Description

[Technical field]

[0001] The present invention relates to a table device to be installed in an automobile or the like, and more particularly to a table device for vehicles having a holder portion for holding items and a table main body portion which is expandable by a table extension portion. [Background technology]

[0002] Fig. 20 shows a vehicle table device disclosed in Patent Document 1. This table device is composed of a table main body (link) 20 arranged on the armrest 103 side of a seat cushion 102 of a seat 100 to which it is attached, and a table extension (table) 10 that is variable from an overlapping state (a) in which it is received by the table main body 20 and overlaps with the table main body to an extended state (b) in which it moves and shifts. The table main body 20 is rotatably connected to a moving body 2 provided on the right side of the seat 100 and capable of sliding in the front-rear direction by a first rotating shaft 21 extending in the height direction. The table extension 10 has a holder portion for holding an item provided on the tip side, and is rotatably connected to the table main body 20 by a second rotating shaft 22.

[0003] In addition, the table main body 20 and the table extension 10 have two opposing sides in the height direction, one of which is an inclined concave surface 23 (not shown) that is inclined in the height direction around the second rotation shaft 22, and the other is a protruding part 11 (not shown) that abuts against the inclined concave surface 23 from above. In this structure, when the table extension 10 rotates in the deployment direction around the second rotation shaft 22 relative to the table main body 20, the protruding part 11 slides on the inclined concave surface 23 to the downward side, thereby reducing the step between the two sides of the table main body and the table extension. When the table extension 10 rotates in the storage direction around the second rotation shaft 22 relative to the table main body 20, the protruding part 11 slides on the inclined concave surface 23 to the upward side, thereby overlapping the table main body and the table extension in the height direction. In other words, the step between the two plates is reduced. [Prior art documents] [Patent documents]

[0004] [Patent Document 1] Patent Publication No. 2021-17097 Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]

[0005] In the structure of Patent Document 1, firstly, the holder part for holding articles is provided in the form of a hole on one side of the table extension part, so the hole is shallow, and containers cannot be stably held in either the overlapping state shown in Fig. 20(a) where the table main body part and the table extension part overlap, or the extended state shown in Fig. 20(b). In addition, since the hole of the holder part is shallow, it is difficult to provide a member for receiving the container placed in the hole of the holder part, and the articles that can be held are limited.

[0006] The object of the present invention has been devised in view of the above background, and is to improve the convenience and ease of use for the user by making it possible to form the holder part into a deep hole, and also to make it possible to expand the table area while stably holding an article in the holder part, or conversely, to switch to an overlapping mode. Other objects will be made clear in the following description. [Means for solving the problem]

[0007] In order to achieve the above-mentioned object, the present invention provides a table device for vehicles, as illustrated in the drawings, which is composed of a table main body portion (1A) that is attached to the mounting counterpart (4) side, and a table extension portion (1B) that is received in the table main body portion and can be changed from an overlapping position where it overlaps with the table main body portion to an extended position where it moves away from the table main body portion, and is characterized in that it has a holder portion (3) that is provided continuously with the overlapping portion of the table main body portion and the table extension portion and that holds items therein.

[0008] In the present invention, the mounting target is the back of the seat back of the seat as in the embodiment, the side of the seat cushion (JP Patent Publication No. 2020-66343), the side of the console box (JP Patent Publication No. 2000-185584), the armrest as in Patent Document 1, or the interior wall of the vehicle. In addition, the table main body may be called the lower table, and the table extension may be called the upper table.

[0009] The present invention described above is more preferably embodied as in claims 2 to 9. (A) The table extension portion (1B) is configured to be rotatable relative to the table main body (1A) (Claim 2). (a) The holder portion (3) also serves as a pivot for rotating the table extension portion (1B) relative to the table main body (1A) (claim 3).

[0010] (c) The table has an angle adjustment section (35, 31e) that holds the table extension section (1B) at a desired angle relative to the table main body section (1A) (claim 4). (d) The holder portion (3) is formed of a material different from that of the table main body portion and the table extension portion (claim 5).

[0011] (E) The table is configured to have an opening / closing mechanism (2) that enables the table to be switched between a substantially horizontal usage state with the pivot support (55) as a fulcrum when the table main body (1A) is attached to the mounting part (4) and a folded storage state (Claim 6). (c) The opening / closing mechanism (2) has a support plate (20) on which the table main body can be placed, the support plate being rotatably supported by an axis member relative to a bracket (5) fixed to the mounting part, and an engagement portion (40) provided on the support plate and engaging with an engaged portion (15) on the table main body to connect with the table main body and disengaging from the support plate to separate the table main body (Claim 7).

[0012] (K) The opening / closing mechanism (2) has a support plate (20) on which the table main body can be placed and rotatably supported by an axis member relative to a bracket (5) that is arranged to be slightly movable relative to the mounting partner, and engaging portions (53, 54) that are provided on the bracket and engage with an engaged portion (49) on the mounting partner to connect with the mounting partner and disengage from the mounting partner to separate from the mounting partner (Claim 8). (k) The table main body (1A) and the table extension part (1B) have leg members (8, 9) of different lengths that can be switched between an inverted state in which they are tilted toward the rear side and an upright state in which they are protruded toward the rear side, and are configured to be supported approximately horizontally by the leg members of different lengths that extend the table extension part and put it in an upright state in a manner separate from the support plate or the mounting part (Claim 9). Effect of the Invention

[0013] In the invention of claim 1, the holder part is provided continuously at the overlapping part of the table main body and the table extension part, so that a large depth dimension can be secured and an article such as a container can be stably held. In addition, with an article such as a container held in the holder part, the table extension part can be changed from an overlapping state to an extended state where it moves away from the table main body, so that the table is easy to use and the convenience of the table user can be improved.

