Abstract
Description
[Technical field]
[0001] The present invention relates to a dust collection and purification device, and more particularly to a dust collection and purification device that sucks in air containing fire-causing substances such as welding fumes and high-temperature dust generated during welding and harmful substances such as fine dust-like manganese, removes the fire-causing substances, and discharges air from which the harmful substances such as fine dust-like manganese have also been removed. [Background technology]
[0002] Patent Document 1 describes a dust collection device for sucking in, extinguishing (putting out flames), and separating, collecting, and cleaning fumes that contain sparks (spark powder) generated during welding processes in factories, welding processes at construction sites, and polishing processes.
[0003] The dust collecting device of Patent Document 1 comprises a suction duct connected to the upper center of a main body case, an inlet pipe line arranged vertically within the main body case so as to communicate with the suction duct, a pretreatment equipment arranged vertically within the main body case adjacent to the inlet pipe line, to which a lower end of the inlet pipe line is connected from the side and to which an outlet is formed at an upper end, which performs pretreatment by centrifugal separation, and a filter arranged alongside the pretreatment equipment within the main body case.
[0004] In this dust collection device, dust-laden air is sucked into the main case through the suction duct and flows through the inlet pipe into the pre-treatment equipment, where dust is collected during pre-treatment by centrifugation. The air is then released into the main case through the outlet, where further dust is collected as it passes through the filter, and the air is then discharged to the outside as clean air.
[0005] In other words, the dust collection device described in Patent Document 1 pre-treats the sucked in dust-containing air by centrifugation in a pre-treatment facility, extinguishing (putting out flames) fumes containing sparks (spark powder) and removing fire-causing substances, and then purifies the air by passing it through a filter made of filter cloth to remove odorous substances. [0006] [Patent Document 1] JP 2018-20323 A Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]
[0007] The dust collection device described in Patent Document 1 removes ignition-causing substances and then removes harmful fine dust-like substances by passing the substances through a filter made of filter cloth. However, if even a small amount of ignition-causing substances remains, there is a risk that the filter made of filter cloth will catch fire.
[0008] Incidentally, in the dust collection device described in Patent Document 1, a fire port that can be opened and closed freely is provided in front of the discharge port on the upper front part of the main body case in consideration of the occurrence of a fire. This makes it possible to extinguish a fire not only inside the pre-treatment equipment but also in the unlikely event that a fire occurs outside the pre-treatment equipment, such as in the filter inside the main body case, by passing a hose through the open fire port and injecting a fire extinguishing agent into the inside of the main body case.
[0009] Therefore, the problem to be solved by the present invention is to provide a dust collection and purification device which removes fire-causing substances to a level sufficient to prevent the outbreak of fire, and discharges clean air from which harmful substances such as fine dust-like manganese have also been removed. [0023] The dust collection and purification device of the present invention is equipped with a first cyclone that uses ascending air currents and a second cyclone that uses descending air currents, and after treating the dust-containing air in two stages, the target substances are removed by two filters. This makes it possible to remove fire-causing substances to a level sufficient to prevent the outbreak of fire, and also makes it possible to remove harmful substances such as fine dust-like manganese, and to discharge purified air.
[0024] In particular, a double cyclone configured with two primary cyclones arranged in parallel to rotate in opposite directions allows high-temperature dust particles to collide with each other near the boundary, making the particles smaller, increasing their surface area and allowing them to be cooled more effectively, thereby achieving a higher level of fire prevention.
[0025] Furthermore, when two or more secondary cyclones are provided, it becomes possible to treat dust-containing air more effectively.
