[0010] SUMMARY OF THE PRESENT EMBODIMENT An object of the present invention is to solve the above-mentioned problems in an apparatus for decomposing and treating odorous gases containing ammonia and the like.

[0011] In other words, an object of the present invention is to enable efficient decomposition and treatment of odorous gases containing ammonia and the like without increasing the size of the apparatus. [Means for solving the problem]

[0012] In order to solve the above-mentioned problems, the odorous gas treatment device of the present invention comprises a combustion chamber in which odorous gas is thermally decomposed by combustion with a burner, a heat storage chamber provided below the combustion chamber in which the heat of a first decomposition gas thermally decomposed in the combustion chamber is stored in a heat storage material and the odorous gas remaining in the first decomposition gas is thermally decomposed by the heat stored in the heat storage material, and an exhaust section for exhausting a second decomposition gas obtained after the odorous gas has been thermally decomposed in the heat storage chamber.

[0013] In the odor gas treatment device of the present invention, the odor gas is thermally decomposed in the combustion chamber by burning with a burner, and the first decomposition gas of the odor gas burned in the combustion chamber is led to a heat storage chamber provided under the combustion chamber, and the heat in the first decomposition gas of the odor gas is stored in the heat storage material in the heat storage chamber, and the odor gas remaining in the first decomposition gas is decomposed by the heat stored in the heat storage material, so that the odor gas can be decomposed in a short time and the combustion chamber can be shortened (reduced in height), and the device does not become large as in the past, and the odor gas can be efficiently decomposed and treated. In particular, the ability to reduce the height of the combustion chamber allows the device to be installed in factory buildings with low ceilings.

[0014] Here, the type of odorous gas to be decomposed and treated by the odorous gas treatment device of the present invention is not particularly limited, but it can be used to treat odorous gases containing ammonia.

[0015] In addition, in the odor gas treatment device of the present invention, a control device is provided for controlling the flow rates of fuel and combustion air supplied to a burner provided in the combustion chamber, and a temperature detection device is provided for detecting the temperature of the second decomposition gas exhausted from the exhaust section, and the flow rates of the fuel and combustion air supplied to the burner can be controlled by the control device based on the temperature of the second decomposition gas detected by the temperature detection device.

[0016] When the temperature of the second decomposition gas exhausted from the exhaust section detected by the temperature detection device is low, the control device increases the flow rates of fuel and air supplied to the burner, whereas when the temperature of the second decomposition gas exhausted from the exhaust section is high, the control device decreases the flow rates of fuel and air supplied to the burner.

[0017] When the temperature of the second decomposition gas discharged from the exhaust section is low, if the flow rate of fuel and air supplied to the burner is increased, the temperature of the odorous gas burned and decomposed in the combustion chamber increases, accelerating the decomposition of the odorous gas, and the temperature of the first decomposition gas led to the heat storage chamber increases, so that the heat stored in the heat storage material in the heat storage chamber increases, and the odorous gas remaining in the first decomposition gas is more efficiently decomposed by the heat stored in the heat storage material. On the other hand, when the temperature of the second decomposition gas discharged from the exhaust section is high, even if the flow rate of fuel and air supplied to the burner is reduced, the temperature of the heat storage material in the combustion chamber and the heat storage chamber is high, so that the odorous gas can be appropriately burned and decomposed in the combustion chamber, and the odorous gas remaining in the first decomposition gas can be decomposed by the heat stored in the heat storage material, and it is not necessary to use more fuel than necessary, while the temperature of the second decomposition gas discharged from the exhaust section decreases, making it possible to protect the cooling device that cools and processes the second decomposition gas. If the concentration of odorous gas in the combustion chamber becomes too high, the supply of fuel can be stopped.

[0018] Here, when an odorous gas containing ammonia is used as the odorous gas, the hydrogen contained in the odorous gas remaining in the first decomposition gas is burned and consumed by the heat stored in the heat storage material, and the heat from this combustion is stored in the heat storage material, so that the second decomposition gas can be safely exhausted and the hydrogen contained in the odorous gas can be effectively utilized.