[0014] In the invention of claim 2, when the table extension part is in the extended state, the rotating type is structurally simpler and easier to use than the sliding type.

[0015] In the invention of claim 3, the holder part also serves as the pivot of the table extension part, so that the table extension part can be changed from the overlapping state to the extended state and from the extended state to the overlapping state with an item placed in the holder part, improving the usability of the table. Also, by having the holder part also serve as the pivot, it becomes easy to set the hole dimensions deep and to add a receiving member for receiving the item.

[0016] According to the invention of claim 4, the table extension part can be set at various angles via the angle adjustment part, and can always be held in the most preferred position for stable use, thereby improving convenience.

[0017] In the invention of claim 5, the holder part is formed from a different material from the table main body and the table extension part, i.e., a dedicated material, so simplicity is maintained and it becomes easier to provide the bottom plate and receiving plate of the holder part, as well as the angle adjustment part described above.

[0018] In the invention of claim 6, for example, when the table main body and the table extension are not in use, the table main body can be switched from an in-use state to a stored state via the opening and closing mechanism, thereby making the interior space of the vehicle spacious and improving usability.

[0019] In the invention of claim 7, the opening and closing mechanism has a bracket that is fixed to the mounting object, and the support plate on which the table main body can be placed is rotatably attached to the bracket, so that the engaging portion of the support plate can be disengaged from the engaged portion of the table main body, as in the embodiment, and the table main body can be detached from the support plate together with the table extension. The detached table main body and table extension are separated from the opening and closing mechanism, so that they can be used as a table for camping, etc., and are highly versatile.

[0020] In the invention of claim 8, the opening and closing mechanism has a bracket that is arranged to be slightly movable relative to the mounting object, and when the engaging portion of the bracket is disengaged from the engaged portion on the mounting object as in the modified example and the table main body portion is removed together with the table extension portion from the mounting object, the opening and closing mechanism portion does not remain on the mounting object, resulting in a good appearance and a wider vehicle interior space.

[0021] In the invention of claim 9, the table main body together with the table extension is separated from the support plate or mounting part, and the table extension is extended and supported approximately horizontally by leg members of different lengths in an upright state, so that it can be used as a legged table outside a vehicle, etc., and is highly versatile. [0023] The present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings. In this description, the inventive structure and main operation of the table device will be explained, and then a modified example in which the table device is detachable from the mounting member will be mentioned.

[0024] (Device structure of form) As shown in the drawings, this vehicle table device is a type that includes a table main body 1A that is attached to the seat back 4 of the seat, which is the counterpart of the device, and a table extension part 1B that is received by the table main body 1A and can be changed from an overlapping state where it overlaps with the table main body to an extended state where it moves out of place. The main ingenious features are the configuration of the holder part 3 that holds the container C and electronic devices that are provided continuously with the table main body 1A and the table extension part 1B, the configuration that allows the table main body 1A and the table extension part 1B to be used as a table with legs, and the opening and closing mechanism part 2 that switches the table main body 1A together with the table extension part 1B between a usage state where it is approximately perpendicular to the seat back 4 and a folded storage state. Below, these ingenious features will be explained in order.

[0025] In this specification, the overlapping state refers to a stacked state in which the opposing surfaces of the table main body 1A and the table extension part 1B are almost completely overlapped. The extension state refers to a state in which the table main body 1A and the table extension part 1B are shifted in relative position or angle from the overlapping state.

[0026] (Configuration of each table and holder section) The table main body 1A and the table extension section 1B are resin molded bodies, and are stacked vertically in the form of rectangular plates with almost the same outline. For this reason, the same parts and locations are given the same reference numerals in the drawings. The table main body 1A and the table extension section 1B are partitioned by a front surface 10, a back surface 11, and a surrounding wall 12, as shown in Figs. 2, 4, 5, 12, and 13, and are shallow container-shaped with the back side partitioned by the surrounding wall 12. The surrounding wall 12 of the table main body has cutouts 12a for operation knobs on the left and right, and the surrounding wall 12 of the table extension section has a single cutout 12a. In addition, the inside of the surrounding wall 12 of the table main body, i.e., the back surface 11, is provided with a pair of locking projections 15, 15, which are engaged parts protruding from approximately the center and maintaining a predetermined distance, and a pair of protruding pieces 16c protruding on the side away from the locking projections 15. Among these, the locking projections 15 face each other with a slight deviation from each other, and have recesses 15a formed on the facing surfaces. The protruding pieces 16c are for preventing rattling.