[0026] Here, within the main body, a first cyclone is placed in the first (lowest) stage, a non-combustible filter is placed in the second stage above the first stage, and a fan and motor are placed in the third stage above the second stage. The dust collection and purification device has a vertically stacked structure in which the second-stage non-combustible filters are placed on both sides of the central space. This processes dust-containing air in order from bottom to top in the airflow, and by placing the second-stage non-combustible filters on both sides of the central space, the central space is divided into two for processing, making it possible to achieve high processing efficiency. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
[0028] Hereinafter, an embodiment of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings. In the accompanying drawings, the same members are denoted by the same reference numerals, and duplicated explanations are omitted. It should be noted that the description given here is merely one embodiment of the present invention, and the present invention is not limited to this embodiment. EXAMPLES
[0029] As shown in FIG. 1, the dust collecting and purifying device of the first embodiment includes a main body 1, a first cyclone 2, a second cyclone 3, a noncombustible filter 4, a high-performance filter 5, a fan 6, and a motor .
[0030] The first cyclone 2, second cyclone 3, non-combustible filter 4 and high-performance filter 5 are arranged in this order within the main body 1 so that dust-containing air sucked in from the suction port 11 can be treated in this order and then discharged from the exhaust port 12.
[0031] [Main unit]
[0032] The main body 1 of the first embodiment has a structure that can be separated into upper and lower two sections, as shown in Figs.
[0033] A suction port 11 is formed on one side surface of the lower section of the main body 1 .
[0034] As shown in FIG. 3, near the center of the upper ceiling surface of the main body 1, a discharge port 12 in the form of a long hole having a mesh structure is formed.
[0035] As shown in FIG. 4, casters 13 are attached to the four corners of the bottom surface of the main body 1.
[0036] A warning lamp 15 is attached to the front side of the upper section of the main body 1, and the temperature can be set to, for example, 70°C, which is generally considered to be a fire hazard, by a switch box 14. The warning lamp 15 flashes when the temperature exceeds this value.
[0037] An outlet 16 for the noncombustible filter 4 is attached to the front of the lower section of the main body 1 .
[0038] On the right side surface of the lower section of the main body 1, below the suction port 11, there are provided two interior access covers 17, one on the left and one on the right, for cleaning up welding fumes and the like that have been cooled and separated.
[0039] In Figure 4, symbol 18 indicates a suction pipe connected to a non-flammable flexible tube, one end of which is connected to the suction port 11 and the other end, which is the tip side, can be directed toward a welding work site, etc.
[0040] [Cyclone No. 1]
[0041] The first cyclone 2 shown in Figures 1 and 2, which performs the first stage cooling and separation process by using an ascending air current, is positioned vertically and has a roughly double-tube structure consisting of an outer tube 21 that is closed at the upper end and open at the lower end, and an inner tube 22 that is open at both the upper and lower ends.
[0042] The lower end side of the outer tube 21 is formed with an inclined portion 21a that is tapered so that the diameter becomes smaller toward the lowest end, and an open port 21b is formed at the lowest end.
[0043] The upper end side of the inner pipe 22 passes through the upper end side of the closed outer pipe 21 and is located above it.
[0044] The lower end side of the inner pipe 22 is located between the middle part of the outer pipe 21 and the open port 21b.
[0045] In the first embodiment, as shown in FIG. 2, a double cyclone structure is used in which two outer tubes 21 are arranged in parallel, and the sucked-in airflow is reversed (reverse rotation) during the centrifugal separation operation, and high-temperature dust particles collide with each other near the boundaries, making the high-temperature dust particles smaller, thereby increasing the surface area and allowing for more effective cooling.
[0046] [Second Cyclone]
[0047] The second cyclone 3, shown in Figs. 1 and 2, which performs a second stage cooling and separation process by means of a downward air current, is positioned adjacent to and behind the first cyclone 2 in a vertical position.
[0048] The second cyclone 3 has a double-tube structure made up of an outer tube 31 that is open at both the top and bottom ends, and an inner tube 32 that is also open at both the top and bottom ends.
[0049] The upper end side of the inner pipe 32 is located between the upper end and the middle part of the outer pipe 31 .
[0050] The lower end of the inner pipe 32 is located lower than the lower end of the outer pipe 31, and compared to the opening at the upper end, the opening at the lower end is narrowed by about 15% to generate a cyclone flow.