[0019] In the odor gas treatment device of the present invention, the heat storage chamber is provided laterally from below the combustion chamber, the exhaust section is provided at a position of the heat storage chamber away from the combustion chamber, and a suppression section is provided at the boundary between the combustion chamber and the heat storage chamber close to the exhaust section for suppressing the first decomposition gas of the odor gas burned in the combustion chamber from flowing into the heat storage chamber, so that the first decomposition gas can be guided to the heat storage chamber from a position away from the exhaust section. In this manner, the first decomposition gas of the odorous gas heated and decomposed by combustion in the combustion chamber is prevented from flowing into the heat storage chamber from the boundary between the combustion chamber and the heat storage chamber, which is close to the exhaust section, and the prevention section provided at the boundary section allows the first decomposition gas to be introduced into the heat storage chamber from a position away from the exhaust section and guided to the exhaust section. As a result, the heat in the first decomposition gas of the odorous gas is efficiently stored in the entire heat storage material in the heat storage chamber, and the odorous gas remaining in the first decomposition gas is more efficiently decomposed by the heat stored in the heat storage material in the heat storage chamber. Effect of the Invention

[0020] In the odor gas treatment device of the present invention, as described above, the odor gas is thermally decomposed by a burner in the combustion chamber, and a first decomposition gas of the odor gas thermally decomposed in the combustion chamber is introduced into a heat storage chamber provided below the combustion chamber, and heat in the first decomposition gas is stored in a heat storage material in the heat storage chamber, and the odor gas remaining in the first decomposition gas is decomposed by the heat stored in the heat storage material, and the second decomposition gas after the odor gas is decomposed is exhausted from an exhaust section.

[0021] As a result, the odorous gas treatment device of the present invention can efficiently decompose and treat the odorous gas without increasing the size of the device. [Brief description of the drawings]

[Figure 8] FIG. 13 is a cross-sectional explanatory diagram showing a further modified example in which a suppression section is provided at the boundary between the combustion chamber and the heat storage chamber near the exhaust section in the odor gas treatment device according to the embodiment described above, for preventing the first decomposition gas of the odor gas burned in the combustion chamber from flowing into the heat storage chamber. BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THEINVENTION

[0023] The odorous gas treatment device according to the embodiment of the present invention will be specifically described below with reference to the accompanying drawings. Note that the odorous gas treatment device according to the present invention is not limited to the embodiment shown below, and can be appropriately modified and implemented within the scope of the invention.

[0024] In the odor gas treatment device according to the embodiment, as shown in Figs. 1 and 2, an odor gas Gn containing ammonia NH3 is introduced into the combustion chamber 10 from an introduction part 11 provided at the top of the combustion chamber 10, and the odor gas Gn is burned by each burner 12 provided in the combustion chamber 10, so that the ammonia NH3 contained in the odor gas Gn is burned and thermally decomposed into hydrogen H2 and nitrogen N2, and the first decomposition gas Gn1 of the burned odor gas Gn is discharged from the combustion chamber 10. The decomposed gas Gn1 is led into a heat storage chamber 20 provided horizontally below the decomposed gas storage chamber 10, and the heat of the first decomposed gas Gn1 is stored in a heat storage material 21 contained in the heat storage chamber 20, and the odorous gas Gn remaining in the first decomposed gas Gn1 is thermally decomposed by the heat stored in the heat storage material 21, and the second decomposed gas Gn2 obtained after the odorous gas Gn remaining in the first decomposed gas Gn1 is decomposed in the heat storage chamber 20 is exhausted through an exhaust section 22 provided horizontally. In this way, the overall height of the odorous gas treatment apparatus can be made lower than when the heat storage chamber is provided vertically and the exhaust section is provided below the heat storage chamber as in the conventional case, and the apparatus can be installed in a factory building with a low ceiling.

[0025] In the odorous gas treatment device of the embodiment, the temperature of the second decomposition gas Gn2 exhausted through the exhaust section 22 as described above is detected by the temperature detection device 31, and the temperature of the second decomposition gas Gn2 detected by this temperature detection device 31 is output to the control device 30.

[0026] In addition, in this embodiment, in order to prevent the heat storage material 21 contained in the heat storage chamber 20 from spilling out into the exhaust section 22, a grating 23 is provided between the heat storage chamber 20 and the exhaust section 22.

[0027] Here, in the odor gas treatment device according to this embodiment, when the odor gas Gn is burned and thermally decomposed by each burner 12 provided in the combustion chamber 10, a flow control valve 13a is provided in each fuel supply pipe 13 which supplies the fuel gas Ga to each burner 12, and a flow control valve 14a is provided in each air supply pipe 14 which supplies the combustion air Air to each burner 12.

[0028] The temperature of the second decomposition gas Gn2 exhausted from the heat storage chamber 20 through the exhaust section 22 as described above is detected by the temperature detection device 31, and based on the temperature of the second decomposition gas Gn2 detected by this temperature detection device 31, the control device 30 adjusts the flow control valves 13a provided in each fuel supply pipe 13 to adjust the amount of fuel gas Ga supplied to each burner 12, and adjusts the flow control valves 14a provided in each air supply pipe 14 to adjust the combustion air Air supplied to each burner 12.