[0027] The rear surface 11 of the table main body 1A has, as shown in Fig. 12, four restricting walls 16 for restricting the position of the leg members, protruding from the left and right, front and rear, bearing protruding walls 14, 17 provided on the inside of each restricting wall 16 with a width equivalent to both side plates of the U-shape of the leg member 8, abutting parts 13 for receiving each side portion 8b of the leg member 8 in the standing state, and positioning pieces 16a, 16a and 16b, 16b for restricting the support plate 20 from the left and right. On the other hand, the rear surface 11 of the table extension 1B has, as shown in Fig. 13, restricting walls 16 for restricting the position of the leg members, protruding from two places on the left and front, front and rear, bearing protruding walls 14, 17 provided on the inside of each restricting wall 16 with a width equivalent to both side plates of the U-shape of the leg member 9, and abutting parts 13 for receiving each side portion 9b of the leg member 9 in the standing state.

[0028] A long groove 10a is provided in the left-right direction on the surface 10 of the table extension portion 1B for inserting and holding a sheet-like member such as a tablet. This long groove 10a is not provided on the surface 10 of the table main body 1A, but may be provided on the table main body 1A as well.

[0029] The table main body 1A and the table extension 1B have holes 10b through which the cup holder 30 is inserted, which are provided on different sides; in this example, the table main body 1A and the table extension 1B are provided on the left side in an overlapping manner. The hole 10b of the table main body 1A has a step 10c formed with a diameter slightly larger than that of the hole 10b of the table extension 1B as shown in FIG. 5, and four mounting holes 10d provided on the inner circumference of the step 10c. The cup holder 30 is fitted into each hole 10b. The cup holder 30 has a large-diameter edging portion 30a formed on the upper outer circumference, a receiving plate portion 30b provided on the inside of the lower end to receive a container, and a fitting groove 30c provided around the outer circumference of the lower end. Then, as shown in Figure 4, the cup holder 30 is fitted into hole 10b of the table extension portion 1B, hole 31c of the bearing holder 31 attached to the table extension portion 1B, and hole 10b of the table main body portion 1A, and then fixed to the table main body portion 1A by left and right retaining plates 37a, 37b and fixing plate 38 attached to the table main body portion 1A.

[0030] More specifically, the bearing holder 31 has a hole 31a arranged coaxially with the hole 10b, an upper step 31b on which the upper bearing 32 is arranged, a lower step 31c on which the lower bearing 33 is arranged, a plurality of mounting holes 31d penetrating in the vertical direction, and a plurality of recesses 31e provided at equal intervals around the lower cylindrical portion, as shown in Fig. 5. The bearing holder 31 is positioned relative to the back side of the table extension 1B as shown in Figs. 4 and 5, and is fixed by fastening a fastener B1 such as a screw through the mounting hole 31d to a corresponding portion of the table extension. At that time, the upper bearing 32 is fitted between the step 31b and the periphery of the cup holder 30.

[0031] Next, the table extension 1B is connected to the table main body 1A via the cup holder 30 and the angle adjustment mechanism (31e, 35) so that the angle can be adjusted. In this operation, first, the ball plunger 35 is assembled into each mounting hole 10d of the table main body. As shown in FIG. 4(c), the ball plunger 35 is biased toward the outside of the cylindrical member by a spring 35b in which the ball 35a is inserted into the cylindrical member. In this connection structure, the left and right holder holding plates 37a, 37b are fitted into the fitting groove 30c on the lower side of the cup holder 30, and the fixing plate 38 is further stacked on each of the holding plates 37a, 37b. From this state, the multiple fasteners B2 are fastened to the table main body 1A through the mounting holes provided in the fixing plate 38 and the mounting holes provided in the holding plates 37a, 37b.

[0032] In this manner, when the table main body 1A and the table extension 1B are connected to be relatively rotatable around the cup holder 30, the ball 35a of the ball plunger elastically engages with the recess 31e of the bearing holder, that is, the table extension 1B is elastically engaged to prevent accidental rotation. Also, for example, when the table extension 1B is rotated with a predetermined force, the recess 31e of the interlocking bearing holder elastically disengages from the ball 35a to allow rotation. That is, the recess 31e and the ball plunger 35 constitute an angle adjustment mechanism that allows the table extension 1B to be elastically held at any angle relative to the table main body 1A. In this example, the table extension 1B may be rotated right or left, and in either case, the table extension 1B is repeatedly engaged and disengaged every time it is rotated 30 degrees.

[0033] (Table with legs) Next, the leg members 8 provided on both sides of the rear surface of the table main body and the leg member 9 provided on one side of the rear surface of the table extension will be described with reference to Figs. 12 to 15. Each of the restricting walls 16 on the rear surface 11 restricts the front-rear position of the leg member 8 by arranging each side portion 8b of the leg member on the inside. Each of the leg members 8 is U-shaped, and the corresponding side portion 8b is arranged between the restricting wall 16 and the protruding wall 14, and between the restricting wall 16 and the protruding wall 17, and is pivotally supported by the shaft member 18 so as to be rotatable. Also, the leg member 8 has an operation knob 19 for holding the leg member 8 in a fallen state or for releasing the holding of the fallen state against the biasing force of the spring 3 to switch it to an upright state.

[0034] As shown in Fig. 12(b) and (c), the operation knob 19 integrally includes a gripping portion 19a, an intermediate portion 19b, a stopper pressure contact portion 19c protruding from one side of the intermediate portion 19b, and a spring locking portion 19d at the rear of the intermediate portion 19b. The gripping portion 19a of the operation knob 19 is disposed in a notch 12a provided in the peripheral wall 12 so as to be operable by a finger, and the intermediate portion 19b extends in a direction away from the notch 12a through a space below the shaft member 18. The operation knob 19 is biased in a direction away from the peripheral wall 12 by a coil-shaped spring S3, both ends of which are hooked between the locking portion 19d and the locking portion 17a provided behind the protruding portion 17. In this biased state, the pressure contact portion 19c enters the lower end of one of the two side portions 8b of the leg member 8, that is, the gap between the back surface 11 and the corresponding side portion 8b.

