[0004] [Patent Document 1] JP 2008-28649 A Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]
[0005] Incidentally, in the electronic device described in Patent Document 1, although the close contact rib is pressed against the V-groove of the cabinet to prevent noise from inside the cabinet from entering the microphone element, it is not possible to suppress vibration transmitted from the cabinet to the microphone element when an object such as a user's finger comes into contact with the cabinet. Therefore, in the above-mentioned case, it is not possible to sufficiently reduce the solid-borne sound transmitted from the cabinet to the microphone element, resulting in a problem of deterioration in the quality of the sound collected by the microphone element.
[0006] Therefore, one aspect of the present invention aims to improve the sound quality of the sound picked up by the microphone element even when an object comes into contact with the cabinet, while sufficiently preventing noise from entering the microphone element from inside the cabinet. [Means for solving the problem]
[0007] In order to solve the above-mentioned problems, one aspect of the present invention includes a microphone board provided inside a cabinet and having a microphone element mounted thereon that collects sound; a first gasket provided on the microphone board so as to cover the microphone element, configured to be non-contact with the cabinet, and having a first acoustic path formed therein that connects to the microphone element; a second gasket provided inside the cabinet facing the first gasket, having a second acoustic path formed therein that connects a sound hole formed in the cabinet and the first acoustic path, and having an annular sealing rib formed on the periphery of an opening of the second acoustic path on the sound hole side that is pressed against the periphery of the sound hole on the inner surface of the cabinet; and an endless member provided between the opposing surfaces of the first gasket and the second gasket so as to surround the openings of the first acoustic path and the second acoustic path. A pair of first retaining ribs are formed on the inner wall surface of the cabinet to retain the portion of the second gasket on the sound hole side from both sides in a second direction perpendicular to a first direction parallel to the hole line of the sound hole, and a pair of second retaining ribs are formed on both sides in the second direction to retain the portion of the second gasket opposite the sound hole side. Effect of the Invention
[0008] According to one aspect of the present invention, it is possible to sufficiently prevent noise from entering the microphone element from inside the cabinet, while improving the sound quality of the sound picked up by the microphone element even when an object comes into contact with the cabinet. Each housing part 12a of the cabinet 12 has a housing main body part 12ab with an opening, and a housing cover part 12ac provided so as to cover the opening of the housing main body part 12ab. The connecting part 12b of the cabinet 12 is flexible and is made of, for example, an elastomer material.
[0014] (Speaker 14, sound emitting section 16, microphone element 18) 1, a speaker 14 for outputting sound is provided inside the base end side of each housing part 12a of the cabinet 12. A sound emitting part 16 for emitting sound output from the speaker 14 is provided inside the base end side of each housing part 12a of the cabinet 12, and each sound emitting part 16 has a plurality of sound emitting holes. A microphone element 18 for collecting sound is provided inside the tip end side of one housing part 12a of the cabinet 12.
[0015] (Communication section, control section) 1, a communication unit (not shown) for wirelessly communicating with external devices such as a television receiver, an audio player, and a smartphone is provided inside the cabinet 12. The communication unit is composed of an antenna, a communication module, and the like. The communication unit uses a frequency band of, for example, 422 MHz or 440 MHz as its communication method. When wireless communication with an external device is performed via a repeater (not shown), the communication unit uses a frequency band of, for example, 440 MHz such as Bluetooth (registered trademark) as its communication method.
[0016] A control unit (not shown) that comprehensively controls the speaker 14, the microphone element 18, and the communication unit is provided inside the cabinet 12, and the control unit is configured by a microcomputer. The control unit amplifies an electric signal obtained from the communication unit and outputs it to the speaker 14. The control unit converts the sound obtained from the microphone element 18 into an electric signal and outputs it to the communication unit.
[0017] (Outline of microphone mounting structure 20) 3, the wearable speaker device 10 includes a microphone mounting structure 20 for mounting a microphone element 18 inside the tip side of one housing part 12a of the cabinet 12. The specific details of the microphone mounting structure 20 are as follows.
[0018] (sound hole 12h, microphone board 22, microphone element 18, microphone hole 18h) As shown in Fig. 1, Fig. 3, and Fig. 4, a sound hole 12h for introducing sound is formed penetrating the tip side of one of the housing parts 12a of the cabinet 12, and the cross section of the sound hole 12h is formed in a circular shape. A microphone board 22 for controlling the microphone element 18 is provided inside the tip side of one of the housing parts 12a of the cabinet 12 via a board holder (not shown), and the microphone board 22 is disposed near the sound hole 12h of the cabinet 12. The microphone board 22 is configured not to contact the inner wall surface 12f of the cabinet 12. A rectangular microphone element 18 is mounted on the microphone board 22, and a circular microphone hole (sound collection hole) 18h for collecting sound is formed in the microphone element 18.