[0029] Here, when the temperature of the second decomposition gas Gn2 detected by the temperature detector 31 does not reach a predetermined temperature, for example, 800°C at which the thermal decomposition of the second decomposition gas Gn2 becomes difficult, as shown in FIG. 1, the flow control valve 13a provided in each fuel supply pipe 13 is adjusted by the control device 30 to adjust the amount of fuel gas Ga supplied to each burner 12, and the flow control valve 14a provided in each air supply pipe 14 is adjusted to adjust the combustion air Air supplied to each burner 12, and the fuel gas Ga and the combustion air Air are mixed and burned in each burner 12, and the odorous gas Gn containing ammonia NH3 introduced into the combustion chamber 10 from the introduction part 11 as described above is heated in the combustion chamber 10, and the ammonia NH3 contained in the odorous gas Gn is decomposed into hydrogen H2 and nitrogen N2.

[0030] The first decomposition gas Gn1 of the odorous gas Gn thus combusted is introduced into the heat storage chamber 20, and the heat of the first decomposition gas Gn1 is stored in the heat storage material 21 contained in the heat storage chamber 20, and the odorous gas Gn remaining in the first decomposition gas Gn1 is heated and decomposed by the heat stored in the heat storage material 21.

[0031] On the other hand, when the temperature of the second decomposition gas Gn2 detected by the temperature detection device 31 reaches a predetermined temperature of 800°C or higher and the temperature inside the combustion chamber 10 reaches a temperature at which the odorous gas Gn containing ammonia NH3 can be thermally decomposed, the control device 30 reduces the flow rates of the fuel gas Ga and the combustion air Air supplied to each burner 12 to maintain the temperature inside the combustion chamber 10.

[0032] 2, when the temperature inside the combustion chamber 10 becomes too high, the flow rate control valves 13a provided on the fuel supply pipes 13 are closed by the control device 30 to prevent the fuel gas Ga from being supplied to the burners 12, and in order to suppress the temperature inside the combustion chamber 10 from rising, only the combustion air Air is supplied to the burners 12 from the air supply pipes 14, so that the odorous gas Gn containing ammonia NH3 introduced into the combustion chamber 10 from the introduction part 11 is burned and thermally decomposed in the combustion chamber 10. Note that the flow rate control valves 13a and 14a are shown as open and closed, respectively, in white and black.

[0033] When the first decomposition gas Gn1 of the odorous gas Gn thus burned and decomposed is introduced into the heat storage chamber 20, the odorous gas Gn remaining in the first decomposition gas Gn1 is sufficiently decomposed by heat stored in the heat storage material 21 which is heated to a high temperature and contained in the heat storage chamber 20. A combustion chamber temperature sensor (not shown) for detecting the temperature in the combustion chamber 10 may be provided to detect whether the temperature in the combustion chamber 10 has reached the combustion temperature at which the odorous gas Gn containing ammonia NH3 is burned.

[0034] In this way, the amount of fuel gas Ga supplied to each burner 12 can be reduced, thereby reducing fuel costs, and the temperature of the second decomposition gas Gn2 exhausted through the exhaust section 22 can be prevented from becoming higher than necessary, and a cooling device (not shown) that cools the second decomposition gas Gn2 exhausted through the exhaust section 22 can be protected.

[0035] Furthermore, when the odorous gas Gn containing ammonia NH3 is used as the odorous gas Gn as described above, the hydrogen H2 contained in the odorous gas Gn remaining in the first decomposition gas Gn1 is burned and consumed by the heat stored in the heat storage material 21, and the heat from this combustion is stored in the heat storage material 21, so that the second decomposition gas Gn2 can be safely exhausted and the hydrogen H2 contained in the odorous gas Gn can be effectively utilized.

[0036] In the odor gas treatment device according to this embodiment, when the odor gas Gn is burned by each burner 12 provided in the combustion chamber 10 as described above, it is preferable to form the combustion chamber 10 into a cylindrical shape as shown in Fig. 3, and to inject the fuel gas Ga and the combustion air Air from each burner 12 in a tangential direction on the inner circumference side of the combustion chamber 10, so that the odor gas Gn introduced into the combustion chamber 10 from the introduction part 11 is burned by swirling in the combustion chamber 10. In this way, the odor gas Gn introduced into the combustion chamber 10 is burned while being sufficiently stirred in the combustion chamber 10, and the odor gas Gn is quickly burned and decomposed, and the height of the combustion chamber 10 can be reduced.