[0035] Therefore, even if vibration is applied to the leg member 8 in the fallen state shown in Fig. 12, the presence of the pressure contact portion 19c prevents the leg member 8 from rattling unintentionally. When the leg member 8 is switched to the standing state shown in Fig. 14, the grip portion 19a is pulled with a finger against the biasing force of the spring S3 to move the pressure contact portion 19c away from the corresponding side portion 8b of the leg member, and then the leg member 8 is rotated to switch to the standing state. When the leg member 8 is switched to the standing state, each side portion 8b abuts against the abutment portion 13 and is held at an angle greater than 90 degrees. As a result, the table extension portion 1B is stacked on the table main body portion 1A in an overlapping state, making it stable as a legged table and easy to use.

[0036] In this table device, the table extension 1B may be used in a state in which it is supported by the leg member 8 of the table main body 1A as shown in Fig. 14, but when it is desired to further increase the height, the auxiliary leg 8A is inverted from the leg member 8 with the shaft member 18a as a fulcrum as shown in Fig. 15. That is, the auxiliary leg 8A is substantially U-shaped, and both ends of its middle part 8a are pivotally supported by the shaft member 18a to both ends of the leg member side middle part 8a so as to be rotatable by approximately 90 degrees. The auxiliary leg 8A is formed in a flat plate shape with its middle part 8a overlapping the leg member side middle part 8a, and is formed in an L-shaped cross section with both side parts 8b overlapping the corresponding side parts 8b of the leg member.

[0037] In addition, the auxiliary leg 8A is in an extended state in which the protruding dimension of the leg member 8 is extended in the upright state, and its middle part 8a is located on the end face of the middle part 8a of the leg member side, and each side part 8b is located on the extension line of the side part 8a of the leg member. In addition, the auxiliary leg 8A is overlapped with the leg member 8 in the inverted state. That is, the middle part 8a of the auxiliary leg is overlapped with the inner surface of the middle part 8a of the leg member, and each side part 8b of the auxiliary leg is overlapped with the inner surface of the corresponding side part 8b of the leg member. In this case, since each side part 8b of the auxiliary leg has an L-shaped cross section, one side of the L-shape is sandwiched between the back surface 11 of the table body and the corresponding side part 8b of the leg member in the inverted state of the leg member 8. Therefore, the auxiliary leg 8A is also less likely to rattle even when vibration is applied.

[0038] On the other hand, the leg member 9 of the table extension portion 1B is used together with the leg member 8 in the extended state, and the front-rear position of the leg member 9 is restricted by arranging each side portion 9b of the leg member inside each restricting wall 16 of the back surface 11. That is, the leg member 9 is U-shaped, and the corresponding side portion 9b is arranged between the restricting wall 16 and the protruding wall 14, and between the restricting wall 16 and the protruding wall 17, and is pivotally supported by the shaft member 19 so as to be rotatable. Also, the leg member 9 has an operation knob 19 for holding the leg member 9 in an inverted state or for releasing the held inverted state against the biasing force of the spring 3 to switch it to an upright state.

[0039] The operation knob 19 has the same structure and function as the operation knob 19 of the leg member 8, so a description thereof will be omitted. The leg member 9 is longer than the leg member 8, and in the fallen state of Fig. 13, the presence of the pressure contact portion 19c prevents the leg member 9 from rattling unintentionally even if vibration is applied. To switch the leg member 9 to the standing state of Fig. 16, the grip portion 19a is pulled with a finger against the biasing force of the spring S3 to move the pressure contact portion 19c away from the corresponding side portion 9b of the leg member, and then the leg member 9 is rotated to switch to the standing state. When the leg member 9 is switched to the standing state, each side portion 9b abuts against the abutment portion 13 and is held at an angle greater than 90 degrees.

[0040] As a result, the table extension 1B functions as a legged table together with the table main body 1A in the extended state. That is, in the legged table usage state of Fig. 16, the table extension 1B is rotated 180 degrees with respect to the table main body 1A, and the leg members 8 and 9 extended by the auxiliary leg 8A can be used as a tall legged table. In this case, by switching the other leg member 8 of the table main body 1A from a tilted state to an upright state, the table can be supported more stably by the three legs.

[0041] (Opening and Closing Mechanism) Next, the detailed configuration of the opening and closing mechanism 2 will be made clear with reference to FIGS. 1 to 3 and 7 to 11. FIG. The opening / closing mechanism 2 includes a bracket 5 fixed to the seat back rear surface 4b, a support plate 20 rotatably supported by the bracket 5 and on which the table main body 1A is detachably placed, a pair of engagement plates 40 that are slidably provided in the left-right direction on the support plate 20 and engage with and disengage from the engagement protrusions 15, 15, a spring S1 that urges each engagement plate 40 in a protruding direction, an upper lever 41 that switches each engagement plate 40 from a protruding state, which is the engagement direction, to a retracted direction in which the engagement is released by operating against the urging force of the spring S1, a pair of cams 6 fixed to the bracket 5, a shaft 7 that is rotatably supported by each cam 6 and slides along a guide groove 27 provided in the support plate 20, a lower lever 46 that is rotatably supported by an axis member 55 on the support plate 20 and restricts or allows the shaft 7 to slide within the guide groove 27, and a spring S2 that urges the lever 46 in a counterclockwise direction. 7 also shows the lever 46, the shaft portion 43, and the spring S2 in a state before being attached to the support plate 20. As shown in FIG.