[0051] In the first embodiment, as shown in FIG. 2, the second cyclone 3 is configured by arranging six outer pipes 31, so that the airflow hits the noncombustible filter 4 in the next treatment stage evenly, and the load is evened out, enabling a two-stage cooling and separation treatment to be performed.
[0052] [Non-flammable filter]
[0053] The non-combustible filter 4 performing the first stage removal process shown in Figs. 1 and 2 removes substances with particle diameters of 3 micrometers or more, and has properties that make it non-burnable due to fire-causing substances.
[0054] The noncombustible filter 4 is located at the lower stage of the main body 1 and is installed vertically in a space communicating with the second cyclone 3.
[0055] In Example 1, although detailed illustration is omitted, Pyroscreen (product name) manufactured by Cambridge Filter Corporation is used as the metal filter constituting the non-combustible filter 4, and the non-combustible filter 4 is constructed using two units 41 (see Figure 2), each of which has about 10 sheets stacked together and fitted into a frame.
[0056] The unitized noncombustible filter 4 can be taken out from an outlet 16 shown in FIG.
[0057] The removed noncombustible filter 4 can be used continuously while maintaining a minimum level of removal performance for fire-causing substances by disassembling the unit 41, removing the metal filter, cleaning it, and then reassembling it.
[0058] [High performance filter]
[0059] The high-performance filter 5 that performs the second-stage removal process shown in Figures 1 and 3 has a particle collection rate of 99.97% or more for particles of 0.3 micrometers, and is composed of a HEPA filter made of glass fibers with a diameter of 1 to 10 micrometers.
[0060] The high-performance filter 5 is located on the upper side of the main body 1 and is installed vertically in a space communicating with the noncombustible filter 4 on the lower side.
[0061] Although detailed illustration is omitted, the high performance filter 5 is made up of two units 51 (see FIG. 3).
[0062] Although not shown in the drawings, the high-performance filter 5 can be removed by removing the upper left side surface of the main body 1, and can be replaced at regular intervals.
[0063] [Motor]
[0064] As shown in FIG. 1, below discharge port 12 in the upper section of main body 1, motor 7 having a vertical rotating shaft facing downward is attached.
[0065] [fan]
[0066] As shown in FIG. 1, below the motor 7, a fan 6, which is a runner and an impeller, is attached in a directly connected state.
[0067] A gap 61 is formed below the boundary wall between the space in which the high efficiency filter 5 is installed and the space in which the fan 6 is located.
[0068] Next, the operation of the dust collecting and purifying device of the above-mentioned first embodiment will be described.
[0069] The tip of the suction pipe 18 is placed at the welding work site, and when the welding work begins, the motor 7 is switched on to rotate the fan 6 to generate negative pressure, and high-temperature dust-containing air such as welding fumes is sucked into the suction pipe 18.
[0070] The hot dust-containing air sucked into the suction pipe 18 is sucked into the main body 1 through the suction port 11 located on the side.
[0071] The high-temperature dust-containing air sucked into the main body 1 is taken into each outer tube 21 of the first cyclone 2 and flows in opposite directions through the space between each inner tube 22, causing the high-temperature dust particles to collide with each other near the boundaries and be crushed, thereby reducing the size of the particles, and as a result, the surface area of the particles increases. That is, the effect of centrifugal separation is enhanced, and the collection efficiency is improved.
[0072] This enhances the cooling effect on the high-temperature dust as it descends in a spiral trajectory.
[0073] At this time, the heavy and large high-temperature dust falls from the open port 21b to the inner bottom surface of the main body 1 due to the centrifugal separation, thereby carrying out the first-stage cooling and separation process.
[0074] The dust-containing air after the first stage cooling and separation process is sucked in from the lower end side of the inner pipe 22, rises, and is discharged from the upper end side.
[0075] The dust-containing air discharged from the upper end side of the inner pipe 22 then flows into the second cyclone 3 from the upper end side of each outer pipe 31 .