[0037] In addition, in the odor gas treatment device according to this embodiment, as shown in FIG. 4 and FIG. 5, in order to prevent the first decomposition gas Gn1 of the odor gas Gn burned in the combustion chamber 10 from flowing from the combustion chamber 10 at a position close to the exhaust section 22 into the heat storage chamber 20 and being immediately guided to the exhaust section 22 and discharged, a semicircular shaped inhibiting plate 41 is provided at the boundary between the combustion chamber 10 and the heat storage chamber 20 close to the exhaust section 22 so as to protrude toward the center as an inhibiting section 40 for inhibiting the first decomposition gas Gn1 from being guided to the heat storage chamber 20, and the first decomposition gas Gn1 can be guided to the heat storage chamber 20 through a communication section 50 away from the exhaust section 22 where the inhibiting plate 41 is not provided.

[0038] In this manner, the first decomposition gas Gn1 is introduced into the heat storage chamber 20 from a position away from the exhaust section 22 through the communication section 50 and guided to the exhaust section 22, so that the heat of the first decomposition gas Gn1 is efficiently stored throughout the heat storage material 21 in the heat storage chamber 20, and the odorous gas Gn remaining in the first decomposition gas Gn1 is more efficiently decomposed by the heat stored in the heat storage material 21 in the heat storage chamber 20.

[0039] In addition, in the odor gas treatment device shown in FIG. 4, in order to prevent the heat storage material 21 contained in the heat storage chamber 20 from spilling out into the exhaust section 22, a plurality of inclined plates 24 inclined upward with respect to the exhaust direction are provided at required intervals above and below instead of the grating 23.

[0040] In addition, in the odor gas treatment device according to this embodiment, in order to prevent the first decomposition gas Gn1 of the odor gas Gn burned in the combustion chamber 10 from flowing from the combustion chamber 10 at a position close to the exhaust section 22 into the heat storage chamber 20 and being immediately guided to the exhaust section 22, when providing a suppression section 40 at the boundary between the combustion chamber 10 and the heat storage chamber 20 close to the exhaust section 22, for example, as shown in FIG. 6, a suppression plate 42 is provided in which both sides are arc-shaped in a direction away from the exhaust section 22 so that the area is larger than that of the semicircular shape, so that the first decomposition gas Gn1 is guided to the heat storage chamber 20 from a position away from the exhaust section 22 through the communication section 50, or as shown in FIG. 7, a disc-shaped suppression plate 43 is provided so as to close the boundary between the combustion chamber 10 and the heat storage chamber 20, and a plurality of circular communication sections 50 of different sizes are provided on the disc-shaped suppression plate 43, so that the diameter of the circular communication section 50 increases as it moves away from the exhaust section 22.

[0041] 6 and 7, the first decomposition gas Gn1 of the odorous gas Gn is introduced into the heat storage chamber 20 from a position away from the exhaust section 22 through the communicating section 50 and guided to the exhaust section 22, so that the heat of the first decomposition gas Gn1 is efficiently stored in the entire heat storage material 21 in the heat storage chamber 20, and the odorous gas Gn remaining in the first decomposition gas Gn1 is more efficiently decomposed by the heat stored in the heat storage material 21 in the heat storage chamber 20.

[0042] In addition, in the odor gas treatment device according to this embodiment, in order to prevent the first decomposition gas Gn1 from flowing from the combustion chamber 10 into the heat storage chamber 20 at a position close to the exhaust section 22 and being immediately guided to the exhaust section 22 by the inhibition section 40 as described above, a inhibition member 44 is provided at the boundary between the combustion chamber 10 and the heat storage chamber 20 close to the exhaust section 22, as shown in FIG. 8, with the upper surface 44a inclined downward from the combustion chamber 10 toward the heat storage chamber 20 and protruding toward the center, so that the first decomposition gas Gn1 of the odor gas Gn can be guided along the upper surface 44a of the inhibition member 44 to the communication section 50 and introduced into the heat storage chamber 20.

[0043] Furthermore, as shown in FIG. 8, in the heat storage chamber 20, an inclined guide section 51 can be provided at the lower corner away from the exhaust section 22 to reduce the flow resistance at the bend, so that the first decomposition gas Gn1 introduced into the heat storage chamber 20 from the communication section 50 away from the exhaust section 22 in the manner described above can be guided by the guide section 51 and led to the exhaust section 22 through the heat storage material 21 contained in the heat storage chamber 20.