[0042] The bracket 5 is a metal plate member and is composed of a horizontal plate portion 50 extending to the left and right, and a pair of vertical plate portions 51, 51 that are integrated with the horizontal plate portion 50 and extend downward with a gap therebetween. Holders 28 are fixed to the left and right sides of the horizontal plate portion 50, and the table main body portion 1A or the support plate 20 is rotated relative to each holder 28 about an axis member 55 as a fulcrum to switch between the use state shown in Fig. 1 or 2 and the storage state shown in Fig. 3. Although each holder 28 is fixed to the bracket 5 with a bolt, it is also possible to fix it by a joining structure or to form it integrally with the bracket 5.

[0043] As shown in FIG. 10, the support plate 20 is substantially T-shaped and includes a horizontal plate portion 21 extending left and right and a vertical plate portion 22 extending in a direction intersecting from the left and right intermediate portion of the horizontal plate portion, and the upper surface is covered by a cover 29. The horizontal plate portion 21 has holes 21a penetrating vertically on both sides, and the holders 28 are disposed in the holes 21a. Each holder 28 has a coaxial shaft hole 28a provided in the opposing side walls, and is assembled so as to be relatively rotatable by a shaft member 55 inserted in a skewered state into each shaft hole 28a from a hole in the end surface of the horizontal plate portion 21 when disposed in the hole 21a. The U-shaped intermediate portion of each holder 28 is fixed to the bracket 5 by a bolt or the like. In this state, the support plate 20 is rotatable about the shaft member 55 as a fulcrum, and is switched from the usage state shown in FIG. 9(a) to the storage state shown in FIG. 9(b).

[0044] The upper surface of the vertical plate portion 22 has, as shown in FIG. 11, two arrangement portions 23 on both sides provided slightly before the tip, groove portions 24 for arranging the coil springs S1 provided on the left and right sides of the arrangement portion 23, and a shaft portion 25 protruding from the center of the arrangement portion 23. An engagement plate 40 is arranged in each arrangement portion 23 together with the springs S1. The engagement plate 40 has a substantially inverted L-shaped engagement portion 40a that engages with and disengages from the recesses 15a of the locking projections, an extension portion 40b provided on the rear side of the engagement portion 40a, a shaft portion 40d provided on the upper surface of the extension portion 40b, and a shaft portion 40c protruding rearward from the rear end surface of the extension portion 40b. Each engagement plate 40 is assembled to the left and right arrangement portions 23 so that the springs S1 are accommodated in the corresponding groove portions 24 with the springs S1 arranged around the shaft portions 40c. 10(a), the left and right engagement plates 40 are protruded to their maximum by the biasing force of the spring S1. From this state, the lever 41 is assembled into the support plate 20.

[0045] The lever 41 is formed by bending the front side of the linear plate downward, and has a gripping portion 41a at the bent portion and three equally spaced shaft holes 41c in the linear plate portion 41b. When the lever 41 is assembled to the support plate 20 with the central shaft hole 41c fitted to the shaft portion 25 and the front and rear shaft holes 41c fitted to the shaft portions 40d of the left and right engagement plates, the gripping portion 41a at the tip is arranged along the tip surface of the vertical plate portion 22. Finally, the cover 29 is attached to the support plate 20 by engaging a plurality of screws B3 from the holes 29a on the cover side to the holes 20a on the support plate side. The lever 41 is usually inclined counterclockwise with the shaft portion 25 as a fulcrum because the left and right engagement plates 40 are protruded by the biasing force of the spring S1 and in the engagement position as shown in FIG. 10(a). In FIG. 10(b), when the gripping portion 45a is moved in the direction of the arrow against the biasing force from that state, the engaging plates 40 retreat in the retracting direction so as to approach each other, and are switched to the disengaged position.

[0046] The lower surface of the vertical plate portion 22 has two groove-forming projections 26 extending in a straight line from the front end to the rear as shown in FIG. 8, and a guide groove 27 provided on each projection 26. The projections 26 are provided at a predetermined interval. A pair of bearings 28 protrude from the outer surface at the tip side of each projection 26. The lower lever 46 has an operating portion 46a as shown in FIG. 7, a thick plate portion 46b protruding rearward from the operating portion 46a and forming a shaft hole 46d penetrating left and right, and a locking plate portion 46c protruding rearward from the end face of the thick plate portion 46b. Although not shown in the figure, the thick portion 46b has a concave cutout in the middle.