[0076] The dust-containing air that has flowed into the outer pipe 31 descends between the outer pipe 31 and the inner pipe 32, tracing a spiral trajectory.
[0077] At this time, smaller dust particles fall to the inner bottom surface of the main body 1 by centrifugal separation, whereby the second stage cooling and separation process is carried out.
[0078] The dust-containing air that has been subjected to the second-stage cooling and separation process passes through the non-combustible filter 4, whereby the first-stage removal process is carried out for substances having a particle diameter of 3 micrometers or more.
[0079] The air that has undergone the first stage removal process passes through the high-performance filter 5, whereby a second stage removal process is performed for substances with small particle diameters, including harmful substances such as fine dust-like manganese, thereby completing the purification process.
[0080] The air that has completed the purification process passes through the gap 61 and is finally discharged from the exhaust port 12.
[0081] Here, by setting the set temperature to 70°C in the switch box 14 and leaving it in operation, if the temperature inside the main body 1 reaches 70°C, which is a temperature that would normally cause a fire, the warning lamp 15 will flash, making it possible to take immediate action.
[0082] After a certain period of time has passed, the initial performance can be restored by removing the noncombustible filter 4 and cleaning the wire mesh filter.
[0083] Moreover, by replacing the high-performance filter 5 itself after a certain period of time has passed, it is possible to maintain performance.
[0084] The dust collecting and purifying device has a double cyclone structure for the first cyclone and a six-row structure for the second cyclone, which provides an extremely excellent cooling and separation effect for fire-causing substances such as welding fumes and other high-temperature dust. This makes it possible for the air that has passed through the noncombustible filter 4 to be completely free of any substances that could cause a fire.
[0085] And before being discharged, harmful substances such as fine dust-like manganese are completely removed by the high-performance filter 5, so that a safe and secure working environment can be created even at welding sites. EXAMPLES
[0086] Next, a second embodiment will be described with reference to FIGS. 5 to 9, and the same names and symbols are used for parts having the same functions as those in the first embodiment.
[0087] As shown in Figures 5 and 6, the dust collecting and purifying apparatus of Example 2 has a main body 1 with a vertical structure in which, from the bottom, a cyclone housing body 1A in the first stage, a filter housing body 1B in the second stage, and a fan housing body 1C in the third stage are stacked.
[0088] In this way, by adopting a vertical structure, the ground contact area can be reduced.
[0089] Moreover, by adopting a vertical structure, the position of the outlet 12 can be raised.
[0090] The first-stage cyclone housing 1A is provided with a first cyclone 2 and a second cyclone 3, as shown in FIG. 6(B).
[0091] As shown in FIG. 6(B), the second stage filter housing 1B includes a noncombustible filter 4 and a high-performance filter 5 adjacent to each other.
[0092] As shown in FIG. 6(B), the third-tier fan housing 1C is provided with a fan 6 and a motor 7.
[0093] As shown in (B) of Figure 6, these parts are arranged in the order of first cyclone 2, second cyclone 3, non-combustible filter 4 and high-performance filter 5 within main body 1 so that dust-containing air drawn in through suction port 11 located on the front side of the first stage, which is the lowest stage of main body 1, can be processed in the order of first cyclone 2, second cyclone 3, non-combustible filter 4 and high-performance filter 5, and then discharged from exhaust port 12 located on the ceiling surface of fan housing 1C in the third stage, which is the highest stage of main body 1.
[0094] That is, within the main body 1, the first cyclone 2 and the second cyclone 3 are arranged in the first stage cyclone housing 1A, which is the lowest stage forming the suction port 11, so that the negative pressure generated by the rotation of the fan can process the air sucked in from the suction port in the order of the first cyclone 2, the second cyclone 3, the non-combustible filter 4 and the high-performance filter 5, and then discharged from the exhaust port 12. The non-combustible filter 4 and the high-performance filter 5 are arranged in the second stage filter housing 1B above the first stage, and the fan 6 and motor 7 are arranged in the third stage fan housing 1C above the second stage forming the exhaust port 12.