[0019] (First gasket 24, first acoustic path 24c) 3 and 4, a first gasket 24 is provided on the microphone substrate 22 so as to cover the microphone element 18, and the first gasket 24 is fixed to the microphone substrate 22 with a double-sided tape 26. The first gasket 24 is elastically deformable and is made of, for example, rubber, rubber containing glass fiber, or fluororesin. The first gasket 24 is configured not to contact the inner wall surface 12f of the cabinet 12. The first gasket 24 has a rectangular accommodation recess 24d for accommodating the microphone element 18.
[0020] A first acoustic path 24c having an elongated hole shape that communicates with the microphone hole 18h of the microphone element 18 is formed penetrating the first gasket 24, and the first acoustic path 24c communicates with the accommodating recess 24d. Since the first acoustic path 24c of the first gasket 24 is formed in an elongated hole shape, when the accommodating recess 24d of the first gasket 24 is accommodated in the microphone element 18, the first acoustic path 24c of the first gasket 24 is configured to be aligned with the microphone hole 18h of the microphone element 18.
[0021] (Second gasket 28, second acoustic path 28c, sealing rib 30) As shown in Fig. 3 to Fig. 6, a second gasket 28 is provided inside the tip side of one housing part 12a of the cabinet 12, facing the first gasket 24. The second gasket 28 is placed in a state where it is compressed from both sides in a first direction D1 parallel to the hole line of the sound hole 12h by the inner wall surface 12f of the cabinet 12. The second gasket 28 is elastically deformable and is made of, for example, rubber, rubber containing glass fiber, or fluororesin. Here, the hole line of the sound hole 12h refers to an axis that passes through the center of the sound hole 12h, and may or may not pass through the center of the sound hole 12h (axis center).
[0022] The second gasket 28 is formed with a second acoustic path 28c penetrating therethrough, which connects the sound hole 12h of the cabinet 12 and the first acoustic path 24c of the first gasket 24. One end of the second acoustic path 28c of the second gasket 28 is connected to the sound hole 12h of the cabinet 12, and the other end of the second acoustic path 28c of the second gasket 28 is connected to the first acoustic path 24c of the first gasket 24. The side cross-sectional shape of the second acoustic path 28c of the second gasket 28 is formed in an L-shape. The opening on the one end side of the second acoustic path 28c of the second gasket 28 is formed in a circular shape, and the opening on the other end side of the second acoustic path 28c of the second gasket 28 is formed in a rectangular shape. The opening on the other end side of the second acoustic path 28c of the second gasket 28 may be formed in a circular shape.
[0023] A circular sealing rib 30 is formed on the periphery of the opening of the second acoustic path 28c on the sound hole 12h side of the second gasket 28, and is pressed against the periphery of the sound hole 12h on the inner wall surface 12f of the cabinet 12. A part of the sealing rib 30 is crushed by the pressing. In Figs. 3 and 4, the state of the part of the sealing rib 30 before it is crushed is shown by a two-dot chain line. The sealing rib 30 may be pressed against the periphery of the sound hole 12h on the inner wall surface 12f of the cabinet 12 via a waterproof sheet (not shown). The waterproof sheet is provided on the inner wall surface 12f of the cabinet 12 so as to cover the sound hole 12h, and allows sound to pass through.
[0024] On the opposing surface 28f of the second gasket 28, a rectangular frame-shaped endless rib 34 is formed so as to surround the opening of the other end side of the second acoustic path 28c. The endless rib 34 surrounds the opening of the first acoustic path 24c on the opposing surface 24f of the first gasket 24. In other words, between the opposing surface 24f of the first gasket 24 and the opposing surface 28f of the second gasket 28, the endless rib 34 as an endless member is provided so as to surround the openings of the first acoustic path 24c and the second acoustic path 28c. The endless rib 34 is pressed against the periphery of the opening of the first acoustic path 24c on the opposing surface 24f of the first gasket 24, and a part of the endless rib 34 is crushed by the pressing. In Figs. 3 and 4, the state of the endless rib 34 before being crushed is shown by a two-dot chain line.