[0047] The lever 46 described above is pivotally supported in such a manner that the thick plate portion 46b is disposed between the bearing portions 28, the shaft member 43 is inserted into the shaft hole (not shown) of one bearing portion 28 and the shaft hole 46d of the thick plate portion 46b, and then inserted into the shaft hole (not shown) of the other bearing portion 28, and a retaining ring E is attached to the protruding shaft portion to prevent it from coming off. In addition, a coil-shaped spring S2 is disposed on the shaft portion of the shaft member 43 that passes through the recess. One end of the spring S2 is engaged with the thick plate portion 46b, and the other end is engaged with the upper surface corresponding portion of the lever 46 while exerting an urging force. The lever 46 is urged counterclockwise by the urging force of the spring S2 as shown in FIG. 8, and the locking plate portion 46c enters into the gap between the protrusions 26. In this state, the intermediate portion 7a of the shaft 7 described later is restrained by the locking plate portion 46c on the rear end side of the guide groove 27 as shown in FIG. 7 and FIG. 8.

[0048] Each cam 6 is made of a resin molded body and is disposed opposite the vertical plate portions 51, 51 of the bracket. It integrally comprises a fixing base portion 6a, a vertical wall portion 6b erected on the base portion 6a, a shaft hole 6c provided on the inner wall portion of the vertical wall portion 6b, and a cam portion for pressure contact provided around the shaft hole 6c. Although the cam portion is not shown, it is the portion where the corresponding portion of the shaft 7 is pressure-contacted. The base portion 6a is flat and is fixed to the bracket 5 with a plurality of screws or the like. The vertical wall portion 6b is thick and is provided with a predetermined rigidity by a reinforcing rib on the back side. The shaft hole 6c is thickly provided from the inner surface of the vertical wall portion 6b, and the end 7c of the shaft 7 is inserted. The cam portion is located on the lower inner surface of the vertical wall portion 6b and is formed on an inclined surface.

[0049] The shaft 7 is made of a round metal wire material, and is bent generally into a U-shape to form a middle piece 7a and two pieces 7b. The overall dimension of the shaft 7 is the length at which the U-shaped middle piece 7a is moved to the rear end of the guide groove 27 when the table device is placed in the use state as shown in FIG. 1. The two pieces 7b of the U-shape are provided so that the distance between them gradually increases toward the ends 7c. The ends 7c are pivot parts bent outward. The two pieces 7b are shaped as described above when the elastic force narrows the distance between them. For the configuration and operation of the cam 6 and the shaft 7, please refer to the cam part 45 and the shaft 3 described in Japanese Patent No. 4451549.

[0050] (Main Functions) The above-described vehicle table device has the following advantages over the conventional structure. (1) In this embodiment, as shown in Fig. 6(a) and (b), the table extension 1B rotates, for example, 180 degrees with respect to the table main body 1A, with the cup holder 30 as a pivot, and the ball plunger 35 and the angle adjustment mechanism of the recess 31e are engaged and disengaged at every predetermined angle, and are arranged on a straight line as shown in Fig. 6(c). In this structure, the angle adjustment mechanism provides a sense of moderation when the table extension 1B rotates, and after the rotation, the table extension 1B and the table main body 6A can be used in a stable state without moving inadvertently due to vibration or the like. When the table extension 1B is arranged on a straight line with the table main body 6A, the table receiving surface is considerably enlarged, as can be inferred from Fig. 2, so that the usability is improved. In addition, when the table extension 1B is attached to the seat back 4a of the driver's seat, the passengers sitting in the rear seat and the passengers sitting in the auxiliary seat can easily share the table surface.

[0051] (2) Moreover, in this configuration, when a container C is held in the holder section 3 with the table main body section 1A and the table extension section 1B overlapping as shown in Fig. 1, the table extension section 1B can be rotated while maintaining the container C held therein to switch to the extended state at a predetermined angle, or can be switched from the extended state to the overlapping state again. In this way, this structure is convenient because it allows switching between the overlapping state and the extended state without worrying about the container C. Of course, the same applies when a tablet or a pamphlet is held in the long groove 10a.

[0052] (3) In this table device, with the bracket 5 constituting the opening / closing mechanism 2 fixed to the rear surface 4b of the seat back or the side surface of the seat cushion, the table main body 1A and the table extension 1B are connected and supported to the opening / closing mechanism 2 by engaging the engagement plate 40 with the locking projection 15, which is the engaged part, and by disengaging the engagement, the table main body 1A and the table extension 1B can be separated from the opening / closing mechanism 2. Therefore, in this structure, by separating the table main body 1A and the table extension 1B from the opening / closing mechanism 2, the space inside the vehicle can be widely and comfortably utilized, and the separated table main body 1A and table extension 1B can be carried outside the vehicle and used as a table for camping, etc., making it highly versatile.

[0053] (4) In the operation of connecting the table main body 1A to the opening / closing mechanism 2, as can be inferred from FIG. 8, the table main body 1A and the table extension 1B are held and pressed down so that each locking protrusion 15 abuts against the corresponding engagement plate 40 of the opening / closing mechanism 2. Then, each engagement plate 40 changes from the protruding state to the retracted state against the biasing force of the spring S1, and at the same time, moves in the protruding direction by the biasing force of the spring S1 and engages with the corresponding recess 15a. On the other hand, in the operation of separating the table main body 1A, when the gripping portion 45a is pushed with a finger in the direction of the arrow in FIG. 10(b) to rotate the lever 45, each engagement plate 40 is switched from the protruding state to the retracted state and disengaged from the corresponding recess 15a. After that, it is only necessary to lift the table main body 1A and the table extension 1B. Therefore, in this structure, both the operation of engaging and connecting the table main body 1A to the opening / closing mechanism 2 and the operation of disengaging and separating can be performed with a single touch. This table device is therefore easy to operate and use.