[0095] Here, the second stage non-combustible filter 4 and high performance filter 5 are arranged on both sides of the central space 62, and are adjacent to each other in the order of non-combustible filter 4 and high performance filter 5, facing outward with the central space 62 as the base.
[0096] [Main unit]
[0097] As shown in Figures 5 and 6, the main body 1 of the second embodiment has a structure that can be separated into three stages, from the bottom: a cyclone housing body 1A as the first stage, a filter housing body 1B as the second stage, and a fan housing body 1C as the third stage.
[0098] As shown in FIG. 7(D), a first connecting frame that is square-shaped and has a plurality of bolt holes is attached to the upper end side of the first-stage cyclone housing 1A.
[0099] As shown in FIG. 8(E), a second connecting frame having a square shape and a plurality of bolt holes is attached to the upper end side of the second-stage filter housing 1B.
[0100] As shown in FIG. 8(F), a third connecting frame having a square shape and a plurality of bolt holes is attached to the lower end side of the second-stage filter housing 1B.
[0101] As shown in FIG. 9(D), a third connection frame that is square-shaped and has a plurality of bolt holes is attached to the lower end side of the third-tier fan housing unit 1C.
[0102] As shown in FIG. 8(D), a square-shaped top plate having bolt holes at the four corners is attached to the second-stage filter storage body 1B.
[0103] As shown in FIG. 5, a suction port 11 is formed on the front side of the cyclone housing 1A.
[0104] As shown in Figs. 6 and 9, near the center of the ceiling surface of the fan housing 1C, an exhaust port 12 in the form of a long hole having a mesh structure is formed.
[0105] As shown in FIG. 6, casters 13 are attached to the four corners of the bottom surface of the cyclone storage unit 1A of the main body 1.
[0106] As shown in FIG. 5, a switch box 14 is attached to the front side of the fan housing 1C of the main body 1.
[0107] The switch box 14 is equipped with a temperature setting input means 14A and a differential pressure gauge 14B for visualizing the condition of the filter.
[0108] Although not shown in the figure, a warning lamp is attached to the side of the fan housing 1C that flashes if the temperature rises above a set temperature of, for example, 70°C, which is generally considered to be a fire hazard.
[0109] As shown in (B) of Figure 6, on the front and back sides of the filter storage body 1B of the main body 1, outlets 16A and 16B that can be opened and closed freely for removing the noncombustible filter 4 and the high-performance filter 5 are attached using hinges and clasps.
[0110] As shown in FIG. 6, on the front side of the cyclone housing 1A of the main body 1, below the suction port 11, there are provided two internal access lids 17 on the left and right sides for cleaning up welding fumes and the like that have been cooled and separated.
[0111] In Figure 5, symbol 18 indicates a suction pipe connected to a non-flammable flexible tube, one end of which is connected to the suction port 11 and the other end, which is the tip side, can be directed toward a welding work site, etc.
[0112] [Cyclone No. 1]
[0113] The first cyclone 2 shown in Figures 6 and 7, which performs the first stage cooling and separation process by using an ascending air current, is positioned vertically and has a roughly double-pipe structure consisting of an outer pipe 21 that is closed at the upper end and open at the lower end, and an inner pipe 22 that is open at both the upper and lower ends.
[0114] The upper end side of the inner pipe 22 passes through the upper end side of the closed outer pipe 21 and is located above it.
[0115] The lower end side of the inner pipe 22 is located near the middle part of the outer pipe 21 .
[0116] As shown in Figure 7, it has a double cyclone structure with two outer tubes 21 arranged in parallel, and the sucked-in airflow reverses direction (reverse rotation) during centrifugation, causing high-temperature dust particles to collide with each other near the boundaries, making the high-temperature dust particles smaller, thereby increasing the surface area and allowing for more effective cooling.
