel structural member 3 and the opening 17 of the wooden material 5, and the male threaded portion 27b and the female threaded portion 29b are screwed together. The fastening force of the first pipe member 27 and the second pipe member 29 clamps the pair of wooden materials 5 between the outward flange portions 27a, 29a, thereby connecting the pair of wooden materials 5.
[0031] In this example, too, the peripheral portion of the circular through hole 15 in the web 9 is clamped by a pair of wooden pieces 5, and as shown in Figures 7(a) and 7(b), when the steel structural member 3 is deformed by an external force 19, the pair of wooden pieces 5 suppress the out-of-plane deformation of the web 9, thereby preventing buckling of the web 9.
[0032] Furthermore, the outward flange portion 27a of the first pipe member 27 and the outward flange portion 29a of the second pipe member 29 may each be fixed to the wooden material 5. The fixing method is not particularly limited, but for example, screw holes may be provided in the outward flange portions 27a, 29a, and the outward flange portions 27a, 29a may be fixed to the wooden material 5 with screws.
[0033] [Embodiment 3] A composite structural member 31 according to a third embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to Fig. 8. In Fig. 8, parts common to the composite structural members 1, 21, and 23 of the first and second embodiments are given the same reference numerals. The steel structural member 3 in the composite structural member 31 of this embodiment is mainly similar to that in FIG. 3, and the web 9 is formed with a circular through hole 15 having a larger diameter than the opening 17 in the wood material 5 .
[0034] The pipe member 33 of the present embodiment has a shape similar to that of the pipe member 25 of the second embodiment integrated into one piece, and has outward flange portions 33a at both ends whose outer diameter is larger than the opening 17 of the wood material 5. In this example, when the pipe member 33 is inserted into the circular through hole 15 of the web 9, it is necessary to pass the outward flange portions 33a of the pipe member 33 through the circular through hole 15, so the outer diameter of the outward flange portions 33a is made smaller than the circular through hole 15.
[0035] For ease of assembly, the wooden material 5 in this embodiment is divided into left and right halves (split pieces 35) across the circular through-hole 15 when viewed from the front of the through-hole. Outward flange portions 33a of the pipe member 33 are fixed to the split pieces 35 into which the wooden material 5 is divided with screws 37. In this way, the pair of wooden materials 5 are connected by the pipe member 33, and the web 9 is sandwiched between the pair of connected wooden materials 5.
[0036] In this example, as shown in Figures 9(a) and 9(b), when the steel structural member 3 is deformed by an external force 19, the pair of wooden members 5 suppress the out-of-plane deformation of the web 9, thereby preventing buckling of the web 9.
[0037] As in the above-mentioned first to third embodiments, a pair of wooden materials 5 arranged around the circular through-hole 15 so as to sandwich the web 9 therebetween are connected by the pipe member 7 (or the pipe member 25, or the pipe member 33) inserted into the circular through-hole 15, thereby making it possible to prevent buckling of the web 9 when the steel structural member 3 is deformed by an external force 19 such as an earthquake. Furthermore, since there is no need to drill new holes in the steel structural member 3 when connecting the pair of wooden materials 5, the strength, deformation capacity and workability of the steel structural member 3 are not reduced.
[0038] In the examples of Figures 1 to 9, the wooden material 5 is arranged only near the circular through hole 15, but the length of the wooden material 5 may be extended to stiffen areas other than the area near the circular through hole 15. In the above, an H-shaped steel beam is used as an example of the steel structural member 3, however, the steel structural member of the present invention may be any member having a steel plate portion with a circular through hole, and may also be applied to members of other shapes, such as a channel steel beam.
[0039] When two or more circular through holes 15 are provided in the web 9, a conceivable embodiment is one in which the multiple circular through holes 15 are reinforced with a pair of wooden materials 5 having a length spanning the circular through holes 15 and having openings 17 in a number corresponding to the number of the circular through holes 15. When multiple circular through holes 15 are reinforced with a pair of wooden materials 5, multiple pipe members 7 penetrate the pair of wooden materials 5, so that the bending moment acting on the wooden materials 5 when an external force is applied increases. If there is a risk that the wooden materials 5 will be destroyed by this bending moment, it is advisable to take measures such as cutting the wooden materials 5 at appropriate intervals in the material axis direction.