[0054] (5) The opening / closing mechanism 2 has a bracket 5 fixed to the seat side, and the support plate 20 on which the table main body 1A and the table extension 1B can be placed is rotatably attached to the bracket 5, so that it is easy to adopt an engagement structure for attaching and detaching the table main body 1A to the support plate 20. In addition, the table main body 1A and the table extension 1B detached from the support plate 20 can be configured with legs as in the embodiment, improving usability outside the vehicle cabin, and moreover, the support plate 20 of the opening / closing mechanism 2 can be easily switched between the use state and the folded state as shown in Fig. 9.

[0055] (6) The engaging plate 40, which is the locking part, can be switched from a protruding state in which it engages with the locking projection 15, which is the engaged part, to a retracted state in which it disengages by pushing the lever 45 against the biasing force of the spring S1. For this reason, in this opening / closing mechanism 2, for example, it is possible to easily engage the engaging projection 15 of the table main body 1A by simply pressing the engaging plate 40 on the support plate side against the biasing force. Furthermore, when the engaging plate 40 and the locking projection 15 are in an engaged state, the engaging plate 40 is always biased in the protruding direction by the biasing force, so that the risk of rattling even when vibrations are applied during travel and the risk of inadvertent disengagement can be reliably eliminated.

[0056] (7) In this structure, when it is desired to use the table main body 1A and the table extension 1B, the table main body 1A and the table extension 1B are rotated about the shaft member 55 as a fulcrum so as to be raised from the stored state shown in Fig. 3. Then, the table main body 1A and the table extension 1B are rotated upward while the intermediate piece 7a at the tip of the shaft 7 moves along the guide groove 27, and finally the locking plate 46c of the lever 46 is pushed out of the guide groove 27 against the biasing force of the spring S2 and moves to the rear end of the guide groove 27. At the same time as this movement, the lever 46 is rotated by the biasing force of the spring S2, and the locking plate 46c enters the guide groove 27, restricting the movement of the intermediate piece 7a and keeping the table main body 1A and the table extension 1B in the usable state. Therefore, in this structure, even if a large external force is applied to the table main body 1A and the table extension 1B, the stability of the usable state is maintained.

[0057] (8) On the other hand, when switching the table main body 1A and the table extension 1B to the stored state, the table main body 1A and the table extension 1B are pushed downward while pushing the operating part 46a of the lower lever 46 upward. When the lever 46 is pushed, it is rotated like a seesaw with the shaft member 43 as a fulcrum, and the rear locking plate part 46c is displaced slightly downward and the holding state is released (that is, the relative movement between the table main body 1A and the shaft 7 is permitted). Therefore, the table main body 1A and the table extension 1B can be rotated to the stored state along the rotation trajectory of the shaft 7 with the guiding action of the shaft 7 against the guide groove 27. In the stored state, the terminal sides of both pieces 7b of the table main body 1A and the table extension 1B are in pressure contact with the cam parts of the corresponding cams 6, so that they do not rattle or rotate upward inadvertently even if vibration is applied.

[0058] (9) The table main body 1A separated from the opening / closing mechanism 2 has, together with the table extension 1B in an overlapping state as shown in Fig. 14, leg members 8 that can be switched between a tilted state and an upright state, and an operation knob 19 that holds the leg members 8 in a tilted state or releases the hold of the tilted state. When the operation knob 19 is pulled outward against the biasing force of the spring S3, the abutment portion 19c comes out from between the back surface 11 and the leg member side portion 8b, thereby enabling the leg members 8 to rotate. For this reason, in this structure, for example, the table main body 1A and the table extension 1B can be carried outside the vehicle cabin in a separated state detached from the opening / closing mechanism 2, and with the operation knob 19 pulled against the biasing force of the spring 3, each leg member 8 can be rotated outward about the shaft member 18 as a fulcrum, and used as a table with the leg members 8.

[0059] (10) In this case, the leg member 8 is restricted by the abutment portion 19c so as not to inadvertently stand up via the operation knob 19 in a fallen state, so that rattling can be suppressed even if vibrations during travel are applied. Moreover, in this structure, as shown in Fig. 15, the leg member 8 has auxiliary legs 8A that can be switched between a shortened state arranged along the outer periphery and an extended state in which the protruding dimension is extended, and the height of the table can be increased by simply rotating the auxiliary legs 8A about the shaft members 18a as a fulcrum, thereby improving usability as a table.

[0060] (11) In addition, in this structure, when the table extension 1B is rotated by a predetermined angle with respect to the table main body 1A to be in an extended state as illustrated in Fig. 16, it can be used as a long table with legs. That is, in the legged table in the figure, the table extension 1B is arranged in a straight line with the table main body 1A, and is supported in a horizontal state at a predetermined height by the leg members 8 and auxiliary legs 8A of the table main body 1A and the leg members 9 of the table extension 1B. In this case, the stability of the table when used can be further improved by switching the leg members 8 provided on the table main body 1A in the figure, which is in a tilted state, to an upright state and by extending the auxiliary legs 8A to form a three-legged support leg.

[0061] (Modification) This vehicle table device differs from the above embodiment in that the opening / closing mechanism 2 is detachable from the seat back 4 or seat cushion of the seat to which it is attached, as shown in Figures 17 to 19. In this explanation, the same reference numerals are used for the same members and parts as in the above embodiment, and new reference numerals are added to the different members and parts to avoid redundant description as much as possible.