[0117] [Second Cyclone]
[0118] The second cyclone 3 shown in Figs. 6 and 7, which performs a second stage cooling and separation process by using a downward air current, is positioned vertically adjacent to the rear of the first cyclone 2.
[0119] The second cyclone 3 has a double-tube structure made up of an outer tube 31 that is open at both the top and bottom ends, and an inner tube 32 that is also open at both the top and bottom ends.
[0120] The upper end side of the inner pipe 32 is located between the upper end and the middle part of the outer pipe 31 .
[0121] The lower end of the inner pipe 32 is located lower than the lower end of the outer pipe 31, and compared to the opening at the upper end, the opening at the lower end is narrowed by about 15% to generate a cyclone flow.
[0122] As shown in FIG. 7, the second cyclone 3 is configured by arranging six outer pipes 31, so that the airflow hits the noncombustible filter 4 in the next treatment stage evenly, making it possible to perform a two-stage cooling and separation treatment while averaging the load.
[0123] [Non-flammable filter]
[0124] The non-combustible filter 4 performing the first stage removal process shown in Figs. 6 and 8 is for removing substances having a particle size of 3 micrometers or more, and is non-combustible with respect to fire-causing substances.
[0125] The noncombustible filters 4 are installed vertically on both sides (the front side and the back side) of a central space 62 communicating with the second cyclone 3 within the filter housing 1B of the main body 1.
[0126] The central space 62 is open at the bottom and communicates with the second cyclone 3, but is closed at the ceiling and both sides, with noncombustible filters 4 located at the front and back sides.
[0127] As shown in FIG. 5, a side access door for accessing the central space 62 is attached to one side surface of the filter housing 1B.
[0128] Although not shown in the figure, a sensor that detects the installation of the non-combustible filter 4 is provided in the central space 62, and the dust collecting and purifying device is set to operate only when the sensor detects the installation of the non-combustible filter 4.
[0129] In this embodiment 2, although detailed illustration is omitted, Pyroscreen (product name) manufactured by Cambridge Filter Corporation is used as the metal filter that constitutes the non-combustible filter 4, and the filter is configured using two units 41 (see Figure 7), one at the front and one at the back, each of which is made up of approximately 10 sheets stacked together and placed in a frame.
[0130] The unitized noncombustible filter 4 can be taken out together with the high-performance filter 5 from the outlets 16A and 16B as shown in FIG. 6(B).
[0131] The removed noncombustible filter 4 can be used continuously while maintaining the minimum performance of removing fire-causing substances by disassembling the unit 41, taking out the metal filter, cleaning it, and then reassembling it.
[0132] [High performance filter]
[0133] The high-performance filter 5 that performs the second-stage removal process shown in Figures 6 and 8 has a particle collection rate of 99.97% or more for particles of 0.3 micrometers, and is composed of a HEPA filter made of glass fibers with a diameter of 1 to 10 micrometers.
[0134] The high-performance filters 5 are disposed vertically adjacent to the outer surfaces of the noncombustible filters 4 located on the front and rear sides within the filter housing 1B of the main body 1.
[0135] That is, the noncombustible filter 4 and the high performance filter 5 are disposed on either side of the central space 62, and are adjacently installed facing outwards on both sides with the central space 62 as a base in the order of the noncombustible filter and the high performance filter.
[0136] Although detailed illustration is omitted, the high performance filter 5 is made up of two units 51 (see FIG. 8).
[0137] The unitized high-performance filter 5 can be removed from outlets 16A and 16B as shown in FIG. 6(B), and can be replaced at regular intervals.
[0138] [Motor]
[0139] As shown in FIG. 6, below exhaust port 12 of fan housing 1C of main body 1, motor 7 having a vertical rotating shaft facing downward is attached.
[0140] [fan]
[0141] As shown in FIG. 6, below the motor 7, a fan 6, which is a runner and an impeller, is attached in a directly connected state.
[0142] A gap 61 leading to the fan 6 is formed on the front side and the back side, which are the outer surfaces of the area where the high efficiency filter 5 is installed.