[0025] The opposing surface 28f of the second gasket 28 refers to the surface of the second gasket 28 that faces the first gasket 24. The opposing surface 24f of the first gasket 24 refers to the surface of the first gasket 24 that faces the second gasket 28. Instead of forming the endless rib 34 in a rectangular frame shape, it may be formed in a polygonal frame shape other than a ring or rectangular frame shape. The endless rib 34 may be formed with unevenness. When the sealing rib 30 is referred to as the first sealing rib, the endless rib 34 may be referred to as the second sealing rib.
[0026] (First retaining rib 36, fitting step portion 28s, second retaining rib 38) As shown in FIG. 7, a pair of first retaining ribs 36 are formed near the sound hole 12h on the inner wall surface of the cabinet to retain the portion of the second gasket 28 on the sound hole 12h side from both sides in the second direction D2 perpendicular to the first direction D1. The pair of first retaining ribs 36 regulate the position of the portion of the second gasket 28 on the sound hole 12h side from both sides in the second direction D2. Each of the first retaining ribs 36 can only contact the portion of the second gasket 28 on the sound hole 12h side. In addition, a fitting step 28s for fitting with each of the first retaining ribs 36 is formed in the portion of the second gasket 28 on the sound hole 12h side.
[0027] A pair of second retaining ribs 38 are formed on the inner wall surface of the cabinet at a position spaced apart from the first retaining rib 36 in the first direction D1 to retain a portion of the second gasket 28 on the opposite side of the sound hole 12h from both sides in the second direction D2. The pair of second retaining ribs 38 regulate the position of the portion of the second gasket 28 on the opposite side of the sound hole 12h from both sides in the second direction D2. Each second retaining rib 38 can only come into contact with the portion of the second gasket 28 on the opposite side of the sound hole 12h.
[0028] (Restriction rib 40, rising portion 42) As shown in Figs. 3, 7, and 8, a restricting rib 40 is formed at a position on the inner wall surface 12f of the cabinet 12 away from the first holding rib 36 in the first direction D1, restricting the position of a portion of the second gasket 28 on the opposite side of the sound hole 12h side from one side (upward in Figs. 3 and 8) of the third direction D3 perpendicular to the first direction D1 and the second direction D2. The portion of the second gasket 28 on the opposite side of the sound hole 12h side has a rising portion 42 (see Figs. 5 and 6), and the rising portion 42 can be engaged with the restricting rib 40 from the other side of the third direction (downward in Figs. 3 and 8). The restricting rib 40 can contact only the rising portion 42 of the second gasket 28. When the first holding rib 36 is referred to as the first restricting rib and the second holding rib 38 is referred to as the second restricting rib, the restricting rib 40 may be referred to as the third restricting rib. The restricting rib 40 has a function of reinforcing the periphery of a USB port 44 formed in the cabinet 12 .
[0029] (Action and effect) According to the configuration of the wearable speaker device 10 of this embodiment, as described above, the first gasket 24 covering the microphone element 18 is configured not to contact the cabinet 12. In addition, the opposing surface of the first gasket 24 and the opposing surface of the second gasket 28 are locally in contact with each other via the endless rib 34 as an endless member. Therefore, even if the user's hair, as an example of an object, comes into contact with the cabinet 12, it is possible to reduce vibration transmitted from the cabinet 12 to the microphone element 18 via the second gasket 28 and the first gasket 24. As a result, even in the above-mentioned case, it is possible to sufficiently reduce the solid-borne sound transmitted from the cabinet 12 to the microphone element 18 and improve the sound quality of the sound collected by the microphone element 18.
[0030] According to the configuration of the wearable speaker device 10 of this embodiment, as described above, a pair of first retaining ribs 36 that retain the portion of the second gasket 28 on the sound hole 12h side from both sides in the second direction D2 are formed on the inner wall surface 12f of the cabinet 12. A pair of second retaining ribs 38 that retain the portion of the second gasket 28 on the opposite side of the sound hole 12h side from both sides in the second direction D2 are formed at a position spaced apart from the first retaining rib 36 on the inner wall surface 12f of the cabinet 12 in the first direction D1. Therefore, even if the second gasket 38 is slightly inclined with respect to the hole line of the sound hole 12h, the pressure contact state of the sealing rib 30 can be kept substantially uniform along the circumferential direction of the sealing rib 30, and the sealing property of the sealing rib 30 can be improved. This sufficiently prevents noise from entering the microphone element 18 from inside the cabinet 12, and improves the sound quality of the sound collected by the microphone element 18.