[0062] 17 to 19, the vehicle table device is similar to the embodiment described above and is composed of a table main body 1A and a table extension 1B, an opening / closing mechanism 2, and a holder 3. The relationship between the table main body 1 and the opening / closing mechanism 2 is the same as the embodiment, that is, the table main body 1A and the table extension 1B are detachable from the opening / closing mechanism 2 by engaging / disengaging the locking protrusion 15, which is the engaged part, with the engagement plate 40, which is the engaging part. However, as a device structure of a modified example, it is also acceptable to have a configuration in which the table main body 1A and the table extension 1B cannot be attached to or detached from the opening / closing mechanism 2 (for example, the configuration disclosed in Japanese Patent No. 4451549).

[0063] The new configuration has a pair of hooks 49 as engaging parts protruding from the rear surface 4b of the seat back of the seat to which the seat is to be attached, and a pair of engagement holes 53, 54 as engaging parts for engaging and disengaging with each hook 49 are provided in the bracket 5 of the opening / closing mechanism unit 2.

[0064] Here, the hook 49 is substantially L-shaped, and the vertical piece 49b is disposed upward along the back surface 4b with the horizontal piece 49a fixed to a corresponding part of the frame 40, which is a framework of the seat back 4, or to a plate material 41 joined to the frame 40. The tip of the vertical piece 49b forms a claw 49c that protrudes slightly in the same direction as the horizontal piece 49a. The engagement hole 53 is a rectangular hole of a size that allows the hook 49 to be inserted, as shown in Fig. 17(a). The engagement hole 54 is smaller in vertical dimension than the engagement hole 53, and is shaped to engage with the claw 49c in the inserted state.

[0065] As shown in the schematic diagram of Fig. 17(b), the seat back 4 has a frame 45 formed in a substantially frame shape, a urethane foam 47 held by the frame 45, and a skin material 48 covering the urethane foam 47. A holding portion into which a headrest stay (not shown) is inserted, a plate material 46, and the like are attached to the upper portion of the frame 45. An end of the horizontal piece 49a is joined to the plate material 46, but an end of the claw portion 49c is not joined. Therefore, the claw portion 49c abuts against the urethane foam 47, but when the vicinity of the claw portion of the urethane foam 42 is pressed, a gap is formed between the tip of the claw portion 49c and the plate material 46.

[0066] (Main Operation) Next, the operation of attaching and detaching the above-mentioned opening / closing mechanism 2 to and from the seat back rear surface 4b will be described. Note that this operation may be performed in a state where the opening / closing mechanism 2 is connected to the table main body 1A, or in a state where the table main body 1A is separated. That is, FIG. 18(a) shows a state where the bracket 5 on the opening / closing mechanism side is brought close to the seat back rear surface 4b so as to insert the hooks 49 corresponding to the left and right engagement holes 53 of the bracket 5. FIG. 18(b) shows a state where the bracket 5 on the opening / closing mechanism side is moved downward while being pressed with the hooks 49 corresponding to the left and right engagement holes 53 inserted, so that the horizontal pieces 49a of each hook come into contact with the upper end surfaces of the engagement holes 53 and the claws 49c enter the upper engagement holes 54. FIG. 19(a) shows a state where the pressing force of the bracket 5 is released and the claws 49c are engaged and fixed in the engagement holes 54 by the reaction force of the urethane foam 47. By such a simple operation, the opening / closing mechanism side bracket 5 is fixed to the seat back rear surface 4b by the engagement of the engagement holes 53, 54 with the hooks 49.

[0067] Furthermore, when releasing the engagement and separating the bracket 5 on the opening / closing mechanism side from the seat back 4, for example, when the bracket 5 is pushed toward the seat back 4 from the state shown in Fig. 19(a), the claw portion 49c comes out of the engagement hole 54 and is released from the engagement. When the bracket 5 on the opening / closing mechanism side is moved upward from this state, the horizontal piece 49a comes into contact with the lower end surface of the engagement hole 53 as shown in Fig. 18(a), and the claw portion 49c enters the engagement hole 53. When the bracket 5 on the opening / closing mechanism side is separated from the rear surface 4b of the seat back from this state, it is separated and can be carried alone.

[0068] Therefore, in this modified example, when the engaging holes 53, 54 of the bracket 5 are disengaged from the hook 49 on the seat back side and the bracket 5 (opening / closing mechanism 2) is removed from the seat back 4, the bracket 5 (opening / closing mechanism 2) does not remain on the seat back 4 side, which improves the appearance and makes the vehicle interior space larger. Note that with this structure, the bracket 5 can be easily engaged or disengaged by moving the bracket with the hook 49 inserted into the engaging holes 53, 54. This operation is easy to handle because the bracket 5 is integrated with the opening / closing mechanism 2, or is integrated with the opening / closing mechanism 2 and the table main body 1A.

[0069] Although the present invention is embodied in the above-mentioned embodiment and modified examples, it can be modified except for the technical element described in claim 1. For example, the bottom surface of the cup holder may be received by a fixed or tiltable dedicated member. Also, the long groove in the table extension may be omitted, or conversely, a long groove may be provided in the table main body. [Explanation of symbols]