[0143] Next, the operation of the above-mentioned dust collecting and purifying device will be described.
[0144] The tip of the suction pipe 18 is placed at the welding work site, and when the welding work begins, the motor 7 is switched on to rotate the fan 6 to generate negative pressure, and high-temperature dust-containing air such as welding fumes is sucked into the suction pipe 18.
[0145] The hot dust-containing air sucked into the suction pipe 18 is sucked into the main body 1 through the suction port 11 located at the front.
[0146] The high-temperature dust-containing air sucked into the main body 1 is taken into each outer tube 21 of the first cyclone 2 and flows in opposite directions through the space between each inner tube 22, causing the high-temperature dust particles to collide with each other near the boundaries and be crushed, thereby reducing the size of the particles, and as a result, the surface area of the particles increases.
[0147] That is, the effect of centrifugal separation is enhanced, and the collection efficiency is improved.
[0148] This enhances the cooling effect on the high-temperature dust as it descends in a spiral trajectory.
[0149] At this time, the heavy and large high-temperature dust falls onto the inner bottom surface of the cyclone housing 1A of the main body 1 due to the centrifugal separation, thereby carrying out the first-stage cooling and separation process.
[0150] The dust-containing air after the first stage cooling and separation process is sucked in from the lower end side of the inner pipe 22, rises, and is discharged from the upper end side.
[0151] The dust-containing air discharged from the upper end side of the inner pipe 22 then flows into the second cyclone 3 from the upper end side of each outer pipe 31 .
[0152] The dust-containing air that has flowed into the outer pipe 31 descends between the outer pipe 31 and the inner pipe 32, tracing a spiral trajectory.
[0153] At this time, smaller dust particles fall to the inner bottom surface of the main body 1 by centrifugal separation, whereby the second stage cooling and separation process is carried out.
[0154] The dust-containing air that has been subjected to the second-stage cooling and separation process flows from the first-stage cyclone housing body 1A into the central space 62 of the second-stage filter housing body 1B.
[0155] The dust-containing air in the central space 62 is divided into two parts toward both outside, and each part passes through a noncombustible filter 4, whereby a first-stage removal process is carried out for substances having a particle diameter of 3 micrometers or more.
[0156] The air that has undergone the first stage removal process passes through the adjacent high-performance filter 5, where it undergoes a second stage removal process for small particle diameter substances, including harmful substances such as fine dust-like manganese, completing the purification process.
[0157] The air that has completed the purification process passes through gaps 61 formed on the outside of central space 62 of high-performance filter 5 , and is finally discharged from exhaust port 12 .
[0158] Here, by setting the set temperature to 70°C in the switch box 14 and leaving it in operation, if the temperature inside the main body 1 reaches 70°C, which is the typical temperature at which a fire may break out, a warning lamp (not shown) will flash, enabling immediate action to be taken.
[0159] After a certain period of time has passed, the initial performance can be restored by removing the noncombustible filter 4 from the outlets 16A and 16B and cleaning the wire mesh filter.
[0160] Moreover, by replacing the high-performance filter 5 itself after a certain period of time has passed, it is possible to maintain performance.
[0161] The dust collecting and purifying device has a double cyclone structure for the first cyclone and a six-row structure for the second cyclone, which provides an extremely excellent cooling and separation effect for fire-causing substances such as welding fumes and other high-temperature dust. This makes it possible for the air that has passed through the noncombustible filter 4 to be completely free of any substances that could cause a fire.
[0162] And before being discharged, harmful substances such as fine dust-like manganese are completely removed by the high-performance filter 5, so that a safe and secure working environment can be created even at welding sites.
[0163] Furthermore, because of the vertically stacked structure, the dust-containing air is treated in order from bottom to top along the airflow, and by arranging the second-stage noncombustible filter 4 and high-performance filter 5 on either side of the central space 62, the central space 62 is divided into two for treatment, resulting in high treatment efficiency.