[0031] Therefore, according to the wearable speaker device 10 of this embodiment, it is possible to sufficiently prevent noise from inside the cabinet 12 from entering the microphone element 18, while improving the sound quality picked up by the microphone element 18 even when the user's hair, as an example of an object, comes into contact with the cabinet.
[0032] When the fitting step 28s for fitting with each of the first retaining ribs 36 is formed in the portion of the second gasket 28 on the sound hole 12h side, the portion of the second gasket 28 on the sound hole 12h side is prevented from tilting with respect to the hole line of the sound hole 12h, and the sealing ability of the sealing rib 30 can be further improved. This makes it possible to more sufficiently prevent noise from the inside of the cabinet 12 from entering the microphone element 18, and to further improve the sound quality of the sound collected by the microphone element 18.
[0033] When the restricting rib 40 is formed at a position spaced apart from the first retaining rib in the first direction D1 on the inner wall surface 12f of the cabinet 12, the portion of the second gasket 28 on the sound hole 12h side is prevented from tilting relative to the hole line of the sound hole 12h, thereby improving the sealing performance of the sealing rib 30. This makes it possible to more sufficiently prevent noise from entering the microphone element 18 from inside the cabinet 12, thereby improving the sound quality of the sound collected by the microphone element 18.
[0034] Each first retaining rib 36 can contact only the portion of the second gasket 28 on the sound hole 12h side, each second retaining rib 38 can contact only the portion of the second gasket 28 on the opposite side of the sound hole 12h side, and the restricting rib 40 can contact only the rising portion 42 of the second gasket 28. In this case, the contact area between each first retaining rib 36 and the second gasket 28, the contact area between each second retaining rib 38 and the second gasket 28, and the contact area between the restricting rib 40 and the second gasket 28 can be reduced as much as possible, and the vibration transmitted from the cabinet 12 to the microphone element 18 via the second gasket 28 can be further reduced. This sufficiently reduces the solid-borne sound transmitted from the cabinet 12 to the microphone element 18, and further improves the sound quality collected by the microphone element 18.
[0035] When the rising portion 42 can be engaged with the restricting rib 40 from the other side in the third direction D3, the position of the portion of the second gasket 28 opposite to the sound hole 12h side is restricted by engaging the rising portion 42 with the restricting rib 40 from the other side in the third direction D3. This makes it easier to assemble the second gasket 28 to the cabinet 12, and improves the ease of assembly of the wearable speaker device 10.
[0036] (Other embodiments) Instead of forming the rectangular frame-shaped endless rib 34 on the facing surface 28f of the second gasket 28, a rectangular frame-shaped endless rib (not shown) may be formed on the facing surface 24f of the first gasket 24 so as to surround the opening of the first acoustic path 24c. The endless rib may surround the opening on the other end side of the second acoustic path 28c on the facing surface 28f of the second gasket 28. In other words, an endless rib as an endless member may be provided between the facing surface 24f of the first gasket 24 and the facing surface 28f of the second gasket 28 so as to surround the openings of the first acoustic path 24c and the second acoustic path 28c. In this case, the endless rib is pressed against the periphery of the opening of the second acoustic path 28c on the facing surface 28f of the second gasket 28, and a part of the endless rib is crushed by the pressing.
[0037] In addition, instead of providing an endless member such as the endless rib 34 between the opposing surface 24f of the first gasket 24 and the opposing surface 28f of the second gasket 28, another endless member such as an endless spacer or an O-ring may be provided.
[0038] Furthermore, the second gasket 28 may be divided into two separate gaskets (not shown). In this case, each separate gasket has an opening of the second acoustic path 28c on its divided surface.
[0039] Also, the first gasket 24 and the second gasket 28 may be integrated into one gasket (not shown). In this case, a portion of the one gasket corresponding to the first gasket 24 is provided on the microphone substrate 22 so as to cover the microphone element 18. An acoustic path (not shown) that connects the sound hole 12h of the cabinet 12 and the microphone hole 18h of the microphone element 18 is formed in the one gasket. A ring-shaped sealing rib (not shown) that is in pressure contact with the periphery of the sound hole 12h on the inner wall surface 12f of the cabinet 12 is formed on the periphery of the opening of the acoustic path on the sound hole 12h side in the portion of the one gasket that corresponds to the second gasket 28.
[0040] Furthermore, the microphone attachment structure applied to the wearable speaker device 10 may be applied to electronic devices other than the wearable speaker device 10, such as television receivers, smartphones, mobile phones, tablet terminals, and cooking appliances.
[0041] 〔summary〕 The electronic device according to a first aspect of the present invention comprises: a microphone board provided inside a cabinet and having a microphone element mounted thereon for collecting sound; a first gasket provided on the microphone board so as to cover the microphone element, configured in non-contact with the cabinet, and having a first acoustic path formed therein connecting to the microphone element; a second gasket provided inside the cabinet opposite the first gasket, having a second acoustic path formed therein connecting a sound hole formed in the cabinet and the first acoustic path, and having an annular sealing rib formed on the peripheral portion of an opening of the second acoustic path on the sound hole side that is in pressure contact with the peripheral portion of the sound hole on the inner surface of the cabinet; and an endless member provided between the opposing surfaces of the first gasket and the second gasket so as to surround the openings of the first acoustic path and the second acoustic path.
[0042] According to the above configuration, as described above, the first gasket covering the microphone element is configured to be in non-contact with the cabinet. Also, the opposing surface of the first gasket and the opposing surface of the second gasket are locally in contact with each other via the endless member. Therefore, even if an object comes into contact with the cabinet, it is possible to reduce vibration transmitted from the cabinet to the microphone element via the second gasket and the first gasket. As a result, even in the above-mentioned case, it is possible to sufficiently reduce solid-borne sound transmitted from the cabinet to the microphone element and improve the sound quality collected by the microphone element.
[0043] As described above, a pair of first retaining ribs are formed on the inner wall surface of the cabinet to retain the portion of the second gasket on the sound hole side from both sides in the second direction, and a pair of second retaining ribs are formed on the inner wall surface of the cabinet to retain the portion of the second gasket on the opposite side of the sound hole side from both sides in the second direction. Therefore, even if the second gasket is slightly inclined with respect to the hole line of the sound hole, the pressure contact state of the sealing rib can be kept approximately uniform along the circumferential direction of the sealing rib, and the sealing ability of the sealing rib can be improved. This sufficiently prevents noise from entering the microphone element from inside the cabinet, and improves the sound quality of the sound collected by the microphone element.
[0044] A second aspect of the present invention relates to an electronic device in accordance with the first aspect, wherein the second gasket may be formed, on a portion of the second gasket facing the sound hole, with fitting steps for fitting with the first retaining ribs.
[0045] According to the above configuration, the portion of the second gasket on the sound hole side is prevented from tilting relative to the hole line of the sound hole, thereby further improving the sealing performance of the sealing rib.
[0046] An electronic device according to aspect 3 of the present invention may be such that, in aspect 1 or 2, each first retaining rib is capable of contacting only a portion of the second gasket on the sound hole side, and each second retaining rib is capable of contacting only a portion of the second gasket on the opposite side to the sound hole side.
[0047] According to the above configuration, the contact area between each of the first retaining ribs and the second gasket and the contact area between each of the second retaining ribs and the second gasket can be reduced as much as possible, so that the vibration transmitted from the cabinet to the microphone element via the second gasket can be further reduced. This sufficiently reduces the solid-borne sound transmitted from the cabinet to the microphone element, and further improves the sound quality of the sound collected by the microphone element.
[0048] An electronic device according to a fourth aspect of the present invention, in any one of the first to third aspects, may have a regulating rib formed on the inner wall surface of the cabinet at a position spaced apart from the first retaining rib in the first direction, for regulating the position of a portion of the second gasket on the opposite side to the sound hole side from one side in a third direction perpendicular to the first and second directions.
[0049] According to the above configuration, the portion of the second gasket on the sound hole side is prevented from tilting relative to the hole line of the sound hole, thereby further improving the sealing performance of the sealing rib.
[0050] An electronic device according to a fifth aspect of the present invention may be such that, in the fourth aspect, the portion of the second gasket opposite the sound hole has a rising portion that is capable of engaging with the regulating rib from the other side in the third direction.
[0051] According to the above configuration, the rising portion is engaged with the restricting rib from the other side in the third direction, thereby restricting the position of the portion of the second gasket opposite to the sound hole side, which makes it easier to assemble the second gasket to the cabinet and improves the ease of assembly of the electronic device.
[0052] An electronic device according to a sixth aspect of the present invention is any one of the first to fifth aspects, wherein the cabinet can be hung around the neck.
[0053] According to the above configuration, even if a user's hair, as an example of an object, comes into contact with the cabinet, the solid-borne sound transmitted from the cabinet to the microphone element can be sufficiently reduced, thereby improving the sound quality picked up by the microphone element.
